A memory these graduates will share with their children and grandchildren.
Tuscaloosa–that’s what the elephant said to the dentist!
At his 2:30 appointment.
Tantor, the MAGA Emotional Support Elephant
Fab!
McGoo’s Alma Mater!
MAGA!
“Too big to rig! We made it too big to rig!”
Too Big To Rig
Made A Steal Too Obvious To Survive
There is no Human ive ever heard of that could match DJTs strength. Hes better than the Energizer Bunny. and i dont think anyone has the knowledge of what goes on, because of his background and upbringing. The people he ws raised around, he ws involved not a child who played w toys.
President Trump attended Norman Vincent Peale’s church with family as a youngster. The Power of Positive Thinking.
Just be aware, Democrats have been trying to get protesters to Tuscaloosa to disrupt this speech. Saw on AL.com, Beto O’Rourke is in town. (AL.com is owned by a group from CA, but pretends to speak for Alabama.)
Disruption of their graduation ceremony will certainly be remembered, perhaps making the graduates lifelong MAGA GOP.
Indeed, AL.com is even worse than its predecessor The Birmingham News. The liberal rag now only offers a Sunday paper for $3.50 and is perhaps half as large as newspapers have always been.
I understand 10 idiots ‘er graduates left – like a fart in a storm! Their loss.
President Trump has landed in Alabama on his way to give the commencement speech
First graduating class of The Golden Age – WOW!
The pretty gal sitting behind him is smiling politely, but I haven’t seen her applaud or indicate any agreement with anything he’s said yet.
She’s clapping right now.
And now again.
Could be your viewing angle is hiding it.
I’m watching on Cspan 1 TV.
She really liked the Crimson Tide comment — as did our President!
National Renewal!
This is what I’ve been talking with my neighbor about: booming economy, people working good paying jobs, fixing our crumbling infrastructure, real hope for the future, healthy citizens etc but I didn’t have the snappy phrase. I love this spirit of National Renewal. MAGA🇺🇲
Restoration of the Republic.
250 More Years!!
Presidential 🤣 oh boy here we go
Hot Damn! POTUS just mentioned The Power of Positive Thinking!!!
I love you President Trump!
It’s great to see him get such a warm reception at a University.
maybe the “I’m a victim” studies majors have a different graduation ceremony (at the USAid office filling out grant forms).
Or maybe the “Victim Studies” majors don’t even go to U Alabama. (!)
I wonder if they even have Conservative – leaning Profs. there?
I’m sure they might, but most are typical liberals. Tuscaloosa is a liberal city.
My daughter attended graduate school at Alabama. She attended a small college for her undergrad. A small college with probably a 50/50 mix of liberal and conservative professors. There was acceptance of a variety of viewpoints, lots of debates and discussions all respectful. People discussed and debated issues, listening to opposing views, discussing various points, etc.
She thought Alabama would be the same, just on a higher academic level, particularly in graduate school. Boy was She in for a surprise!
Her first week, reading assignment on Woodrow Wilson followed by a class discussion. She was so excited until class proceeded. Student after student sang praises for Woodrow Wilson. When it was my daughter’s turn, she said “Gosh, I have a totally different view of Wilson. In fact some of things others are praising him for I’m pretty sure we’re unconstitutional”. She then went on to point out, bullet point by bullet point unconstitutional actions and/or things She disagreed with.
She said you could hear the class audibly gasp in unison. One student remarked “I guess we know who has a copy of Atlas Shrugged”. The students laughed. Undeterred my daughter snapped back “Actually I have two copies of Atlas Shrugged you’re welcome to borrow one and I’d also suggest The Creature from Jekyll Island”.
After class the graduate assistant had a heart to heart with her. He expressed that he and more importantly the professor didn’t think she belonged there and it might be best if she dropped out. They feared she wasn’t cut out for higher education and wouldn’t thrive, she just wasn’t cut from the right cloth.
Enraged, my daughter told them both she’d not only thrive, but in fact she would excel. She said the very students that mocked her would soon be begging her to help them with their studies. She assured them she had no intention of dropping out and that they’d eat their words.
She was top in her class, all the students and the professors did end up respecting her and telling her so. She landed a good job with a fortune 40 company before she graduated and has moved up the corporate ladder.
Alabama though is just as afflicted with leftist think and as infiltrated with lefty professors as any other university.
Unfortunately most all of the SEC schools are. It would shock most.
I suggest you check out THE University in Alabama at AUBURN.
My dorm (since torn down) was across the street from the Mises Institute on Magnolia Boulevard.
Also, Sundance; Refer to it as University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa and Big Al is going to have a conniption fit!!
Kudos to your daughter!!
wow. Thanks for that info, Somebody.
Really heartening to hear she finally won ’em over, tho.
Sorry to hear of your daughters plight…possibly that was because it was the Grad School…not undergrad…
Two of my sons attended undergrad…were in the honors college and top tier fraternities. It was a great experience for them, they loved it and did not experience what your daughter did. Both went on to Grad Schools…one Duke and the other Texas where they did experience left wing profs.
Most college towns are liberal…not as much at UA…if there are libs they are well hidden.
if you look at the kids behind our President they are clean cut, attractive solid individuals. They represent the majority of the kids at UA. It’s a great University.
Roll Tide.
Good parenting!!!
That was freaking awesome!
He loves people.
man, Trump gives it all! His endurance is amazing!
Trump gave 10 LIFE Lessons and was very inspiring to that class of 2025!
Trump just gets better and better. God Bless Trump!
That speech tonight was one of greatest. I loved his top ten hit list. The young kids standing behind him weer mesmerized.
Imagine you are listening to your schools’ commencement speech and hearing nothing but positivity and how great this country is. It’s a novel concept.
All Killer.. no filler!!!
“The next chapter will not be written by the Harvard Crimson but by the Crimson Tide.” That’s gonna leave a mark…
So good, these young people and their families will remember this as a highlight of their lives. The greatest President of our lifetime delivered their graduation address! Too bad it wasn’t FSU, but hey, nobody’s perfect 😇
Or AUBURN!
Yep. War Eagle. My experience with parents indicates AU is a good deal less woke than UA.
Just the looks on the faces of those graduates were amazing! They, more than any other graduates the last four years, have a future they will make to keep the momentum of that speech going.
Our President was terrific, especially comparing Harvard’s Crimson publication to the vibrant and champion makers of the Roll Tide bright red!
To show what a completely lost cause Emory University is,
their commencement speaker a few years back was ……
Anthony Fauci.
My older sister graduated Ohio State University, late 70s.
Daniel Patrick Moynihan was the commencement speaker.
When he began, about 5000 black families stood up, with their
backs facing him the entire time he spoke. Look up what he said
about illigitemacy in black families years before. That was their
justification.
When Fauci came to Emory, I was fervently hoping someone would
have the guts to give the bastard the Moynihan treatment, but nobody
sending their kid to Emory would have that mindset.
Emory is lost. In 2020 the admissions dept told us not even to drive on the campus in the “safety” of our own car. Imagine our surprise when all we asked was if they had an outside walking tour available.
Not only did we drive around the campus, we got out and walked it some.
In my mind, Emory went the way of Duke, any ivy, Rollins (Fl), OSU, USAFA, Wash U, and a few other woke ones – Not a cent would they get from us.
War Eagle!
