Attorney General Pam Bondi makes her 78th appearance on Fox News to outline the reasoning why Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was arrested by FBI agents earlier today for interfering with the arrest of a criminal illegal alien.
This is the second judge arrested for harboring and assisting a criminal illegal alien. WATCH:
WISCONSIN (AP) – The FBI on Friday arrested a Milwaukee judge accused of helping a man evade immigration authorities, escalating a clash between the Trump administration and the judiciary over the Republican president’s sweeping immigration crackdown.
FBI Director Kash Patel announced on social media the arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, who he said “intentionally misdirected” federal agents away from a man they were trying to take into custody at her courthouse last week.
“Thankfully our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public,” Patel wrote.
Dugan was taken into custody by the FBI on Friday morning on the courthouse grounds, according to U.S. Marshals Service spokesperson Brady McCarron. She appeared briefly in federal court in Milwaukee later Friday before being released from custody. Her next court appearance is May 15.
Dugan is charged with “concealing an individual to prevent his discovery and arrest” and obstructing or impeding a proceeding. She’s accused of escorting the man, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, and his lawyer out of the courtroom through the jury door on April 18 as a way to help avert his arrest, according to an FBI affidavit filed in court.
The affidavit suggests that Dugan was alerted to the presence of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in the courthouse by her clerk, who was informed by an attorney that they appeared to be in the hallway.
The affidavit describes Dugan as “visibly angry” over the arrival of immigration agents in the courthouse and says that she pronounced the situation “absurd” before leaving the bench and retreating to her chambers. It says she and another judge later approached members of the arrest team inside the courthouse, displaying what witnesses described as a “confrontational, angry demeanor.” (read more)

Demanded they respond in writing what steps they are taking to create legislation to stop this, what are the specific plans and timing. Allow me to provide some perspective on the icy wave that just landed in the county courtrooms of every blue and purple jurisdiction in America.
First, think in terms of territory. A judge’s courtroom is his or her territory. In back of the courtroom, or down the hall, are his or her chambers. Personal territory.
Inside the courtroom, he or she has something very close to absolute rule. From dress to behavior, a ticked off judge can throw anyone in the slammer for contempt.
So when the Wisconsin judge acted like this:

Some of that was a declaration of “not in my castle.” That the judge could think the laws of the US stop at the entrance to her courtroom is astonishing, (but also in some ways not.)
Second, do you know how your neighborhood would be buzzing for weeks if a neighbor down the street was arrested? That, times a hundred, for a 10 year judge in a county courthouse. When she gets on the elevator? “Good morning Judge.” When she goes to the cafeteria? “How are you, Judge?” And sits at the judges’ table. When she exits through security, “Evening, Judge.”
It’s a small town, and the judges are the local royalty.

I think God for AG Bondi, in FBI Director Patel and deputy Director Bongino. I think the DOJ is working in tandem with President Trump at his pace and timing. I’m very grateful for their entire operation and especially their immediate effort to ensure the safety of the American citizens. Their patriotism, decades of law enforcement experience, as well as their individual expertise, backgrounds, and commitment to President Trump‘s goals makes their team extremely valuable to our country and the world. 🙏🏻

Great news and yet there are always people who will complain about winning. This is a YUUUUGE win.
Do not need 2/3 of the Senate, just 12 people on a jury to remove a Communist Sleeper agent Judge to prison. All of her cases before her as a judge will be appealable now. I believe she was part of the human trafficking of children for the sex trade, also.
Complaints in these comments — arresting judges is no small thing. If either one is convicted of aiding/abetting/harboring, it will bring every case into question. This the real question going forward, how successful will the AG/FBI in getting convictions.
The rest of the story, IMO, is Trump & Co probably know they need to be careful not to push too many issues too hard, too quickly. History says complete meltdown of support, wearing out the welcome, too much anxiety and blowback, is very possible. I have personally been concerned about that for a couple of weeks.

This judge believes she is above the law. She broke so many laws its amazing. It is imperative that she go to jail both to protect the public from such a warped mentality and restore justice to the courtroom. It is impossible to believe she could have held impartial or objective views of the law. Remove her from the bench. Her sentence should be severe because she understood the law yet she held both it and the individuals responsible for it in contempt. Therefore she merits no mercy nor compassion.
Sounds like another famous Wisconsin legal case; Abelman v. Booth. Abelman was US Marshall for district of Wisconsin and alleged that Booth, in contravention of the Fugitive Slave Act, aided and abetted a mob to remove an escaped slave, Glover, from Abelman’s custody. Booth was arrested but the Wisconsin Supreme Court upheld a writ of habeas corpus freeing Booth. The US Supreme Court decided in the case that Wisconsin was subject to the Fugitive Slave Act provisions, notwithstanding any state personal liberty laws. The Wisconsin Supreme Court refused to file the US Supreme Court order from the case, though by then the case was effectively moot.
