my appendix burst when I was 12 and had spread all over and after the surgery, which was extensive, a few days later in the hospital my oldest sister and her friends were allowed to come visit (this was at at time where no one under 14 was allowed to visit people in hospitals) – they had me laughing so hard it tore apart some of the internal stitches, causing me to spend over a month in the hospital to heal, and yes, only my parents were allowed to visit, after that, and only for not more than 10 minutes with strict orders to not get me over-active with talking too much.
so it is possible if his surgery was that invasive.
Understandable with that kind of circumstance but adults and even children can be advised about laughing and excitement in general, instead of taking the draconian measure of not allowing contact with friends and family, which can be detrimental to healing. Do they take away electronic devices to prevent such patients from reading The Babylon Bee and make sure they don’t have television access in case something funny or too exciting is broadcast?
Agreed. Medical malfeasance flourished during the Covid lockdowns while families and patient advocates were barred from visiting loved ones. I can tell you without a doubt that both of my parents (who lived well into their 90’s) would have had shortened life spans without family present to challenge managed care protocols and negligence.
“Motor physiotherapy” in place of getting out of bed, sitting in a chair, standing, walking, and doing light household activities?
Hospitals do tend to want to get you up out of bed and moving as soon as possible after surgery.

Here is the game plan that the forces against Trump will be using for the foreseeable future.
They will attempt to get you to make the perfect the enemy of the good.
Be it the freedom clowns and spending, the immigration hawks with H1B visas, the peace doves with timing, the cultural warriors with total bans of DEI/CRT, the neocons with war fighting, or the swamp dwellers with draining the swamp.
All of them will attempt to get you to believe on whatever issue is the issue of the day that it doesn’t go far enough or do enough.
They will try to make you think that some sub issue of that issue is more important and should be handled first, that since the issue hasn’t been handled yet it won’t be, that we can’t do more than one thing, that so and so is a plant to stop the draining of the swamp, or that because it wasn’t 100% Trump lied. On every single issue, one or more groups will attempt this strategy.
You can’t allow them that power over you. If Trump secures the border and deports 2 million, don’t allow them to reduce that good by them saying well he didn’t deport 2.5 million, so he failed or lied.
You can’t allow them to use the perfect to void out the good in the coming months.
They will try. They already have with the CR and the H1b visa debates. It works, that is why they use it.
You have to keep it in the front of your head on everything about to occur that half a loaf or hopefully in most cases 7/8ths a loaf is better than no loaf.

If we honestly watch PDJT and look at the fruits of his labor we will be amazed.
Listen to what President Trump says, his transparency in what he thinks, and the purposes behind his actions. You can see the consistency in the words he speaks, what he asks/demands of others, and the massive nearly overnight changes he is making in the world. It is amazing. It is amazing he is able to accomplish so much when there are so many snakes in the grass, often seemingly on his own team — but less so this term.
The purposes of everything he does, plainly visible despite our battered conservative skepticism, are for benefit first of the common PEOPLE of this country, then of the PEOPLE in the rest of the world.
The methods of his leadership are amazing. I still don’t get HOW he does it, or HOW he is able to get so much momentum going, but every day the momentum is growing. Everyone and every organization has their eyes opened every day — just by watching him. Even those who hate him, are biased against him, and want to see him gone — cannot ignore him. He lives rent free in their head, and they come around to seeing the universal principles by which he is operating.
He believes people are basically good. He believes that God is real. He believes that healthy people are happy people, and they need to be able to create wealth freely for their labor, and have the freedom to spend their money on what is good for them.
He believes the United States, with its Constitutional Republic, is the best environment in the world for happy and prosperous people.
He believes that we can be a light for the world, but we must demand that the rest of the world respect us and our right to life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of happiness.
He believes the enemy of our country are the stupid, greedy American people who selfishly took advantage of this country; who betrayed the trust and obedience of its people; who diverted the people’s wealth for their own selfish gain, at the expense of the principles of this country. He’s not going to allow that anymore.
He wants the US to be a light on the hill, and will negotiate win/win with those nations and countries who respect us and the principles and intent of our Constitution. But if you do not respect us, we are not going to let you take advantage of our goodness share in our wealth at our expense. And if you as a nation are treating your people badly, you are going to be treated less favorably by us until you show you value your people as much as we value ours.
He is convincing those who are very wealthy (most of who truly earned their money), that the best economic soil in which to build wealth is in a constitutional republic, which supports the ability of the common man to earn wealth in proportion to his efforts. The economic engine of the United States is the human spirit freed to enjoy the fruits of honest labor, and that engine has more natural and raw horsepower than any other governed economy.
The Trump Train, seems to be remarkably aligned with universal principles of Truth — and the principles of our Creator who is undeniably the standard in all of our founding documents.
These principles resonate deeply within all human beings, down to our DNA in every cell, in our spirits, and produce fruit that “miraculously” multiplies. I was fishing in FL as a teen and unbeknownst to me, I was standing on an ordinary ant hill.
