My wife and me honeymooned through parts of B.C and Alberta camping.
Saw the headwaters of the mighty Columbia River, camped at Banff, hiked the trails of Lake Louis. We ended our journey with a stay at the Empress hotel in Victoria.
It was wonderful and we were treated great and I miss those times in the early 90’s. There was none of the societal disruptions that we see today. I don’t where the planet took a wrong turn but it’s my guess it started when we kicked God out of everything. Now we are left to our own devices.
I worked in Vancouver for a few months during the 90s. I spent my spare time exploring the city and absolutely fell in love with it. I marveled at the cleanliness of the rain swept urban area and the beauty of the North Shore Mountain backdrop. If the company I was consulting for hadn’t folded, I might have seriously considered living there.
I haven’t been back since, but I did watch a documentary last year that showed current conditions. Behind the drug zombie infested tent cities, I recognized the streets I had wandered back then. As with so many broken places in the world, it hurts.
I worked in the D.T. for nearly 33 years, we live 40 mins from D.T. and never consider going into the city.
It is just another communist destroyed city..

My wife said that President Trump is trying to do too much at once and she’s right.
1: A 25% tariff on imported cars will drive up the cost of American made vehicles by $10,000 – $20,000 because 50% of GM, Ford and Chrysler cars are made in Mexico and Canada. Plus American manufactured cars have 40% foreign parts mostly engines and transmissions which are not easily manufactured. Increasing the tariffs from 2.5% to 5% would raise revenue and increase American content without bankrupting GM, Ford and Chrysler.
2: It takes 3 to 4 years to build an auto assembly plant in the US and that’s a plant using mostly foreign made engines and transmissions. How much will the cost of cars increase waiting for increased production?
3: Sanctions on Venezuelan oil just reversed the price of oil back to $70 when it had been $64 and falling. Why would you want to drive the price of oil UP when you’re campaign was to bring down inflation and the cost of energy? Sanctions on Venezuela could have waited until oil was under $50. No?
3: Deportations shouldn’t be publicized to allow Lawfare to quickly run to court and easily win injunctions! Just deport them and keep it secret!
Never forget GM and Chrysler were part of the tarp bail out in 2008 to the tune of 80 billion dollars. They shouldn’t have lasted this long.
