Yes, factually and taking an objective review of all datapoints as they continue to assemble in the big picture, almost all roads of compromise and corruption trace a path back to Langley, Virginia, home of the CIA operation.
As people are aware, the CIA is an unaccountable, uncontrollable, self-activated and self-authorized power within the core of the intelligence apparatus. Their operations are unknown, their source of their financing (govt and private) is unknown, their networks and affiliations around the world are unknown, and every branch of government defers to their power and authority.
CIA operations both domestic and foreign are carried out by a network of people who are siloed within the main silo structure, keeping everyone in the dark as to how their activity interconnects to the activity of others. It is a large system of control and corruption, and arguably no CIA Director in recent memory -at least since the 2001 shift to automate the continuity of government- has control over the operation.
According to Catherine Herridge (*nudge*wink) current CIA public information manager John Ratcliffe has invited DOGE head Elon Musk to discuss the feasibility of making the CIA more efficient.

We don’t know who they are, where they are, how many there are, how they are financed…
All we do know is that they get away with murder– figuratively speaking –of course.

If they actually reach $1T (doubtful), it would be only 14% vs. budget, not nearly enough to stop the runaway debt growth.
Especially if Trump extends the tax cuts.
So… stopping the debt growth is not the real reason for DOGE.
Neither is improving government efficiency, as forced RIFs and adminstrative overload from that are causing increased dysfunction and inefficiencies.
They appear to be rooting out waste and fraud, but compared to the scope of government overall these are trivial in scope, similar to the budget savings.
So what are the real goals?

Just read Jeff’s post and was coming here to see if any Treepers had any thoughts on his speculations…I think he might be on to something but don’t want to get my hopes up that it will be as big as he is inferring.

I just don’t see the CIA’s financials being all nicely connected to a single network that DOGE will access. I see it more as the agent in Moscow uses his burner phone to call his “bank” in the Caymans to make a wire transfer.
The CIA may actually come out looking pretty clean. Their official budget which DOGE will see will be payroll, building lease payments, and utilities.

The CIA certainly does have an interesting history, from it’s origins as being a spin off from the Pinkerton Detective Agency, during the US Civil War … to it’s more formal inception as a rebranded OSS, from WWII.
Having traced back, in US History only, the involvement of the US Financial Captains of Investment and Industry to the 1920’s …. when they used the the US State Department, US Marines and US Navy to secure their overseas investments in Asia and South-Central America via removing local nationalists and propping up favorable governments …. history shows there is a continuum of Financial Puppet Master influence (if not ownership) over the the organizations that became the CIA … and use of the US State Department across the globe.
Knowing what we have now learned … I contend that even in Vietnam … the CIA was supporting both sides of the war under the control of the Financial Masters. it was never much publicized that the OSS actually created Ho Chi Minh and Viet Cong during WWII to fight the Japanese. OSS cells went native all over the Asian Continent … those links were never broken.
Succeeding Republican and Democrat Administrations from 1946 forward, used the CIA to remake governments across the globe in a way that was advantageous to Wall Street while sometimes putting a government in power that “looked democratic”. These actions are the root cause of the hatred for the US Government across the globe.
Note: the derisive slang term GRINGO is actually an acronym for “GREEN (US Troops) GO HOME”, from the US 1916 incursion into Mexico and picked up by other nations afterward in South-Central America in the 1920’s onward.
The CIA (as well as their predecessors) and US State Department have operated as a team for the past 100+ years under the thumb of and to the advantage of the Major US Financial Masters … who’s aims up to 2004 aligned with those of the US Government. After 2004 and the fake Banking Crisis of 2008-2009, control flipped to the reverse Fascism we have today … with a Global Corporate structure using GOVERNMENTS and UN as their executive agents of control.
President Kennedy used the CIA … don’t be fooled. He may not have liked some of their operations but he used them … across South-Central America and Asia. If they were part of his demise, it was over an operation (the Bay Pigs comes to mind) and not because he wanted to close them down.
President Nixon knew of their activities and may have tried to squelch them … but even he used them as needed.
President Trump is actually the first to confront them and really try to close down their influence. The problem is that President Trump is up against the Financial Puppet Masters who own them as well as the US State Department who is their primary partner in crime, who have operated as a single entity for well over 100+ years.

There were actually CIA and state Department activities in Afghanistan that were really acting “for the good” and contrary to directions from above.
There were 2-major “turn coat” incidents that involved entire CIA-DEA-State Department field stations being wiped out by “turn coat” Afghans as well as other field incidents of US Special forces Teams being targeted. The two CIA stations caught my attention at the time because …. the Black Water Security Teams that had been successfully protecting those stations … were WITHDRAWN by the Obama Administration and they were replaced with local Afghans. These folks, the CIA and State Department, have also policed themselves as needed.

How did it happen, you ask? Good question and if you are new to CTH …. go back here on CTH and re-read the articles covering the “Gang of 8”, the House INTEL Committee and the Senate INTEL Committee.
Step by Step … Congress and The Executive Branch (i.e. Succeeding Presidents except President Trump) have CODIFIED everything about the US INTEL Community, to include: secret budgets. secret operations, man power, training, use of DoD, links to the US State Department, OVERSIGHT, et al … are to be done OUT of SIGHT of the Public … and are LEGAL.

The National Security Act of 1947 which established the CIA basically contained the seeds of the destruction of our Constitutional Republic. If any agency within the government is allowed to act outside of the US Constitution in secrecy without the ability of any other branch of government to counter their power, it means death to our system of government.
I and many others here have probably read many books on the CIA. From my reading, it is clear that the CIA was NEVER subjected to oversight starting in 1948. This problem certainly became worse recently, but corruption is corruption. It was a corrupt and criminal agency with thousands of Nazis on staff working in Europe to “prevent Communism from spreading.” (i.e. the Gehlen group). Starting in 1948 they began election rigging.
I do not know if anyone has contemplated a comprehensive solution to the corruption of the CIA. Anyone who tried to actually confront the CIA was either murdered (JFK) or had his Presidency compromised (Nixon). Murdering heads of state was/still is business as usual for the CIA, which has their own combat forces.
What is important for patriots to think about is this: Every branch of our government is corrupted. When the corruption affects all three branches, it is not enough to fix one branch, because when that is tried, another corrupt branch will step in to stop that attempt to clean out the corruption.
Thus what is happening with rogue judges is happening because the judicial branch is corrupt. Not only that, but CJ John Roberts appears to be either involved in the corruption or trying to cover it up, which is the same thing. If the judicial branch is so corrupt that it is going to actually prevent a duly elected President from functioning, elections are meaningless. If elections are meaningless we live in a totalitarian state that cannot be fixed.
Legislation is needed to maintain Trump’s Executive Orders beyond his presidency. But Congress is in on the corruption too. That is why they have done nothing so far, now 3 months into Trump’s presidency. They know that if they cave to Trump, the elites who have kept them in Congress will replace them. The uniparty must hold the line and keep the corruption going.
So all 3 branches of government are working against the Trump Administration, to sideline Trump and check his power as completely as they can.
