When Vice-President JD Vance delivers prepared remarks about Artificial Intelligence, pay attention.
JD Vance is the 2028 presidential candidate of choice for the Technocrats; the current goal is to envelop the MAGA populist movement for the intents and purposes of the collective network of Technocrats.
This motive and intent baseline will not change as Vance positions to replace President Donald Trump.
During a speech to the American Dynamism Summit, JD Vance outlines his optimism for the future of the U.S. economy, as boosted by the technological advances in artificial intelligence.
Within his remarks, Vance correctly notes some voices are saying there is going to be a major fracture between the “Techno-optimists” and the “populists.” However, Vance defines that chasm, and then refutes that fear/concern around jobs, advanced AI, automation, innovation and the economy. He misses what will be the root cause of the fracture completely.
Vice-President Vance notes there is nothing to fear from innovation, artificial intelligence, robotics and advanced industrial application of emerging technology. Indeed, all facets of economic growth through the use of all the aforementioned enterprises are correctly framed by the vice president.
There is nothing to fear on the economic front from the technological advancements currently underway.
Let me repeat, before I get misinterpreted….
Everything JD Vance says about the economic future of the United States, against the backdrop of innovation and AI is accurate. JD Vance is 100% correct. However, that’s not the predictable root cause of the upcoming fracture between the Techno-Optimists (his term) and the MAGA populists.
The fracture is going to come as an outcome of how AI networks with government and then destroys privacy, liberty and ultimately freedom for Americans.
It is not the economic side of the AI system Vance supports on behalf of his benefactors that is problematic; it’s the creation of a compliant surveillance state that flows as a natural outcome of advanced and automated AI systems within a highly weaponized government. That’s the problem. That where the fracture will occur.
Techno-optimists are not paying any attention to how their beloved AI networking can be weaponized in a surveillance state. When you combine fully automated AI data processing with ‘Real ID’, facial recognition software, digital identities created for each American and the motives of govt, you can easily predict what comes next.
The U.S. surveillance system can then be fine-tuned (depending on who is in charge of it) to use the real-time digital and physical identity to control access to systems. Write a Facebook post critical of government, get blocked from your bank account. Do something defined by government as against their interests, lose your access to travel etc.
The problem for Americans is how advanced AI will be deployed under the guise of efficiency to create a comprehensive DHS surveillance state.
The predictable system will automate, connecting every aspect of our lives to our compliance in living that life in the manner approved by those who control the system.
Privacy, freedom and liberty, core fundamental principles of our American system, are replaced with surveillance and defined citizen compliance. These are the pesky issues JD Vance and his Techno-Optimists (Thiel, Sacks, Musk, Ellison, et al) do not want to consider when they think about those pesky ‘proles’ they call “populists.”
Vice-President JD Vance has been constructed as the palatable messenger to calm the fears of MAGA. To calm those AI fears, Vance focuses attention to the well-discussed AI issues around jobs, labor and employment as outlined in his speech.
Listen carefully. However, the issue is not economics, it’s about privacy and liberty. WATCH:

I have often thought that this would be a better goal of the Convention of States movement. A friend recently asked for the cheapest flight from point A to point B to save some money for a travelling relative… and one of the AI engines returned some obscenely low priced flight which she subsequently booked. Never would have found it on her own. The airlines themselves probably didn’t even know that fare existed.
And this is one of the least amazing feats of AI these days. I’m not entirely convinced that they are not reaching a point where version 7.0 AI will be able to write version 8.0… or heck… version 20.0 directly.

That phone is tied to you specifically. But you don’t take it anywhere. However, it’s already been associated with your wife’s phone (assuming you’re married and she has a phone). It’s associated with your cars. You don’t have to connect them, all these devices read the BT and WiFi names and addresses around them. Then you drive to your friend’s house a few times a month. His devices see your cars BT address and report it. An association between you and your friend has been made and your location noted.
Then another friend comes to your house with his phone. You are ahead of the curve, you don’t even have WiFi. But that TV you bought 4 years ago does, along with Bluetooth. And your phone already reported your TV as a device located in your home. So now he is associated with you.
Now let’s add AI. The “blob” knows your friends. Their life patterns, much of yours, etc. You have a bowling league you go to on Tuesdays. AI knows. But you called a cab and paid cash to get there, it still knows.
It knows that is exactly where 4 of your friends are and you stop using your phone just before they all get together every Tuesday, and then start using it again shortly after they all leave.
It is literally like the Matrix. Your friends are still plugged into it the system and that makes them dangerous (to your privacy).

I fear there is no stopping AI. I can only hope that there are clever safeguards put in place. I’ve said this here before, if the income tax is eliminated from most Americans, or ALL, then the government will be hard pressed to have AI be a great tool for rounding up Americans. The way they tend to bury people is through tax evasion, whether large amounts or small. If that arrow is taken out of the justices quiver, it helps alleviate the things they could possibly spy on you for.
Yes I know there are other ways, but this is the biggest one/lowest hanging fruit. I would expect other safe guards, this was just a prime example. Making universal healthcare illegal would be another safeguard. Snapshot of reality from Central Indiana today – Small seasonal business here, meaning that our raw materials expenditures are all front-loaded into the season and we don’t start making money at a break even point until roughly July or August. We now have these “pass thru entity taxes” on a quarterly basis at the State and Federal level and now were just informed that we must file our payroll taxes “semi-weekly” (two times a week) and we process weekly payroll… rather than our quarterly processing formerly acceptable.
What does this mean?
This means that we are paying more and more in government taxation at a time when we are cash-strapped due to raw materials expenditures that typically carry longer payment terms – for us buy in March have until June 1st to pay. Thus we are being more and more challenged as a small business to carry more and more liquid cash into our savings to cover our bases and it is scary!
What does this mean?
Fewer and fewer will practice entrepreneurship and enter into small businesses because of how PREDATORY the government has become on small business.
Don’t even get me started on B.S. OBAMACARE, which is raping our employees. Me specifically, I had to lower my withholdings to pay for some unexpected expenditures in my home due to the educational system deciding it wasn’t doing its job anymore and I had to save my daughter from physical, emotional, and academic danger and bring her home to homeschool her. I process and manage payroll, so knew I was going to owe the government $500 in taxes this year. Then, when I added in the 1095-A for the B.S. Obamcare – I was dinged an additional $1400 (!!!) despite having OVER DECLARED my household earnings at the beginning of the year with health insurance renewals…. which is the ONLY HEALTH INSURANCE I can purchase as a small business employee. The governments are killing us and burying us in the minutiae of quarterly filings for income for both Fed and Local and now semi-weekly payroll taxes, which I don’t even know how we would calculate that since we are not daily payroll… we are weekly. It’s outrageous!

Wish we could – but we are court ordered into traditional health insurance due to parenting order. Christian Health Ministries is not considered “traditional health insurance” and does not meet that requirement. Also, it has a two year pre-existing condition clause. So, for instance… I have Hashimoto’s and Hypothyroidism. If I were to have a cardiac event, such as a heart attack… they could tie it to the Hypothyroidism and refuse to cover it.
There are complications preventing one’s health care freedom. We currently pay a functional medicine practitioner CASH as direct pay because they are really the only ones practicing true “medicine” anymore. Our health insurance premiums for two are $700 a month and no self-respecting doctor takes the insurance. Yet, we give all this healthcare away to illegals… for free.
Obamacare made me LOSE MY HOME and be FORCED TO SELL IT… over $30 a month. It’s quite the story.

If we are forced to pay “proposed taxation”… this takes nothing into account of catastrophic changes that sometimes affect business planning and are usually balancing the scales of amount of taxes owed during tax season.
The loss of a $300K client.

Unexpected economic downturn (COVID plandemic for example).
Unexpected raw material shortages or exponential increases in cost eroding profit margin.

You might not like the answer. Move out of the city. Give up city life. I moved to the country a few years ago to start the disconnect. I still work in a big city and I’m not out of debt yet. But in a few more years I can be debt free. I am surrounded by like-minded neighbors (capitalists, 2nd Amendment lovers, decent people) even though that neighbor might be a mile down the road. We can raise cattle, chickens, grow hay, etc. when the time comes. We keep an eye out for each other and our property, dogs, etc. We still have to use U.S. currency but at some point in the not too distant future we could be a self sufficient community. I haven’t even raised that idea with those around me. I’m not a Prepper. But I know we could easily and quickly become a co-op of sorts when the time comes and the situation chagnes. I love it out here and will never move back to a large, ugly, dangerous, crowded, over-taxed city. … That’s one option to consider.

I detest this concept. It has taken over the entire corporate, money-grubbing world, and it has made things much less efficient.
Try to call someone at a corporation or big business today, to attempt to solve a problem, and you get immediately devoured by their AI-controlled telephone answering “system.”
Unlike people, these systems cannot “think” for themselves. It took me TWO HOURS to solve a $5.00 mistake on my bank statement the other day.
And just try to contact the Social Security administration or some other government agency. Their AI telephone system simply does not let you talk to a real, live person.
And everything must be done through an online questionnaire, or complaint form, or through some stupid “app” that is designed to frustrate the consumer into just giving up.
I hate technology. I have hated it from the day I received my very first “telefax,” as a lawyer, from another lawyer, back in the early 2000’s, who demanded that I respond to his legal argument, by return telefax, by the end of the day. I threw a complete shoe at that one.
Sundance is right. The Technocrats want to take over and control the world. For the last twenty years, they’ve used their wonderful technology to dumb-down an entire generation (or two). Nobody can think for themselves these days. Nobody can solve problems quickly or easily. And thank you for the link (I still, however, do not understand what is meant by “caste system” re the surveillance. An example would be helpful. I don’t know what this means or how it would occur.)
I have a difficult time drafting a proposal when I don’t know the specifics about a problem to be addressed. For e.g. to take something narrow: TSA — if it were to be eliminated completely, what alternative security measures would there need to be (why) and which feasibly could be put into place; if it’s only to be modified, what aspects pose the most privacy and/or time- or money-wasting violations (the rules about what can and cannot be taken aboard? the time and hassle of lines? the X-ray? the refusal to profile? whether and when and for how long why and where are records kept, etc.)

But there should be software that can provide excellent encryption and deception for the average user. You may have to pay a price to use those systems. But it would be very worth it.
Facial recognition technology is harder to avoid. Everyone wears a mask? Yes, but even the way a person walks is unique. You can be identified by satellite by your walking cadence.
You could trade cell phones with your friends.
You can push false information into the system.
You can store your cellphone in a Faraday cage when driving. Turning a cellphone off isn’t enough because it wakes on its own and pings the nearest cell tower.

I suggest a big picture view. If you don’t have diversity, if you have a people that is either one nation or a federation of similar nations (like Switzerland and the USA that existed when I was born) then no one, not even a country ruled by an oligarchy, NEEDS a police state.
Laws are an extension and codification of mores, the cultural standards that each people have for what constitutes acceptable behavior, individual and cooperative. Mores were the guide to how interpersonal conflict was mediated before written law was invented by the Babylonian Hammurabi. Every ethnicity has different mores, which are a manifestation of instinctual preferences for how to organize themselves socially, economically, and politically. Some peoples are more similar than others.
A police state becomes necessary, from the perspective of those who rule and want to protect and grow their wealth, when those over whom they rule have vastly different mores and thus comes about the reality that there is no one set of law that can rule over them all that extends naturally from all of their various disparate mores. There is no one-size-fits-all legal governance solution. (1)
So law in a diverse country inevitably becomes something that everyone is unhappy with, because at most the law becomes something with which only one group is happy. It’s why America is the most diverse, litigious, and unhappy of the European polities. It’s why multiethnic and even more so multiracial democracy is just tribal raiding parties formalized with paperwork and in slow motion. We battle each other to ensure that the law that governs over us all, extends from OUR mores, and not the other groups’ mores which are often antithetical to our own.
It’s why flying on airplanes has become an invasive totalitarian horror. It used to be, once upon a time before diversity, that buying an airline ticket was like buying an expensive cheeseburger. You amble up to the counter, you put your money down, they give you a boarding pass with your seat assignment, then you hand it over at the boarding gate and go get into your seat. That you might be carrying a bomb or a weapon to hijack the aircraft was on no one’s radar, because it simply didn’t happen. Be ruthlessly honest with yourself about what has changed between then and now.
That these kinds of civilizational stability considerations are not at the fore of the public argument, but instead Vance and others focus on ‘efficiency’ is a deep indictment of the capability of any kind of merchant (and the tech merchants are still a HUGE improvement over the speculative financialist merchants who have been misruling since at least 1970) to design the cognitive infrastructure (the rules and boundaries) of civilization, of how we organize our political, economic, and social behaviors. If you have to build a police state to keep a country together, then the country is a failure and everyone but the parasites will be better off going their own way.

A German newswoman was interviewing an Islamic man who was in a crowd out rioting (I think in Berlin). She asked what they want.
