During the Q&A session, Mr Miller discussed the administration’s position against the extrajudicial ruling of DC Judge James Boasberg, who attempts to inject himself into the ‘national security’ authorities of President Trump and direct both national security and foreign policy as it relates to criminal illegal aliens.
Simultaneous to this presser, Judge Boasberg – who previously celebrated President Trump being dragged into court – was questioning DOJ lawyers about the criminal alien deportation process. President Trump’s lawyers are correctly using the ‘national security’ argument that removes Judge Boasberg’s ability to inject himself into the issue. Boasberg is furious.
As noted by Margot Cleveland:
Judge Boasberg: So, you’re saying we were outside of airspace so no jurisdiction?
DOJ: No, “removal” happens when they left US, so that means they were already removed, which is what the Court order pertains to.
Judge Boasberg: Equitable power has extraterritorial reach; you can’t violate it.
As noted by Politico:
[…] Deputy Associate Attorney General Abhishek Kambli said the foreign policy concerns related to the operation were paramount.
“These arrangements were the result of intensive and delicate negotiations between the United States and El Salvador,” he said.
DOJ further frustrated Boasberg by refusing to provide almost any details about the deportation operation, repeatedly invoking national security to defend the secrecy.
“Why are you showing up today and not having answers to why you can’t even disclose it to me?” the judge asked.
As the hearing neared its conclusion, Boasberg demanded that the government answer — by noon tomorrow — a series of questions about the flights and their passengers, as well as exactly when Trump signed the proclamation calling for the alleged gang members to be expelled from the country. He also ordered the filing of more briefs on the legal arguments in the case.

Beautifully stated, nichan. I try (and many times do not succeed) to pray for His will to be done and to help us to trust Him when things get this sketchy. I believe this man (the judge Boasberg) knows he’s in the wrong, he’s trying to smack down our President and delay any effort to reclaim our country for our people. I pray this man sees the light of the Almighty and that our President and his staff show the country the truth — this is a battle for the souls and lives of all Americans.
When we pray for God’s Will to be done, most of us have an idea what (we) think should happen/what we really want. Most of the times if your will is aligned with God, it may be an instantaneous answer/grace, gift given and we know it immediately. We thank God and henceforth over time praying thinking our prayers for God’s Will to be done weren’t answered; we thank God for the increased faith.
Actually no prayer out of good from the heart goes unanswered, and every prayer is hear by God. Answers to prayers; be it immediate, at some other time or even when we are gone to rest are; in God’s own time (hence we pray for His Will to be done). . As time goes when we keep persevering in prayer until we even tell Jesus, I think you know who the people I used to announce by name (so I won’t rattle them off from now on because it is long and You know who they are, what they need)
As more added to the list, family, friends, acquaintances, those who ask for prayers(are not revealing what they need), someone unknown/new in all places encountered who need prayers, fellow worshippers we don’t know first hand but for some reason we had to attend a different mass and encountered them who asked for our prayers – naming them. More often than not, we don’t know if God answer these prayers.
Because some we never ever see or run into again – but it does not matter we know or not.
God knows who they are. Oftentimes, we know without looking for if praying for others get answered when and how; is when (even years after) we know from some small-world encounter e.g. a new neighbor or store person who happens to talk about their family member/friends (one of those in our prayer list) and something about all is well now; the children (grown ones usually) who stop or never go to church; that after 20+ years of a single mother/widow/or a couple’s prayers for them have returned to church and even got their children baptised. Names in prayer list gets longer or grow in pages – the beginning of daily prayers for self and others becomes “all those I pray for, what I pray for, after God’s Will and for His glory”. Minimum is 3 days of rosary each week – it takes effort and the rosary can become just something we do as obligation when we are not part of it or meditating on each mystery when the fruits of each mystery is to be imitated/lived out and obtained. What a rich life the rosary offers along with thorns and deprivations we tread on the way to Heaven; with Love, Hope and Faith in the One God who created all His Creation in His own Image, putting in our restless hearts to come and want to love and know Him; where our real home is with Him at earthly life’s end.
Never give up, there will be lapses, discouragement or faltering faith, yet it is in the humdrum and routines that our personal sanctity is worked out when we pay extra attention to not let emotions, moods, doubt or ennui get hold of us when we do. It is better not to do so in a manner of ‘having to do it’ as opposed to ‘got to do it right, with God’s grace, I can do it.” Along the way, on hindsight and revelations, we discover all along we have received gifts and graces and even more we don’t expect or realise existing in us needing the daily watering routine for seeds to grow. We actually acquire a patience wee may have but now it is patience in all things, without making distinction as to who/what we are willing to put up with – although the struggle to overcome that takes practice and letting self go. God sees and helps our efforts so what is innate in us as created after “God’ image” is the light we live by. Inner life gets spring cleaned and a long overhauling – all of which is God’s work with us mostly being dragged by one hand and later cooperating when only when real experiences we go through teach us best that no lecture, force nor cohesion can do. And, we want more of the peace, happiness inspite of obstacles and insurmountable hurdles because the inner stillness is God’s presence that we do not want to let go off; hence deeper faith and strength in spirit. There will be times when we may complain, that we can’t go on; something gives us a little nudge to go forward/take a break/get up and do something else – even sit down and finally prepare something good/with gratitude for every moment it takes to go through the do-something-else brings. Little things which help us do a recharge by putting a ‘tiger in the tank’. Most people appreciate this more than the usual doing something else for a change out of boredom; soon to be looking for another change.
Daily life is the reality – it may seem tedious and unfruitful/unrewarding except when we do each thing as best we can along the way; live each moment as best we can (may not be perfect – just as sometimes, the more than perfect rare moments is the daily living reality.
Life may seem the same, no obvious change on the outside when it becomes lesser to looking for distractions/entertainment to fill those hours. Most of us have to spend years working at some same old place (if we are fortunate)/feeding and taking care of the kids/or taking care of/cleaning up and helping patients to recover in hospital work. And joys or otherwise, problems to work through to discover an inner peace, and live life that best with what we have, can do, try to do, learning always and also letting go.
To relish each moment of the day undistracted by some desire to escape so as not to have to deal with the next hours, or; with not much to look forward. The living is in the richness of every moment we reap and harness, discovering and learning how. Sometimes an uphill task – we ourselves get in the way. No worthwhile thing that we do is without effort. The same goes for our praying constantly/regularly.
Praying for all God’s children.

Here’s how to stop Boasberg and the other rogue judges. Revoke their security clearances on the belief they are compromised. They won’t be able to hear any cases. The list of sketchy and unconstituitional rulings by Boasberg as listed by SD in a previous post is more than enough to open an investigation and use national security as the reason. If it gets challenged, the courts, as SD has pointed out, always defer to on going investigation and national security. Boasberg can’t do squat.

Having said that, and others here have made similar points, the judicial branch is the weakest of the three. They have zero enforcement power. Their very existence and their ability to mete out ‘justice’ depends on their legitimacy. And that legitimacy depends on, in the end, the public perception of fairness.
Much damage has been done to this public perception over the past 25 years. More damage is occuring every day.
SCOTUS has already passed on one opportunity to reset the table. If they continue to pass, the Administration should ramp up their effort to ignore the courts. Call their bluff. Force SCOTUS to act one way or the other.

It seem that their ability to mete out “justice” depends on their ability to have police arrest and imprison people, as the stick. Regardless of public perception of their legitimacy or fairness.
And in the surreal legal sphere of the District of Corruption, where the Bill of Rights apparently does not apply, it appears those imprisoned have no right to a writ of habeus corpus, so the judicial branch can leave them to rot in the gulag for years without getting around to due process. Witness the J6 atrocity.
The idea that the existence and ability of the judicial branch to mete out “justice” depends on public perception of fairness sounds like something they tell students in law school.
Kinda like the idea “government by the people, for the people”, vs. the reality of the Golden Rule (“He who has the gold, makes the rules”).
Cynical? “A cynic is a disillusioned idealist”. Dispel the illusions.
This is exactly what the PDJT and his administration should do. There is no other way. The separation of powers is exactly that. Force SCOTUS to act.
Presently, due to the presence of Roberts and Barrett, I don’t trust the SCOTUS to make a constitutionally sound decision if forced to rule on a case.

Think about it. Why is he in the spotlight right now? Does he want to be? Or is he being forced to be? Me thinks it’s “forced”. It has to be. This is the Judicial over-reach case to end ALL Judicial over-reach.
Clean up on Aisle J. And bring a bucket because a Deep clean-up is needed.
Methink Bondi should ask the appeals court to remove Boesberg from the case, on the grounds of obvious bias after he presided over the previous show-trial of PDJT. Use the same argument against Berman-Jackson and the handful of other Fasc1st judges who participated in kangaroo courts of DJT and/or J6 political hostages. Maybe another angle could be to classify all the deportation details as top secret, and refuse to provide them…. tie them up with a legal battle, appeals etc, over whether they’re allowed access to classified information. Overload these petty tyrants, while continuing forward with the operation.
DOJ already did that yesterday. But one bets the idea didn’t come from Bondi.
One aspect of the DOJ-Boasberg exchange that is especially rich is the DOJ invoking National Security concerns as to why they are refusing to provide the details Boasberg is demanding: Boasberg was the presiding Judge [2020-2021] of the secret (can see/review National Security Letters etc.) FISA court (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court).

Congress has the constitutional authority to create and limit the lower courts. I believe this will eventually not be resolved by the Supreme Court, but by Congress limiting the jurisdiction of the lower courts.

It’s about Democracy. It’s about highlighting the “unelected bureaucracy and the unelected judiciary” who are protecting each other.
If these two groups are allowed to continue to protect each other, then the center of power shrinks even tighter within that unelected group under that protection scheme. That is not democracy. That must end. It is ending. That’s what we are witnessing.
This whole thing is about exposing and shattering that “unelected bureaucracy and unelected judiciary” and doing it in accordance with the U.S. Constitutional authority already in place.
