FBI agents used taxpayer dollars to crisscross the country and conduct dozens of interviews in support of the political probe.
The unclassified FBI records convey the alarming scope and speed of the FBI’s 2022 investigation of President Trump, which they dubbed “Operation Arctic Frost.” The investigation – launched by anti-Trump FBI agent Timothy Thibault in a breach of FBI protocol – formed the basis of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s elector case against Trump. Upon opening the investigation, Thibault vowed it would be “prioritized over all others in the Branch” and commented that “it frankly took too long for us to open this [investigation].”
“Sunshine is the best disinfectant,” the chairmen wrote to Bondi and Patel. “The American people deserve to know the complete extent of the corruption within the DOJ and FBI that led to the investigation into President Trump. We are making this information public for purposes of public accountability and to provide specific examples of past behavior at your institutions that must not be repeated. You need to think about the counter-intelligence function it performs. That is critical and needs to be kept up and running just not in its current form. That’s the most important question, of what to do with that, and how. Because that’s the division that Obama weaponised against the American people instead of keeping it focused on genuine spies operating inside America. That’s the key to any re-structuring.

There’s a good reason polygraph tests are not allowed as evidence in a court of law.
I’m not saying they cannot be useful; just that they’re far from infallible. I’m living proof of that fact. People need to be aware of their shortcomings before accepting their results as gospel.
Back in the ’80s, I was required to take two different polygraph tests several years apart as a prerequisite for being hired for two different jobs. Same polygraph agency, same questions, same answers but different operators and opposite results on two questions
I failed the first one but was hired anyway because the hiring company’s owner had known me all my life and knew the results couldn’t be accurate. I passed the second one with flying colors even though the agency, the questions. and the answers were all exactly the same.
If I had been accused of a crime and polygraph test results were acceptable as evidence in a court of law, I would have been in deep trouble after the first test that was totally inaccurate.
It’s not for evidence in a trial, it’s to determine who’s done what, inside the FBI, since Obama weaponised it. Actually, it was Mueller who first started the weaponisation, but who cares.

The timing of President Trump’s address to the DOJ, along with the timing of the Arctic Frost document release from Grassley and Johnson, cannot be coincidental.
Pam Bondi has accomplished nothing of consequence so far and was publicly embarrassed by the Epstein Files fiasco. Yet President Trump stood in front of the DOJ staff and praised Blondie like she was the second coming of Margaret Thatcher. Why would he do that.
Johnson and Grassley sent their Arctic Frost documents, along with a stern letter, to Blondie and Kash Money (who also hasn’t accomplished anything yet). It seems logical that they would have looped in President Trump on the communications.
Is it possible that President Trump was trying to bolster Blondie’s standing within the DOJ at a time when many were beginning to doubt her?
It it also possible that, at the same time, President Trump was letting her know that toughness and decisive actions producing results would be immediately required?
We don’t have enough information to know the answers to those questions. It’s possible that President Trump was putting Blondie on notice that it’s “put up or shut up” time and that he expects action now.
We will soon find out. Perhaps Blondie will surprise me and aggressively tear into the suspects with the full weight of the DOJ.
