For the past two weeks, the Snow Mexicans have been booing the USA national anthem when played in Canada during sporting events. While we hold no animosity toward Canadians, last night the Team USA hockey team beat them 3-1 on the Snow Mexicans home turf.

With the win last night, team USA clinched a spot in the 4 Nations Face-Off championship game on Thursday in Boston. Canada could fill the other spot if it beats Finland in regulation on Monday or with an overtime win if Sweden doesn’t beat the U.S. in regulation.

I can’t support the booing but I understand the Quebecers frustrations, given the present and future loss of Canadian jobs whether the tariffs are enacted or not.(see link) Canadians didn’t encourage the Democrat and RINO politicians to export industries (pharmaceutical) and millions of jobs to China, Mexico et al. or to fight endless costly wars. (Some Canadians fought and died in Afghanistan but it was “only” 150 dead on top of the wounded). Canada didn’t provide the Taliban with$ billions in military equipment or take part in the $Trillion systemic fraud in the USA’s Fed agencies. Canada didn’t have a part in allowing the U.S.A to continue over spending and becoming the most indebted nation in the history of the world or open its borders to the world. I could go on and on.
But “nefarious” Canada is now to blame and is accused of callously robbing the USA so it must be severely punished. Renegotiating a signed trade agreement is now the unfashionable way to deal with a long time trade partner and neighbor. Just sign a large piece of paper called an Executive Order and inflict economic chaos on others. Given this reality booing is nowhere near the worst thing.
I have prepared well for times like this so I am not being a crybaby or a whiner as anyone commenting on this subject seems to be labelled here.

You know Arlan, at first my hackles were raised pretty high while reading what you’d written. I am a proud American who will fight for my country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. I took that oath decades ago, and have never once changed my mind or lost my love for the U.S.A.

Canada has 4 official political parties and Trudeau only gained 37% of the vote so we are a multi political party country and I hope the Conservatives will form the next gov’t.

Canada beat Finland on Sunday so the championship game between the USA and Canada is at 5:00pm PST or 8:00 EST of course in Boston. This is the game that counts the most. Scalpers are making a fortune on the tickets. Last I heard they were around $6,000 US each and I ‘m sure they are much higher now.

When you live in the North parts of the USA and obviously Canada, there is such a thing as WINTER where it gets really cold. I know its really COLD when I look out my window and see that my rhododendron bushes are in “shrinkage” mode. Their leaves contract in the cold weather.
I think it is most amusing that the reaction to Trump is that many are behaving as if they are going into shrinkage mode. I forget what the TV show was ( Friend’s ?) when the actor George Constanza’s went into the ocean to swim and was stunned when his p*nis went into what he called “shrinkage.”
I can’t get that whole scene our of TV show out of my mind when I am watching many in the world going into what I think is “shrinkage mode” in reaction to Trump, Vance, Rubio. I think its all so hilarious. I LOVE Team USA.
