Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba was asked for his first impression of President Donald Trump at the conclusion of their first meeting. You could hear a pin drop as the White House press pool listens to the respect delivered. WATCH:
.
Regarding the politics of the Japanese military aspect to the reply. It is the legacy of assassinated Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who was a close and dear friend of President Trump, that set Japan on the path to rebuilding their military and independent national security. PM Abe was crossing the country to talk about the need for a newly built military that would provide American defense forces the ability to draw down. PM Ishiba is continuing that legacy initiative.
RIP Shinzo Abe. He is greatly missed.

President Donald J Trump the GOAT of American presidents!

Whaddya think, dear “nephew”???
🏴🏴🏴
Brilliant!
Most definitely Auntie Bet! Like I said before, with his repeal of the unconstitutional Affirmative Action which discriminated against me out of my “Dreams” of working in the Dept of Natural Resources with Wildlife Conservation, perhaps your grandchildren or great-children,neighbors .cousins, etc or other treepers same scenario, can perhaps have their dreams fulfilled now thanks to our great PDJT. Mine were denied but I overcame my bitterness years ago and perhaps others of my friends and your family will have the chance I did not have.
The song is great but it may not be your speed Aunt Bet. I kinda think you’ll like it though. 80’s classic Southern Rock. Describes my state of mind on losing out on my dream which I went to college for of working with Wildlife and to help them.
Dreams I’ll Never See

Yes!
Hey Monti my friend. Great song. I saw them in concert once with the Outlaws. Outlaws are great also. Green Grass and High Tides forever mate!
Ozark Mountain Daredevils.
It’ll Shine when it shines.
I’ll check it out right now. I always liked their “Jackie Blue” song.
Memories and rocking with the good stuff! Thank you
Saw them with Outlaws and 38 Special. Great show except for 38 Special.
Remember when you could go see three terrific bands for like $10? My memory may be off but I’m pretty sure the lineup was The Outlaws, Blue Oyster Cult and ZZ Top at The Spectrum, Philly, Pa.. back in mid-late 70’s.
The guitar solo in Green Grass & High Tides is forever etched in my soul. Rock on, brother!
I know what Affirmative Action cost you, dear friend; and knowing you so well and your love for the outdoors and God’s feathered creations, you’d have to be superhuman to not have grieved (if I may use that word) for a dream shattered by that odious social engineering thankfully now wadded up and tossed in the bin. Thank you, President Trump.
But just look what you’ve brought to this forum! Your knowledge and passion has given me…and others I know…so much joy. The loss of that government agency was great. But I wonder if you’d have found this beautiful Tree otherwise…
We’ll never know of course. However, I do know you are such a good soul…and that loss was our gain.
Oh, and my musical tastes are eclectic, Colkitto…
Reminds me of my university days actually. No bad thing 😉👍🏻
You always know what to say, and say it so eloquently and fitting. That’s why you are OUR Bet!
Your the best auntie!
Painted Bunting. God is the greatest artist of all!

His palette is like no other. See? Our gain …😌💕
I had a career path blocked by an affirmative action set aside.
You know, PC…In my life when I have had major crushing disappointments, I have gone on to understand the reasons for them because something much better followed. Same with my adult children. Of course it was years past before I could look back to see. But if one thing had changed I wouldn’t be where I am now…which is a very good place.
I am sorry you were deprived of advancement because of that insidious program. But I truly hope you have discovered….or will…the same in your life as well 💕
Bill Gates Teacher Improvement initiative ended my career after losing my mom in a horrible house fire..it was a blessing that saved my life and enabled me to spend a few years tending to my elderly dog, my father and my brother. When they were gone Trump took office and boosted the economy, we strated our STR “hobby”…it kept me busy until Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act tanked the economy and we were forced to sell off properties. I’m praying Trump reverses this economy and another door opens for me at 69..
As an old-school salesman/territory Rep my husband wasn’t so much impacted by Government Mandated Affirmative Action as he/we were damaged by Federal/Government/ Political Actions.
Carter’s contrived “oil crisis” collapsed the oil/gas industry in Louisiana/Texas/Oklahoma … followed by Carter’s exploding home interest rates in excess of 16% !!! You CANNOT SELL ANYTHING to ANYONE when the majority of banks/businesses/builders/buyers are filing bankruptcy, or fleeing those 3 states.
The profoundly corrupt Louisiana democrats (think Carville/Brazil/Edwin Edwards) made certain Louisiana NEVER recovered lost businesses or population as they kept the entire state as their personal laundromat/grifting piggy bank !!!
We are finally a Red State with a Republican Governor & our 5 largest corrupt cites (excluding the worst, New Orleans) now have Republican Mayors !!!
These good men & woman have a Century of death, dependency, deviancy & destruction to overcome 🙏✨🇺🇸🙏✨🇺🇸
One of the first songs written by a young Gregg Allman.
Great cover of the ABB tune.

Thanks for the song!
my mis-spent youth!

Request for info: You said, “with his repeal of the unconstitutional Affirmative Action.” I remember the SC shot down affirmative action last year. Did PDJT do something in addition to the SC that I missed?
❤️ definitely brought back memories. Great tune!
LOLOLOLOL!! Yes, meant to be!!
ha ha ha, thanks for this!
I’m sure someone could meme that in artistically to give us an idea.
Hmmm now I have to take a trip up there and talk to the guys Love talking to the guys and the Lord
Since I moved here I go there every Christmas day and about 3 or 4 other times. Heard they might be doing fireworks this 4th so I really want to go.
I’ll bet after four dry July 4th years of the walking corpse ix-nixing fireworks, hating America as he and his accomplices do, we’re in with a chance this year, kin.
Our 250th!!
God bless America!!
🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
250th will be in 26
Of course…and now you know why I have to stop on occasion to remember which day it actually is 😉😎
Thought I was the only one who did that. I 😂
Try waking up and having to try and remember where you are?
Did that for years after leaving the Military.
On an entirely different level! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!!! ❤️
It was an honor and a blessing to serve, thank you for your kindness.
I most appreciate your “It was an honor and a blessing to serve,” I also appreciate your “thank you for your kindness,” however, I see it as how we should treat ALL those who serve, I also believe that our Veteran’s hospitals should consist of the best available medical care, physicians etc., psychiatrist, psychologists etc., and were all of us to treat our military and first responders in the same manner, it would elevate most, if not all, to respond as you did, “It was an honor and a blessing to serve,” and they would serve accordingly.
I NEVER encounter an apparent member of our military, a police officer, a fireman/fire woman, etc., without thanking them for their service. To me, it is a mandatory and sincere sentiment of my appreciation.

Thank goodness, Marilyn. Reassuring to know I have company!!😂
Been there, done that! 🤣
This is what I look forward to seeing some day

“You’re not the boss of me.”
I bet he was a pistol when he was little 😁
Dude! One question please. lol
Yes Shinzo Abe is greatly missed.
The one foreign leader closest to him in his first term…and a great good friend.
You know he feels the loss still.
It can’t be easy translating from Japanese to English, real time, under pressure and with many cultural differences & nuances. ‘Suck up’…lol
Real time interpreting is a blast.
Much respect for such competence.
I am very impressed with these
Japanese interpreters….they
have such lovely voices!
👏
I confess a certain fondness for them.
a.i. will be replacing interpreters in short order

Not all for the better.

I’m sure the fake news was stunned by the Japnese Prime Minister’s response.

Soon to be relegated to info commercials due to death of most MSM free/cable news broadcasts. The FCC is under new control, and the scrutiny is going to be expensive for their subjecting themselves to Govt payments for propaganda for Democrats during the past few years w/o giving equal time to PDJT while slandering him, his family and the USA conservative movements beginning w/the Tea Party.
Japan produces quality goods and services.
China produces junk.
In God We Trust
Trust God.
Fear not.
China ends up in the landfills giving the Communist Dems another lecture-point for them…
He (Prime Minister Ishiba) certainly has large shoes to fill….
You could feel Prime
Minister Abe speaking.
Abe remains a giant.
His and PDJT’S spirits will stride the world for eons to come.
Wow! Japan has set itself the target of investing $1 trillion in the US. Most of that will probably be used to build new factories that will employ American manufacturing workers. That’s a huge investment!
If Mexico doesn’t get its mierda together it will see us taking a fifty mile buffer zone that will not only cut off the Cartels, it will absorb all the Maquilladoras constructed to manufacture products to flood our market.
Instant Dust Belt.
Better, though, we repurpose those factories to our own ends.
Friends and Investors like Japan would be at the head of the line for the best newest most advanced facilities.
Karma in Trump Time.
I say we take the whole enchilada. Make it a US Territory. And never let the corrupt crime organizations rise again.
We share in your enthusiasm here. One small issue with your idea, though. The United States has not been very successful in suppressing corrupt crime organizations within its own boarders. Will it be any more successful dealing with such crime in a territory?
We have a new Sheriff in town and so far he’s not letting up on dealing with the criminal element.
So I am guardedly optimistic.
Japanese companies invested in East Tennessee near Knoxville have been very responsible. Denso donated to help fund a beautiful public library in Blount County. Denso executives have a reputation for being discreet and not-ostentatious about wealth, also. I welcome the Japanese
Japanese culture truly values respect and propriety.
Greatly admire that.
Get that birth rate up Japan. That or import 1st world workers.
Why are 3rd world workers always imported?
Because if it wasn’t for Mexican guest workers in agriculture Americans would starve to death.
Not true. This is a protected “carve out” for generations of crop pickers. Americans are not allowed to get these jobs. It is a big club and we aren’t in it. These crops, like squash and melons and berries and tree fruit have to be tended with care to get top dollar. We can only pick and cultivate veggies and fruits we grow ourselves.
I worked my hiney off in the fields as a kid.
I despise the lie that we can’t or won’t do such work.
As did I, we tended the fields in the morning and sold the produce in afternoon at a roadside stand. My older brother–baled hay back in the old days (late 60’s) all summer to get in shape for high school football–all the privileged white boys did work like that.
Oh yeah, baling hay was fun.
Chucking bales of hay six layers high to someone on a moving trailer.
All day long, best beating ever!
My first paying job was driving a hay truck. I was too little to buck hay, but I could sure drive. I was eleven years old.
Rule #1 for the driver, no matter how young we were, was that if you goofed up with the clutch pedal and spilled the load you had to get up there and re-stack it all by yourself. Became quite proficient with the manual transmission at a very early age.
Seen it, been there, done that. And got the worn out pants to show for it. The “best” part was stacking in the barns. The ones with poor, if any ventilation, and it’s 100+ degrees even if you do find an open window or stand by the door.
Yup.
White privilege my ass.
We worked for it all.
Slept like a log every night.
I fully agree.
Growing up in very rural SE Alabama most of the small/medium farmers allowed people to come harvest fresh produce, especially those with large families, Black white, it made no difference, and most would accept what you could afford. Many an early morning would find me and neighborhood young children out picking, peas, squash, tomatoes, cantelopes, watermelons, cucumbers, onions, strawberries, blueberries, etc until everyone had enough for canning storage, or if accessible, large storage freezers set up on a lot of back porches. We were always glad that neighbors from church and surrounding areas would put up notices of free/low price ripe truck produce, and commercial growers were mostly helpful to share. I different time than now. I know of very few people that grew up in rural areas that did not share their harvests with neighbors, just like now, living on Lake Eufaula, I have always been blessed with abundance of fresh fish during spring spawning and share w/my few neighbors I have left, a good source of tasty protein that is always welcome. It happens soon this month, boat is ready again.
Excellent way to live.
I farmed perishable crops in Washington and California requiring hand labor for years . Have you?
You are correct.
Americans were driven out of the fields.
If it wasn’t for Mexican guest workers in agriculture Americans would have expanded the mechanization of harvesting decades ago.
Because the people that engineered the birth dearth in the first place wish it.
Fabian socialists, a plague on the world since before the time of Malthus.
Now pull the threads further, to see the millenia of conspirationalism that informs all they do and the bloody ideology they wield.
An unparalleled tapestry of ancient vicious murderous anti-human supremacism.
Who did The Red Terror?
Why?
I’m certain of one thing, they were murderers from the beginning. There is no truth in them.
Old money, and even older bloodlines.
More to the point, the Red Terror had it’s backers from both London and Wall Street.
Indeed, to all.
True freedom is still far far away, so many lies hiding who they are, so many liars burying us in their endless mendacity, all too many right here in our own beloved Treehouse.
JD in the front row, learning first-hand from the master!
Beautiful! ❤️
That was a heck of a question…
N’est-ce pas?
in four parts…….
The American President maintained his silence . . .
I’m guessing that Trump didn’t go to the Sean Hannity School of Social Etiquette?

So does Right Side Broadcasting on GETTR, and most of the time Real America Voices as well, lots of conservative outlets on web that broadcast for free w/o subscription fee.
Prime Minister Abe was a good and true friend of the United States.
Amazing!!! So wonderful!!
The Golden Age of America spreads to the whole world.
I like the Japanese PM!
Shigeru Ishiba !!
Make Japan Great Again!!
MJGA
God Bless President Trump! We are blessed, and the world will be blessed as well.
Outstanding.
President Trump is greatly respected in Japan because of this close relationship with Abe. The President just recently hosted Abe’s widow at Mar-a-Lago and stays in frequent contact. These types of relationships are extremely important in the Far East, and you could see in the genuine way the Japanese Prime Minsister responded in the meeting.
Shinzo Abe’ was a trusted friend of not just President Trump but also India/PM Modi
We greatly miss and respect Shinzo Abe san.. from India too.
I will always admire the Japanese people..and I root for them in their struggle against the Deep State
We are blessed.
While I get Yoko’s take, I love a good meme, and this one is sweet.
Attention admin this is not what we want to see on CTH. Remove please. Flagged.
Why is Trump frightening on TV? I find him funny and relaxing!
It would be lovely to have a second translation. Kudos to the lady who kept up with the Prime Minister, totally on the fly. But I understand the Japanese language has subtle nuances. Could be interesting to see how another translator — perhaps listening in slow motion:) – could pick up those nuances. (NOT expecting anything “bad.” Just curious.)
NO kudos, BTW, to the woman who asked the question. I lost count of how many questions she squeezed in. Pretty amazing that the Prime Minister seemed to address them all.
I love the Japanese people.
I hope there are advisors PDJT trusts who urge him to go easy on the arm twisting relative to foreign investment. I have the uneasy feeling the PM of Japan may have been the victim of a shakedown. But, I do want U.S. jobs brought back from overseas (mainly China) and Mexico. With PDJT you don’t get subtlety.
The Japanese place mutual respect at a high level in society, and for someone to have such fine words for you, speaks volumes. Thank you PM Ishiba, and I hope, you enjoyed the visit.
So funny how he said Trump was frightening on TV. Good!
