Former USAID Administrator Samantha Power, the architect of the “Responsibility to Protect” doctrine (R2P) traveled to CBS HQ in New York for a late-night television appearance with Stephen Colbert. Colbert never asked her, if true – then why spend time in healthy Hungary and well-fed Europe? I digress.
Similarly, if the mission of USAID is as Mrs. Power described, then why was she never describing that ‘humanitarian relief’ type of activity in all of her self-promotion videos that she distributed during her travel. I am going to post a short example below the Colbert video so you can watch it, listen to what Power says in her own words about her objective, and then contrast that against the USAID mission as she proclaims on Late Night television.

In that short video, Samantha Power, the U.S. State Dept (USAID) and CIA, are essentially admitting to running a political influence operation in Hungary, seeding the groundwork for another color revolution. They were not trying to hide it at the time. However, with newly awakened Americans now looking at the revelations from within the USAID review, suddenly the mission changes to feeding starving children in Africa.

I would love to see a comprehensive listing of every newspaper and media outlet in the US that received funds from USAID…I got onto the website and tried to “search” for everything in the Seattle area but there were so many hits related to other expenditures that it was impossible to narrow it down. I think there were 10K entries alone for The Boeing Company! I’m sure that someone who is more computer savvy than I could make short work of it. I just think it would be fascinating for everyone to find out just how bought and paid for their local media really is!!

In the early 90s, had a commie professor, who didn’t know was commie at the time, who wrote a book on democracy in which he advocated voting on everything important. I said that didn’t make sense because the Soviet Union failed because of excessive centralization, and that voting on everything would create another point of centralization because media would be used to inform people on the issues and possibly manipulate people to vote a certain way using propaganda. Had just come from California where the referendum process was an absolute mess and evinced precisely these qualities. The commie professor freaked out and gave an F/incomplete. This didn’t make any sense because it seemed perfectly obvious and logical. Now, after seeing Sammy run around for USAID doing exactly this, influencing voters with media-based propaganda, understand that the professor freaked out because the assessment was too accurate, not because it was poorly thought through.
I had two commie profs from the University of Michigan who showed up for positions at UC.

Thanks! That was at an east coast private school and ended up going to a flyover public school. A professor there wanted to see me after class, and I thought he was going to yell at me. Instead, he asked, “What are you doing here? Why aren’t you there?” I told him I wrote this paper, and he wanted to see it. So I let him, and after a few weeks he said, “It’s got its problems, but you’d have to be pretty low to give a first-year student a B on a paper like this.” After that, I had an angry look on my face and said, “I’m going to give you some advice–let it go. Don’t fight because you’re never going to win. It’s unfair, but you’ve got support here and you’ll finish.” The sad part is that a brilliant Polish classmate got tangled with the same professor, and she got tossed after too many years in the program, so she couldn’t go elsewhere and never finished. She wanted to come to America to study in the country that helped end Polish communism, so her academic story was tragic.
I don’t know about a payout to Fox, we shall see, but I DO remember they did that!
