How could that helicopter NOT see the jet? I don’t understand. Awful.
Packrat’s husband here. I was a test pilot for the Blackhawks and taught her instructors. If they were flying with night vision goggles they would have no peripheral vision and not seen the aircraft until too late to avoid it. Why they were directed to fly there by Air Traffic Control is the question.
Yes, they were just talking about it on Real America’s Voice. Small plane and helicopter. Fatalities.
It was military chopper. Blackhawk. Wondering why it was a Blackhawk in the Roslyn part of Arlington. Very strange.
Chopper was from Ft. Belvoir on a training mission. The base is further south on the Potomac. Helicopters are not supposed to be anywhere near Reagan Airport. They have their own restricted areas around there to fly. This is very strange. Chopper should not have been in those Reagan approaches.

Apparently from Witchita. I’ve watched the video many times. Very strange. Chopper almost tracks the plane like it’s intentional. But that’s not to say it wasn’t an accident. But man; how did both pilots on the chopper not see the plane coming. It looks so obvious.
Every commenter I’ve read so far on multiple sites is saying the same and asking the same question, Bshaw…strange.

Doesn’t look like an accident unless helicopter pilot had maybe a medical event but who knows? Very odd. Who all was on the plane? Who was the helicopter pilot? I’m sure we will all find out after FAA investigates…any guesses how long that will take???
After all the confirmation hearings have concluded.
When was the last time a Blackhawk helicopter flew directly into the path of a commercial airliner in the most closely monitored and secure airspaces on the planet?
And if the fact that the crash over the Potomac wasn’t obviously intentional enough, the MSM all reporting that the “plane collided with the helicopter” as opposed to the exact opposite being confirmed by video within minutes, proves it.

Efforts to encourage implementation of “patriotic education” will need to make careful review of K-12 large ubiquitous hard bound American history and social studies texts published by McGraw hill , as well as the articles published by “Newsela”, which I understand is a McGraw hill affiliate.
I my opinion all McGraw hill publications are replete with innuendo as well blunt statements portraying America in a bad light. Especially with regard to DEI, and abuse of African Americans, indigenous peoples, and non-unionized labor and most importantly the abuses of capitalism. McGraw hill seems to advocate Equality of outcome instead of equality of opportunity.
In my view This indoctrination by McGraw hill publications occurs every year of K-12, .kinder through high school.
I don’t feel McGraw hill gives adequate treatment of American achievements or ideals.

The airplane was on a perfect and routine line of approach to the airport. The helicopter was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time. It is a CLEAR NIGHT, the lights on the plane were blazing, why didn’t the helicopter go up or down, or turn. Why didn’t the control tower tell the helicopter what to do instead of asking if they saw the plane. This is a bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented. NOT GOOD!!!
