We expected delays but not at this level and not this quickly. I hope something radical is planned to prevent a confirmation log jam. Granted, President Trump is dealing with the most corrupt elected body in the history of the civilized world, a.k.a. the U.S. Senate. Sometimes I feel like I need to take a shower after just thinking about the place.
President Trump has 77 million Americans standing by and ready to send a message to the U.S. Senate if asked. But with an 80% reelection rate for incumbents, sometimes I wonder if they give a damn what their constituents think.
20% under “normal” conditions aren’t re-elected…with a large, angry, fed-up public that number could easily double.

Possibly related – suddenly FeMa extends the period of housing assistance and changes the rules to give folks enough notice to have a chance at figuring out what they are going to do next.
FEMA has announced it will extend its housing assistance to #WNC victims of Hurricane Helene through MEMORIAL DAY!
FEMA also confirms it will give at LEAST a 21-day notice to those who are no longer eligible for FEMA housing assistance.
Another potential plus for all those suffering in the Appalachia areas – PDJT will be visiting there Friday. There may be an announcement involved…
