Appearing on the increasingly insufferable former news channel, both Senator Mullin and Senator Hegseth now see an increasingly optimistic future for Defense Secretary nominee, Pete Hegseth.
Hegseth’s hearing clearly showcased a worn-out playbook of resistance being deployed by the Democrats in the Senate. Their foot stomping was childish and is increasingly positioning the Democrat Party as irrelevant in the larger picture of U.S politics. Perhaps we are finally beyond the end of an error. We can hope.
.
In the larger dynamic of American government, which more people now thankfully see as a grand pantomime, and while Mullin and Cotton are on the right side -at least optically- of the Hegseth nomination, their alignment with a perspective that government provides some larger value in the lives of Americans is still grossly out of place.
The mechanisms, systems and institutions of U.S. government, must be severely unmeshed from defining and influencing permitted activity by the American people. The bureaucracy must be destroyed, if we are to have any reemergence of liberty. This is a core issue now visible in the eyes of an awakened majority.
While I am thankful that Markwayne Mullin and Tom Cotton support the removal of the Marxism mindset from the military, that is only one facet of the larger governmental outlook that needs to be confronted.

This video meme encapsulates the contemporary American zeitgeist that resulted from elevating women to “equality” in all spheres.
Funny, but also, not.
Repeated here for the people self-hypnotized into delirium:
We are witnessing the results of a flailing, failed matriarchy.
Youths oppress My people and women rule over them.
Isaiah 3:15
In my Bibles this is Isaiah 3:12.
Just imagine the total devastation if Department of Defense loosed this weapon on Putin and Xi. They must be shaking in their boots.
Yeah, from laughing so hard they can’t breath.
🤣😂
Senator Hegseth?
Must have run out off coffee long before 1 am post time.
I don’t think many of Dems are irrelevant.
A lot of them have important positions needed on 5/8” rope at federal prisons and forts as counterweights.
Hopefully, as you indicate there is some degree of these 2 actually changing course…or maybe,
their phones are lighting up with folks telling them, “we are tired of the bullsh!t and we have zero tolerance for your crap. You either vote to confirm him or go ahead and switch parties like you have wanted to all along.”
Totally agree. Thank you, Sundance.
Agree with your take on both. Cotton either sees the handwriting on the wall, or he is holding his fire for others. Not sure which.
As for Mullin… Like I said in the other thread, I am curious whether President Trump spelled out reality to them in their meeting as I said in the other thread.
Mullin seems to be turning a 180. Still not to be trusted, but perhaps someone showing some spine is finally contagious.
‘ While I am thankful that Markwayne Mullin and Tom Cotton support the removal of the Marxism mindset from the military, that is only one facet of the larger governmental outlook that needs to be confronted. ‘
The Marxism is being replaced by fascism:
“Public-private partnership” aka “public-private collaboration”, aka “corporatism”, is de facto fascism, and it is building the surveillance/police state.
“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.”
― Benito Mussolini
Summary:
A fascist police state is taking shape right before our eyes, and nobody is stopping it. Everybody is fixating on the apparent receding of the identity class Marxism aka wokeism. Was this the Plan all along?
Corporatism is what we’ve had for a very long time and the Marxism was and is just an effort to make it more authoritarian and to replace the family with The State.
Watch the first 45 seconds of this:
And all of this:
Yes, this was the plan. The useful idiots of wokism, global warmingism et al are here to provide an opposition front, a distraction, while the Constitution is slowly destroyed. They’ll be swept into serf status, same as us, when this goes live.
It’s further along in Europe.
And here is just part of what it will take to reverse this in a sustained way.
Only a Collapse and Total Reboot Can Fix Our Bloated Government System
NOVEMBER 14, 2016

Excerpt:
Conservatives keep voting for candidates thinking that they will fix the bugs, but let’s look at what this approach would take. In one form or another we will have to:
1) Elect at least a generation of conservative supermajorities in both chambers of congress. They have to be supermajorities because parliamentary rules allow for political minority actions to stop simple majority legislation.
2) We will have to elect a string of conservative presidents to work with the conservative congresses. We can’t have activist presidents who govern by executive actions in order to bypass congress. [which was how Trump v1.0 accomplished MOST of what he accomplished; same for v2.0 – W]
3) True constitutionalists must be nominated and approved to the Supreme Court.
4) Conservatives will have to control at least 37 state legislatures, because sooner or later we will need to make constitutional amendments.
Of course this will not happen even if there is some kind of collapse because we live in an easily propagandized attention deficit political idiocracy. This was seen, as if more proof was needed, by Trump barely winning the popular vote against a well documented Marxist/Maoist duo of idiots who supported the castration of children, abortion up to birth, release of criminals without bail, open borders, and who incited intentionally divisive Maoist cultural revolution effects (DEI, wokism, etc.)
“Elect at least a generation of conservative supermajorities in both chambers of congress. They have to be supermajorities because parliamentary rules allow for political minority actions to stop simple majority legislation.”
They’ve made sure that won’t happen. Click to enlarge:

What little I watched (could tolerate) of the spittle-covered Dem harridans yesterday was so screechy and ear-throbbingly awful, I was expecting them to melt like the witch in the Wizard of Oz.
Not a good look. No sane person could relate to them. No New Democrats were made yesterday.
Dem women give women a really bad name!
It was brutal ti listen to. I had to turn them off when they had their turn at trying to tear him down. As bad as these Karen’s were, Tim Kaine was the biggest scumbag of the day.
When enough people realize that Greta Thunberg is a mush head, that AOC is a lame brain for claiming climate change will end the world in 12 years, (down to 6 years now), that the North Pole didn’t melt by 2013 as Al Gore predicted in 2009, (making him both a mush head and a lame brain), and that those bombers turning into butterflies that Joni Mitchell dreamed about in the 60’s never actually happened and that most sane women would rather get married and raise a family than engage in hand to hand combat in Afghanistan….then wokeism will crush itself under the suffocating weight of its own political correctness.

“Recovering Neocon” Hegseth Pledges “Peace Through Strength”
https://thenewamerican.com/us/politics/recovering-neocon-hegseth-pledges-peace-through-strength/
Thanks Colkitto. If that article is true, Hegseth does seem to have some problematic views. Calls himself a recovering neocon yet seems to be a cheerleader for Ukraine.
“Hegseth does seem to have some problematic views”
Which makes him less MAGA and, therefore, more likely to be confirmed.
Great article!
I watched a few clips of some of the democrat Senator “womynz” on GWP and have to say I believe they did more good for conservatism than for their Marxism. Hysterical, irrational derangement is not a good look to show the public but it is an accurate one.
Almost worth the headache watching those clips gave me, time for an acetaminophen and bed.
Reason and logic finding sunlight?
It’s funny to me how different the perspectives of the Hegseth hearing are. I turned on CBS news yesterday afternoon, and based on their coverage, one might think Hegseth burst into tears and crawled away from the hearing room with strips torn from his buttocks after his weaknesses and shortcomings were brutally exposed by the valiant socialists.
None of the other socialist propaganda outlets were covering the hearing, which told me all I needed to know about how it went.
(Yes, I said CBS. I cut the cable last summer and only have Roku, which offers several nationwide socialist news channels and local news from a bunch of big cities which I completely ignore. I’ve never been so well-informed in my life.)
I might be in the minority here, but from a 360 deg view of President Trump’s Art of the Deal, I envision a CONgress weaned off of negative foreign influences and investments. If so, this signals a YUGE turnabout.
By facilitating America first initiatives through billionaires like Musk and Thiel, Trump gives Republicans a brand new trough they can belly up to. If President Trump can’t change hearts and minds, he can at least create political alliances through the buy-in angle.
As President Trump dangles new carrots to replace those that do not serve his America First agenda, we may see more CONgressmen breaking ranks with the status quo.
Except Musk and Thiel are not Americans, I believe they’re South Africans. Not a good look to be running our country as supposedly America First. Not a good look at all.
Good point. How many American billionaires are willing to invest in America First? Maybe they need a bit more coaxing?
But that aside, as long as our CONgress sees *their* payoff, they will get behind America first initiatives no matter which billionaires are advancing them.
I am ecstatic over Mr. Hegseth’s “performance” during his Confirmation hearing.
Crazy Mazie Hirono
Elizabeth “the Loon” Warren- Seriously, how is this woman allowed to exist outside of rooms that do not have padding on the walls?
The Insane Tim Kaine
Tammy Duckworth? She’s not all that she is quacked up to be
Jagoff Reed- He goes to show how the mentally incompetent can also wind up in the Senate.
Da Nang Dick- Thank you for your dis-service sir
Kirsten Gillebrand- What a raving lunatic!!
If we all did not know any better, we might believe that the Dems/Left go out of their way to appoint their stupidest Senators to these committees. Just like the Faux Biden administration- Did you ever see such an incompetent bunch of people in a President’s Cabinet. This is 1 Cabinet where I would seek to close the door & lock it for the entire run of the Faux Biden commiseration so that those “Ship of Fools” could never come out & see the light of day.
In closing I am concerned to note that 2 people that I am fond of following: Gregg Kelley & Mark Levin are at odds regarding supporting Mr. Hegseth.
Levin supports all of Trump’s appointments regardless of how he (Levin) feels about them. His reasoning is that President Trump should be entitled to who he wants on this team. If any do not work out, Levin is confident that Trump will clean them out & replace them.
Kelley, on the other hand, is concerned that Hegseth’s “payoffs” for his “affairs” makes him susceptible to black mail & is NOT supporting Hegseth.
I guess we will just have to let this play itself out to see who ends up being right.
I could never make it through one of these confirmations. I find myself saying “I’m sorry Senator, but I’m just too old to suffer fools and their foolish questions.”
It’s all just theater anyway to give the masses the illusion that they are in control of anything other than the facade. That and the calming effect of a disappearing middle class keeps the natives from revolting.
Meanwhile, a surveillance state is established to make it impossible for any significant or effective revolt to be carried out via any means. See the Tucker Carlson interview on Joe Rogan about how pols are deathly afraid of the 17 US intel agencies and Five Eyes (as officially confirmed by a Senator’s ‘six ways from Sunday’ comment) and the government by blackmail video by Epoch Times.
Plumbing the Depths
How the Gears Turn

Intro:
Common delusions notwithstanding, the United States, I submit, is not a democracy—by which is meant a system in which the will of the people prevails. Rather it is a curious mechanism artfully designed to circumvent the will of the people while appearing to be democratic. Several mechanisms accomplish this. [he details nine of them; an excellent column, BTW – W]

Testing Theories of American Politics: Elites, Interest Groups, and Average Citizens [Princeton University, 2014]
https://www.cambridge.org/core/services/aop-cambridge-core/content/view/62327F513959D0A304D4893B382B992B/S1537592714001595a.pdf/testing-theories-of-american-politics-elites-interest-groups-and-average-citizens.pdf
Excerpts:
A great deal of empirical research speaks to the policy influence of one or another set of actors, but until recently it has not been possible to test these contrasting theoretical predictions against each other within a single statistical model. We report on an effort to do so, using a unique data set that includes measures of the key variables for 1,779 policy issues.
Multivariate analysis indicates that economic elites and organized groups representing business interests have substantial independent impacts on U.S. government policy, while average citizens and mass-based interest groups have little or no independent influence. The results provide substantial support for theories of Economic-Elite Domination and for theories of Biased Pluralism, but not for theories of Majoritarian Electoral Democracy or Majoritarian Pluralism.
In the United States, our findings indicate, the majority does not rule—at least not in the causal sense of actually determining policy outcomes.
When a majority of citizens disagrees with economic elites or with organized interests, they generally lose. Moreover, because of the strong status quo bias built into the U.S. political system [that describes the overwhelming influence of The Blob – W], even when fairly large majorities of Americans favor policy change, they generally do not get it.
To be sure, this does not mean that ordinary citizens always lose out; they fairly often get the policies they favor, but only because those policies happen also to be preferred by the economically-elite citizens [and their Blob – W] who wield the actual influence.
Mullin C 77%
Cotton B 81%
Why does no one ever interview the 26 D and F-rated RINO Senators? F-rated Thune doesn’t count as he’s as bad of a wriggling snake as Turtle.
I think that the problem is much more severe with respect the reputation of the government institutions. I hate the senators. I said it: I hate them.
I hate senator Lankford for destroying our Constitution by demanding 702’s in order to implement their dystopian surveillance scheme upon us. Senator Warren is a b—ch from hell and you can write a book about her administrative crimes. I love my country. I despise the traitors who sit in these chambers. No, I will not attack anybody. I am not advocating for violence. I want to work in a peaceful manner to bring this country back.
I honestly believe that the level of contempt directed at them cannot be overestimated. It is not even partially comprehended by the a-holes in capital hill.
Only now do We the People are beginning to understand what they have done to us and the world.
Look at they are doing now in LA. They are intentionally burning it down to make way for AI controlled nightmare, which is known as a smart city.
“A professional politician is a professionally dishonorable man. In order to get anywhere near high office he has to make so many compromises and submit to so many humiliations that he becomes indistinguishable from a streetwalker.” – H. L. Mencken
Truths come to mind listening to congress. !) None are do what they want but what they are told. 2) They cheated to get elected and to be able to stay. 3) They are not true Americans and have low value as well as brain power.
My non pretending MAGA mind informed me that Repeal and Replace would never be applied in sufficient quantity, or duration to fumigate the Swamp.
MAGA will need to fumigate with lots of Wreck and Ruin.
Their foot stomping was childish and is increasingly positioning the Democrat Party as irrelevant in the larger picture of U.S politics.
Utopian, statist, collectivists never give up. They change their stripes, they change their spots, but it always remains a backward push to totalitarianism or nihilism.
Cotton was helpful here. But it’s always a limited helpfulness with him.
