Why would property tax assessments go up when houses burn down? In a flood zone, the insurance goes up but property values aren’t as high as surrounding neighborhoods, and property taxes reflect that.
I think they want to be able to tax the houses that people tear down an existing home to construct, at a much higher rate than the house that was replaced, or something like that.
Under Prop 13 you’re only allowed a certain amount of remodeling before you lose your protection and your assessment goes to full market value.
If you’ve owned your house for a while, under Prop 13 your assessment can only increase by rate of inflation, regardless of what the comparable house values are. If you lose your Prop 13 your assessment goes to market value.

Trump Encouraged everyone to come to DC in the wake of extremely strong rhetoric that the election was stolen. I still believe to this day that 2020 was rigged beyond belief and I was one of the many millions of Americans who felt enraged and disenfranchised that my vote was stolen.
I also had a desire to go to that rally as well in the hopes that maybe Pence would do the right thing on behalf the American people. The last 4 years under Biden is exactly what I thought it was going to be, and we all knew that the moment the election was stolen. We were hoping against hope that Pence would just give us a chance to bring it to justice.
And Trump himself was asking that as well, and asked the American people to come for support on January 6th.
The truth about what happened that day never made to mainstream. And the truth is, I could have just as easily ended up in jail by being deceived by the many many FBI and CIA operatives that day.
Trump needs to let the full truth come out about that day. And he needs to pardon everyone indicted and then indict and throw in jail all of the operatives who deceived the American people.
And he needs to compensate them for the damages to their family and personal lives.

There is still a lot of concern that I have since Sundance has pointed out the serious dangers of the high tech people in Trump’s administration. JD Vance is a crucial lynchpin in that high tech group.
I have also concerns about him from the standpoint of his Big Pharma investments in the mRNA platform. This is purely genetic therapy technology, it is in no way vaccine technology. More…Cassidy Hutchinson was not the only witness who gave perjured testimony to Liz Cheney’s/Bennie Thompson’s J6 committee. One of the policemen, Harry Dunn, gave his testimony then was propped up as a Democrat candidate for a congressional seat from Maryland. Steve Baker’s reporting was one of the key factors that caused that guy to lose in the primary.

Many are not off the rails. It is mostly new psyop mind manipulator overloading the site with the so-called MAGA narratives and feeling. Fakers and nevertrumpers thinking this is the moment gonna take Trump down. The game is attempting to create chaos in our minds with arguing off point. When one argument gets won another is thrown out with a new premise which means no agreement will be found and all are talking in circles.

I get what you’re saying, but I’m not going to smash windows and destroy property just because some FBI or CIA goonie is trying to work everyone up. I personally agree with this position; however, I’ve long felt no one should’ve gone into the Capitol — they all knew it was wrong. I haven’t watched the video’s but I’ve heard mentioned that some where being guided in to get away from the dangerous situation, they should’ve never been charged, period.
Insurrection is a bridge too far as well, especially after the “Summer of Floyd” peaceful riots. The was no intention of anyone there to overthrow the government. All anyone wanted was for the shenanigans to be examined: the Uniparty wasn’t even comfortable with honest challenges that were simply asking to delay certification so evidence of the fraud could be presented.
Anyone who didn’t destroy property should get a full pardon.
Anyone who did destroy property should get the enhanced charges (insurrection related) wiped clean and sentence commuted – they served their time and then some, especially compared to the Antifa rioters and looters.
Agree that anyone currently charged should have those charges dropped.
The magnetic doors were opened from the inside and protestors were waved inside! They did not destroy property! They were more like tourists taking selfies and even talking to police. No one told them to leave and no one told them they were not allowed in. Why were they let in? Because the FBI/Antifa plants failed at starting a riot so they decided to entrap them by inviting them in.
Being held without bail or trial is about as un-American as you can get. I don’t trust Vance. He’ll have to earn my trust.
All the security camera footage take on 6 January 2020 has to be released.

I think Vance might be signaling that the true insurrectionists, the FBEYE and the SEEIA plants are the ones who will be prosecuted. And the true innocents will be released and protected.

Having listened to his actual statement, I have no problem with it, and assuming he speaks for President Trump, I am fine with that as an official position on the J6 prisoners.
The”gray area” he mentions is those who were defending themselves against innappropriate violence from the Police.
And, there were provacatuers that should not be pardoned.

Shannon is a sly one to be watched when she gives her opinions on President Trump and MAGA, OR when she is the “Interviewer”. Be careful and pay attention on her wording…she is NOT a Trump/MAGA supporter not by a long-shot.
Bottom line: No one knows, with any certainty, today what will occur after President Trump and V.P. Vance take their Oaths of Office.
I refuse to cast aspersions on what the Trump Administration may or may not do on any topic 8 days before they are in office. From my limb here in this treehouse, it’s a waste of words and time.
(And I really don’t care what VP Vance’s wife wore New Year’s Eve….it was a dress with a pattern….that’s earth shattering?)
So far, I have not objected to any answers the President-Elect and VP-Elect have responded with because they are not really going to KNOW what is going on until they enter the White House. At this stage, most if not all discussions are based on many hypotheticals; which takes me no where in reality.
They certainly are NOT going to give away their plans at this early stage.

All in all, I’m sitting here just watching, listening and waiting.

I haven’t had one of those in five years ever since I switched my fast food allegiance to Burger King. I agree Abigail. Anyone who has been paying attention to PDJT all these years, should know this is how he operates. He’s smarter than all of them put together in the media, thank goodness.
