Are there any updates on the SCOTUS Case for sentencing?
Has anyone seen the reply from NY corrupt team? Their reply was due this morning.

I would lean towards SCOTUS staying. My gut is the NY Appeals Court denied knowing SCOTUS would intervene – that way they don’t “look bad” to their fellow NY lawyer types.
On WarRoom Julie Kelly said it was in Sotomayor’s hands. She didn’t even believe presidents have immunity, so it doesn’t look promising.
And no decision until the night before means everyone has to travel regardless.
Sotomayor can say no but then President Trump can ask for the entire court to make a decision.
Sotomayor knows that so she might sit down with the other judges and see what the lay of the land is before making a fool of herself!

Right now, the pure horror of the situation is to realize that arsonists set … not only the first fires, but also several others subsequent to it. Maybe they do want to burn down the city, and all of its famous monuments like the “Hollywood Sign.”

Does it really surprise anyone that the SCOTUS denied putting a stay on the fraudulent sentencing of a fraudulent case involving a fraudulent unlawful enactment of a law that was made for just one person? By their decision, the Supreme Court has now ratified the notion that – for example – the Governor of Utah cannot now assume office because he has already been sentenced to 143 years in prison by twenty-three other States. Very certainly the President cannot assume office because he has been sentenced in fourteen.
Obviously, “Article Three has failed.”
The correct step forward, now, is once again left to “one individual.” To simply refuse to appear.

With regard to the California fires–now there is video footage that exposes the raw and total destruction of block after block, neighborhood after neighborhood–I don’t know how to think about how hot the fires were…but what has this done to the infrastructure of those large areas? The gas and power and water hookups, if nothing else. I suppose that both gas and power were completely turned off by the utility companies as things started going up.
The aftermath is going to be open-ended, it seems. Even if (some) individuals have the wherewithal to rebuild out of their own resources, it doesn’t seem like it’s going to be a straightforward project. At all.
Now that a majority of Justices on the Supreme Court just gave the green light to all things Lawfare, it will not surprise me one bit if Judge Merchan rules that President Trump must do jail time for his “crimes,” to be served at the end of his upcoming 4-year term in office.
Sad day for what used to be a nation of law and order.

Merchan is still free to sentence Trump to anything, saying that the situation had changed, e.g., Merchan doesn’t like Trump’s posting on TruthSocial, and claims it shows a lack of remorse or something.
Until sentence is passed, anything can happen.
Why would you even take a truck out in those high winds yesterday?
Why take the trucks out in conditions like that? The dispatchers who are yelling at the drivers to keep moving may be sitting in an office in Arizona or Nebraska or Pennsylvania and have no comprehension of what the conditions are.
During the years we lived in rural Minnesota, we could observe and easily overhear conversations in January or February, at the big local truckstop, between the big rig drivers and their clueless dispatchers who were telling them “get back on the road! Now!” … when it was -35 degrees (F), their fuel was jelling up, and it was 2:30 in the morning.
Just like in government, the trucking industry may have people who don’t understand reality but are in places of authority. More than once we observed truckers literally near tears (on the phone – this was before common use of cell phones) feeling they had no choice but to get out and go.
I really hate it when hardworking, toxic males get pushed to the breaking point. I suspect that is what is happening with some of the truck drivers in those rigs pictured above.
We lived in SoCal for 28 years, and much of that in the Antelope Valley (Palmdale/Lancaster). Almost every summer we had periods of time with winds strong enough to do that to the truckers on Hwy 14….but never 7-8 in a row like this situation. What a mess.
Wish the truckers would just get together and announce a refusal to leave until conditions improve.
That’s nuts to let a fool 100’s of miles away – and apparently with no access to a roads condition report- ordering drivers around.
It’s dangerous for the truckers, and dangerous for anybody else who may be stuck on the road with them.

MAL stays confidential as cases are still pending against two MAL employees, who would be prejudiced by the release. However, “key” congressional leaders will get to see this portion, which will certainly be leaked.
