No, repeal the term limit amendment for Presidents.
The Founding Fathers said “3, co-equal branches of Givernment” and they can NOT be co-equal, if one has literal lifetime appointment (Judiciary) and one has figurative (look at the geriatric leadership of both Houses).
That amendment was passed in the aftermath of FDR passing, should never pass Amendments based on emotion of the moment.
It wasn’t emotion. It was planned. These guys have been doing this for about 111 years.
Unfortunately, the 25th Amendment as enacted places the responsibility with the President’s Cabinet. And, it defines nothing that would compel them to act.
I think that the entire issue of “term limits,” “age limits,” and “what the 25th was intended to do” will have to be addressed with a brand-new Amendment.
