There are many people who only became aware of Elon Musk after he dropped Ron DeSantis and took up a position in support of President Trump.
Most of those people do not have a reference for Musk complying with the platform control demands of Brazil, France and Turkey [Durov (Telegram), and Pavlovski (Rumble) did not].
Most of those Pro-Elon people also do not have a reference for Musk claiming he and his legal team did not know former FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker was the legal counsel for Twitter at the time of the purchase, until after independent journalist Matt Taibbi was researching the Twitter Files and complained about Baker filtering information. {GO DEEP} Musk fired Baker, and eventually, Musk kicked Taibbi out and shut down the Twitter File reviews.
Additionally, almost all of the Musk supporters do not know about Elon Musk giving the DOJ/FBI user data of all MAGA accounts following Donald Trump on the Twitter platform. {Go Deep}
Taken as a whole, this is a small portion of the context that explains my long-standing issues with Elon Musk, who has now seemingly achieved demigod status as an untouchable elite in the orbit of President Trump according to those who support him.
The issue with the transmission of user data to the DOJ/FBI is not an issue of Elon Musk complying with a subpoena; the bigger issue was Musk simultaneously telling the public that Twitter user data was secure and would not be compromised by government.
At the same time Musk was saying the platform and user data would be secure from government intrusion, he was sending the FBI/DOJ all of the metadata for Trump supporters on Twitter. That was/is a big issue that many now pretend not to remember.
To be fair, at the time of his public statements, Musk was not supporting Donald Trump. In fact, he was intending to use his platform to elevate the status of his favored candidate, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. As a result, Musk had no motive or intent to impede the effort of the DOJ/FBI targeting of President Trump or his supporters. However, that doesn’t change the reality of what took place.
Setting aside all of the financial issues in/around the purchase of Twitter -which are numerous- the real issue behind the metadata was Musk saying something false; while knowing he was complying with government. This was a point when Musk’s integrity on these matters was revealed.
Beyond the H1B visa issue, this history is part of the reason why many people are concerned about Elon Musk’s proximity and influence with President Donald Trump.
Just as President Trump is likely unaware the full scope of what Pam Bondi did in George Zimmerman case to support a false witness, so too is President Trump likely unaware of Musk’s involvement with the DOJ/FBI to send them MAGA targeting information. Quite simply, there is no one in President Trump’s orbit who would ever share these specific details.
Elon Musk was also an attendee at the 2016, Sea Island summit in Georgia – the original assembly of 54 billionaires who agreed to work together and fund the “stop Trump” movement.

It’s possible to be wrong but not delusional. If Trump wasn’t briefed on these things, then there are much bigger problems here.
As for past behavior predicting future behavior, that is a good maxim as far as it goes. First, it’s not always true, but more important, the question here is, what is that behavior in the AGGREGATE when it comes to Musk. I submit that the overwhelming conclusion from that aggregate is that Musk is a genius of sorts who thinks a lot about what’s best for him and for us and that he is also a self-serving entrepreneur, something that can also be said of Trump.
In a general sense, it’s pretty clear that the Little Tech crew want to be free to do their thing without government intrusion. The idea that any of them, including Musk, are keen on taking over the world and controlling us seems fatuous in the extreme.
Its a logical conclusion that President Trump doesn’t know the full extent of Bondis roll in framing Zimmerman, because if he did he wouldn’t have chosen her as his A.G. nominee.
And likewise, that if he knew of Musks track record, that he would not have ‘married’ him.
Its a reasonable assumption, and disengenous for you to pretend like that isn’t self-evident.

I would say yes. Judging from what I’ve seen from him for almost a decade now, he is slow to make changes unless someone directly stabs him in the back. Said another way, Trump is loyal to a fault.

I read this when Kunstler posted it and, quite frankly, it made me sad to think that in no way can Trump do what he intends during his next 4 years because the current issues are so deep in the US and the world, getting out from under will be impossible for him. I came to the conclusion that only God can change any of it and that will take much prayer and intercession on our part.

However, after the bad experience of Bush senior’s treasonous follow-up to President Reagan’s administrations, the VP isn’t given an automatic special pass to the oval office. The 2025 MAGA movement’s increased depth in addition to its increased width will make for a good group of primary candidates in 2028. It is up to us MAGAs to vet them throughly for pro-American, Constitutional Republic credentials.

Understanding from the beginning that Musk is thoroughly tied to the US government, since his connection with PayPal, I did NOT go back to Twitter after Musk purchased it. My thought was that his diatribe about ‘free speech’ and allowing all those who had been banned from Twitter back on to the platform was the perfect way to get all ‘dissidents’ back on to a platform where they could be surveilled. I never went back, and frankly viewed those who did as naive and should have known better. To be honest, I would also be interested in a deep dive as to how Musk has actually become the ‘richest man in the world’. Nevertheless, I do not trust him, and never will. That being said, I’m also extremely wary of the Trump alignment with Ellison, Theil, etc. I hope that I am just being overly paranoid…..but I fear not.
