For those who walk the deep weeds of internecine politics, we notice there is an influential component of the Sea Island group still at work within the GOP.
The same Republican “conservatives” who voted to suspend the debt ceiling issue for Joe Biden (Chip Roy, Thomas Massie, Nancy Mace et al), refused to stop the issue of the debt ceiling from surfacing during the Donald Trump administration.
At a certain point we must accept there are elements within the republican apparatus who intend to disrupt President Trump even though they present a false face.
The short-term spending bill has punted the issues of government funding into March 2025. The package passed 366-34, with the support of 196 Democrats and 170 Republicans.
The good news is that most of the hidden non-spending aspects were removed in the much shorter CR extension. The provisions which shielded the administrative state, approximately 1,000 pages of self-interested regulation, were removed. However, the debt ceiling conflict will rise again and could potentially present a problem because they will be attached to future legislative negotiations on Trump policy.
The House “Freedom Caucus” is essentially the voice and mechanism for the Sea Island group to disrupt MAGA plans and President Trump’s economic priorities. The Debt Ceiling is their legislative weapon, a false front technical issue to hide the Freedom Caucus intent. They justify standing against Trump by saying “fiscal conservatism”; but in reality, their history shows their vitriol only extends outwardly when Trump is in office.
The Sea Island multinational and banking group (traditional GOP control elements) are the financial backers of these anti-Trump schemes. The origin of their corporate opposition comes from the way they make money, which is not in alignment with the policy of President Trump.
The same group of influential hedge fund managers, billionaires, multinational corporations, banking groups and political operatives on K-Street who do their bidding (Chamber of Commerce, Club for Growth etc.) are/were behind the effort to lift Ron DeSantis. It is easier to reference them simply by saying The Sea Island Group. This is why we see the same names, the Ron DeSantis supporting politicians, voting against the proposals of President Trump.
They do not support the operational intentions of Donald Trump (economic nationalism), and they use “conservative principles” as the justification for their opposition. Quite simply, it is a ruse. I am sick of watching these Deceptive Conservatives create arguments amid the republican base of MAGA support who do not follow the convoluted mechanics of how they use legislation and votes (cloture) to carry out the objectives of the billionaire donor class. CTH was founded in part on this issue. We have outlined these masks for a long time.
(Via NBC) – WASHINGTON — The Republican-controlled House on Friday evening passed a short-term bill to avert a government shutdown … The vote was 366-34, with all opposition coming from Republicans and one member voting present. It capped a tumultuous week in the House that foreshadowed how the new Congress in January might deal with a mercurial Donald Trump back in the White House. A two-thirds vote was needed because the bill came to the floor under a fast-track process.
The legislation now heads to the Senate which must pass it before 12:01 a.m. to avert a shutdown.
The package funds the government at current levels through March 14, and includes $100 billion in disaster aid and a one-year farm bill — while stripping out a debt limit extension demanded by President-elect Trump earlier in the week. (read more)
These funding fights always break down to accepting a crap sandwich amid a buffet of horrible ingredients. They always suck; however, President Trump’s pragmatic optimal solution approach has always been to plough through it with as little of the crap ingredients as possible, while rapidly positioning to have the benefit of his economic policy as fast as possible.
Lastly, understand this with direct seriousness. The House Freedom Caucus (HFC) wants the Debt Ceiling fight. It is a tool they can use so they can impede the economic agenda of President Donald Trump. This same HFC will -eventually- work to STOP the Musk and Ramaswamy DOGE effort to remove the tentacles of big government.
The HFC are anti-Trump, and they will stand aghast shouting “muh principles” when you point it out; they are, unfortunately, assholes.

.
Caption under photo of Johnson reads:
“The house approved a new plan from speaker Mike Johnson that would temporarily fund federal operations and disaster aid, but drops president elect Donald Trump’s demands for a debt limit increase into the new year.”
Wouldn’t it be funny if PDJT actually didn’t want the debt limit to be increased, but knew if he asked for it, the uniparty would want to deny him that. So, it is like Br’er rabbit being thrown into the briar patch.
” their history shows their vitriol only extends outwardly when Trump is in office.”
I haven’t noticed it much for Massie, but Roy and Mace have been getting absolutely hammered on X by several on their past anti-Trump, anti-J6, pro St. George of Fentanyl statements.
In fact, I never knew Chip Roy once worked for John Cornyn. Now it all makes sense.
Dang. “In fact, I never knew Chip Roy once worked for John Cornyn. Now it all makes sense.”
Cernovich and Posobiec have singled out Roy and Mace so it will be harder to get away with their duplicity this time without risking a primary challenge.
Roy and Mace lashing back at Cernovich and Posobiec without refuting what they posted was not a good look.
At least they didn’t completely melt down like Dan Crenshaw did with Catturd.
Too funny:

Speaking of Eye Socket…
Just shows yet again that he doesn’t understand a damn thing about the Constitution – or more likely simply doesn’t care about it due to his WEF funding…
I prefer Eyepatch McCain.
The Amendments of the Constitution ARE Absolute.
This dissing of the rights of the people enshrined in the Constitution – and all of the Amendments – where usually it’s the Democrats that use the phrase “the power of (insert right granted in the Bill of Rights, whether speech or to bear arms) are not absolute” is something I’ve heard being seeded into the political discourse ever since the great one became President;
sad to see a ‘Republican’ pick up and begin using that phrase, seeding it into the minds of those so hypnotized to their smart phones they have no idea their minds are being formatted into believing that trope.
Yes they are Bessie – even in the midst of a “pandemic.”
Cernovich did…
Cernovich?? He’s a complete fraud. That dude HATES Trump.
He’s a shameless grifter and had been since gamergate.
Chip Roy also worked for Ted Cruz…dig deeper.
Ooof. I believe he also wanted Ken Paxton impeached.
Yes he did.
He did
That is absolutely why I could never believe a thing out of his mouth. Tell Trump that Roy is even “supporting” crypto now. Trump and his team needs to get on this subterfuge.
I have a friend that told me here in Texas, living in his district, that the only reason he supports Roy is because of his positive stance on crypto. (He is a democrat).
Trump has to understand the levels of deceit that Roy will go to.
He needs to be primaried. I will never forgive him for going after Paxton. NEVER.
And I used to live in his district.
That’s Chip Soy according to PDJT.
Old Roy dog biscuits, cheap and smelly
Chips a’Roy was a very early DeSanctus supporter.

Texas is a blue state (Lyndon Johnson, Ann Richards) that often votes red.
I disagree. While the big cities vote blue, once we get election/ballot security under control, as well as transport the illegals out of the state, we’ll see a Yuuge change in election outcomes. It’s all manufactured “Blue”, as “Red” far outnumbers their support.
It has voted blue, back when dems were moderate, but it’s a red state, like the blood running through our veins.
Interesting perspective. In Wyoming we have a freedom caucus and they are an offshoot of the national version. Mostly strong conservatives. The problem is starting to surface though as the national freedom caucus drives policies suggestions our way.
Which means our enemies understand the vital role of State Legislatures, and they are making gains on us, building a beachhead that will no doubt run as MAGA, and once in be imposzible to unseat, as they actualky do all they can to interfere with MAGA.
Excellent! Massie and his ilk aren’t fooling Trump. FYI: Massie volunteered to work with DOGE.
Massie hopes to secrete an excavator to undercut DOGE.
He likes and respects CONgressman who have caused our complete failure for decades?
The forest was shrinking but the trees kept voting for the axe
“But he is endemic of a particular type of congressman that has caused our complete failure for decades. 1/x”
If you are going to quote what Sundance shared you should include the ENTIRE tweet for context.
It’s a 12 part tweet from May 31, 2023.
Note to self: Sometime before 1/3/2025 read up on how Russ Vought explains “Debt Ceiling”. Thanks SD.
Ouch. 😖🥴
Another one bites the dust…..
If they don’t raise the debt ceiling for the President, he can start slashing programs, agencies, departments and use DOGE to do it. He can point out they forced his hand by not raising the ceiling. They have no one to blame but themselves.
It can work to the President’s advantage.
Hope so.
Perhaps this answers my question about Elon and Vivik (below).
Time will tell.
He needs the money right away to fund all the deportations. That’s what they want to slow down.
And the big tax incentives for manufacturing companies.
Too much MAGA economic success will leave the true conservatives (who never conserve anything) as a dying entity.
Conservatism =/= MAGA.
^^^ Important points.
Good points. Also, this explains the so-called “pre-arranged agreement” where the HFC supposedly promised to life the debt ceiling $1.5T in exchange for $2.5T cuts to mandatory spending (ie, medicare and social security).
I’ve been worried about “entitlement cuts” sort of oozing back into some conversations. I get it now. If the HFC actually digs in on entitlement cuts to lift the debt ceiling — and if it gets any oxygen — well that yanks us back to the 2010 hellhole of Boehner/Obama style “grand bargain” debates where every scenario under consideration is about how much we can make the country suck and immiserate the citizenry.
I also see now why Trump so quickly targeted Roy. Trump is on this.
never let a good crisis {problem} go to waste.
I hope you are totally correct! Plan A — raise debt ceiling. Plan B — don’t raise the debt ceiling…then slash, slash, slash agencies and departments. I love it! The country will love it — D.C., not so much. What’s not to love!?
Verifying this by asking Google AI:
Has the debt ceiling ever been suspended?
Currently, the debt ceiling has been suspended altogether as of June 3, 2023, when U.S. president Joe Biden signed the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023 into law. This ended the debt-ceiling crisis that began on January 19, 2023, and the suspension will remain in effect until January 2, 2025.
Right. Remember, the SC was clear that the entire executive branch works for the executive and are at-will employees. So the president is at liberty to fire any or all of that branch as he wishes.
Just one example: during the Mueller debacle Pres Trump was told that if he fires anyone he would be “obstructing justice.” That was bullshit – and those that told him knew it.
There are a lot of appointed Senior Executive Service (SES) employees that need to be removed. However, they enjoy very strong job protection mechanisms. SES positions are career appointments, which means that SES employees can only be removed for misconduct, neglect of duty, or malfeasance. They can appeal their removal. They are meant to be shielded from political influence.
I wonder how the Supreme Court decision will affect the SES dynamic. Fun times ahead.
I like it. Would really turn the tables on that bunch.
Well , this ole boy thinks the left is getting played on a large scale and they aren’t able to figure it out ( probably won’t ) . PDJT will know exactly which way all the critters lean before he remakes office . 😁😆👍
Retakes , not remakes . I understand spell check ; but I don’t understand why I have to edit it along with everything else .
There is an edit feature, right? That you can use on your initial post …
Primary them.
Easier said than done.
Tally up recent attempts, say since the Tea Party, of successful vs unsuccessful attempts, and without doing the research I can tell you many more unsuccessful than successful.
The State Republicon Party Executive Committee PROTECTS their incumbent Republican (RINO) Senators and Representatives against being primaried, and they have all sorts of ways to tio the scales to advantage the Incumbent, and sabatouging the challenger atrempting to unseat them in the
primary.
Sayimg “Primary them” is like saying “Single day, paper ballots, voter I.D. no mail out etc.”
Unless you first change the makeup of the R State Party Executive committee, you will NEVER achieve election integrity, cause they like the system just the way it is, as it enables them to control who is elected, rather than their “base” who they hate.
Exactly right. I have watched the state level GOP apparatus eliminate citizen voting during a primary to get rid of a turncoat House of Representatives member who was voting with Nancy Pelosi. The state GOP held a caucus and voted on who the RNC wanted to stick into the targeted House seat. Their choice showed up on the November ballot and the incumbent members did not.
While this was all explained to me as “for a good cause” ……..the ends never justify the means do they? A select mostly un-elected group chose the House member for that district not the voters.
Exactly — sounds exactly like Republicans shenanigans in NC.
… and in Georgia [Kemp Kountry].
We just primaried Bob Good, VA’s 5th congressional district. We fired him. He was Freedom Caucus chair.
We elected John McGuire. We will be watching him closely. Praying he doesn’t give in to the swamp!
This is the second congressman we have fired in 6 years. One-term Denver Riggleman, followed now by two-term Bob Good.
No joke — this was a very hard fought and painfully won victory. But we did it.
The 5th district party committees were nearly all for Good. McGuire ignored the committees and campaigned to the regular people who Bob Good had ignored and insulted for 2 years.
They key to booting Good and Riggleman was a massive sunlight campaign over time. Relentlessly hitting every social media, print media, radio, etc.
People easily saw Riggleman (2018-2020) as a rat because, 2 months after taking office, he was pushing hard for huge increases in foreign workers. Not America First. BTW after we fired him, he went on to help Pelosi and the J6 committee.
Good was harder because he cloaked himself with faux sanctimonious Christianity. He was amazingly arrogant and nasty towards constituents and just about everyone. We exposed Good’s nasty hubris and his being a true Never Trumper. A Cruz then DeSantis endorser, Bob crossed Trump big time. VA 5 is Trump country. Trump endorsed McGuire very late but by that time most everyone knew that McGuire was a strong Trump supporter and Good was lying that he loved Trump.
If you are willing to really dedicate yourself to evicting the rats, then just do it!!

Here is the complete list of the 38 House Republicans who voted against the continuing resolution (CR) on December 19, 2024:
Aaron Bean (Florida)Andy Biggs (Arizona)Josh Brecheen (Oklahoma)Tim Burchett (Tennessee)Eric Burlison (Missouri)Kat Cammack (Florida)Michael Cloud (Texas)Andrew Clyde (Georgia)Eli Crane (Arizona)John Curtis (Utah)Jeff Duncan (South Carolina)Russ Fulcher (Idaho)Bob Good (Virginia)Paul Gosar (Arizona)Doug Lamborn (Colorado)Debbie Lesko (Arizona)Nancy Mace (South Carolina)Thomas Massie (Kentucky)Rich McCormick (Virginia)Cory Mills (Florida)Alex Mooney (West Virginia)Ralph Norman (South Carolina)Chip Roy (Texas)David Schweikert (Arizona)Scott Perry (Pennsylvania)Keith Self (Texas)Victoria Spartz (Indiana)Tom Tiffany (Wisconsin)Beth Van Duyne (Texas)Morgan Luttrell (Texas)Nathaniel Moran (Texas)Blake Moore (Utah)Greg Lopez (Colorado)Andy Ogles (Tennessee)Matt Rosendale (Montana)Wesley Hunt (Texas)Doug Lamborn (Colorado)Scott Perry (Pennsylvania)
Sad to see Marcus Luttrell’s little brother, also a vet, on that list.
wow. that’s a lot of people who I thought were the good guys. My eyes are WIDE OPEN now.
They aren’t the sharpest knives in the drawer. Maybe some are well-meaning idiots who bought into that ‘conservative’ crap.
No, these “true conservatives” know who funds them. And they know they voted against Trump’s bill.
In a moment of candor, MTG actually said, on camera that EVERY member of Congress, all 535, are compromised and need to be replaced.
I believe it was on the Tucker Carlson podcast.
There are a quite a few vets on that list, and many names are quite disappointing to see. The interesting one missing is Crenshaw, he always enjoys screwing us over. Clearly he isn’t in their club.
What was the threat? No money?
He had constituents to service.
Eye-Patch MaCain is the turd that keeps on giving. He needs to be primaried.
Porn Patch Possum.
Eye-Patch McStain?
Dan Crenshaw is a punk who worships at the orifice of Klaus Schwab.
Speaker Johnson isn’t going to show all his cards in one vote for all of us to see.
Just enough to do the job without exposing the whole RINO crew.
Watch the votes. They alternate who gets exposed and who stays hidden. Makes it harder to spot ‘em and label them definitively. And they are VERY aware of this, too.
Dan Crenshaw….
…the “male” Adam Kitzinger.
no he is not male at all .. he’s a pu**y
I have received Paul Gosar’s weekly email for years. I am so disappointed in him or maybe just myself for thinking he wanted what is best for America. I unsubscribed and wanted to email him as to my reason but he does not take emails out of his district. Since I live in Texas, I think it is time to leave a recording on each of the Texas representatives phones in DC. Of the Texas names listed, how many are connected to the Bush family?
Et tu, Andy Biggs?
I do not believe it wise to lump all of the 38 into the same basket of deplorables. There are some honorable among them, who may be voting as their constituents directed them to. That is what they are supposed to do, isn’t it? If the the constituents believe the national debt is the most important single issue, then they expect their Congressional Representative to vote against raising the ceiling, period. It is not a complex issue for them, and their votes count, also.
This is another reason why I thought the left caved. Biden saying he was going send another 1.7 billion to Ukraine.
Kinda hard to complain about starving federal bureaucrats when their boss is sending billions to Ukraine.
Insurrectionists.
Thanks for breaking that down, Sundance. Unfortunately, the Decepticons in both the House and Senate have, and are continuing, to fool a lot of people. Regardless, I have faith in Almighty God. Whether or not he wants this country restored under President Trump, I have no way of knowing. My faith remains in Him nonetheless.
Roger that and AMEN
Seems an awful lot of trouble to go to, if he doesn’t.
And maybe its not soley up to HIM?
WE can all see this as a great ,….exposure, exposing so much that has been rotten, and EVIL in our World for so long.
Ultimately, as he gave us free wil, isn’t it up to US whether this country and World are restored?
Sundance’s post begs an unanswered question, with a preface….
Trump wanted the debt ceiling increase. But….
Musk and Vivik worked to kill the original CR, yet they both UNDOUBTEDLY knew what Trump wanted, and in so doing gave a LOT of political cover for the Sea Island RINOs to vote against it.
If Musk and/or Vivik are NOT who they represent themselves as being, it would spell BIG trouble for this administration down the line.
Question is….
Can they be trusted in light of the above?
Trust, but verify.
This is quite a production with a lot of people playing their roles and nice operatic touches- like the picture (stacks of paper symbolizing the contrasting bills). Or J.D. Vances’s dramatic, stern march to the speaker’s office (with cameras in tow). It’s all very scripted.
Think the cameras are on him most of the time now. Doubt he’s part of the scripted stuff. Visual representation of the massive vs slimmed down bill went a long way to show regular people what they were trying to do. Why do you claim it’s scripted?
Lets just say it bears a strong resemblance to reality tv, or wrestling. And Vance is kind of hamming it up.
First bill (the one they killed) did nothing about debt ceiling.
Second one did what Trump wanted (extended it) and cut out most offensive stuff Decepticons tanked it.
Third one did not extend it but cut out most of other offensive stuff.
Trust has ‘us’ in it but not ‘them’.
I don’t trust Musk or Vivek. But If the Sea Island Rinos are disguised as the HFC — they didn’t need any cover re debt ceiling. Voting against raising the debt ceiling is their brand.
Anyway lifting the debt ceiling wasn’t part of the original CR that Musk/Vivek killed. It was in the second CR Johnson put on the floor, which went down due to no support from dems or the republican hold-outs. That vote clarified who Trump’s up against. Elon encouraged Congress to pass it.
Third CR was essentially the same as the second, but without the debt ceiling part. The fact it immediately passed overwhelmingly tells us just how important the debt ceiling leverage is to BOTH dems and the HFC, as far as obstructing and stopping Trump and protecting Uniparty benefactors/interests.
Even if Trump was never going to get the debt ceiling lift with this CR (which I don’t think he was) — yet again he was many steps ahead in asking for it. Battle lines are drawn. Trump knew the HFC’s true colors — now we ALL now. The dynamics of this vote puts them on blast. Trump brilliantly put it to them straight – lift it now or it’ll impede my agenda. Nowhere for a Trump republican to hide on that one.
I don’t think the HFC truly realizes the ground shift. They think they ARE the base as “principled conservatives” and can keep pulling this crap and no one will call BS. It seems to have worked in the Tea Party era. They probably think it’s the same with Trump/MAGA.
The HFC members may have done fine with primary challenges so far — but they seem overly smug. They’re flushed out now with Trump back in the Presidency, and it’s going to get more obvious. A genuine MAGA primary candidate boosted by Elon can beat them.
To come full circle on Elon — He’s got conflicts of interest and questionable agendas when it comes to governing. But he’s pure gold for the campaigning part.
Am wondering if PDJT ‘wants the debt ceiling text’ in the CR isn’t just one of those art of the deal things – insert something he knows will never fly so when it is removed the idiots vote for the CR under the belief they got one up on Trump when both he and Speaker Johnson both knew this was how to get that 118 page CR passed instead of the 1,500+ page CR that the Democrats, especially Schumer, were gearing up to ‘be the hill to die on’.
I think both President Trump and Speaker Johnson, along with both Musk and Ramaswamy, already have plans in place to deal with the budget ceiling situation so figured to throw that issue out to the Democrats, and GOPe as a trojan horse.
Old and Broken: The House Freedom Caucus.
New Hurtness: The House Fraud’em Caucus.
“The HFC are anti-Trump, and they will stand aghast shouting “muh principles” when you point it out; they are, unfortunately, assholes.”
I love you Sundance!
Finally you are talking my language!!
I’ve known these types for the majority of my life and I am so relieved to know that finally before I leave this place and move on, sunlight and truth is shining brightly tonight during the winter darkness and just before our celebration of Christ’s birth.
Thank you!
Of course all MAGA Treepers know, (for sure), that President Trump is completely aware of this.
He is playing his game with them.
These are they exact same insufferable GOP jackasses who think Bush and Cheney were good people. I know because my family is filled with them.
We have a lot of work to do inside our own party.
Darn Tootin!
Chip Sou called Liz Cheney his good friend. Ick.
Aww…how sweet. “And we are fed up with Liz Cheney!” The crowd roars!! (Thank you, Congresswoman Harriet Hageman.)
Yeah, his crowd will not roar.
I never have considered myself a Republican.
I now realize I am not a “conservative” in that I do not support the establishment.
I am a Constitutionalist, specifically supporting the US Constitution.
I am a proud nationalist, in a word an American and support America first.
The GOP is a dinosaur that must be demolished before lasting change for the good can happen in America.
Maybe we need to deem ourselves “MAGA Americans”.
I’m not convinced it will pass the senate on Saturday..
It is being voted on right now.
It already did.
I can’t begin to understand all the ins and outs of how Congress spends mind boggling amounts of money but when I saw the majority of democrats voted for this spending bill, I then decided it must be a lousy bill and we get screwed as usual.
Since they have shown who they are, believe them. Stop pretending.
Primary everyone of them.
Actions have consequences.
In reading Mace’s statement as to why she voted with the Biden CR was because it reduced spending by 1%….. I’m thinkin reducing spending is a good thing. Are she/they merely throwing the baby out with the bath water at this point? I just get frustrated when those I think are America first pols turn out to be something other than that…. Or are they?
Reducing “spending” by 1%.
Wow
1%
That’ll bring down the $36.250 TRILLION National debt problem in no time
You go girl!!
/s
She’s a fraud. 1%? Really?
We sent Trump with a mandate. The members of our own party who play for the other team when it counts need to be primaried.
They are liars and tools for those who seek to destroy this country.
We’re on to their game.
There is a way around the debt ceiling that no one talks about. Currently we need to raise the debt ceiling to service the debt due next year. Next year it is approximately $8 trillion. That’s right $8 trillion in mostly T bills and some notes and bonds are due. We only take in approximately $5 trillion in tax revenue. That’s not enough. So we have to raise the debt ceiling to sell more debt instruments on the bond market managed by the Federal Reserve and its Primary Dealers.
So when the debt ceiling fight comes up, team Trump should just ignore the fight. Let the bill fail. There is a constitutional method to service existing debt without raising the debt ceiling and going more into debt. The U.S. Treasury simply needs to print US Notes or their electronic equivalent to service the bills, notes and bonds that come due while Congress diddles. Once Congress see themselves being circumvented they will act with a quickness.
Bypassing the Reserve by printing U.S. Notes debt-free is sure to piss off certain, very dangerous people. This was one of the things JFK was looking into.
“…U.S. Treasury simply needs to print US Notes”
Inflation much?
Some suggest that inflation is one of the intentional mechanisms being used to sink the vestigial Republic.
With multiple drivers based on false pretexts, e.g.:
-Energy constriction (climate canard, other e.g. early 2022 Ukraine supply disruption).
-Sub-par higher-priced alternate energy/transportation (climate canard).
-Plandemic (supply constriction plus demand pumping by fiat money pumping).
-Biowarfare democide (modRNA) plus DIE = endemic worsening dysfunctions & supply degradations.
Using multiple monetary means:
-USG borrowing from non-Fed investors.
-Fed creating fiat out of thin air and “loaning” to USG.
-Pumping money supply (e.g. M2).
This view dovetails with the view that the USG overspending also serves the goal of sinking the former Republic.
“Managed decline”, aka “controlled demolition”.
https://babylonbee.com/news/Congress-Warns-Failure-To-Pass-Spending-Bill-Might-Delay-Destructio-Of-The-Country
Interesting! I didn’t know that.
Here is a summary from investing.com:
————–
Most Americans have no idea that the U.S. government once issued debt-free money directly into circulation.
America once thrived under a debt-free monetary system, and we can do it again.
The truth is that the United States is a sovereign nation and it does not need to borrow money from anyone.
Back in the days of JFK, Federal Reserve Notes were not the only currency in circulation.
Under JFK (and at various other times), a limited number of debt-free United States Notes were issued by the U.S. Treasury and spent by the U.S. government without any new debt being created. In fact, each bill said “United States Note” right at the top.
Unfortunately, United States Notes are not being issued today.
If you stop right now and pull a dollar out of your wallet, what does it say right at the top? It says “Federal Reserve Note”.
Normally, the way our current system works is that whenever more Federal Reserve Notes are created more debt is also created. This debt-based monetary system is systematically destroying the wealth of this nation. But it does not have to be this way.
The truth is that the U.S. government still has the power under the U.S. Constitution to issue debt-free money, and we need to educate the American people about this.
https://www.investing.com/analysis/debt-free-united-states-notes-were-once-issued-under-jfk-and-the-u.s.-government-still-has-the-power-to-issue-debt-free-money-109131
Wasn’t the JFK notes actually Silver certificates backed by reserves of silver bullion held by the US?
The Fed Reserve is the bankers, is the WEF, is the Sea Island sponsors, is the corrupter of our country.
Thanks for that, Pascal20.
And this is “the Real reason” JFK was picked off.
Reasserting the power of the US Treasury in direct conflict with the global banksters who own the Federal Reserve.
Interesting. I don’t understand it yet (but I will study it). Hmmm…
The debt that comes due and must be refinanced is debt NOW. It can be refinanced and not raise the debt ceiling. It is the same debt before and after refinancing just different maturities.
The printing or nonprinting of money is meaningless. The Spending is what causes the problem: Inflation.
Inflation is a hidden tax. Don’t blame the Fed blame the root cause…the Spenders……Congress.
I remember that when President Donald Trump became President the first vote on cancelling Obamacare was defeated by the House Freedom Caucus. Almost 8 years later we still have the worst medical insurance system in the world.
Thanks to those great conservatives comprising the House Freedom Caucus!!!!
Yessireee!!!!
House Fraud’em Caucus!
A wilderness of mirrors.
I had watched Chip Roy switch-hitting on these issues – one time supporting PDJT another time opposing with no rhyme or reason, talking loud and such. But never consistently supporting an America-first strategy and logistics. Now it makes sense.
I hate to admit I was totally fooled by the Orwellian-named “Freedom Caucus”. SMH.
If those are our “conservatives”, I suppose people of the ilk of Mitch M. are outright agents of the CCP. Would not surprise me a bit.

I just Googled for current members of the House Freedom Caucus.
Both Anna Paulina Luna and Byron Donald’s are named.
This surprises me in that I haven’t felt that they’re working against Trump.
Am I wrong?
Here is a list of the current members as of December 2024:Current Members of the House Freedom Caucus

This list may not be exhaustive as the membership can change, and some members may not publicly disclose their affiliation with the caucus, but these are recognized members as of the latest information available.
Jim Jordan sure has done a great impersonation of Trey Gowdy since the later left Congress. Lots of “investigating” that has done nothing to push the needle. Funny how he’s never found anywhere around MAL.
Thanks, so what’s your point?
Not every one of these individuals are “Never-Trumper’s” masquerading as “principled Conservatives”, who vote against President Trump’s MAGA initiatives.
Just so you know, I’m paying attention.
You are known by the company you keep. The ‘not’ masqueraders surely know the masqueraders for what they are. Why keep company with them?
Abigail won’t answer that, because she can’t. Don’t worry tho…she saw it. And the point is, we should all be watching, not just her, but that’s a thought that flies right over her head, bless her heart.
So I will. Even PDJT occasionally “keeps company” with those who are ready and willing to undermine or harm him at a moments opportunity. Politics is clearly a filthy business, and every one in politics must find their own line as to who they associate with in order to accomplish what they believe is their own mission. Do you think our President elect likes associating with many of the “leaders” of the House or Senate-or world, for that matter? Add to that the fact that some members and associates of the HFC may be trying to steer it to the truly conservative side, but they’re not going to announce that. Or maybe they’re all scum.

Not every person in the Freedom Caucus is working against President Trump
.
Thank you.
Thats what I thought.
That’s what most people think, as Sundance attempted to inform everyone in his post above.
“We deal with things that are, not as we’d like them to be.”
I notice you spare exactly ZERO time differentiating between who is who in your self-righteous proclamation.
QUOTE:
”The House “Freedom Caucus” is essentially the voice and mechanism for the Sea Island group to disrupt MAGA plans and President Trump’s economic priorities.”
-Sundance
I’ll listen to Sundance and not you, especially here on HIS (not your) blog. Thank you.
Hey, Landslide24, what is the deal dumping on Abigail Straight?
You really need to stop.
Abigail is stating what she believes to be true. She did not demand you listen to or obey her.
Your slip has been showing for awhile now. 👀 👁️👻
Good morning, Abigail Straight. I see they are trying to pile up on you. Merry Christmas, sister, and God bless you.
Seconded!
Abigail, I’m with you. I don’t believe every one of them are never Trumpers. I believe Sundance is wrong on that. Maybe, generally speaking, HFC is not good and a lot of never Trumpers.
So, if HFC is bad, and the member of congress that AREN’T HFC members are never Trumpers, who do we have left that ISN’T BAD? I guess maybe no one? I know Matt Gaetz exposed how new members of congress immediately get coerced and corrupted from day one. They go in with good intentions but they are paired up with lobbyists who will be their pipeline for money for their reelection. If the newly elected person tries to resist, they are threatened with being ruined and their family ruined by the dirt they’ll dig up on you.
I’ll tell you one person I’ll support, Victoria Spartz from Indiana. She calls the duplicitous bullshit out. She lived in communism and understands it better than most. I’m sure I probably wouldn’t agree with her on ALL things. But I probably would I most. She’s a principled person I trust.
The War Room frequently has freedom caucus members on as guests. Never would have guessed Bannon’s a never Trumper until I read these comments!
If they’re on the list I don’t trust them.
I don’t know if you’re wrong or right.
Goolag or search for members endorsed by other members.

Booo!
The bill…
https://punchbowl.news/wp-content/uploads/ARA-12.20.pdf
The demons of the house…
Good cop. Bad cop.
It’s a con job.
Meanwhile, Chuckie Cheese continues to sit on a children’s cancer bill…
I think they passed it tonight after people found out.
Would be great if they actually did!
One of the senators wanted to take it up for a vote. I think it was Senator Bennett of Colorado. He introduced the bill after midnight. Rand Paul apparently had already said that the hour was too late. He objected, and so that vote did not happen last night.
From what was said, it sounds like some kind of authorization to do chemotherapy drug trials on kids. Some of the drugs are already used in adult cancers, but maybe not all.
Usually in drug trials, the drug company provides the drug. Pharma likes to go to congress for legislation that orders reimbursement for whatever they are selling. This piece of legislation quite possibly is an attempt to snooker a bunch of legislators into agreeing to pay for the drugs instead of the companies eating that cost.
Pharma may also be looking for liability protection.
That bill did not need to be steamrolled through to passage.
Those are possibilities – though ones which would usually elicit a “hell yes!” out of Chuckie and the Dims.
That said, sitting on it in the Senate since March is far from “steamrolling” it 🙂
What if cancer cures already exist? Hint: cancer is caused by micro-parasites.
Why are anti-parasitics effective in treating cancers?
Why isn’t this more widely discussed? Money. ‘mUh CaNcEr ReAsEaRcH’ is a grift.
Plus, people would be furious to find out cancer cures already exist and are being hidden.
I’ve believed for years the medical industry is sitting on cures for many major health issues.
Of course they are. They aren’t interested in actual cures – they want perpetual patients.
An excellent example of this is the speech that was given by a Vanderbilt hospital administrator, talking about how wonderful it would be to have the money rolling in from the constant surgery and treatments that result from mutilating children…
They also don’t want inexpensive and effective treatments – not enough money in that (see Ivermectin).
I saw that speech. Unbelievable.
I took Humira injections for years for my RA. I recently quit it cold turkey bc I gave up trusting a single aspect of the medical industry in its current form. I’ll take my chances with The Lord..
Humira has been out for 20 years, but the list price is still $8000 per month. Of that, I was paying $4000.
Pharmacy Benefit Managers now eat up the “$$ if you need help paying for your medications” that drug makers used to offer.
Another excellent example of the pharmacological scam.
My mom had very bad arthritis in her back and neck. Swore by daily regimen of natural apple cider vinegar with mothers and an aspirin. Some say tumeric helps as well (natural anti-inflammatory). Pray you find a manageable way forward and a blessed Christmas.
I disagree with the assertions regarding cause by parasites – IVM has many functional pathways.
There does exist non-chemo cures for SOME types of cancer – but most definitely not all. Most that due have them involve particular types of tumor based cancers.
Was there ever a definitive answer to how Massie’s wife died? Were there published autopsy results? It was sudden and unexpected. She was alone. She wasn’t vaxxed. To look at Massie you’d think nothing had happened or changed in his life. After a brief period of mourning, he went back to work. And the whole subject seems to have been dropped. Unless there’s more info out there that I’ve missed. Something creepy about the whole thing.
i looked up her obit through the funeral home.
Someone who left a message of condolence made reference to health issues with which she had been dealing.
I think it was cancer but her death was not expected.
Also, keep a special eye on these 12 Republican House members for when President Trump takes office and pushes for his agenda.
These 12 reps voted against the 2nd bill that had the suspension of the debt ceiling for 2 years in it, which President Trump had requested. That was the major change to the 3rd bill which passed without that provision. All 12 of these reps now either voted for the 3rd bill or didn’t vote at all.
So it would appear that the Trump-requested item being deleted is what led them to vote yes on this 3rd bill or not vote at all.
Let’s keep a strong watch on these people after the new House is sworn in come January 2. They should be at the top of the list for potential obstruction of President Trump’s agenda.
I don’t care how much any of them claim to be MAGA supporters.

And Brecheen from OK. He’s a jr rep who ran as MAGA, and I hate to think he’s already been turned.
You forgot Bob Good. He voted NO on both bills. But — HAHAHA — we primaried his ass so he is gone in a few days.
By my count, only three of these are currently member of the HFC
Texas cannot “primary” anyone till the primaries are closed.. We keep getting stuck with Cornyn and several others due to open primaries.. The party of the ass turns out strong for former jackasses running on the Republican ticket
The uniparty only makes money on phony horse-races.
Uniparty voters bet lavishly on phony horse-races.
The only winners are those who lose the least.

Same problem in Tennessee. RINOs keep winning due to Democrat crossover. We are a Republican Super Majority State with purple policies. It is truly kabuki theater in Tennessee.
I wasn’t happy when I went to vote in a republican primary as an Independent in OK, and I couldn’t because primaries are closed.
Now I understand the reasons for closed primaries and totally support them. In fact, open primaries are criminal.
The funding bill just passed the senate 85 to 11.
Poor Timmy. I swore I liked this man until I didn’t. Would it be possible to clean out every single seat in DC, replace them all in one fell swoop, er’ election? Just dreaming.
“It’s clear to me that the problem is going to be the members in that room.”
It would be a risk to replace all of them because you never know what you are going to get, but it might be worth a try. Nothing else seems to take root.
We could find 535 people off the street who’d do a much better job for less money.
I’m a little confused; I thought there were MAGA people in the Freedom Caucus…
I think its actually designed to confuse people. Nobody really knows who stands for what, anymore.
‘I think its actually designed to confuse people. Nobody really knows who stands for what, anymore.’
From a distance, far enough away to see the overall US gestalt, some observe:
There is a great commotion as everyone bickers about who stands for what in the maelstrom of lies, while the ship continues inexorably sinking.
The hull has too many gaping holes now to stop it (deindustrialization, 60 years of DIE degradations, accelerating debt, weakened military, increasing multiculturalism strife, LGBT and feminazi destruction of the family, climate canard, Safetyism, modRNA biowarfare attrition exacerbating overall health degradations.)
Judges 17:6 …
“In those days there was no King in Israel, but every man did that which was good in his own eyes.”
That has been true at least since November 22, 1963.
The freedom hates us for our terror.
War On Terror Became War On MAGA
https://rumble.com/v58bhlh-julie-kelly-war-on-terror-became-war-on-maga.html
There are self interested people in the Freedom Caucus.
When that interest ($$$$) aligns with MAGA, they support MAGA and President Trump.
When that interest ($$$$) is at odds with MAGA, they undermine it while feigning “principles”.
Republicans want money. They will do what the donors tell them.
I’ve been around for three generations, more than enough time to know that each generation thinks their problems are unique…when they’re not! History actually does repeat itself, over and over and over!
The House Freedom Caucus, the Patriot Act, the Affordable Care Act, The American Rescue Plan Act…ALL the worst, most corrupt, intrusive-on-our-freedoms and crooked as hell legislators, legislation and federal boondoggles hide their true intent with a cloak of phony patriotism!
True reformers like President-elect Trump, who are actually trying to change the corrupt and bloated government system face resistance that is both massive and entirely predictable!
We have to look no further for proof of that fact than what Niccolo Machiavelli wrote about what Trump is facing, five hundred years ago:
“It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than the creation of a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit from the preservation of the old institutions and merely lukewarm defenders in those would would gain by the new ones.”
Fortunately, Trump knew exactly what he was getting himself into, and he is uniquely qualified to do battle with the folks crossing their fingers behind their backs! Trump is a genuine disruptor, who isn’t above using humiliation and ridicule as tools to bend the decepticons to his will…and that is good for the American people.
Niccolo would be proud!
When you have a new President like Trump who doesn’t have to worry about a reelection, it will be a no holds barred agenda.
They tried to kill him!!! They tried to jail him (a totally innocent man!). He will do what he can to expose and destroy the corruption in this government. The old Lee Iacocca quote truly applies here: “Lead, follow or get out of the way!!” He’s bulldozer and a flag raiser. Please, dearest Lord, keep raising him up, and please help us help him. Amen!!
I know I said I was going to take a break…it was a short break.
so here is the question…
Elon musk gets involved, President Trump gets involved.
and that single involvement shuts down the monster CR in it tracks.
now, first my reaction is “quite impressive, he’s not even in office yet”.
but then, you know me…I have questions…being curious. life is never that simple.
what kind of leverage goes President Trump and Elon have that all of Congress would do as they are told.?
that seems a bit odd doncha think?
*noting: I don’t have the answers here…just some obvious questions that are worth thinking about*
why wouldn’t Congress simply ignore this interruption. I get it Elon is very popular and soon President Trump will in the White House and very soon. But that really doesn’t explain why congress literally seized the hand brake and produced almost exactly as was asked.
I am thinking there is some other kind of leverage that we are not aware of.
Why nothing from joe malarkey’s office.
look I know sometimes I can get quite free with some of my musings…but this one catches me as quite odd.
everyone just went along with it. I’m not saying it was scripted. I am saying it looks like some kind of a trap. too easy…
maybe we need to revisit those 35 again and double check to find out what they know.
maybe we need to learn what President Trump and the speaker actually talked about.
you know transparency and all that jazzz.
I just have this bad feeling again…it’s just too easy.
Maybe I am just not accustomed to easy wins either. Maybe that is what is responsible for my skepticism.
God Bless America
They didn’t take the debt ceiling bomb off the table.
Smaller bill, still with a poison pill.
They’ve already done the deed.
Contrary to what is often prevalent opinion, very large volumes of phone calls and emails to House members CAN and DOES have an effect. The combination of PDJT, Musk, and Bannon can bring a lot of public pressure to bare. In the case of Johnson, there’s the lever of the speaker slot as well and he needs to cling to it if he is to continue to do his invisible masters’ bidding.
As far as the debt ceiling – it’s a topic that makes for strange conversations in light of the fact that the majority of people realize that our national debt, coupled with spending more than we take in, is detrimental to our nation and her citizens, at some point potentially leading to a major collapse.
Note that the bill passed only funds spending into the spring, so the same coupling leverage of a potential shutdown will exist then as it does now. For myself, while PDJT would prefer not to be encumbered with or have to deal with the ceiling, the plain fact of the matter is that spending MUST be reigned in to a level BELOW our income – and that does not mean raise taxes like a European.
While a plan to reach that point might have a short (1 – 2 years) time span associated with it, nonetheless a plan needs to be in place – then the ceiling can be adjusted accordingly. IF they trim fat, useless bureaucracies, unConstitutional ones, and shrink the federal government to the level it should be at, and increase revenue flows due to expansion as has been indicated then they should have no issue with a debt ceiling.
PDJT grew up in an environment – and still lives in it – whereby debt fuels life and the magnitude of the debt is meaningless – the only thing that matters is ability to pay the interest. Of course, he also has had bankruptcy in his past due to that view. A nation can’t afford bankruptcy – nor can or should it bare a crushing debt burden whose yoke is passed from generation to generation, forever plowing them into the mud.
The government finances should be run like financially prudent citizen’s are – pay as you go, save for those bigger ticket items, and go into debt only for necessities and with a plan to pay it off as quickly as possible, which is strictly adhered to. My views and they won’t be subservient or cast aside for anyone.
While I fully understand and in various cases agree that there are some who only espouse said view and don’t really mean it, one should also allow for the possibility that some of the nay votes were due to such firmly held principles.
Good points. I think Elon has influence because of X. He has millions of followers.
Could be many things.
Among them….
It is known that during a specific three-year period from October 30, 2017, to September 30, 2020, there were approximately 203,495 sealed indictments sitting inside the DoJ that had not been served. You’ll note that this coincides with the transparency of the Trump administration as any subsequent lack of said transparency does with the Biden admin.
very interesting. was not aware. Please continue.
Welcome back, hoped it wouldn’t be permanent. You keep paying attention to your spidey-sense, if something seems to good (or easy) to be true, it probably is, and sorting out whats REALLY going on in D.C.from whsts scripted is challenging, we need all the scepticism we can get.
Just bear in mind, I know some people are convincef Butler was a scripted event, on DJT’s part, cause it appeared “scripted” to them and “too perfect” .
They are idiots, Dutchman.
The Democrats passed the bill in the House after the debt ceiling language was removed. That was the only difference between Plan B and Plan C.
I have no idea if the debt ceiling issue was all that important to the Democrats or if the debt ceiling gave the appearance of a win for them.
There are a lot of Left Coasters among the Democrats in the House. It may have been that they wanted to get to the airport before they couldn’t get a flight home.
I don’t know.
X has all of their tweets.
Can we provide a few with Tesla’s or treadmills?
Can the Senate block this?
So, basically, we are fcked and far from home. The best we can wish for is that Kash conducts major corruption investigations against the B team RINOs to shame them out of office and clear the deck.
Where are all the lecturers who demanded we have to vote R down ticket, even though we know they are decepticons? 🥴😂
The choice was between a CRap Dagwood Sandwich and a CRap Snack. Shut it down for a month and let the new Congress deal with it.
Thank you, Sundance, for the clarity and shining the light of truth into this deep dark hole.
Where there is Dharma, there is Victory. The Crap Weasels have clearly outed themselves.
Also outs Steve Bannon who was against raising debt ceiling on this CR.
Well, at least Cotton didn’t call J6 protestors “terrorists” like Cruz did on several occasions. But I agree, never trust a Sea Island attendee.
Thank you for reminding me of Thomas Massie’s true colors above, Sundance.
Also, it grinds my gears whenever Nancy Mace show boats, getting positive ink from a publication such as The Gateway Pundit.
I still haven’t forgiven Mace for ruining The Citadel. She did not have to go through the same crucible as the men in the same program.
And still she whined the entirety of her time there of being mistreated.
Alleycats, thank you for seconding me further up the comments sections with the interloper who was being nasty to a seasoned Treeper.
👊
Funny thing. Saw on a post here that 98% of republicans approve of what President Trump is doing, yet congress stands against him. Guess that tells you whose side they’re on. Not going to repeat for the 100th time that what’s wrong with our government starts in congress. Personally, getting annoyed with Gaetz and his childish behavior. President Trump named him to a high position and he’s out there talking about going back to congress long enough to hurt some feelings before quitting again when President Trump could use some backing. Joker, nothing more.
Look at Massie canoodling with Crazy Eyes!
Defund Sea Island.. Budlight their sorry asses.
Why get bent about who is and is not a “good guy” in Congress?
Accept the given, they are all bad.
Watching Congress is like watching Professional Wrestling. it is all an act.
Prove me wrong.
That’s a great analogy
I live a small life. I call myself a socially awkward, very introverted, quasi hermit. I am old and dont really understand the new media (Makes me think of my Mom and the VCR LOL). Social media has never appealed to me. However I feel the time has come that every voice may count and so I will make accounts and share Sundance’s words of wisdom to the ether of whomever will see it. Every warrior, or wolverine, will be needed in this fight for our country.
Thank you, fellow energized geezer.
Is there a list of those that attended SEA ILAND
we need to get that list out there
In the kitchen cream rises. In DC what rises is the worst of us.
The money needs to be taken out of DC. Drain most of the people and most of the money. The grifters on K street need to be forced to relocate to the State Capitols. Then it will be up to us to either enjoy them in Nashville or drive them to Sacramento or Albany.
The bad guys want Globalism and 1 World Government. I want the exact opposite.
In a stagnant pond it is the sum that rises.
Scum not sum.
K street lobbyists need to be canceled not relocated.
If memory serves me we are back to Trump Presidency 1.0 with the battle of Main Street and Wall Street.
we will remember
LOTS OF INFO IN THE COMMENTS THAT i DID NOT KNOW ABOUT OUR SO CALLED REPRESENTATIVES. INFO THAT WE NEED TO GET TO REPUBLICAN VOTERS BEFORE THEY GET ELECTED AGAIN. ALSO NEED TERMLIMITS
Unfortunately, DOGE stands as much chance as a snowball in h**l. The Uniparty will not change its ways and will continue to drive the country to oblivion. PDJT is a strong leader, but he has a herculean task.
I lean that way, too. The Dems/WEF-types are already setting up organizations with funding, staff, and lawyers to come at the Administration from all angles. They will “play” in judicial jurisdictions friendly to their causes. If the can’t stop something entirely they will attempt to throw enough sand in the gears so as to slow it down. Their game is to defeat, and if not defeat, delay and drag it out until 2028. (or the 2026 election.) Their trump card (no pun in tended) are the RINOs and DINOS (DOGE in name only). The Trump team is smarter than the first administration, and I’m hoping that they also learned that nice guys finish last.
