Senator Thom Tillis appears to have been granted a larger slice of the lobbyist money from Thune and McConnell because he certainly is taking up a position next to Joni Ernst in strategic opposition to President Donald Trump.
The level of passive aggressive threat-speak within Tillis’ very carefully selected wording is quite concerning. “President Trump enjoyed a great deal of Republican support in his first term,” Tillis notes. “But if people want to play the outside [pressure] game, they run a lot of risk,” he continues. “Four votes is all it’s going to take to kill a nomination here, so they should take pause,” Tillis reminds everyone.
Senator Tillis from North Carolina represents the aloof mindset of the Senate at large, and the detached mindset of the Republicans in the senate specifically.
The republicans in North Carolina in 2024 are highlighting just how similar they are to the republicans in Georgia, circa 2020.

The fact that pressure coming from constituents is called “outside pressure” says everything one needs to know about deep state compliance.
North Carolinians need to show up in busloads outside whatever property he keeps as a “residence” carrying that simple message.
Constituents = Outsiders?
Great point!
Once you marry through a election into the D C Club you are home free. They have setup layers of faithful troops using this or that department of FBI CIA DOJ OSHA EPA .they have approximately eleven million faithful leaches on our Tax dime. These miscreants are really the danger to ,using their words , democracy. No the Republic. These politicians are crookeder than a barrel of snakes. I will tell you another snake to watch,Kentucky’s James Comer . He loves getting his little fat face in front of a TV camera, rattles on about harsh worded letters BS,it is as staged as the WWF.
And he supports putting AOC on a big time committee
My comment above is out of line. On second hearing, he distinctly identified organizations that are even outside of the Trump organization. If he means what he says, that’s correct.
I’ll allow for ego that he wants to appear to be affirming nominees by choice, not pressure.
deleted (just because I needed to reread Bruzed Orange’s personal point again…)
Anyway, I had no problem with his original comment but understand how we may second guess ourselves, sometimes in a way that is beneficial for our own thinking…
Actually, these so-called “outsiders” are never named by either the inviewer nor by Tillis. Some or many of them may be organizations that include constituents. For me, the “tell” is what he says about the nominees. He obviously is non-commital to supporting all or specific ones. He says that he wants them to get “fair” consideration. “Political speak” makes up almost the entirety of his responses.
We as a nation are awake to how republicans work to achieve their back-stabbing. If national organizations working to support the America First agenda are vowing to support removal of RINO’s and the installation of committed MAGA candidates, I believe that is the same thing that many of his constituents voted for.
Tilis is more than happy to give in to pressure from “outside” people and groups, as long as those people outside NC are pressuring him to move in a big government/forever war/anti-MAGA/open borders direction.
“The fact that pressure coming from constituents is called “outside pressure” says everything one needs to know about deep state compliance.”
So lawfare uses their power to threaten (when he was) a sitting President and now is President-elect.
And Congress uses their power to threaten their constituents who elected him. Three times.
Correct.
You should see their cabal has shoved in at the state level.
Silly voters… We don’t represent you. Whatever gave you that idea…..
Sad, but so true.
Sad, but pisses me off. AND IT’S OUR FAULT!!!
And stay there for weeks just as THEY did outside the homes of several conservative SC Justices’ awhile back.
The great and patriotic Thomas Massie said EVERY member of Congress has an AIPAC “handler”! If that’s true we have to face facts that we are being ruled by a foreign entity! And the government is captured!!
A nation who’s leader who has espouses such admiration of our Republic and its citizens to say “America is a huge welfare cow. That we will suck dry and leave a broken welfare state. Bc this is what we do to countries we despise!”
Yeah that Benji NuttyA-hole who said that!! A genocidal maniac! Who has been convicted of crimes against humanity at the World Court in The Hague Netherlands! The same man who has an open arrest warrant in 139 countries!! 🤔
America is a huge welfare cow. That we will suck dry and leave a broken welfare state. Bc this is what we do to countries we despise!”
Can you cite the source, I have never read this or heard of this before.
Google it! Better yet Bitchute it. I’ve seen it! That’s why I cited it.
AIPAC was going to be forced to register as a Foreign Agent (FARA ) act by the JFK administration. That would mean they would have to disclose where their funding comes from. The pressure was put on hard in October. 1963. We know what happened in November 1963. https://www.israellobby.org/azcdoj
Precisely! JFK was infuriated that Ben Gurian had illegally obtained nuclear technology. And then they lied about having it as the Dimona facility in the Israeli desert. It’s called the Apollo Affair. Or the NUMEC scandal. Ryan Dawson did an excellent documentary. Available at Bitchute.
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/fact-check-the-truth-behind-netanyahu-supposedly-saying-america-is-a-golden-calf-and-we-will-suck-it-dry/ar-BB1jCayF
Snopes rates this as ‘unfounded’ and can find no evidence to support it except it first appearing, uncited, in 2015 in a notably antisemitic publication.
Netanyahu has been repeatedly elected by voters in the only true democracy in the ME. He has almost as many lawfare charges against him as Trump. The US does not recognize the International Court of Justice and its so-called warrants for good reason.
One of the reasons I support CTH is that Sundance routinely documents his sources and doesn’t post undocumented crap.
The posted comments guide for CTH asks that commenters stay on topic …which this post isn’t.
Well said – thank you
Snopes?? Really?
First up on Google, plenty of others. I used Snopes because it is notoriously left biased. If there was anything behind the allegation, they would have cited it.
This is why we can’t have nice things.
Seems the not so good senator has been drinking the mountain dew because President Trump did not enjoy republican backing in his first term, and it appears the same treatment will be carried into this term as well. Personally, my feelings must be limited to words to my Christian Walk and not how I would like to express the distain I have for both parties in stronger language. You are worthless fools.
One cannot hate Republicans in Congress enough.
Absolutely the Senate is our worst enemy IMO.
Then I suggest President Trump find 5 (FIVE) reasonable and moderate Democrats to spoil for votes. And those 4 republicans can go to hell. Would not upset me if someone did a Gaetz on THUNE. McConnell is soon gone. Falls and mini strokes at his age will win the day.
Tillis, Thune, Cornyn, McConnell, Murkowski, Cotton, Collins, Ernst …that’s eight off the top of my head.
Don’t forget that Thune won the Majority Leader position by a majority vote of the entire Senate Republican caucus.
Its way more than five.
Targeting these traitorous RINO establishment Senators for being primaried is a wonderful idea. Way past due time that actions like this should have been executed. Any Senator that comes forward denouncing this should be on the targeting list.
6 year terms tend to embolden weenies 🙂
If there’s plans to primary them out then those states better get ready to watch the cheats. Do you honestly think these states are sending them back. States taught feds how to cheat.
Time to fire up the primary machine…
Don’t leave out the Sip and the Ark.
well, with harmeet & pam on their side they can fight against the primary voter.
This is why McConnell did not help the MAGA Senate GOP candidates to keep their majority low so they can play this bs threat game with votes like they did during Trump’s first term. Four Senate seats were outright stolen in November and the GOP is silent.
and one of the lawyers (harmeet) in charge of regional election security is now in charge of federal election security.
She’s a snake. The bright side is that for Tillis to talk about the pressure, he must be feeling the pressure. It must be a real thing.
Harmeet Dillon: Unfortunately a clear example of the Peter Principle at work.
I don’t know…..Let’s go ask Kari Lake…
Not good, at all!
Thom Tillis needs to be disabused of his notion that he can threaten constituents to “stand down” – he totally does not even understand our system of government!
Make telegrams great again – I wish we could cover the Senators in a blanket of telegrams!
Senator Tillis, it is “Advice and Consent,” not Thumbscrews and The Rack. You should be happy to confirm President Trump’s nominees all at once and by voice vote. This is Grandstanding.
How far can that part of the Constitution be pushed ? Or has it been really tested before ? Now is the time for the lawyers to start preparing to test it, if necessary.
So the head of the government is Trump. He just needs to start firing people and creating executive orders to blow the whole thing up. He does not need a cabinet head to execute.
He can same Tillis with him not going to bat for NC Emergency Relief efforts.
The head of government is not Trump.
He’s only the head of one of three branches.
The one with the most authority is the legislative, then comes the executive. The President is constitutionally restricted, just like the other two branches. He is NOT authorized to do by EO what he cannot lawfully do under the Constitution.
How do you figure the legislative has the most authority?
Constitutionally. Reality is a different thing since so few people know it or care to understand and follow it.
Look at his powers compared to the legislative. (Article I, Sec. 8.). Don’t take someone else’s word for it.
The President basically has only the lawful powers to be the Commander in Chief of the armed forces (Article II, Sec. 2) and to implement the laws Congress passes (Article II, Sec. 3, last clause). There are a few precious others, like making treaties (with approval from the Senate only).
Congress is Constitutionally limited as well.
As in,
“Congress shall make no law…”
Trust God.
Fear not.
Of course they are!! Your quote is from the first amendment and is a jewel. It means they (the feds) cannot make laws for…or against the subject, in this case, “religion”. They are not to touch the subject at all!!! Beautiful, yes??
Sigh. Disingenuous at best.
Trump is the only person elected by the entire nation, save his VP.
The entire Executive branch of government, thousands of times larger than either Congress or SCOTUS, reports solely to him as affirmed by SCOTUS just this year.
He cannot make laws on his own but he can veto them.
He can write Executive Orders, based on existing Constitutional authority and Legislation, on how any such authority and legislation is implemented and executed.
To say that Trump is NOT the HEAD of the US government is semantics turned upside down. In that interpretation, the only Head of any government worldwide would have to be a dictator.
We are a republic and Trump is the sole elected executive in our federal government.
“The entire Executive branch of government, thousands of times larger than either Congress or SCOTU”
Correct, and 99% of the agencies, offices, bureaus, etc., are unconstitutional…i.e. unlawful.
Not “semantics”. Congress is (constitutionally) restricted…yes, yes, yes, but the president is more so. The concept of “enumerated” powers is not an easy concept to understand as the founders intended it to be.
Senate republicans, like most of the democrats and the rest of the DC criminal cabal, are petty grifters who will do whatever they must to keep the money flowing their way.
Need to repeal that 17th amendment. Besides pressureon them to heed voters , there is need for action to start the repeal process, then they are beholden to the states not who lines their pockets. Recall of a rogue is much easier.
Absolutely true. Reality is that it will never happen with this group of Senators.
Yes, sounded good elect your Senator.
NO, repeal it.
Another arrogant pontificating slurper at the globalist money laundering trough ventures forth. He so easily forgets that the demands and concerns of his constituents do not take a back seat to his underlying desire to increase his wealth and power at their expense. So beware of your childish threatening behavior as the voter can give and takeaway at their discretion.
How dare the proleteriat speak out against the Central Politburo. Such hooliganism will not be tolerated.
Thomas Tillis got booed soundly at ever Trump rally he ever attended with Trump in NC. Trump drug his lying carcass across the finish line with his coattails…Tillis stabbed Trump in the back every chance he got.
I have written his office many times about immigration and his insane support for Ukraine. I’m sure he helped nuke Mark Robinson’s campaign. I despise his type of politician.
We need a MAGA candidate who can beat Tillis.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Lara.
Dan Bishop would be a MAGA replacement if he would run for the office.
Mike Jordan.
I wonder how Tillus voted on the Biden cabinet picks.
A suit without a tie is the uniform of globalism.
This is what the RINOS & Dems always want conservatives to do–stand down and give up without a fight; well, NO CHANCE!!! 🙁
Lara Trump (wife to Eric) is a native of North Carolina. If she doesn’t get appointed to Rubio’s seat in Florida, she should primary Tillis; he’s up for reelection in two short years!!!
We should let Scott Pressler know about this; hopefully, he can mobilize people to primary RINOS like Tillis!!!
Tillis running to the left because he gaces reelection in ’26 in purple NC. I hope he gets primaried out of existence. He is such a disappointment.
““Four votes is all it’s going to take to kill a nomination here, so they should take pause,” Tillis reminds everyone.”
I have a “brilliant” idea.
Let’s keep attacking any Republican who isn’t already in lock-step with voting for every single one of Trump’s forty some nominees and, maybe, we can get that four votes up to five or six or even seven votes, on a whole bunch of nominees, especially if we promise to primary them and say their spouse is ugly if they don’t obey us, and every single time, because everyone knows you catch more flies with vinegar than with honey.
I will not stand down for Thom Tillis or anyone else.
You are free to do as you please. Maybe he’ll allow you to shine his loafers…
Senator Tillis works for those who voted him into office ie his constituents. They have every right and obligation to inform him of how they want him to represent them. If he fails to do so, they also have every right and obligation to vote him out of office during primary elections.
Senator Tillis, on the other hand, has no right to bully or threaten his constituents. That is exactly what he is doing with his threats, he’s bullying his constituents and all others who voted for Trump. Appeasing any bully only invites them to bully you more.
Primary Tillis.
The senates role is ‘advise and consent’ … which is abit lighter than Tillis position of ‘no’.
Thanks for raising your hand Tillis. Noted.
Who works for who?
This sounds like a threat- and we’re the people paying this man’s paycheck, he answers to the taxpayers.
If only we were really the people who pay this man’s “paychecks,” NHnative.
The lobbyists and special interest groups are far more munificent, and as long as our “representatives” can take in all their cash, they think they can — and should — threaten us.
….who needs to stand down??…
Confirms my position that most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
Where in the Constitution does it give the Senate the authority to decide who the President selects for his Cabinet? Who gave them authority over the Executive Branch? I say to hell with them!
Advice and Consent Clause in the Constitution: Article 2, Section 2, Clause 2
That’s not a free pass to demand their preference.
Right. You have to get 51 votes to confirm.
53 Senators need to be reminded that they did not receive 76M votes or take a bullet to the face.
Advise & consent doesn’t = they get to decide.
I’m a fan of memes. Tag each of the 50 with a photo collage of the useless, communist turds they voted to confirm in 2021 -2024. They can be “encouraged” to stop & rethink their foolishness.
They really don’t like it when the masses rise up and demand their senators pay attention to their desires.
Hey Tommy…see you next primary…
So elected officials hearing from their constituents is “outside pressure”?
Thom Tillis is a Democrat in everything but name. He has voted for almost every Biden spending bill, despite the number of people writing him and telling him that’s not what they want. He has been a shill for McConnell, following the pack of rats that do McConnell’s bidding.
He’s up for re-election in 2026 and has been making some more conservative noises than usual, but we remember the last years when he listened to nobody. He only won in NC because of PDJT’s endorsement.
“President Trump enjoyed a great deal of Republican support in his first term…”
And where, exactly, is the planet this dude is from? The false reality there must be massive, wherever it is.
If President Trump “enjoyed” anything about his first term in office as President it certainly had nothing to do with the “great deal” of “support” from his fellow Republicans. As I seem to recall — as do we all — President Trump’s fellow Republicans spent most of their time trying to figure out who could stick the shiv in his back first.
Since he is using the left’s tactics, I think that means we need to up the heat on these lawless individuals.
How dare he!
Oh, wait…
Liberty score:
https://libertyscore.conservativereview.com/
The Conservative Review’s Liberty Score “F” rated RINO Senators (name, score, state, years in Senate, next election)

Kevin Cramer D 64% ND 9 2025

I even recall seeing two C-rated Senate RINOs who have said they won’t vote for one or the other of the radical reformer cabinet nominees. I don’t recall the names, just that they were stupid enough to make that comment instead of lying or just keeping their mouths shut until what they want counts in the actual votes.
Again, confirms my position that most Republicans are Democrats, but no Democrats are Republicans.
so without pressure, they will kill Trump’s nominees, but also with pressure.
what’s the incentive to stop? this makes no sense? If they are going to defy the will of the people and represent globalists instead of Americans, their lives should be made as miserable and hellish as possible, to the point that they hate their lives and want to quit or even die.
Our lives are too short to suffer these people. They need to made to feel and know what actual things are important in life and that messing with our lives will not work out for them.
The UniParty vipers strike back….
tickleme tillis
outside pressure sounds like Musk’s money to primary these traitors.
after this, it should happen to Tillis no matter which way he goes.
threats of being a traitor should be take seriously even if they don’t follow through “this time”.
-Exit stage right!
“threats of being a traitor should be take seriously…” especially since we’ve seen it all play out so clearly with the J6 people in jail.
The political graveyard is littered over the past few years with RINOS and Deep Staters and Obama accolytes who tried to take on Donald Trump. Donald Trump’s record so far is a lot better than theirs, and he has sent several to the sidelines to look for another line of work….Tillis is the one who needs to watch his step, not Trump.
Wow. The elected by the people Senator, represents himself.
Does this guy need a bell-ringing!
They knew 2024 was too big to rig for POTUS, but not for the Senate and House. Just enough seats were stolen in ’22-’24 to be able to roadblock as needed.
You work for the US citizens, senator. Never forget, this isn’t your show.
Senators office in North Carolina. Please be respectful.

Washington DC phone number:

What’s his home address?
How MILLIONS of letters and post cards would it take to get his attention?
How about if Senator Tillis focuses some money and effort for recovery in his home state.
There are still people in tents….and winter is here for many.
What a narcissistic, egotistical ……….person.
Please separate “Georgia Republicans circa 2020” from those of us who vote for conservatives and were shafted by our ‘Republican’ leaders. We are real conservatives and they are RINOs…hopefully they will rapidly reach political extinction.
I am from NC and I can promise you that we will primary this POS when he’s up for re-election. He is a loser.
So Thommy Tillis forgets that he serves at the pleasure of the very “outsiders” that he just threatened?
Not only has he been a useless turd for all of his senate tenure, he’s begging to be tossed out on HisAss in 26. Let’s give him what he asked for.
I’ll be happy to fund this arrogant bass turds primary challenger. Let’s roll.
Even by the standards of politicians that’s an outrageous lie. The GOP Congress undermined and attacked Trump every chance they got in his first term. With Tillis being a major offender.
Why is it that reliably Republican states keep sending these left-wing Republicans to Congress? You never see Dem Senators from NY or California voting against their Presidents nominees.
Cornyn in Texas is the same. Solid red state, but RINO Cornyn keeps getting elected.
We need some deep pockets to fund primary challengers in these States. Tough to go up against the Republican Party all alone to defeat one of the GOPe incumbents.
I moved some time ago from N to S Carolina just to get away from Charlotte’s insufferably blue people. They are incredibly stupid. Moved before C19 but they absolutely performed as expected as it relates to C19 measures.
I’d be ALL over that guy if I was within his constituency. I hope enough N.Carolinians here will FLOOD this guy’s inbox over this.
Heading the same way myself. While NC probably will have better future Economic Growth than my very soon to be home, the insufferability of most of our “Republi-crat” politicians is nauseating. If you’re going to be a Democrat, at least have the testicular fortitude to be honest with the voters….
Elon?
Elon Musk and Scott Pressler would be a killer combination.
The RNC needs to identify and fund potential replacements for those RINOs.
The RNC is the reason so many of these RINOs are in the party.
…WAS the reason.
You might want to ask Kari Lake about that as well as the defeated Rs in red areas of California.
Perhaps if we acted like citizen journalists, those who live in his area might start to spot odd things, like who he shares his hotel rooms with!
Agree but they both are RINOS, Cruz too, he’s just in it for photo ops, money and anything he can get for himself. Cornyn is just rotten to the core.
How do we get good primary candidates willing to take them on? Esp since the Texas legislature is controlled by the Democrats even tho’ the Republicans hold the majority. So no help there. Its a horrible system.
Never again!
Because we can’t get rid of them. I live in Idaho and we have Crapo and Risch. They are members of the Mormon church and the church runs Idaho politics. Simpson is the same we can’t get rid of them.
The 17th amendment essentially made US senators “free agents” once elected. They became “free” of State control. Once in Washington, they can, if they want, make self-serving deals for themselves. They count on the voters forgetting what they have done, as they only stand for election once every 6 years.
