Senator Thom Tillis appears to have been granted a larger slice of the lobbyist money from Thune and McConnell because he certainly is taking up a position next to Joni Ernst in strategic opposition to President Donald Trump.
The level of passive aggressive threat-speak within Tillis’ very carefully selected wording is quite concerning. “President Trump enjoyed a great deal of Republican support in his first term,” Tillis notes. “But if people want to play the outside [pressure] game, they run a lot of risk,” he continues. “Four votes is all it’s going to take to kill a nomination here, so they should take pause,” Tillis reminds everyone.
Senator Tillis from North Carolina represents the aloof mindset of the Senate at large, and the detached mindset of the Republicans in the senate specifically.

Unfortunately, so extensive and varied is the vote fraud, and so entrenched is the Deep State, that — in my opinion — no one even “wins” a primary unless there are vectors (some sort of Kompromat or financial corruption) to limit the free agency of that person.
The primaries and in effect black mail are how the Uniparty (both branches) in each state control outcomes. Each state’s party elite determine who gets on the ballot and who gets votes. The machines are not just programmed for federal presidential elections and only to help Dims get elected. Responsive to the actual voter and will of the people is a sham.
The 2024 elections if they had not been tampered with were a blowout landslide across the country. The Uniparty deep state must keep up the appearance of close to equal parity between the two parties. Madison warned about the party system taking hold of US politics in the early days of the Republic.
Common sense tells one who watches polls that the true numbers of die hard liberal voters is around the 30% or less numbers. Does our Congress and State houses reflect those numbers? No because the deep state wants behind the scenes control. The appearance that government is responsive to the voter must be maintained to avoid sunlight and a resulting tsunami of politcal pressure.

A Grand Jury can be setup by We the People at the County level, at any time. It only takes twelve-twenty five patriots to gather grievances, and evidence of the accused betrayal/treason. NOTE: My overly simplified summation here may need some adjustments for your particular area, but this is still our Constitutional Right, and Duty to do so. Please watch the video again. If anyone is pushing the primary drama, it’s the Fox News commentator. Tillis almost ignores the primary shit talk and says nothing to align himself with Murkowski. His comments are pragmatic and constructive. Perhaps I’m naive, but I’m usually adept at reading between the lines and I think Tillis (and many others) deserve to have their comments taken at face value. So what if he said it only takes 4 votes to crush a nominee, his greater message is that the nominees will have to survive ridiculous questions from the opposing side with fantastic allegations in some cases (recall Kavanaugh), so let’s groom and vet these nominees and build a case for each one that solidifies consent.
Just in case someone misconstrues my comments above, I’ll make this clear. Murkowski is absolutely pathetic and her recent comments on primaries are hysterical; that clip of Murkowski is a joke and I can’t believe the interviewer on stage wasn’t taken aback at how whiny Murkowski sounded. Primaries are a democratic process – it’s utterly hilarious Murkowski practically cried on stage about this. I don’t see Tillis’ in anyway validating Murkowski or undermining Trump. He presents himself very differently and I hope he is true to his word in supporting President Trump.

Although this is the case in most of the states, but not all, the Kentucky legislature changed the method of appointment a few years ago. Now, a committee of the party of the U.S. Senator in KY would give the governor three names of Republicans and the governor would have to choose one of those.
Kentucky state law requires the Governor to fill opening with the same party that left.
