Commercial drones cannot stay aloft for more than 30 minutes. The “drones” being sighted stay aloft for several hours, so forget about that.
If the US Government is testing a new generation of drones, then why test them over areas with a high population density? … and attract so much attention?

If the answers no, what are you getting stressed for? By remaining unstressed (calm) you may help keep the person alive, or at least aid their transition.
If its yes, again remaining calm (UNstressed may save your life, or at least have you in a better frame of mind for the journey.

That is true, but the problem is that a lot of people are getting stressed over this “drone invasion”. I am seeing quite a bit of it, and its probably jarring for some people to come to the realization that the US FERAL government is not omnipotent. A lot of us have been living in a “bubble of invincibility” for a long time.
My objective with that post is to walk through the reasons as to why no one should stress over it. I hope that it puts some people’s minds at ease.

Purely speculation, but it looks to me that electronic countermeasures could be causing the missiles to malfunction and go off course where they then self-detonate. A Laser system could cause similar effects by other means and would not be visible if in the infrared range either.

A car or SUV sized drone could plausibly be powered by a genset filled with high octane aviation fuel and conceivably have enough power to spare for comms gear, electronic countermeasure systems, propulsion, laser system, etc. But you do not have to take my word for it. Some drones, particularly larger ones that are electric/gas hybrids can stay airborne for many hours.
The commonly noted “car sized drones”, will almost certainly not be just battery powered vehicles.
