I do still hold out hope that a handful of the top offenders are held accountable for their actions. Without that there’s still the 2 tiered justice system where the ‘elite’ commit crimes with impunity.
Agree – it’s more important that the next four years works to get enough people aware to recognize and prevent ops like these from happening again. If punishment of the perpetrators serves as a warning for future actors to make them fearful of doing more of this, so be it, but it is more important as a means to an end (prevention), not an act of revenge or even justice.

One of the most interesting stories about Chappaquiddick states that Teddy didn’t even know Mary Jo was in the car, that she had crawled into a parked car to sleep off a hangover, and then Teddy took off in that car with some Senator’s wife. After the car went in the water, Teddy and his illicit paramour escaped, only later to realize later that someone else was in the car. So, according to this story, Teddy wasn’t guilty of manslaughter, “only” a scandalous adultery.
Ok I am going to tell it, like it was told to me a long time ago. A friend’s grandfather was in law enforcement on the island and was one of the first there and through pulling the car out of the drink. Along with several others close to the situation, the round table of what went down was told as follows;
Teddy was out at this rental on a little out of the way, odd part of the island. All of Bobby’s other posse was out there drinking and having their own wake so to speak. There was a regatta that weekend I think, the occasion for the get together.
He and Mary Joe leave together and drive a ways down the road parking on the side. A deputy pulled up because he thought there was car trouble. After talking to the couple he knew who it was and they were likely parking.
It spooked Kennedy, also the last ferry across the little channel was leaving soon, so he told Mary Jo to drive the car to the ferry and meet him back at his motel, where he was staying. Kennedy was going to swim the channel, it was not far at all and the hotel was not far from the ferry landing.
To get to it though, she had to drive the Oldsmobile, across that rickety, narrow bridge with no guard rails. It had the runners you had to place the care exactly on. He did not think about her not knowing how to drive across the old bridge and she probably did not either. There was also a fair amount of libation involved.
It takes him about 15 to 20 min to make the jog, swim the channel (he was fit and young then), he goes to the night clerk to get a key to his room. Clerk and another guy said he came in wet, during the plausible time for his trip. Absolutely no panic or distress his car was in the drink, much less someone dying in it. Goes to his room and passes out waiting for her.
He didn’t now there was a problem until his room phone started ringing the next morning.
By that time the Kennedy damage control machine was in overdrive. Conjured half assed cover stories were already being released and he had to go with it. He had to go with the lie they served up. There was no going back.
When that car was pulled up and the doors opened, all the seals between the door and car were dry. No one had opened a door or escaped from that car. Had he been in his car with her, he would have died to. He would not have likely been able to get those doors open.
He was condemned with having to live with it, but worse a cover up that no one had consulted him on before serve it up. He just was not strong enough to overrule the family machine.
Not taking up for him, not making excuses about anything he did. After hearing these guys talk about it that were there. I think they were being very honest. There is a documentary that tells this but I cant remember what it is called. I got to hear about it in the late 80’s.

My concern is that we will see the IC start anonymously leaking/planting defamatory material on the group President DJT is surrounding himself. This group will be limited in comparison to the govt IC and be susceptible to dirty tricks.

I brought up Shiff refusing to release Atkinson’s testimony and the first day the Republicans retook the House and asked them to declassify it and release it to to public. I contacted my Congressman 3 times on this matter and attempted to primary him because he refused to even answer my emails. I also have mentioned this multiple times here on the Conservative Tree House. Finally we the public will see Atkinson’s testimony. I have also made multiple requests that the unredacted FISA warrant on Carter Page which Senator Warner checked to to the congressional SKIFF then left the document unsecured and his assistant took pictures of each page on his phone and E-Mailed the UNREDACTED FISA warrant to a reporter who subsequently shared it with most of the legacy news outlets. There must be at least hundreds if not many more reporters who have seen this warrant. We the public were on shown a highly redacted version when the DOJ was caught and was forced to release it. If we can’t see the unredacted version then those who did should be charged under espionage act.

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby direct the following:
Section 1. Declassification and Release. At my request, on December 30, 2020, the Department of Justice provided the White House with a binder of materials related to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation. Portions of the documents in the binder have remained classified and have not been released to the Congress or the public. I requested the documents so that a declassification review could be performed and so I could determine to what extent materials in the binder should be released in unclassified form.
I determined that the materials in that binder should be declassified to the maximum extent possible. In response, and as part of the iterative process of the declassification review, under a cover letter dated January 17, 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation noted its continuing objection to any further declassification of the materials in the binder and also, on the basis of a review that included Intelligence Community equities, identified the passages that it believed it was most crucial to keep from public disclosure. I have determined to accept the redactions proposed for continued classification by the FBI in that January 17 submission.
I hereby declassify the remaining materials in the binder. This is my final determination under the declassification review and I have directed the Attorney General to implement the redactions proposed in the FBI’s January 17 submission and return to the White House an appropriately redacted copy.
My decision to declassify materials within the binder is subject to the limits identified above and does not extend to materials that must be protected from disclosure pursuant to orders of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court and does not require the disclosure of certain personally identifiable information or any other materials that must be protected from disclosure under applicable law. Accordingly, at my direction, the Attorney General has conducted an appropriate review to ensure that materials provided in the binder may be disclosed by the White House in accordance with applicable law.

Wasn’t this the “binder” that the FBI was searching for at Mari Lago raid?
