Talk about a person who continues failing upward and constantly getting applause for her failures. Wow. Harmeet Dhillon is the opposite of Marc Elias. Dhillon professionally loses every election case, Elias wins.
After being specifically appointed to focus on the Arizona republican votes, and only to focus on Arizona for 2024, Mrs Dhillon lost every legal election challenge and close ballot contest in the state. All of them. Again, just like the Georgia senate races in 2021 and Arizona race in 2020, Dhillon has nothing to show for the tens of millions in fees paid by the RNC and Trump campaign.
President Trump puts her in charge of future elections via being in charge of the Civil Rights Division of the DOJ. Almost as if, some entity in the background wanted to ensure the MAGA movement would never gain long-term election integrity benefit. Imagine that.
Seriously. Can anyone point to a significant election win that can be attributed to Harmeet Dhillon? She was specifically assigned to Arizona to focus her efforts for 2024, and it’s a hot mess in AZ again. She might be friends with Pam Bondi as she was with Ronna McDaniel, that doesn’t mean competency on task.
This is likely not a popular opinion amid a particular part of the MAGA movement. I can be objectively fair with a review of competence, but Dhillon continues getting more responsibility with each failure.
I'm extremely honored by President Trump's nomination to assist with our nation's civil rights agenda. It has been my dream to be able to serve our great country, and I am so excited to be part of an incredible team of lawyers led by @PamBondi. I cannot wait to get to work!
— Harmeet K. Dhillon (@pnjaban) December 10, 2024

Make it make sense…all over at X everyone is celebrating and praising her….here I am mumbling FOR WHAT? WHY is she so dang popular with MAGA. I am very disappointed in my fellow MAGA-ites…they are either plainly stupid, or opening pretending…either answer is frightening…
Well they don’t know. They just can’t be on the Trump train band wagon. Plus there is so much positive energy it is difficult for some to throw caution into the wind. “Debbie downers” if you will. I’ll take what I can get and hope we don’t mess up the midterms
“I’ll take what I can get and hope we don’t mess up the midterms” … Ooookaaaay…
Restate had nothing but praise for her in their glowing article about the nomination as well. I started to make a comment about her failure in AZ and thought why bother.
I’m definitely shaking my d head on this nomination.
Redstate is a founding member of Con Inc
She was a popular legal analyst while on FOX, as was Trey Gowdy. Gowdy spun out of the T.E.A. Party and Dhillon my have grabbed the coat tails of that dying movement. It is a new MAGA Movement now and poor performance will not be tolerated. We The People have spoken: No more DC shenanigans.
I found the same thing yesterday over at Power line. I don’t think I recall one commenter with anything remotely negative.
Power who? Hang out on neocon sites, get neocon hot takes. Are Hinderaker and Co still pushing the ISW line that Ukraine is winning the war?
Just because one claims the MAGA mantle does not mean they are discerning. There are plenty in the MAGA movement that buy into everything without applying their critical thinking skills in a cult-like manor. I’m glad to have them on board, but they aren’t going to shine a positive light on the movement with their lack of depth of understanding.
Share the Treehouse with these people. While visiting Other websites just cut and paste a Treehouse special from SD. Treehouse special being ANY post SD puts out.
That said even the apostles had to start somewhere putting the gospel out to us heathens. Peace to you all loyal Treepers 🙏🏽❤️
At some point the person at the top needs to be held accountable. Maybe he’ll put out a tweet asking himself why he chose her?
Patience, people. I appreciate the opinions of people, but I also retain a heck of a lot of trust of PDJT. The picks of Harmeet, Bondi, and others, seem blatantly not intuitive, but I have a sense there is a strategic purpose we don’t see.
On the other hand, I never going back to a place of Trust the Plan either.
We the People are awakened. We Trump supporters are still holding him and everyone else who claims to be MAGA on a short leash. Many embarrassed democrats and leftists coming over to MAGA, but they don’t get free reign.
The public dialogue of the American people gets better and better and more on the money and in line with Truth. PDJT is responsible for a lot of that as is Sundance.
Let us count our blessings, be grateful, and keep our powder dry. 🙂
We don’t need a saint. we are ok with a ‘born again’ advocate who gets that the 2020 election was stolen (starting with that) and will work to fix it. there are many people who come to MAGA that don’t have perfect backgrounds. In fact that includes almost everyone including me. we get it.
Not directed specifically at you. I’m taking advantage of the thought train in this and many other threads since 5 nov.
Just asking: there appears to be a certain bipolar mindset here.
How can the following two be consistent:
One. Too many MAGA types “plainly stupid or openly pretending”
Two. “We the people”
This “pretending” meme is verging into hubris that is going to backfire major league. MAGA cannot nurture ideas and observations that don’t hue to what the unengaged sitting on the sidelines feel is ground truth? Different opinions can’t be forwarded inside the MAGA tent? I don’t agree with every post made by someone with contrarian opinions. But the hustings should be free and open. These royal “WEs” are a mask. The “pretending” mask is dangerously close to what has historically occurred in many countries that ended up in authoritarian regimes as well.
Anyone who disagrees with received opinion/inference is a joker who doesn’t/can’t drink from the Golden Chalice of Truth? What a crock of feces. It’s not a smart path to building and sustaining long-term coalitions.
Exercise reservations? Sure. But this attacking posters with differing points-of-view as clueless neophytes who aren’t blessed with magical clairvoyance into “truth”? That’s exactly what the Left does. Exactly.
PDJT is making his decisions. Some appear wise. Some do not. Register the concerns. Just don’t “pretend” that only the favored few have a hold on “truth”. That’s one of the weakest arguments imaginable – absent knowledge of the gameplan/strategies/priorities in play. It also tip toes dangerously close to ends justifying means type reasoning.
As for the royal “We” – like everything in life, highly doubtful that everyone agrees on every line item in personal agendas. It should be obvious by now that the resources simply aren’t there to fix the huge mess our national politics have led to over the last century – not in two to three years. Trump is working a hugely complicated problem space.
There will be failures. I will be content if he makes large headway in a few of the major areas that require a thorough house cleaning – and lays the groundwork for the next set of Patriots charged with leading America back to its historical track.
The apocalyptic nonsense on both sides of the fence needs to take a back seat. Getting things done now is the immediate imperative – and it sure looks like PDJT is way ahead of the power curve on that one.
Addendum: I have never been a committed PDJT “acolyte”. That said, given all the counter-vailing forces? Wow!
Ok Shipley.
Said one of the “truth” tellers.
I don’t know who you are but I loved your comment, Sir!
TLDR…
We must all be considerate of the reading impaired!
1. I am a PDJT acolyte.
2. One of my biggest disappointments is Kari Lake not winning a position in AZ. Dhillon is at the center of that.
Given the above, I’m not happy with this appointment. But President Trump has his reasons.
Also not happy with Bondi and Rubio, and still not a JD fan. But President Trump has his reasons.
It is also a fact of life that I won’t agree on everything even with people I admire. Same goes for everyone else.
What we need to do at this point is support President Trump but keep an eagle eye on the appointments. As soon as one steps out of line, we need to scream long and loud. Look at President Trump’s record. He doesn’t hide it when someone is not doing the job.
Re: AZ, I’m starting to wonder if the cartels have more power/control than we know. This might become one of the most serious fights.
I’m rowing in the same boat as you.
The captain of the ship is PDJT. History has given him that role at this time.
He has weathered multiple storms. There will be others. I intend to row in the same direction as he – until such time as all the signals communicate a sinking ship!
Now is not the time to up the tempo for public beatings of all those not rowing in perfect synchronization with the “We” of the moment (that is politics after all) or the non-pretenders.
Keep eyes on target.
I think I’d just about rather have Kamala Harris than Harmeet Dhillon. AZ is just one of the reasons why. On the other hand, Patrick Byrne said that Dhillon was shown some things recently and has changed her tune. On the other, other hand, Byrne is inclined to talk hopefully about people until they blatantly show how bad they are, and he has been wrong about things like that before.
Regarding cartels, listen to this about the Venezuelan government (which is a cartel) infiltration in the US https://patrickbyrne.locals.com/post/6391748/4-traitors-to-the-usa-some-other-shady-people-and-donald-trump
Yeah. Ok.
I think Harmeet Dhillon is a very suboptimal choice BUT I think President Trumps opinion carries more weight than mine. Trump has already demonstrated his agility to change staff personnel when someone fails to meet expectations or simply fails by delaying / obstructing POTUS agenda.
Whatever is going on, President Trump must believe he owes her a shot at this position, possibly, regardless of his personal opinion of her ultimate abilities. I believe he tries to be fair and gives people a chance, and then replaces them if they fail. We question why he gives them the ability to fail even once, when that failure could be catastrophic, and he has such a limited time to execute his very densely packed agenda. Only President Trump can answer that, but I still give him the benefit of the doubt in every move.
Hogwash . All of it
Deep!
Did someone appoint you monitor of the site?
So is this more 4D chess? Nope. Just keeping the status quo IMHO.
She seems okay to me. Arizona’s problem is the McCain-ites. That gremlin put many of his acolytes in the state throughout his years.
The cartels completely control AZ…that needs to end.
Elections are won in the courts… both pre-election and post-election. We got some court victories in 2024… BUT NOT NEARLY ENOUGH OVER THE PAST FOUR OR FIVE YEARS… which is the point.
I thought she was either an acolyte of McCain’s or they were both acolytes of someone higher in the Uniparty.
Agreed. Not that I know anything but past performance predicts future outcomes……
Trust in PDJT sometimes echoes Q level obedience and castigation for those who try and look at the Forrest from 100 yards not five feet….. Yes I support Trump but sometimes it feels controlled and opposed to what is needed……
There is only one in whom man should trust and he rose from the dead over 2000 years ago. He is in charge, so one’s best bet is to put their faith in him, not President Trump. Pray that Jesus guides Trump and his chosen ones to an end that pleases Him.
Amen Dozer Amen! 🙏🏽🎯
That’s not the point.
The point is that he is the guy at this point in history who is leading the battle.
No one, I think, is arguing blind obedience. It’s more about tone deafness. Everyone is needed in this war. There is room for varying opinions/concerns, etc. So long as it doesn’t turn into the proverbial Polish firing squad.
We’ve been “handled” just like PDJT for years now. Hiveminds are never a good thing and questioning authority is prudent especially authorities you typically trust.
The Jan 6 prisoners are treated worse than many of the African slaves were in the US.
Will the DOJ civil rights help restore justice in the US, clear the name of those arrested
and seek commensurate punishment for those involved with unjustly sending these people to jail?
Not under HD
Yes, it is an abomination that is unconstitutional and we all may never recover from the shame before the entire world for what the government has done to these J6 captives.
Is that a big giddy smile I see on the faces of Mark Elias, Mary McCord, and the rest of the Lawfare Gang?
Or maybe just a hand covered smirk with a twinkle in their eyes?
They WIN every time and r’s LOSE every time.
But in the end, God will win. It is best to make sure you’re on His side.
That one.
Pretty discouraging.
I hoped for Catherine Engelbrecht-jailed fighter of the MAGA movement for voter integrity.
Whoever is advising the President has allegiance to the blob.
tax2much said: “Arizona is the shining example of what is wrong with our election system and absolutely nothing has been done to fix the situation by the Republicans. It means that 2026 is at risk of a mid-term disaster and 2028 will undo all MAGA gains. But enjoy the champagne while you can.”
That point can’t be emphasized enough. Too Big to Rig worked for the 2024 presidential contest. But there is only one Donald J. Trump, and so Too Big to Rig will not be successful in any future election, either for the presidency or for the downballot races.
We should look at another consequence of the failure of Republicans to work proactively to defeat election fraud in Arizona, in California, and in other states in the face of a threat whose dimensions, and whose methods and means of fraud execution, were completely understood two years ahead of the 2024 election cycle.
One consequence is that a shining star in the MAGA universe, Kari Lake, is now politically dead, for all practical purposes. Lake has now been removed from the Arizona political scene. She no longer has a political future either in her own state or nationally within the larger MAGA movement.
Yet another consequence is that at least four Senate races in other states and some number of House races were lost to election fraud, races which should have been won.
Any number of voices have been heard inside election integrity circles that post-election lawsuits cannot succeed in overturning a stolen election. Because once a fraudulent ballot has been counted, it is too late to challenge the fraud.
As it concerns Kari Lake, she herself is partially responsible for what happened in Arizona in 2024. She and her campaign staff had to have been warned that relying on post-election lawsuits to carry the day had little chance of success. And yet those warnings were ignored, with the consequences we have all seen.
At any rate, with the selection of Harmeet Dhillon for this DOJ position, there is every possibility we will be seeing little or nothing in the way of highly proactive measures being taken against election fraud ahead of the 2026 and 2028 election cycles. Everything that will be done in the next two years to further the MAGA agenda is now at high risk for being quickly lost.
This^^^^ great comment….I keep waiting for anything, something, ANYthing to happen in the way of election integrity when DJT gets into office…he must have Truthed about 10 times before the election about voting fraud would be jailed…with this appointment of Harmeet the perennial loser I have lost a lot of hope…I am now longer a “trust the DJT” plan person with so many bad, obviously “payback”, picks now in such key positions….
Ahead of the 2024 election cycle, the argument was being made inside the state Republican Party establishments and inside the county Republican organizations that focusing too much highly visible, highly proactive attention on the problem of election fraud would have the unintended effect of discouraging Republican voter turnout.
The argument went like this: If many Republican-inclined voters think their vote won’t count, why bother to vote?
That argument was an excuse for not doing what had to be done highly visibly and highly proactively to limit the impact of fraud as much as we possible can in the absence of nationally-enforced reforms aimed at ensuring the integrity of our elections.
IMHO, we got lucky with Too Big to Rig as it applies to the presidential contest. It could have easily gone the other way had the Democrats chosen a credible candidate for president.
We should have had thoroughly solid majorities in both the Senate and in the House. The fact that we have only tenuous majorities in both is a direct reflection of the Republican Party’s lack of commitment to fixing a thoroughly broken election process.
This is why we need to take the Republican Party from the ground up. https://www.precinctstrategy.com/
It’s the left wing judges and the leftie legal profession here. If Lake can’t make headway after the election, why would she do better BEFORE the election? You still need to use the very same court system
Callmelennie: “It’s the left wing judges and the leftie legal profession here. If Lake can’t make headway after the election, why would she do better BEFORE the election? You still need to use the very same court system.”
Yes, the judicial system is largely controlled by the left. And you still need the court system, at least for now. That said, the judicial system can be influenced to some extent by the pressure of public opinion.
And so to make headway against a biased judicial system, you have to start very early before an election and be very highly visible to the public in making your case that the election process is being rigged ahead of the next election cycle.
This means generating the evidence on a more-or-less continuous basis and then publicizing that evidence at regular intervals well ahead of an election, so that the judicial system is being warned that its own complicity in election fraud is being watched closely and will suffer the consequences for that complicity in future judicial elections.
The incoming Trump Administration can greatly assist the process of highlighting and reforming a judiciary system which is directly and actively supporting election fraud. However, the fact that someone like Harmeet Dhillon has been chosen for the DOJ’s Civil Rights division puts Trump’s commitment to solving the problem considerably in doubt.
I rarely disagree with you Sundance, but I disagree with you on this one. I do not think that you are taking into account the corruption and group-think that exists in the judiciary. Dhillon is working in the belly of the beast, in communist West-Coast states. She was defeated in Arizona by a corrupt system. I am an attorney too–fighting tyranny on the West Coast. I’ve stared into the eyes of these judges in the Ninth Circuit. They live in a bubble literally and figuratively and are completely unaccountable. They are really really good at pretending. Even the Trump appointees are blinded by the group think culture that exists in the judiciary. To illustrate the degree of pretending that exists in the judiciary and in government lawyers in general, you can easily see how pervasive it is in the heart of conservative Texas. Now, 4 years after the 2020 election Sidney Powell was just this week vindicated in the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, and gets to keep her law license. She dared to challenge the sacred cow of computerized elections and the cabal almost took her down in the heart of conservative county. Note also the Senator John Cornyn, who you rightly castigate, was a long-time serving judge on the Texas Supreme Court. Mark Elias is talented, but he has gale force winds at his back. You cannot fault Dhillon for her record when she is one few west coast attorneys brave enough to storm the ramparts that have been erected in the judiciary to protect the establishment just like you cannot fault the patriots who lost at the Alamo. The same kind of institutional bias and corruption that you are so good at exposing in the executive and legislative branches also infects the judiciary. It is pervasive and smothering. And it is harder to root out. Unlike the executive and legislative branches, tyranny in the judiciary cannot be cut out with an electoral uprising that is too big to steal.
Good, insightful comment….question is do you think that Harmeet has the guts to make these kinds of moves that need to be done? I see her as a go along/get along type. I wish I saw her as a fighter but I see her as a cut and run type…I hope I am wrong…
She was evidently one of the most active and effective lawyers during the pandemic. That’s not going along to get along. In fact, the opposite.
Excellent points, and oddly reassuring. Thank you. What your comment implies is that we are embarking on a project of cultural change, which is much bigger than one man or woman or one political orientation. How long this will take is anybody’s guess, but what we know is that the change has already begun, not just here but globally, where the old world order is dying and will eventually be replaced by something new and, hopefully, much better.
The enlightenment project, i.e. liberalism, is collapsing, but it’s not surprising that a lot of people have yet to get the memo. It’s also true that part of the reason that the resulting leftism has become so prevalent is that it was pushed down our throats by the globalist commies who levered up zero-interest-rate dollars, creating fortunes out of nothing and using them to take over countries and companies, like Disney, to bribe judges and politicians, and to do many other things like push wokism in schools and universities. Those days are ending. Part of MAGA is its sovereigntism, which includes bringing those offshore dollars back, letting Europe and places like Syria stew in their own juices, and prioritizing our own business here at home.
The rule of law has suffered greatly through sloth, through the corruption that flows naturally from power, but also through its intentional destruction by the “light-bringer” and those who sent and installed him in 2008. But it’s not dead, and it’s clear that it is now being regenerated. Once it gets rolling, change may be swift, the way drunk driving, for example, became anathema in just a few short years. Or it may be slow and arduous. But it will happen.
Good on you to bring in the 9th Circuit. Most folks don’t know that AZ is in the same Circuit as the states in Coast Strip One
AZ, or more to the point, the city of Phoenix was certainly Red in the immediate post war era. That because huge numbers of self motivated WWII Gen people MIGRATED here and brought their conservatism with them. But there are no deep roots for this. So, the generation was more easily swayed by the culture rupture of the Seventies and onward. The two big cities have turned more liberal than people realize. The two AZ mega universities have turned out HUGE numbers of liberals in the past forty to fifty years
Thank You Mr. Joncus for all that you have done to further the cause of freeing the rodent state from tyranny.
I have my fingers crossed that by some miracle, your petition for rehearing Johnson v Kotek is granted.
“This is likely not a popular opinion amid a particular part of the MAGA movement.”
But there is much reinforcing fact behind it, Mike Davis.
You’re right Sundance. She fails upward. I don’t agree with this pick.
Also, wasn’t she one of the ones trying to get Trump kicked off the ballot in California until she got caught? She’s a backstabber. Why does Trump’s nominations all seem to be Fox News “contributors”? Is Hannity picking his cabinet? Sheesh…
“She might be friends with Pam Bondi as she was with Ronna McDaniel”
She was/is a DeSantis crony.
Isn’t Dhillon a donor too? Trump had to give her something. I bet he views the Civil Rights Dept as inconsequential. Even if she screws up ….. who cares.
Are you suggesting that he dominate Marc Elias instead?
I could not agree more. She talks a very convincing game. But in 2022 she assured us she had AZ locked down tight, there would be no shenanigans. The Dems then proceeded to steal the whole thing in broad daylight as we watched. I was beyond failure, it was catastrophic, shameful failure, and it cost Kari Lake the governorship. Harmeet then conveniently disappears, only to surface to throw her hat in the ring for the RNC chairmanship.
Read a couple of negatives about her earlier this am. Not too sure at this point what is to be gained with her nomination.
I’ve watched Harmeet do her PR thing since 2020 on all her Fox interviews and more. She’s a very smooth, controlled, calculating person who leaves you with the impression that all is well – nothiong to see her – she knows it all. Her “controlled’ affect creates a fog around the subject at hand – always polite but forceful in her statements – bottom line – she’s peeing on your back while telling you it’s raining.
Hahahahahahahahaaha………………………..
Hopefully the rotten trees are hiding the saplings of truth.
I’ll give Ms. Dillon this much: She’s good looking and talks the talk. That’s about it.
“…but Dhillon continues getting more responsibility with each failure.”
Has long been a characteristic of the run-of-the-mill GOP; it’s a feature, not a flaw, it’s the way movements are undermined.
President Trump is getting some bad advice from someone, or a group or someones. Best example is his statement that he will end birthright citizenship.
Birthright citizenship is guaranteed by the 14th Amendment, the Supreme Court has upheld the plain meaning of the Amendment’s words, and no president or congress can end it. It requires a constitutional amendment to change it. So whoever told 47 he can end it on “day one” has filled his head with nonsense. Heck, even Judge Nap says he can’t do anything about it.
I suspect the culprits are some yahoos from the Heritage Foundation. Please show the Heritage folks to the door at Maralago and throw away EVERY position paper and appointment recommendation they leave behind. Job one is knowing who to listen to, and they ain’t it. Where is Alan Dershowitz when we need him?
Respectfully, that is highly debatable.
The baby the illegal is carrying in her belly is not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States when she illegally crosses the border or even when the Chicom woman who gets a visa to visit the U.S. and has a baby, the baby is still under the jurisdiction of China
If I remember correctly, the jurisdiction language was intended to carve out Native Americans as non-citizens.
Even if it were debatable, anchor babies and Dreamers are a small segment of the illegal problem. There are tens of millions of straight-up criminals and gang members and layabouts and others with uncomplicated illegal status to be rounded up and deported. 47 should not be expending any political capital on anchor babies when the Middle East is on fire, Ukraine needs to be settled, tariffs applied, tax revisions to pass, you get the picture. It makes me question: when a group would have 47 taking on anchor babies as a “day one” issue, do they REALLY have his best interests at heart, or are they working their own form of false-friend never-Trump sabotage. Et tu Heritage?
These so-called “Dreamers” are real people who unfortunately were either smuggled or born in this country without foreknowledge or consent. Decades have passed with their starting businesses paying taxes and even holding public offices. Who do you blame for this dilemma? Of course, the smugglers, and parents come to mind, but our government and various businesses that took advantage of these people are first in line to blame. Empathy and conclusive pardon are called for, but that is only my opinion. This is another big one for the Supreme Court. Anything Congress tries to do would be unconstitutional without an amendment to such.
He’s probably in hiding, but as far as the 14th goes, we need to try to understand its original intent. Post-Civil War amendment to legalize Negroes as citizens so that they could vote. Otherwise, every Tom Dick and Harry such as visitors or Ambassadors having deliverable pregnancies in this country would be producing American Citizens. Common sense tells us that was not the original intent, nor should it ever be. Executive order won’t fly, but this situation is past due for being tested before the Supreme Court. The birth of a child of a citizen under the jurisdiction of the United States shall be deemed an American citizen. Legal is the implied key implication here. So, folks who are allowed via their entry application and have children born in the USA would fall into that category. I hope that someone in the Trump administration will bring this before the Supreme Court and have it resolved finally.
A hopeful thought. There may be something uniquely formidable about the Democrats in my state. For example it managed to get an extreme leftist named Janet Napolitano elected gov, in a state that was clearly Red at the time. Then they deposed and smeared a Right of center governor in Ev Mecham with ease. These people are ruthless. I don’t know how they do it
And Harmeet is not the first Repuican to be bested by the Maricopa electoral Mafia. They were essential to the 2020 steal, and stole again in 2022 and 2024. And there were shenanigans in 2016 and 2018. I, personally, was not able to vote in 2016 primary because some glitch caused a four hour wait to vote .. in a primary election!
So, if AZ is your only ammunition, don’t lose heart. Something not right here. Could be AZ’s “more RINO than we realise” Republicans
I’m a thinking money buys what the cartels can’t totally deliver. The cartels deliver what the money can’t buy… You get bought or.. nough said!
Win some lose some.
Ephesians 6:
10 ¶ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand firm against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the lords of this age, rulers of this darkness, against spiritual wickedness in the heavens.
Lord, we bind the thief in Jesus’ Name, Amen!
Amen 🙏🏽! ❤️
Agree. She oversaw hundreds of lawyers that were watching the 2020 election. I’m still wondering where they were.
At the local pub.
Considering these are all nominees, shouldn’t the focus be on getting the relevant committee members to EXPOSE all of these people before confirmation. Maybe, make them to toxic an appointment for even a recess appointment. There’s some real opportunity here if we have even just one committee member opening up their skeleton closets.
A few more party picks and the masses won’t know the difference between the old party and the new.
Just like last time..
The repeat is obviously in play. Even if most can’t see it.

Sorry wrong thread.
Yesterday when I looked at his unmasking at the hostel in NY, I thought to myself that he was not the same guy. Close resemblance but not exactly. Strange. The smile is quite different from all those hosted from his past.
I really enjoyed watching Harmeet and Rona do the ole pincher maneuver to keep Mike Lindell out of RNC leadership <sarc>
I remember this too! She’s a fricking snake!
When I was in Corp world, we referred to it as “F*** Up and Move Up”.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Peter principle. Read the book. Widespread throughout the corporate world, especially within the government. Billions wasted. Just keep kicking the can down the road.OPM, no problem.
I can understand the evidentiary based cynicism. That said, I’d think it likely that she’d bring with her (or find) an aggressive, sharp tool for the needed work, though election reform itself should be led legislatively in Congress. It should be the first piece of legislation brought in the House and the filibuster should be blown up in the Senate to get it passed. We will see just how ruthless the Senate leaders collectively will be. I don’t know if that subject matter can be taken up on reconciliation but one way or the other it must get done. Nationwide voter ID, limits on mail-in ballots, mandatory voter registration list culling of old outdated registrations, etc.
I don’t know if Congress can legally force the States to comply with standardized election procedures, even those of National significance, due to the 10th amendment clause. It will take an amendment to the Constitution to get this done and I would think that every patriot would be in favor of that action. In addition, the 17th amendment has become an albatross to our democracy and should come up for repeal thereby giving lost power back to the States. The Senate was originally meant to be controlled by the individual States and Senators subject to recall by the State Legislature.
Okay, how about this for convoluted logic. If she has a history of failure at her assignments, and she is nominated to be assistant AG for the DOJ Civil Rights division, then we hope she fails at it. I believe that Civil Rights has morphed into nothing more than DEI or affirmative action. Since DEI is little more than reverse discrimination, we hope she fails at advancing it. IOW, being bad at something bad, is inherently good.
My impression of Harmeet Dhillon has always been that she is attractive and media-ready. Comments (pro and con) about her performance in Arizona aren’t conclusive. Her office – Asst AG for Civil Rights doesn’t seem to be a priority for Trump, but cleaning up the election process is important to me. Are there appointed positions below her that could be filled with competent fighters? Would it be enough for her to be the face in the office, or would she actively sabotage the work of competent assistants? Or better yet, would she be able to work with good assistants? Who are the most competent people that should be appointed for her Assistant AG position?
President Trump has prioritized the border and inflation, but nothing is stopping smart MAGA election advocates from focusing on choosing the best person. I’m one of the Stupid MAGA that has been referred to in comments, so would appreciate some guidance on names of MAGA attorneys who are as smart and intense as Marc Elias and would be good candidates for Assistant AG for Civil Rights. What would be the best point of contact to influence President Trump?
If it it would be worthwhile to replace Dhillon, some MAGA influencers could contact some of the Alt Media personalities that can get out the phone calls to the right people.
If Syrian govt can be taken out with a persistent campaign, maybe Arizona McCain repubs and dems could be taken out also.
Yuck.
This just may be Harmeet’s hammer to swing. She has gotten beaten bad out there on the West coast with the tyrannical left judicial branch and liberal ideology.
Maybe she has this and we don’t know it yet. But her civil rights division can knockdown election interference in a big way. If she applies some law fare tactics and vengefulness this could be good.
Pay back can be a Medivac or a hell hath no fury etc etc. God Bless 🙏🏽❤️
Tony Buzbee’s team would be the type of lawyers I’d choose to pluck the Rino losers from our midst. He should be AG and you’d have no nonsense.
If Trumps choice had to be a woman. Ashleigh Merchant or others from the Georgia team would have made more sense. Results matter. Point being there are lots of choices but someone is picking from the same old RINO politard basket of Lucy’s.
Can she spell J6?
at least we got Homan
Exposes her if she doesn’t get the job done?
Does this mean that President Elect Trump is going to appoint failures again? Just asking.

She truly failed us in Arizona – multiple times! Can Arizona corruption be that difficult legally to fix?!
“This is likely not a popular opinion amid a particular part of the MAGA movement. I can be objectively fair with a review of competence, but Dhillon continues getting more responsibility with each failure.”
It’s called the “Peter Principal”, people in a hierarchy tend to rise to “a level of respective incompetence”.
I don’t get anything Trump does, I just hope it all works out because we aren’t likely to get another chance.
Ugh… I typo’d my own username, it’s going to be ‘one of those days’.
Agree. She fails upward for some reason. Look at the mess the California GOP is in. It’s been a useless political party for years. If she didn’t cause it, she didn’t help and leave it better than she found it. That is a huge failure. Imagine if she had been in charge of the RNC instead of Lara Trump. Life would be very different for all of us now.
I am not a fan of Dhillon’s. She is lukewarm MAGA. But didn’t she do well in CA. years ago?
You seem to have disdain for her. I don’t see her as any more fake to tow the establishment than let’s say SHSanders who gave the speech ‘time for a new generation’ from the Gov mansion against Trump and FOR Tricki Nikki and DeSimp.
