This is too funny. For President Trump at Notre Dame, it’s an ordinary walk to his seat, except something happened.
It starts out with Poland’s President Andrzej Duda standing up to greet President Donald Trump. They are friends, and Duda is one of the EU heads of state that is seriously thrilled to see President Trump return (Hungary’s Orban is another). However, after Duda stands things get funny because all the other dignitaries then feel obligated to stand and greet President Trump.
President Trump ended up turning his simple walk to his seat, into a reception line of foreign dignitaries who stood at attention to greet him. I cannot stop laughing because it’s just so epic. WATCH:

Narcissists and egotists fear being exposed by someone who has what they crave yet will never have themselves because they believe they can gain respect by force. Which is why it was fascinating for me to watch President Trump’s interaction with each one who greeted him individually as he walked the “receiving line”.
He has a great gift of being able to connect. Call it what you like…charisma perhaps…but it is genuine because, simply put, he likes people no matter what station in life they may occupy. And that is a powerful attribute, like empathy, which truly great leaders have.
So he will give them what they yearn for…respect in all his dealings and interactions with them. And in so doing, I hope that what you predict, accurate for people such as they are generally speaking, doesn’t come to pass. Because I believe President Trump is himself a force of nature such as we’ve not seen in our lifetimes.
Personal relationships are the foundations of his success. I think that is what we witnessed today as well. He’s building. That is what he does best. And from where I am sitting I think he’s off to a superb start.
Well stated, Betsy. I do think (if not the leaders of the countries) the people of Europe have a sense of doom, and are glad our President Trump is back. Let us hope manliness finally makes a comeback. I’m hopeful on that track for our country, and I am hoping it rubs off on Europe.

I have to admit that I was seriously concerned about DJT’s safety and security prior to his visit to Paris. January 20th can’t come soon enough.
