I know this about Pres Trump – he respects the enlisted more than the Flag Officers, at least in the military as currently composed.
It is time for fundamental change of culture to what we once were – the best reason for a SecDef Hegseth.

That’s great, but at the end of the day, the SecDef has to run one of the largest, if not the largest businesses in the world, and when not doing that has to run grand strategy. Not sure infantryman background is the best for that.
