“This was no small thing, to restore a republic after it had fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may have been that our task was impossible. Yet, if we did not try then how would we know it could not be done? And if we did not try, it most certainly would not be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, would have been lost.”
“But I tell you this: We did not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we made with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from this day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.”

Why can the government do this when no one living here can run their household that way? The CRs need to stop they are adding a trillion dollars every year to the deficit! The Constitution requires an annual budget not a CR which started under obama in 2009!!!
There is a famous quote, something about democracy is doomed when leaders realize they can vote themselves money from the Treasury.
Alexander Fraser Tytler –
https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/108530-a-democracy-cannot-exist-as-a-permanent-form-of-government
Great thing were a Democratic Republic.
Repealing the 17th Amendment would move us closer to the original construct.
Apparently not great enough…they’ve spent us into $35 trillion of debt.
just hit 36 trillion
We are a Constitutional Republic…..at least that’s what we are supposed to be.
A “democracy is run by people and a republic is run by the laws of a constitution.”
Big difference.
Or maybe this is what is going?
💯👍for this one! Thank you annieoakley for the song link. Love it!
Not just the leaders, but the people voting for the leaders who are giving away “other people’s money” to those voters!
And didn’t Johnson promise in his acceptance speech that he would guarantee an actual budget this year?
Ah ha, a well dressed thief with a gentlemanly manner, and is a liar to boot. Always trust your gut, none here at CTH ever thought anything different about “Get Shorty.”
He’s a younger version of McTurdle.
Where in the Constitution require a budget??
Article 1 Sec 9
“…a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money…”
Trust God. Fear not.
A statement is not a budget. The Constitution does not require a budget, at least not as we understand it. The “enumerated” powers IS the budget…that is, the list of objects the federal government may address are the only objects they are authorized to spend money on. Obviously if the Constitution does not give the authority to address a subject (object), then there is no lawful authority to spend money on it. Make sense??
For example: there is no authority to address the subject of “transportation” for the nation as a whole in the Constitution. Accordingly, spending money on, or regulating transportation is not authorized.
However, the subject of an army and a navy are listed specifically, so they are authorized objects which can be addressed…and funded.
I believe it’s in the article just before the IRS, FBI, CIA, articles.
And all those are right after “what to do in an emergency….”
If we used our Constitution and what is or is not in it as a guide, pruning our government would easily put us back on budget and then some.
You and all who do not have one should get booklet….THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES at…. constitutionreader.com
House of Representatives is in charge of the money collected from what used to be tarriffs. Direct taxation didn’t happen until 1913 when Woodrow Wilson (an Academic Democrat) was the President of the United States.
If they actually ran the list of Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security with the same type of system they check voter rolls, they could save some money. Also check everyone over 100 and see how many family members have not reported a death and are stealing the money. Seize their property to pay back theft.
The relatives brought in by illegal aliens! And even if they’re legal immigrants, if they didn’t contribute they don’t draw!
When my wife and I signed up for Social Security the rather large Social Security Building was packed! We were about the only white English speaking couple there! This is near Houston. The rest of the elderly people there signing up were Hispanics, Asians, Indians from India, Pakistanis, et al and none of them spoke English so they had to wait for an interpreter to sign up. My guess is not one of them worked a day in their life in America and didn’t contribute one dime to Social Security!!! I also guess they’re getting about the same amount of SS that I get and I worked here for more than 50 years contributing to SS!!! That’s just one of the big problems of SS, paying out to so many people who never worked here!!!! JMO
They probably get more $$$ than you when they’re paid more per child!
They get waaaay more than any citizen can get. Language barrier is reason.
We straightened a few problems out on the battlefield of Vietnam. The odd part is there were NO illegals in any line! Drill sergeants got some of them corrected, but blanket Party stuff carried the most clout! Once you set an example, the rest of the idiots got the message!
If 20 push-ups with a backpack on and an M-16 across your hands didn’t work too well, a mile run did the trick! I pity the poor SOB that caused it as there would be a lot of questions asked and action taken back at the barracks!
It happens, I’ve seen it.
Plus, checks how many went right from unemployment to Soc Sec Disability keep the money rolling in.
Do a medical exam and a meet with a Soc Security judge every two years to verify that you still can’t work.
Get the grifters back to work.
In 12/2000 we moved to Port Charlotte, FL. We ran into two men who were on disability from the NYPD, one had just re-habbed the home we bought, almost completely gutting it and the other one started and was running a company that installed and maintained air conditioning. They both were talking about being on disability, didn’t seem to think anything was wrong with them getting it while still working and drawing an income from something else. The first one eventually built a new home in North Carolina somewhere.
Obama’s goal was to bankrupt the U.S .
It is clearly stated in the Weather Underground’s manifesto that the goal is to end capitalism. How better to do that than wreck the US economy through bad policy.
That cockroach just won’t leave DC will he? I can just see him skulking around in the dark tunnels underneath Pennsylvania Ave .leading from his mansion to the WH.
A tragic figure “Phantom of the Oprah” type character.
And turn us into one world communism.
They are lying in the fact they bundle Soc. Sec. with Medicare and Medicaid. S.S. is not in bad of condition as presented. With a little tweaking it is solvent. The other 2 are a disaster and will bankrupt us.
SS is in better condition because a) there is a tax associated with it and b) the “boom” demographic is dying off.
If they could just quit dipping into it for other things, that would help, but if they don’t do something about Medicare RIGHT NOW….
One thing they could do is have Drs actually do the right thing first time instead of wasting money trying to save money.
Aren’t they putting illegals on Medicaid?
Let in illegal immigrants who use bogus SS numbers.
Let the employers who actually render accurate employment tax payments use those numbers. Do not audit the SSNs.
Expect the illegal immigrants to avoid applying for SS benefits.
Voila’. Pay in. Don’t pay out.
Illegals with fake SS#s or work permits get huge tax windfalls by filling out tax forms getting work credits and child credits in the form of a fat check from Uncle sam.
He should look at Ticker Guy’s suggestions about CMS.
Where is the administrative state in that model? All in other spending? Where is Medicaid? Assistance to individuals?
We need a different model that isolates all government salaries and benefits and all consultant fees and contractual obligations.
Courtesy of John Boehner, who folded like he was being blackmailed or threatened.
500 BILLION Hamburgers.
Hmmmm, Hamburgers . . .
“I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday …”
You know I thought we were supposed to be critical thinking and tolerant. There is a borg mentality here that if you have the slightest concern and type it you are either a bot, a lefty or some sort of communist. And worst trying to demean President Trump. hell I was accused of bemoaning the fact he dodged a bullet yesterday. How many of you thought the golden statue of Trump was great at cpac last year? Take an effin chill pill and realize you can question his actions and have concerns and still support the guy. Good God…
No critical thinking is allowed anymore apparently , bringing up concerns will get you labeled a troll lol. Only total trust in Trump is permitted now .
Reminds me of the Jeff Session days. 😣
(And how did that turn out?)
For myself, when people ask me what is going on with some of these picks…
I just say that I am going to wait and see. (Even though a few make me nauseous)
President Trump needs to be alive to get sworn in. Maybe that is the deal. 🤷🏻♀️
Exactly!!
Getting my crow recipe and memes ready!
I was here during the Jeff Sessions days!
Unless I am willing to eat crow, I only comment
on the pick decisions I am confident will not
result in that plate of crow being served-to me 🤮
Sundance during his heads up on
DiSanctimonious debacle…and
the hoopla and spoldey heads 🤯🤯
during that, and afterwards –
Lots of crow dished out.
That serving line was really long.
When we have the obvious groups of
narrative pushers and trolls…we know
that is a indication….Sundance is over
the target and catching flak.
I have actually seen….and have been so
peeved, when I have read comments here
by some of the newbies trying to discredit
Sundance. 😡 🤬 🤬 More proof he is over
the target 🤷♀️💁 Easy to pick out the trolls too🤣🤣
We will wait and see. Buy more popcorn 🍿
and watch.
Yep. Sundance was destined for this time. An amazing man.
How many Treepers remember Howie? He had Sessions number from the get go and caught a lot of flack about it.
Yes. Bowie ended up leaving. I missed his posts.
Was thinking of the
Sessions days just yesterday. I had to stay away for a while due to the drama and arguments.
What ever happened to him anyway??
Interesting.
I looked it up!
He appears to still be a staunch Trump supporter.👏👏
Jeff Sessions, once mocked by Trump, says rally shooting won’t stop the ‘powerful leader’ – al.com ☝️ ☝️
Jeff Sessions | Facebook
☝️ ☝️
Sessions ran for the Senate and lost to Tuberville in the primary runoff. Quietly retired after that.
Hi Landslide.
I haven’t cared too much about what happened to that weasel. I was glad he lost his last run for office. Pathetic.
I was one of the first commenters to post about my concern with Sessions. I got huge push back and called a troll. The fact was I was new to any kind of social media and I was naive. It didn’t occur to me that commenters would be trolling. Yes, I really was that naive.
After I got a lot of troll comments, I realized how naive I was and why people were down on me.
But I knew I wasn’t trolling. I was genuinely concerned about Sessions and wondered what other people thought. So I didn’t let it bother me when people pushed back. Then events involve and we all saw Sessions for what he was.
The same scenario will happen now. I want to all call out trolls when I see them, just like some people wanted to call out me for my Sessions posts.I want to limit the damage the trolls are trying to do to us. if I am wrong (for example, if President Trump’s whole administration is “ruined” by the Bondi pick) events will unfold and we shall all see that.
Meantime, when I see a commenter tying to demoralize us, I will call them out
you are confusing a troll with a commenter. Or am I missing your entire post? Is it meant to be sarcasm .. do tell. All the confusion here has me confused. I comment a lot. I’m not a troll, but I also won’t back down when I’m called a troll or a “concern noted” person. We all have the right to voice an opinion and as long as we are allowed to do that here I will stick around. Questioning someone ability to be named to a top spot in the govt is not “trolling”.
You were braver than me.
During that time I was just
more a regular reader and follower
here. Lurker.
It was a long time before I felt
I had anything to contribute and
was wary of Sylvia and her shovel,
and being dished out a plate of crow 😁
Ah yes….Sessions- The Ninja Assassin🥷🤣
And don’t forget General Mattis…
and..and…and…
And people wonder why some of us are
“skeptical “ about some of recent picks.
Oh well….🤷♀️💁some people learn by their
mistakes. Some have to learn the hard way…
after a few plates of Crow.
I am getting those crow recipes ready!
Too bad we don’t have Sylvia and her shovel.😊😊
Oh wow! Sylvia and her shovel… that brings back memories! I wonder what happened to her…
Ah yes. The shovel lady…I’d almost forgotten. 😂
Yes. It was nasty around here over j sessions. Then he laid down on President Trump. Then the trust the plan nonsense began….
I still remember the Jeff Sessions cheerleading squad on this very site.
Me too.
Trust the plan…🙄
I agree!!!!
Just shut up and…….
Trust the plan 🙄🙄🙄
A lot of time wasted and missed opportunities,
during that time.
Sessions…. I recuse!
Of course, no chance of that ever happening again.
Right?
🤷♀️ 💁 🙃 🙃
Don’t forget the Amy Coney Barrett cheerleaders, either!
Ha ha ha. Critical thinking IS ALLOWED. Bringing up concerns IS ALLOWED.
Total trust in Trump is risky business.
What created the pushback is the insulting, anger-filled pile on-s, repetitive again-and-again concern posts saying the same concerns over and over and over, and hate-filled personal attacks if anyone dared stray from the “concerns”.
What happened is that same group who had “concerns” did to those who disagree with them as the media did with supporters of MAGA ideas: insult them, isolate them, make them feel as though they were the only one, pile on, and more.
Shameful behavior.
Now, those who were silenced by bullying are fighting back. If you did not do any of that shameful behavior then you have nothing to feel bad about.
However, insulting people who disagree with you should not be allowed. Post your concerns then move on.
Can you link to any of these insulting, anger-filled pile on-s, repetitive again-and-again concern posts saying the same concerns over and over and over, and hate-filled personal attacks ?
I’m not seeing anything like that .
OurLastStand is right!
It becomes obvious when you look closely,
and know what to look for 👩🏫
Look at the Bondi thread.
The repetitive posts by newbies.
Also attacks on Sundance, CTH.
Whether it is for…or against.
You can recognize the “tells”
when looking at comments.
That an “agenda” is in play
becomes obvious.
The narrative pushers are easy to spot.
They are just not “programmed” for any
pushback on their narrative and usually
they start using the same “key” words…
that is a “tell”.
Their persistence is also a tell.
You usually only see newbie names on certain
topics. When it comes to economics,
deep state or IC articles …no comments.
No links or information to back up claims,
or when links are submitted the links never
meet their requirements.
And most of all…..🎼🎼feelings..it’s all about feelings🎼🎼
Loyalty,trust,faith….group think🤷♀️
All are good qualities to have…but what we see -it not always
what we get….I hold Mike Pence as an example.
Fool me once shame on you
Fool me twice shame on me
Once bitten—twice shy.
I have been seeing it for the past 24 hours. So much so, I just leave.
I have always abhorred cliques and group behavior like that.
To me, the truth is that no one here truly “knows” any of these nominees. We all tend to base our likes and dislikes on very little information and that information is second hand or third hand or even more removed. Let’s just let this play out and see.
Yep. Even insulting Sundance was the in thing. I can take the insults but SunDance brought me out of the Dummycrat fold and no amount of insults will send me back. I pushed back
When another Treeper cautions against
pushing what may be a false narrative,
and yet some still do not heed the advice
and persist..and actually double down.
Then when the narrative finally is revealed
and the Treeper says….told everyone 😁
Some just…more double down ..instead of eating
their plate of crow.
It seems to be difficult for some former Democrats
to break from their habits. 🤷♀️ 💁
Some take words of caution, advice and experience as
an insult.
What is great about the Treehouse is the actual
knowledge people can obtain.
Yep
yep
I’m working on getting myself a unique avatar, but until that time I hope the fearful will just scroll on by when they see my name, instead of trying to bash or belittle me for my opinions.
( smiling at that )
You show your lack of critical thinking by writing a rant about people who aren’t interested in your rants
Here people want to get information and hear opinions. Here people value Sundance because he is a critical thinker. He gives opinions backed by facts and logical observations. He encourages us to do the same. On the other hand, people here don’t want to waste time with trolls who are trying to demean our President and demoralize us.
Here is an example using the recent Bondi pick:
Troll example: “OMG the sky is following because Trump did another bad pick. He Hadn’t learned his lesson! Voting for him got us no place!”
Versus a critical thinking example:
“I’m worried about the Bondi nomination and don’t think she will reform the DOJ. Here are some links that show how she did the AG job in Florida. Anyone else have more background on her?
Link to article describing something Bondi did that made her a bad choice
Link to second article giving info on Bondi corruption.
Do you see the difference in these two examples?
Your post above is another example of a troll post because you jump to people here have a “borg mentality” and no critical thinking allowed for the slightest comment. That and the rest of your rant didn’t add to the conversation. What you did was try to make people feel bad/guilty if they identify you as a troll, which is what you showed yourself to be.
These kinds of posts are sometimes one that can’t let something go.
More often it’s one that doesn’t want Treepers to let something go.
It is a collective guilt style demeaning of our entire community.
Perfect!
Well said!!
I have always thought of the Treehouse as a
place to gather information, exchange ideas
and opinions-and especially Sundance and his
Extraordinary explanations regarding economics. ..
he explains economics in a way even I can understand!😁
The actual knowledge and experience base among
commentators, combined with incredible crowd
sourcing resources makes the Treehouse unique.
Sundance teaches….think for yourself.
And…..THE TRUTH HAS NO AGENDA
Excellent post, and so true!
Started reading the book Big Intel a couple of days ago. Has been on my list since it was published in January, so many books, so little time. Was prodded to finally start it while reading Lee Smith’s Disappearing the President. While I’ve read many books about Communism, Marxism, critical theory, etc., this one is excellent. Starts with the history of the CIA and FBI, which necessitates a serious deep dive into communist infiltration in the US. Highly recommended reading.
p.s. McCarthy was right…
Yep! He sure was! Alas, too many today still disparage McCarthy. In the recent Tucker Carlson interview with Glen Greenwald it was obvious they both still think McCarthy was a menacing nut job. Sigh.
I just started reading Lee Smith’s book between scoring student essays.
So much to do — not enough hours!
From a look around the social media sphere, it seems a lot of people went into the cabinet selection process with unrealistic expectations about Trump, about the necessity of certain positions, and about the obstructionist abilities of the Senate.
Here is my reality based look at what is going on, what level of concern is warranted about who and about which issues, and what it will take to make Trump 47 a success. All necessary ingredients are still in place and the most important roles are still on track.
Thanks for reading!
https://skeshel.substack.com/p/the-top-5-most-important-trump-cabinet
As some here have done. From the VP to many cabinet picks, some people have the pied piper mentality about Sundance as well as Trump. Sundance says often “be skeptical” and I’m guessing he has a cringyface when reading some of the comments.
Not sure he will feel good about the insults hurled at him as he is out walking
My guess is that he laughs them off.
That’s what confident people do!
My observation: he responds from time to time when something touches home.
Reminder: like it or not, this is an environment subject to the vagaries of human behaviors.
All in on Kid Rock as SOS! Can we also get Uncle Ted as Secretary of the Interior? All kidding aside, wholeheartedly agree with you. Made it to point III, might subscribe after the bills are paid.
Ted @ ATF!
Arrows, Tobacco and Firearms!
Thanks for posting, Seth… Agree with SmokeyJo — including liking it as far as I was able to read without a subscription. Great article that gave me the realities, but tempered with hope. It echoed a lot of what was in this article I just read about PT’s conversation with Gaetz before he removed himself from AG consideration.
The main point was that PT basically told Gaetz that he was just ONE vote short — but the four senators named in Keshel’s article, McConnell, Curtis, Collins, and Murkowski, were all hard NOs for his confirmation. Keshel names those four (I call them The Squad) as the potential roadblock to getting the nominees MAGA really wants. (But although you can’t always get what you want, sometimes if you try, you get what you need…) 🙂
We need to be praying for God’s will to prevail in these picks (not just ours, PT’s, or The Squad’s.) And for our President to have supernatural wisdom, favor, and strategies. To know when to hold, and when to fold. Interesting times we live in…
https://resistthemainstream.com/trumps-final-words-with-gaetz-before-ag-pullout-report/?utm_source=newsletter2
Basically, The Deep State and cronies were getting
even with Gaetz for rocking the boat.
He had the courage to fight against them, time after time. 👏👏
They knew that if Gaetz were to be nominated, he would
rock the boat even more, and they were determined not to
allow that to happen.
This is their way of getting even.
Unfortunately, there was not enough ammo to win
the fight. Until we replace those that opposed Gaetz,
we will continue to spin our wheels.
Reality.🤷♀️💁
Exactly, and more. They also were doing a CYA so he couldn’t go after them. (Especially McConnell.)
If you can’t always get what you want, then you need a street fighting man.
I couldn’t get past Pete Hegseth – it asked me to sign up. What did the other 3 say?
Feds blew $267M fighting ‘misinformation’ under Biden — as Trump vows to ban ‘censorship cartel
https://nypost.com/2024/11/22/us-news/feds-blew-267m-on-misinformation-grants-under-biden-much-on-covid-report-finds-as-trump-vows-to-ban-term
What the mainstream refers to as misinformation is truth , what the mainstream says is trustworthy is ALWAYS misinformation .
If people can remember that you will never be steered wrong . The truth will always be found in what the mainstream claims is misinformation.
Whose pockets did that $267M end up in? I think of PDJT sitting down with that P.O.S. and it makes me sick. He is a better man than I am. I would have told the old pervert to go to H when he wanted to schedule a meeting.
Attention DOGE! Here’s some more waste.
“Trump’s pick for Surgeon General, Janette Nesheiwat, praised Facebook for censoring anti-vaccine information…”
It just keeps getting worse!!!
She claimed that the science showed that masks reduce the risk to 3%.
https://www.foxnews.com/video/6168803799001
BS…..”protection” by mask is like mosquito.. flying through link fence….. size of virus is soo smal it just pass through texture of mask… to get protection you will need military mask with special filter for chem/biological agents….
Never forget at some point they put out you could get COVID from farts. At the next Trump rally in TX saw a guy wearing an adult diaper on the outside of his pants….was mocking the face diaper. Thought I would fall out of my chair laughing
Six feet of soil works best.
HAHAHAHA!
Some conflicting information:
Trump Appoints Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, Former COVID Vaccine Advocate Turned Critic, as Surgeon General
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/11/trump-appoints-dr-janette-nesheiwat-former-covid-vaccine/
So many people were for the vaccine until they learned. Nesheiwat LEARNED and is no longer for the vaccines.
But some people here only want to have slanted news instead of the entire story. It reminds me of the shrews on The View.
I already know that she is now against the vaxx. She was pro-censorship, and pro-masks for children, before she had ANY information that would back that up.
If I could learn the facts about the vaxx, such as it wasn’t even a vaccine, RIGHT AWAY, so could’ve this giant ignoramus.
I took the trouble to learn about the mRNA technology when I first heard about warp speed, and I posted the FACT that it was not a vaccine at all, in that it could not stop you from getting or transmitting the virus, RIGHT HERE.
I was met with slogans, such as “it’s the wave of the future”. No, these shots are not, they are something that has been lying around gathering dust for quite some time, because in experiments, the animals all died.
SOME people who supported the vaxx at first just made assumptions, and later on they learned, but this woman advocate for censorship of “misinformation” without first bothering to find out what the facts were.
What a dummy!
Unsuitable for public office.
Again, if I could find out all this stuff inside of a day or two, nobody has an excuse for mouthing off against critics without finding out if the critics are wrong or not.
Que???
I thought that the videos you posted were from today and that those people in those videos were telling only part of the story. I did not think that you were saying their words.
????
Hopefully, she’s had her “come to Jesus” moment.
Cuz if she hasn’t, this idiot sounds like the worst possible pick.
she’s had her “come to Jesus” moment….
I don’t know enough about her to have a opinion she could have changed her mind , we all were lied to about COVID.
Including PDT.
She sure was acting like she knew better than everybody else. She was on TV running her mouth as the expert. She was praying other social media would censor anti vax opinions like Facebook.
This is great, Leik, re. childhood covid vax.
Now I want to hear her mea culpa on applauding that alternative views and info be censored.
It’s bad enough to be giving out wrong info.
What’s worse is to demand that nobody hear alternative ideas.
For the censorship aspect there are zero excuses. Nothing wipes clean that slate of mental deficiency and/or totalitarian leanings.
For myself, there also is no excuse for a medical doctor that bought hook, line, and sinker the injections and mask policies and actively advocated for them. I said this at the beginning of the insanity and haven’t wavered one iota – particularly when it comes to someone being put in a position of power in government.
It is a doctor’s duty and responsibility to apply critical thinking to decisions and heed their creed of Do No Harm. There were far more than enough inconsistencies, pretzel logic, and sheer BS to have raised a Soviet army’s worth of red flags and supplied more than enough data points to reject it outright. Any doctor that didn’t should not ever be in a position of authority.
If she hasn’t ‘changed her mind’ about *ALL* childhood toxic soup injections … she’s business as usual. SMH!
And how does she know her patients are “covid positive”… the PCR test?… in 2022???
THANK YOU GOD FOR HELPING US BY EXPOSING THE FULL UNDENIABLE TRUTH OF PHARMAKEIA TO EVERYONE!
No, she most certainly is NOT a troll!
Clarion is certainly not a troll. You?
First time I’ve seen that screen name.
Been here for quite awhile posting comments every now and then.
Not at all. Been here for quite some tome as 1964corvair and 1965Corsa
Have you been here longer than 5 minutes?
Clarion and I may not always agree on all things, but Clarion is a well respected and long time Treeper.
I seriously doubt you’ll see anyone disagree with my post.
Thank you.
Trump named Sebastian Gorka as a Senior Director for national security policy. Here’s a discussion we had on X Spaces, with a special appearance from @aaronjmate
– Gorka calls Putin a “KGB killer” with whom no negotiated settlement can be reached to resolve the war Ukraine. “There isn’t an off-ramp!” he shouts
– He says Ukraine will fight not just to the last man, but to the last 12 year old — “They will fight to the last child”
– He says the Ukraine war “has nothing to do with NATO aggression”
– He salivates about how Trump killed hundreds of Russians in Syria and “little Vladdy Poo” didn’t do anything, because he “shat his pants’
I don’t much like that guy…. very pompous and arrogant.
..and then some, agreed.
Observer SC: Yup.
russophobic/ neocon to hilt….
Gorka is Eastern European probably Czech and they have a long-standing hatred of Communist and the Soviet Union which is understandable. That said, the Soviet Union is gone and Russia is no longer Communist. In fact, the worst Soviets were Ukrainian and Georgian not Russian!
My mother is from eastern Germany and lived there throughout WWII. She has no sympathy for Russia even now.
“They do not care how many people die.” She is speaking of her war years but it is well known that the Russians burned their capital down, in winter, to thwart the advance of Napolean.
They do not surrender.
Gorky is Hungarian and Russia is Fascist.
Ukrainians despise the Russians. They were totally repressed and starved by the Soviets.
Research the 1921 Holodomor.
Russia doesn’t like Nazi.
Nazi were prevalent in Ukraine.
Still quite a few there.
Research Bandera. Research Azov.
Russia is Not Facist..where in the World
did you come up with that?🤦♀️
Name-dropper. Constantly referring to his time in “the Oval”, meaning his short-lived employment with the Trump administration.
FSG. Always thought that guy Gorka was an idiot. If he really said all that? He’s eliminated any doubt I might have had.
On the bright side, he won’t be on Newsmax anymore… 😀 I always have to change the channel if he is on.
Gorka always reminds me of a character on Monty Python. The Fawlty Towers guy.
John Cleese as Basil?
Relief Factor shill. Can’t stand him.
He sounds like a nightmare.
Only if President Trump listens to him
He’s another John Bolton!
I don’t think he’s that bad but we will see . Bolton is deep state to the core.
Yup….only with a full beard,
and even more obnoxious.
🤬
I would most likely guess Gorka is a Don Jr. pick. I’ve noticed the loud grifter types hang out around Don Jr, but maybe I’m wrong.
Gorka is one of those pompous arses who
thinks he knows it all. Still lives in the 90’s..
🤣🤣 maybe even 80’s.
Bolton and Pompeo with a full beard.
You can tell when he can’t back up his
statements…he starts shouting and
becomes insulting, demanding and
name calling.
Bought his book years ago…couldn’t even finish it.
It was horrible…mumble and jumble.
Donated it library. I should have burned it.
As my father would say…if he only knew
half of what he thinks he knows.
Exactly my sentiments! He thinks he is all that because he got a gig doing training for military. I am pretty sure they laughed behind his back after a session with him.
This assumes, incorrectly IMO, that he’ll be confirmed by a Senate that has 19 “F” rated “Republicans” and only four “nay” votes are required to prevent his confirmation and his pissing off and damaging their Big Pharma and Big Food cash cows. Unlike with the Dims, there will be NO party loyalty with Trump.
RFK Jr.’s MAHA Plans SABOTAGED By Junk Food Industry?: With Journalist Lee Fang

Thanks for posting link.
I listened to the podcast last night.
Definitely recommend. Good information.
As Sundance says….There are Trillions at stake.
RFK,Jr. represents a fight against big Ag.
Be prepared to watch one heck of a showdown.
🥊🥊🥊🥊MAHA. vs Big Ag 🤼♀️🤼♀️🤼♀️🥊🥊
I am rooting for MAHA.
He can always put him there in a position that does not need approval.
Or appoint without the need for approval. Of course he knows that… imo, he’s in an intensive exposure phase of outing the RINO-Uniparty traitors to America; exposing domestic enemies by bringing MAGA Sunlight to bare their True allegiances.
Voting against cleaning out corruption… and against those who would bring True food/medicine information and enable & empower American citizens to be HEALTHY?
Not a good look for an elected ‘representative /official’ and it will wake up even more of the sleepwalkers.
He’s not even in office yet and he’s not waiting to start his work.
Pam Bondi stepped down as a lobbyist for Qatar & other clients to serve as a special government employee in the WH counsels office, defending Trump in his 1st impeachment.
After the impeachment trial, she went back to representing Qatar & other clients.
Not easy to walk away from a $125K a month do nothing no show gig. This all reminds me of mafia union type jobs.
I’m sure she’ll be just great. Matt Gaetz said so ( eyeroll ).
So what?
Guess she couldn’t find a job in the U.S.
and “outsourced “ to another country 🤣🤣
Make America Great Again…work for a Foreign Country 🤣🤣🤣
Her confirmation hearing should be a regular
🤡 clown show!! Buy more popcorn 🍿
I wondered what she was doing after her AG stint was over. Now I know.

Bessent has been a major fundraiser and donor for Donald Trump. He was an economic advisor for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. In November 2024, President-elect Trump named Bessent his nominee for secretary of the Treasury.
Bessent joined Soros Fund Management (SFM) in 1991 and was a partner there throughout the 1990s, eventually becoming head of the London office. Bessent returned to Soros Fund Management and was chief investment officer from 2011 to 2015. He left in 2015 to begin a new firm, Key Square Group.
Bessent founded Key Square Group in 2015 with Michael Germino, who had been the global head of capital markets at SFM. Key Square uses geopolitics and economics to make macro investments. Key Square received a $2 billion anchor investment from George Soros.

It will do him no good. The internet is forever and debts are always collected…
I hope that the Trump administration will extradite this jackass for his crimes against American citizens.
Isn’t Ronan Farrow Mia Farrow’s son? Haven’t heard about him since he was a child and his father was marrying his sister IIRC. What does Ronan Farrow do now? Law enforcement?
I recall Mr. Farrow’s name during the stuff with Harvey Weinstein, but don’t recall the specifics.
I like President Trump better than the alternative.
“There are now conflicting reports as to who will be Trump’s Agriculture Secretary.”….
Oh FFS. Dressing the dogs in their blaze orange (opening day of gun deer hunting) and going for a walk in the woods. Then a nice nap.
Significant news. This is so much better than Big Farma Loeffler
Absolutely agree, Loeffler would have been a terrible choice. The “conflicting reports”. Wake me up in spring, lol.
It may be a leak test… Or I wonder if Nicole Shanahan’s (and by extension, RFK Jr’s?) concerns about several unnamed “disaster” nominees that would hinder their work were presented to PT and re-influenced his decision. Just a thought… remember her recent tweet?
“I have always promised to be an honest broker in my political dealings, and transparent with the public. There are two potential appointments that could be coming down the pike that would be a disaster for the people, our health, and the integrity of this administration. I am working very hard behind the scenes to make sure they don’t come to fruition. As I’ve said, if you smell spoiled ingredients being added to the pot, you need to catch them before it ruins the whole batch. Use your voice — it matters.”
Real President never said Loeffler. Only Caitlyn Collins at CNN.
Lesson learned.
Trump ‘having fun’ with the media?
If it was up to the usual suspects here at CTH, there is no nominee that will pass muster according to them. We are being gaslighted by these fake MAGA supporters. I won’t name names, but most can figure out who they are.
Usual suspects say burn it to the ground.
It’s politics, i.e. bread and circuses. Are we having fun yet?
That’s not true at all , there is only a select few choices that are very worrisome and there is only a handful of treepers that have the courage and are willing to speak out against really suspect choices . The biggest problem I see is so many are willing to just roll the dice and lets see what happens . We can not afford to do that this time . We must be proactive.
That’s what Sundance did with Bondi and it was the right thing to do .

Long time reader ( many years on/off ) relatively new commenter ( recently retired ). My comment now relates to the squabbling of the last cpl days here, of only like minded folks. Ones that share similar goals and often mindset and points of view. Most particularly the love of our President elect Trump, and the ability to think criticially – independent of the fact we are surrounded here ( thanks to Sundance ) by mostly “like minded individuals”. That’s all good.
That said – I love President Trump like no other in my life, and I came close to the “mythology” of JFK but I was 7 when he was killed. A sharp and NYC bred 7, but 7 nonetheless so what did I really know. Other than the world stopped. Then the need to mythologize capped on the PT 109 legend and the family and RFK next in line to be killed before he could uncover the US government collusion in the death and ensuing cover-up of his brothers killing. Timely, all this – been thinking on this since 11/22 – now 11/23.
That said, and love the man like I do ( I LOVE “NEW YORK” city of my birth and my “name” for POTUS )
You think I don’tt have doubts about what happens to Iran when Adelson kicks in $100 MILLION DOLLARS and that buys HER silly ass Hawk Neo-CON RUBIO as SoS!?
You think I don’t have doubts about Netenyahu ( My great grandfather had blue numbers on his forearms so don’t even try it, thanks ) and his desire to eliminate all of the Palestinians so that they can have more beachfront property at the expense of a PEOPLES? and what happens when Hegseth another HELL BENT on the destruction of a sovereign nation, who wants to rebuild the temple mount ( yeah we know that story too ). You bet I do.
Think I don’t have doubt about a Commerce nominee who made Billions for ****ing George Soros?! You bet, I do.
I could go on, and on not even including all these other names I have no CLUE what rock they all crawled out from under. Do I LOVE Miller? You Bet. Russ Vought again at OMB!?? You BET I DO! Love the guy ( he looks like a leftist and love him anyway lol )
So – – I’ll suspend my concerns in favor of the incoming administration, for now at least, and hold everything I know and even think that I know, in abeyance. Out of RESPECT. Again, I LOVE me some New York.
But I’ll think what I want. I’ll share any DOUBT or concern I have with impunity and it sickens me to see this vaunted site, turned into some weird fanatical HIVE MIND site, wherein critical thinking is somehow required to be “suspended” in favor of some blind loyalty to a vision of America and this nation, we ALL hope might be again restored.
In the immortal words of of John Lennon: “Think for yourself because I won’t be there for you”.
rant over. back to squabbling 🙂
These are my criteria for judging Donald Trump’s performance as our 47th president, and of the people he chooses to staff his administration:
— The mark of an effective manager is to be right 80% of the time and be willing to make the tough decisions when those tough decisions have to be made.
— A good decision made this week gets more results than the perfect decision made a month from now. Or three months from now.
A number of tough decisions must be made over the next six to eight months. Everyone has their own definition of what is a perfect decision, what is a good decision, and what is a bad decision because it isn’t either a perfect decision or a good decision in their judgement.
For myself, I am withholding my personal judgement until we have seen what kind of progress is actually being made after Donald Trump takes the oath of office.
One thing is for certain. The alligators will be out in force to prevent Drain the Swamp 2.0.
Those DC Swamp alligators even now are holding daily staff meetings to plan how they will be deploying their forces in their desperate fight against America First and the MAGA movement.
If Donald Trump and his people get 80% of the swamp draining project done over the next four years, I’ll call it good in my own mind.
How will you measure that?
Having spent some good bit of time inside the military industrial complex fighting internal bureaucratic warfare battles, I know what progress is when I see it. And to recognize what is bureaucratic movement being sold as progress towards a goal versus what is actual measurable progress towards achieving that stated goal.
I’m looking for things such as numbers of DOJ and FBI lawfare criminals indicted, numbers of useless bureaucrats either let go as being excess to requirements or else being fired outright for insubordination, reductions in the federal budget, downsizing of departments, improvements in the efficiency of military procurement — and an end to wokism and DEI in every federal department and agency, but most importantly in the Pentagon.
And of most interest for me personally is to see a series of investigations of election fraud with indictments against anyone and everyone who has engaged in election fraud in violation of federal law. Nothing would please me better than to see the people who run Arizona’s election fraud machine all behind bars.
Every three months or so, I’ll assess what has been accomplished in the prior three month period to determine (1) if action is being taken at the speed I want it to be taken; and (2) if that action is effective in remaking the federal government according to MAGA principles.
At the end of Trump’s four year term, I’ll then do a tally to see if roughly four-fifths of the issues I’m concerned about were properly addressed, and in the way I wanted them to be addressed — four-fifths more or less, anyway.
I spent 40+ years in the same MIC.
The point I was making was that the metrics had little content. So you’re defaulting to some qualitative notion. That’s fine.
You’re bound to be disappointed. Almost guaranteed. Look at what’s on the table: accountability, deportation, gov’t shrinking, J6 prisoners, economic growth, inflation, growth, federal budget, global payment systems, reserve currency……and on and on and on.
I’m onboard vis accountability. That said, I prioritize deportation and public safety/national security above that if it comes down to resources and time. I also value economic security more given my stage in life. No one is going to be happy when this deploys and concludes.
My best hope is that Vance actually is trustworthy enough to carry on the fight.
The person I see as the most articulate, committed, and passionate successor to Donald Trump is Kari Lake. Which is why the Democrat/UniParty/RINO election fraud machine targeted her senate race in Arizona as among the most important, if not the most important, of the downballot races in the country to steal.
It can get a little crazy around here, and is frequently infiltrated. If ever feeling dispirited just head over to the daily open thread, food for the soul there.
I have a cot there yes, thank you.

Your description of your great grandfather brings to mind a dear little man I once knew, who also had numbers tattooed on his arm.
He was born in an f’d up country, and he died in a different f’d up country.
The first one put him in a cell because it hated him for his ethnicity. The second one set up a system where it put him in a small room with tile floors and a narrow uncomfortable hospital bed and limited his ability to move around, for “his safety” because we have been so atomized from each other that that passes for “care” of our elderly.
It was traumatizing for him.
I always wish I could have fixed that for him. It wasn’t his family’s fault, either. Good family. It is just the system in which we live. And die.
And that was before the horrors during the lockdowns. At least family could visit him, when I knew him.
Imagine if he hadn’t had even that.
It is the little person caught in the system who we need to be fighting for. The systems are completely f’d up, every single one of them.
Maybe if we paid home caregivers to take their parents in, instead of hotel rooms for Venezuelan gang members to stay in, we could do better for our parents and our grandparents.
My husband and his brother were trying to put their mom in a home and I put my foot down and said NO WAY! I was willing to take her in… anyway, long story short, she got a new Dr who discovered it was her monstrous list of medications causing her to seem to have dementia!!!!! It was absolutely insane that her long time Dr just kept piling on meds to solve a side effect of another until it made her lose her mind!
She is now happily in her own home and doing very well at 89yrs old.
God bless you, Observer
We called that “poly pharmacy” in 1978. Ailment A needs meds…those meds cause Ailment B or side effect for which another med is prescribed, causing side effects for them to need to prescribe the next med…ad infinitum.
It is an absolute disgrace! My poor mother-in-law was really off her rocker and it was scary. She finally had a seizure which is how she ended up with a new Dr who set everything to rights.
In fact, I think it is criminal! Makes me very angry.
It’s the most profitable way to manage symptoms – that’s Rockefeller’s original goal & system design… self-perpetuating profits. Whatever that takes.
Several years ago my mother was in a nursing home. I lived 5 hours from her. Made arrangements to pick her up and take her home with me for several days. They gave me her medication and it was in a huge plastic bag. And what I noticed also was that the pills weren’t in a bottle but were in the plastic singular dose things that had to have cost much more than if they were in a bottle. My mother was on Medicaid. My brother told me they removed all her medication from her because she wasn’t going to get well. Medicine removed in August and she passed in October. She was 79 years old.
My complaint is that as one moves through the system (specialists, emergency wards, etc.) they all have their preferred drugs – always different, always prescribed. I had one quack orthopedic surgeon prescribe three different narcotics! Like most things in life, one has to assume responsibility, research the problem space, converse with folks who passed through similar maladies, and push back when the circumstances merit doing so.
Good move!
The American HC system is dominated by the pharmaceutical peddlers.
In a different context, I endured the same conflict as the elder among the siblings. The key for me, covered in advance with the parent, was what the parent wanted.
Having visited a friend in an assisted living home the last months of his life I understand why most prefer their “independence” – even if it shortens their lives. The astronomical cost also factors in.

Trump did really well when he was “45” and he had terrible deep state people in his cabinet. Right? He was impeached twice and Paul Ryan was messing up his advantge in Congress and he still did some great things.
Your great grandfather knew better than anyone else about how Jews are blamed for everything just because they’re Jewish. In other words, he would have understood just who you are and what you are trying to do.
But, of course, the left claimed that the phones tracked in “2000 Mules” couldn’t be tracked accurately enough to come to any conclusions. They are such consistently lying POS.
We Tracked Every Visitor to Epstein Island | WIRED (8:43)
22 Nov 2024
“I spearheaded a Wired investigation that uncovered the data of almost 200 mobile phones belonging to visitors to his Infamous pedophile island. The data was so precise we were able to map the paths of these visitors to within centimeters including their neighborhoods buildings of origins and the paths they took to get to the island.”
It’s interesting for sure but they don’t name, names.
It’s time to name them. And while Epstein Island holds intrigue, my guess is most of the Pedo stuff happened in NYC.
It’s a dictum of governing that “personnel is policy,” and the concept has been embraced by President-elect Donald Trump with his choice of Sergio Gor to head the White House’s Presidential Personnel Office.
In picking Gor, Trump was bringing in one of his top advisers over the past four years and a Washington veteran with a savvy understanding of how the place works.
In his statement announcing Gor’s pick along with Steven Cheung to head the White House Communications Agency, Trump said the pair “have been trusted Advisors since my first Presidential Campaign in 2016, and have continued to champion America First principles …”
Soon after Trump departed the White House in 2021, Gor became a member of Trump’s inner circle acting as his liaison to top politicos, big donors, and various constituencies.
Today, Gor is ensconced in Trump’s transition headquarters overseeing a staff that works to fill over 4,000 presidential political appointments across the federal government.
It’s a critically important task with the new Trump administration setting key criteria for selections, including loyalty to Trump, a commitment to “America First” policies, and job competency.
Filling these positions is a daunting task, but one Sergio Gor can do well.
OK, now cue the usual suspects here to do their deep dives to find something, anything, wrong with this pick.
It’s a dirty job, but somebody has to do it.
You can thank me later.

NOTHING LESS
I come here for Information not Blind Worship
It’s one thing to find negative reasons to deep six a pick that hasn’t been officially announced by President Trump. But once he has officially made the selection, it’s a bit disingenuous to keep harping on it. People like that are no better than the Dems and RINOs, and I question their true support for the MAGA agenda.
I could see if it’s just one pick, but when it goes on and on with multiple official announcements, there is an agenda there that is counterproductive to showing the support that President Trump needs.
To think that President Trump hasn’t thoroughly vetted these people and that some here know better then he does is just beyond the pale. This vetting process has been going on for months and hasn’t been done just now on a whim.
Ya think?
I agree with your real inference: that there’s more going on here than meets the eye.
You don’t know that.
“Should he return to the White House, Trump would need to build a leadership team once again — a challenge made more daunting by his track record and his ability to win Senate confirmations for the loyalists he would need to carry out his orders.
In preparation, Trump advisers are preparing to take charge of the executive branch if he wins in November, a transition process that is customary for presidential nominees. Allies are compiling lists of potential job candidates and building dedicated teams that would guide any nominees toward Senate confirmation.” https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna171455
That is from NBC, no fan of President Trump. You can take that or leave it, it’s up to you.
People are frustrated. We’re all supporters of President Trump here, but some also realize the politics. We may not like it, but he is going to nominate people who were big donors. It’s politics, and he’s learned to play the game.
As for me, America first, don’t give a damn who is sitting in the big chair. Not going to bitch about it, is what it is. Others like to hear themselves squawk.
With that, I bid you a most pleasant evening. Dogs said I’ve burned up my allotted screen time today, doggos are never wrong.
I don’t understand the hostility to the MAHA movement.
The poster here criticizing the parents forgets that it was THE GOVERNMENT’S phony ‘guidelines’ that told parents (and everybody) that eggs were bad for you and cereal was “healthy”.
All RFK Jr. wants to do is make sure the guidance is accurate, and make sure there aren’t any harmful ingredients in the food.
That seems like something we should be able to rely on, living in a first world country.
I think the propagandists are trying to make this about Fruit Loops, which is just one example Jr. used, to obfuscate the real issues, because it is simple to just not buy one kind of cereal, but that is not going to solve the problems of obesity and chronic disease.
My only quibble with the parents taking the advice of government’s health guidelines is that it is up to the parents to use their critical thinking skills to determine what is best for their babes that they decided to bring into this world; not the government’s job…but Mom and Dad’s job
.
Unfortunately, critical thinking skills are as rare as hen’s teeth now.
How are they to do that without real solid advice out there?
Agreed! We need a very large tent to continue winning elections. The Democrats won’t stay idiots forever!
The only way to prevent democrats from winning elections in the future is to wipe out the fraud , if we can do that then democrats don’t stand a chance in a legitimate election.
The hostility toward JFK Jr is not about how nutritional food is or isn’t it’s about the fear globalists have of having their Agenda 2030 and NWO plans dismantled before their very eyes .
Thank God for the CDC , NIH and FDA whistleblowers .
JMO…if we can’t pronounce the ingredients…they are suspect.
If your great grandmother didn’t HAVE those ingredients… never heard of any of them because they didn’t exist… they are suspect – likely toxic to Human health in fact.
Wish you hadn’t posted that full-color picture. I used to eat those things by the boxful over the course of just a few days.

MAHA Trump made a fantastic choice picking Dr. @MartyMakary
as the new FDA Commissioner!
“The greatest perpetrator of misinformation during the pandemic has been the United States government.”
“Our two top experts on vaccines quit the FDA in protest over this particular issue, pushing boosters in young healthy people.”
“The data has now caught up in giant systematic reviews, and the public health officials were intellectually dishonest. They lied to the American people.”
He doesn’t seem to get that this is – has been for over a century – SOP for the industry; he thinks “children need to get” vaccines that are designed to disrupt & manipulate-out-of-capacity-to-function-properly their developing immune systems… SMH!!!

There is some sage advice here. There’s a time to make your voice heard (no matter who doesn’t like it). This doesn’t just apply to this one pick, either.
Dustin Kittle
@dustinkittle
For those saying just to wait and see what Trump does officially on Ag Secretary:
1) This is not inside information, but there is a reason Nicole was down on some of the picks and it’s no secret how important Ag is to her and the #MAHA movement;
2) The vast majority of “leaks” on positions have been accurate (see Rubio, et al);
3) The time to push back is before the official release of the pick, not after, bc he sure as hell isn’t going to change his mind once he has committed it to a release; and
4) The stakes are too high for me to sit idly by if there is even a speck of a chance the Ag position goes to the Blonde Buckhead Billionaire Farm Bureau puppet, so sit back and eat popcorn if you want, but I’m going to make as much noise as I possibly can to ensure the world knows the pick is wrong.
If this is a trial balloon, I want it deflated.
If Trump is as sharp as some of you think, then it is a trial balloon; and the only way to stop it is to make noise NOW, not later.

JUST IN: The Pentagon’s Inspector General *CONCEDES* to a House investigation that it misled the American people about National Guard troops being delayed to respond to the J6 riots.
“Today, the
@OversightAdmn
Chairman Barry Loudermilk (GA-11) sent a letter to Department of Defense (DoD) Inspector General (IG) Robert Storch, demanding a correction of the DoD’s factually inaccurate January 6 report, as first reported by The Federalist.”
“After a thorough investigation, the Subcommittee uncovered evidence substantiating that the Department of Defense intentionally delayed the deployment of the D.C. National Guard to the Capitol on January 6, 2021. In addition, the DoD IG concealed the extent and cause of the delay to protect Department of Defense and Pentagon leadership. The Subcommittee found multiple instances where the DoD IG failed to disclose evidence that contradicted the DoD IG’s erroneous conclusion.”
“The DoD IG’s report reflects an alarming failure to adequately evaluate the actions of senior DoD officials, including Secretary of the Army, Ryan McCarthy, who failed to communicate deployment orders to Major General William Walker, the Commander of the DCNG on January 6.”
“My Subcommittee worked with the DoD IG in good faith throughout our investigation to provide multiple opportunities for the DOD IG to produce corroborating materials or evidence to support their conclusions,” said Chairman Loudermilk.
“Unfortunately, the DoD IG continues to promote an inaccurate narrative that protects senior Pentagon officials and attempts to cast fault on the D.C. National Guard, who were ready and waiting less than 2 miles from the Capitol but unable to respond on January 6 due to lack of communication from the Secretary of the Army.”
“My Subcommittee released transcripts that show that not only were political concerns of ‘optics’ at play, but that DoD officials continued to delay as the riot at the Capitol worsened. The evidence is conclusive: DoD officials misled Congress into believing that help was ‘on the way’ with full knowledge that it wasn’t.”
THE BIG QUESTION: *WHY* would the Pentagon delay sending troops to respond to the January 6 “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol if it was putting the lives of Congressional members in danger? 🤔
Hate crime hoax in Colorado and DOJ did not prosecute, surprise surprise.
One of the three was recently found guilty of murder.

https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2024/11/23/egg-shortage-price-increase-hit-u-s-amid-holiday-season/
The article mentions cage free hens are being afflicted with ‘bird flu’…
My local farm egg source has says the hens production severely curtailed but attributed to the now cold weather. 60 degree differential swings in a 24 hr period here. It’s weird as I’ve just bought last week my first dz in at loeast a cpl years! from a TJ’s market and they are not nearly as fresh ( duh )..
geez, I’m replying about eggs in the PP thread. Can I just blame you aggie? LOL 😉
Well…being suspicious of ‘bird flu’ etc…and recently seeing the signs by local but rural farms…I was wondering what’s up…along with the cost of eggs…Yeah…blame me…its cold in IL…40 ish and already had our first snow…
A memory…my cousin took my youngest to is hen house to get eggs for breakfast…little suburban princess was shocked I tell you…shocked at just “where” the eggs came from…she knew hens lay eggs…but never really understood how they got into the egg carton for the store…
There was something up with the chicken feed last year… I recall reading articles about it but cannot remember which feed it was. But, it was causing chickens to stop laying eggs.
I remember that too.
I think it was from Tractor Supply
which is owned by Bill Gates
Yes, it was TC sold feed. Most went to making their own feed.
I remember that…
Bill Gates sold all of his Tractor Supply stock in 2010.
Doesn’t own any now.
The chickens are molting this time of year. Some molt during August, September and some later into February.
It depends on the breed and the living conditions.
It’s a very simple search. My family raised chickens, and my daughter raises chickens, my sisters raise chickens…happens to all of them.
It’s a very simple search and your questions will be answered.
And I know nothing about chickens other than farm fresh eggs are the best!
My 6 hens were laying 5 eggs a day in June.
3/day in October.
1/day 4 weeks ago.
1 every other day now.
3 of them are molting.
In March, they’ll be back to 3 a day.
They’re chickens.
I turned on the 60W butt heater in the coop sauna room this afternoon.
S’posed to get down to 34F tonight.
Yesterday when I cleaned the coop and found no eggs in the laying boxes, my first thought was “it too cold to lay an egg.”
A year ago we were buying a box of 60 eggs at Wal-mart for $5. Now $20.

I think that agency needs reevaluating as to its purpose.
The more I learn about this woman, the fact that she’s now against the vaxx after we all know that it doesn’t work, doesn’t impress me at all.
She’s a covid fascist, a TV propagandist, and even praises Dr, Fauci.
What a slap in the face to Americans who have suffered long enough under the lunacy of the “public health” monsters.
Pick somebody else, this woman is unacceptable.
Trump’s nominee for Surgeon General supported the mask mandates in schools that parents like myself fought like hell to end.
Isn’t Vance in charge of the transition team. No one is vetting the picks?
Could this be true?
Trump’s transition team turns to Project 2025 after disavowing it during the campaign
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-team-turns-project-2025-disavowing-effort-campaign-rcna180689
Transition officials have used Project 2025’s extensive personnel database to identify potential hires for the incoming administration, a person familiar with the plans said.
I don’t know what the heck is going on.
I have suspicions and not good ones.
NBC news? Trust nothing unless it comes from the campaign itself.
I wish that Vance would address the issue.
Heritage is doing a lot of praising lately……
https://www.heritage.org/press
NEVER EVER rely on mainstream media for information especially NBC.
1,000 percent correct but we are in an information vacuum not knowing who it is assisting Trump in making his picks
If you read the article, there are 4,000 positions to fill, and a lot of very good names – names that we have been cheering here – that happened to contribute an article or chapter to Project 2025. We all like Vought – but in his Tucker interview, I noticed he mentioned doing a writeup on his area of expertise for it. We like Tom Homan as Border Czar – should he be disqualified because he happened to contribute something to it? Or Ratcliff? Just saying…
While the Trump campaign distanced itself from Project 2025 as not being their vision for America, the transition team may have to resign themselves to some overlap with experts that contributed to it if they want to fill so many slots with good, qualified conservatives.
“There’s a lot of positions to fill and we continue to send names over, including ones from the database as they are conservative, qualified and vetted,” the person, who worked on Project 2025, said. “Hard to find 4,000 solid people, so we are happy to help.”
The receptiveness to using the Project 2025 database for potential hires comes as the transition has already shown it is open to tapping contributors to the effort for administration jobs, including Tom Homan as border czar, Brendan Carr as chairman of the Federal Communications Commission and John Ratcliffe as CIA director. Both Homan and Ratcliffe were listed as contributors to Project 2025, while Carr wrote a chapter on the FCC.
Additionally, former Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought, a Project 2025 author who also served as the Republican National Committee’s platform policy director, is thought of as a potential administration pick, too.
But not everyone is being welcomed aboard…
NBC is pure propaganda!
Sync this is an example of the BS that leftists will call us out on soon.
RAPID EYE BLINKING is a known sign of RABID LYING!
This beyotch shows a superiority, elitist attitude. Her as Surgeon General is like Epstein as Headmaster at Mr. Dinklewink’s School For Girls.
It is official. Trump just posted that Brooke L. Rollins has been chosen as the Secretary of Agriculture.

Good!
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/tucker-carlson-longtime-source-says-porn-sites-controlled-by-intelligence-agencies-for-blackmail/
It wouldn’t surprise me a bit if this were true-that the intelligence agencies monitor porn sites to get blackmail on politicians. The article mentions the possibility of this happening to Mike Johnson, who it was was previously passionate about FISA reform and not renewing it in its current form, yet turning on a dime when Speaker. With him, though, I don’t suspect porn consumption as much as a likely affinity he and Mrs. Johnson have for young black men.
The fact that Congressman Mike Johnson, a relatively unknown member from a smallish Southern state, was suddenly vaulted into the top spot , with support from BOTH sides of the aisle, was always more than a little bit puzzling to me.
I simply do not think that many, if any, politicians are promoted from within unless TPTB have some kind of hold on them, whether it be a “carrot”, a “stick” or both!
Before John Grisham went woke, and his writing went downhill, he was able to understand, and explain, human nature in a way that few other authors could do. I highly recommend “The Firm”, one of his first books, for a perfect explanation of how easily someone can become “corrupted” by the Machine, often without realizing it is even happening! I suspect that happens in DC more often than not and I further suspect that Mike Johnson probably knows more about it than even Grisham!
Ric Grenell under consideration to be Trump’s point man on Ukraine: report
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ric-grenell-under-consideration-trumps-point-man-ukraine-report
TRUMP EYES GRENELL AS UKRAINE-RUSSIA ENVOY
Trump is reportedly strongly considering Richard Grenell, his former intelligence chief and ambassador to Germany, as a special envoy for the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Grenell’s diplomatic experience includes peace negotiations in Serbia and Kosovo, but his ideas, like “autonomous zones” and delaying Ukraine’s NATO membership, may concern Kyiv.
Trump, who pledged to end the war, has not finalized the envoy role or Grenell’s selection.

I like it.
I think he’s capable.
The Ukrainians won’t know what to make of somebody normal, after all the weirdos we’ve been sending over there.
Brook Rollins is the new Agriculture Secretary. Not the Georgia Chick.
I hope Ms. Rollins is a good pick and not just better than Georgia Chick.
Not Kelly Loeffler?
Switcheroo? Would tabbing her raise conflict of interest issues given the crypto deal?
Trial balloon?
This man is a patriotic American of the highest degree.
It’s official. Hope you all like her!https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-picks-brooke-rollins-to-be-agriculture-secretary/ar-AA1uDoOm
How is this different than Dept of Ag?
“If confirmed, Rollins would lead a 100,000-person agency with offices in every county in the country, whose remit includes farm and nutrition programs, forestry, home and farm lending, food safety, rural development, agricultural research, trade and more. It had a budget of $437.2 billion in 2024.”
One’s a person and the other is an agency.
This is amazing
zoomed out… looks very like a flash & a bullet traveling straight for his head – the black microphone disappears and one sees the thin reflections of light with one especially prominent… with several tracers.
Just sayin’… they’re always throwing symbols in our faces
Here’s another cabal magazine cover of late… always with the symbols!
{ https://vigilantlinks.com/2024/11/the-economist-2025-the-world-ahead/ }
“The new cover of The Economist always sparks significant intrigue and speculation, particularly among those who understand the publication’s annual cover is a form of predictive programming or coded messaging about the year ahead.
The 2025 cover, featuring a minimalist, highly symbolic design, includes several elements that observers have linked to themes of globalist control, technocracy, and societal transformation.”

Shipwreckedcrew believes the Labor Secretary is a great choice.
It is easy to be despondent and lose faith. My guess is that the USA had one last chance to stave off disaster and the USA picked Trump to lead the way. Many have stuck with Trump through the wilderness years and turned out to get him back into office. Now we need to trust Trump, we need to accept the people he picks and support him and his team. We need to pray that he gets more right than wrong.
Trump won’t get everything right, but we support him because he is the only candidate heading in the right direction. That is more important than occasionally taking a wrong turn. The overall direction is what is important. Now let’s pray for Trump, maintain our faith in his leadership and get behind him.
Trump is America’s last chance to take back the country. Let’s be supportive and not have a hissy fit because he made a personnel selection we don’t like or we don’t understand.
Couldn’t have said it better.
We The People *MUST* continue developing & fortifying the MAGA leadership in local & state elections… as well as extinguishing election fraud vulnerabilities WILE WE HAVE THIS HIGH DEGREE OF MOMENTUM.
’26 will be here in a minute – we still have a heard of RINOS, lefty judges & Soros sheriffs to replace.
Acting on & with this momentum dispels despondency & negativity.
not a good sign when you endorse Jeb!
Donald Trump Jr. Stands Firmly Behind AG Nominee Pam Bondi as Controversial Jeb Bush Endorsement Video Sparks Outrage | The Gateway Pundit | by Jim Hᴏft
That was a primary. Once it was over, she endorsed and campaigned with President Trump.
According to your standards, anyone who endorsed Ted Cruz in 2016 would also be a bad pick, despite the fact that he endorsed President Trump after the primary season. Or any of the other 13 candidates who ran in the 2016 primary.
Surgeon general pick is bad. Doesn’t mean I don’t support Trump.
Let’s be serious here. If it comes down to a policy decision, President Trump will make it and the Surgeon General will salute and say “yes sir”.
Not if he has a competent Surgeon General he won’t.
Unelected bureaucrats don’t make policy, no matter how competent they are, that is at odds with the wishes of the President. If they do, they are fired.
WRONG. Trump never got involved with HIS surgeon general during his entire 4 years. No reason to believe he’d start now.
Now that’s the kind of positive news we should all be cheering.
The List is ALL of them!
I know , huh? THE LIST ALREADY EXISTS!
Now if she wants to secure an arrest warrant for the operative/cop that murdered Ashli Babbit, then be my guest!
That case seems open and shut!!
Even the FBI assets?
Are you’re sure that absolutely no one who got locked up wasn’t an asset?
I don’t know myself, but I take a wait and see approach before saying all.
Biden traded a Russian arms dealer for a basketball quasi-star. So, yeah, I’d give any assets a pass if that’s what it took to free all the J6ers.
