There’s no doubt Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt is supporting President Trump’s nominees, Schmitt says “yes, I will,” full stop. Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville is a little less optimistic, but still in favor of supporting President Trump’s nominees.
Tuberville says the issues within the GOP Senate need to be worked out between their opening session on January 5th and the inauguration of President Trump on January 20th. The GOP needs to hammer out their positions during that timeline, then shut up and support the President.
The conversation then moves to the specific support for Matt Gaetz, both MAGA senators Schmitt and Tuberville say they will support Gaetz for the reasons of confronting the weaponization of Main Justice. On Saturday Levin did a masterful job of explaining how young blood can and will be an asset to Trump’s promise to change this stagnant and almost Communist condition that the old guard (obstinate and old usually go together) has allowed to be created in this nation.
He outlined the ages of those who wrote the Constitution, which required a lot from those young people back in 1787. It has turned out to be the guiding light that allowed this great nation to develop. It is time for most of those in their 80s to take that final ride home and enjoy retirement. Levin is pleading a good case for this establishment to give the younger generation a chance.
I also watched his interview with Charlie Kirk. It has taken him and his non-profit organization 12 long years to accomplish their mission to identify, educate, train and organize Americans to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government.
He is able to reach youth that have been brainwashed and old senators and old cabinet members can’t do that. The writing is on the wall and many of them haven’t done a decent days work for this nation in years. All they can do is count their money and work deals with lobbyist who can pay them more money.

There is an impression I get of President Trump: if an American patriot who supports law and order does not disagree publicly but speaks privately seeking to present him with a well reasoned alternative that there is a good likelyhood he will change his position. The willingness of President Trump to speak to people with various views and give them his consideration stands in contrast with that of previous presidents. A good president needs to find a balance between being principled and being pragmatic to promote constructive changes that will benefit all citizens.
