The articles are super interesting and well worth reading, but here’s a summary: two major funds which help women pay for their baby-shredding have received far fewer donations in 2023-2024 (maybe because of Bidenflation?). One of them, the National Abortion Fund, had to reduce its payouts for abortions from 50-100% to just 30% of procedure costs, so the women or the clinics need to cover the remainder. Apparently a lot of women cannot afford to pay and the clinics are running out of money and some need to close. The CEO of the National Abortion Fund is now begging for money, including putting pressure on corporations. I hope the corporations refuse.

When scrutinizing Trump’s picks for positions I find it helpful to do dated searches to find out what those people said about or did for/against Trump between 6/1/2015 and 12/31/2020.
I did a search for Waltz with that date range and the search term “Mike Waltz Trump” just to see what would come up. I see that Waltz campaigned for Trump in 2020. I see that Waltz voted no to impeach Trump in December 2019. I see that Waltz was one of 106 House Republicans in 2020 who supported a Texas lawsuit to throw out the 2020 election results in four swing states.
Every other thing I find is good. Waltz appears to be pro-Trump and I have not found anything concerning.
He supports US troops in Ukraine, he supports the Russia-as-our-enemy narrative and he supports a get-tough-with-Russia stance. These positions show that he’s just another boneheaded, reality challenged warhawk Neocon who will directly oppose taking the measures needed to achieve the peace that Trump campaigned on. His only qualification seems to be that he has displayed loyalty to Trump in the past. Trump had many far better picks out there. This is extremely disappointing.

It was unreal the trash (contraband) coming into those airports from people whose ultimate destination is the United States, in many cases undesirables traveling here from other countries. The border agents have to handle and deal with all that trash and absolute stinking stuff to identify drugs by digging around in baggage separating the drugs from unlikely places which is usually disgusting. I have more respect for them than ever.
