That’s the whole point of closing the Dept of Ed. I’m assuming he’s talking about during the interim before it can actually be closed, because it can’t be done overnight, and there will be a very big battle over this.

Private equity CEO and philanthropist Bill Pulte under consideration for HUD secretary post under Trump
Philanthropist Bill Pulte is eyeing the post of Housing and Urban Development secretary in President-elect Donald Trump’s second cabinet, The Post has learned.
Pulte, the founder of Twitter Philanthropy and CEO of Pulte Capital, is the grandson of home-building and real estate mogul William J. Pulte. The 35-year-old uses X as a platform to document his philanthropic efforts — including giving away thousands of dollars to strangers who often can’t afford groceries or other necessities.
There are “members on the transition committee who are advocating” for Pulte “loudly,” one source familiar with the situation told The Post, adding that Pulte has already had some “conversations” with members of the transition team.

I have clients that do business with Pulte. The Post is labeling him “Private Equity CEO” (knowing there is a negative connotation), but he’s basically a real estate developer, very much like President Trump himself. He has built a huge and successful company, one of the largest in the industry, and builds a lot of residential developments as well as commercial properties. He actually sounds perfect for this appointment.

I thought there was talk of Ben Carson taking over HHS. CDC is part of HHS so it makes sense to have a physician or other type of medically-trained person in that position. Daily Mail says Carson is the favorite for that spot but who knows if that report is correct. Maybe use RFK Jr for the FDA.

AK will probably be ours but that stupid ranked choice voting might screw things up, and they also wait til Nov 20 to receive all mail-in ballots which is so incredibly stupid. Why are the other states taking so long to finish counting? (rhetorical question there)
