McConnell is quitting as Majority Leader prior to three new Senators being seated. He wants his man in there before they caucus in January, so his choice will have an advantage. Pfui.

There is going to be a relatively brief opportunity for government reforms to pass the Senate, before the money flows are redirected and paid to the order of the new Republican majority. So the Majority Leader elected in January must be MAGA. There is no time to lose in draining the swamp; it must be done rapidly, before new emoluments are in place. So, the Majority Leader simply must be on board. President Trump should advocate for his choice, publicly or privately, in the strongest way. This position is leader of the caucus, so there is nothing inappropriate in that.

We got our first ever credit refunds in the middle of winter 2019 and it paid for 1 1/2 months of winter energy bills. The credits were to pay us back for overpayments from the date the law took effect in 2018, and we got the lowered pricing going forward. I’ve never had that happen in my lifetime.
We’ve always been on the upward austerity plan here in the USA, starting with at least Jimmy Carter, as I remember it. We’ve always been promised energy independence, but it was always lies, lips moving, until President Trump. And he got us there very quickly.

President Trump needs to tell the Energy companies to start doing what needs to be done NOW to start getting those bills down again, because help is on the way. They can’t just flip a switch. Between Scott Pressler and the Trump team, they had more lawyers than should exist on the ground at each poll location in battleground states waiting for the trucks. And with Judge signed papers in hand to say “denied”.
So a repeat of 2020 was not allowed. I am not sure they tried that hard to do that this time, because the news would have exploded if they tried, but there were some attempts here and there.
Basically, nobody liked Kamala. Her own base saw her and saw she was weak and just kind of annoying. Nobody want that cackle for 4 more years man.
Trump…well he did well enough based on eggs, bread, and cheese standards, so he won. Trump did not give a new message. He did not pander to anyone new. He did bring up taxes and tax code stuff and we’re all interested in that, but nobody I know believes the income tax will go away in our life time.
