For more than two years we have been saying to keep an eye on Moldova in the background. Yesterday Moldova held their national election, and while the actual number of people living in Moldova voted for the anti-war position, once the overseas ballots were added the results changed. The nationalists became the minority and the pro-war/pro-EU globalists declared victory.
This may seem like a relatively ‘over there’ and small issue. However, the people who control Joe Biden, the U.S. State Dept and the CIA have been positioning themselves in/around Moldova for several years now. Watch out for Moldova to become the spark that leads to escalated conflict with Russia.
Moldova has a significant population of pro-Russia citizens in the east, which makes the internal domestic dynamic a little strenuous to manage. It is very similar to Ukraine in that regard. It is much smaller than Ukraine, but similar inside the national political dynamic. Additionally, the geopolitical dynamic that is unfolding with the use of Moldova is identical to how the U.S/NATO exploited Ukraine.
A lot depends on what happens tomorrow in the U.S. election. This aspect cannot be overstated. However, there is now a high degree of confidence, if the people behind Kamala Harris are able to pull off a manipulated USA election, Moldova will immediately become the fulcrum for expanded direct conflict between the “west”, led by the USA, and Russia.
With the globalists and pro-war EU institutions how cemented into the national politics of Moldova, all of the elements for an unstable powder keg are in place. Just like Ukraine, Vladimir Putin will not permit the open use of geographical proximity to provoke conflict directly on Russia’s border. What Ukraine was, Moldova now is.

It was the Moldovan ex-pat community, living outside Moldova, that overwhelmingly decided the fate of this small nation that borders Russia.
Oddly, and I have made ancillary mention to this in the past, there is an absolutely massive population of ex-pat Moldovans living in/around Jackson Hole Wyoming. Years ago I started noticing it, but I had no real context to understand why there was such a dense population of people from a relatively obscure country all in one place. We all know who else lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming: Dick and Liz Cheney.
The people living in Moldova are majority aligned with Russia. However, the people voting in the election from outside Moldova changed the dynamic of the election. This reality creates a major source of angst for Russia and Vladimir Putin. This dynamic also creates the point on the stick the EU/USA and CIA will use to poke the bear.

I should mention that I grew up reading maps with “Moldavia” on them. The name “Moldova” is the newer version – coming from Romanian – of the older term Moldavia.
Given the disruptions in that area throughout the centuries, drawing ethnic maps or linguistic maps is a nightmare!
Because of that, the “Pan-Slavism” movement of the later 1800’s and early 1900’s tried to unite all the Slavs under a common consciousness, leading to a unified Slavic state.
It did not work, of course, precisely because of the multitude of subdivisions culturally, ethnically, and linguistically.
One big division: Religion! e.g. Czechs and Poles among others wanted nothing to do with Orthodoxy, especially with Russian Orthodoxy seeing itself as “first among equals.” To be sure, the Orthodox wanted nothing to do with Roman Catholic or Protestant Slavs.

There are as many Moldovan citizens (eligible to vote) residing within Russia (estimates go as high as 400,000) as there are within the EU, but only ~3,000 ballots were provided to those within Russia. The counted ballots were not fraudulent but the election was.

I can answer to that as I have lived and worked in and around Jackson Hole for decades.
The National Parks -Yellowstone &Grand Teton – as well as all the resorts hire a lot of seasonal workers from the ranks of J1 visa holders (foreign student workers). Many of these come from all parts of eastern Europe and Russia. In the late 90s the Russian mafia began establishing a presence in Jackson and early in the 2000s the influx of Slavic J1s began.
I’m not certain why they were chosen per se, but many of the Moldovans stayed and started or took over many of the taxi services in Jackson. It’s an unspoken yet open secret that the Russians directly control the prostitution in Jackson and indirectly control transportation services.
For those that may not be familiar with Jackson Hole, it is a high-end resort town. And Teton county, WY is one of the wealthiest counties in the US. Some of the richest people in the US and the world have summer homes in the area. Rockefellers and the Saudi royal family are examples.
Teton county is also the most leftist county in the nation’s most conservative state. So it would not surprise me if these Moldovan ex-pats voted in the interests of the EU.

How short they were is up for speculation.

Actually each member has to request a ballot from their home state polling precinct of legal address or their current legal CONUS address if it is different.

True, but in the last election there were multiple accounts by service members, particularly Navy, that complained that they either never received requested ballots, or were given them after it was too late.
I don’t doubt it and vaguely recall mention of problems with military absentee ballots. The DOD should not be at fault though, more likely those service members resided in deep blue swing state precincts. It would be interesting research to locate and collate which military members from which location were denied their right to vote, (by their own home of record voting officials most likely).
One woud presume not so much snail mail in the overseas postal system due to email, text messaging, video calls and such in the modern world. Not sure if some states and precincts would allow some other means of submitting a ballot by other than hard copy?

A NY poll watcher informs me that all ballots received through the voting precincts on Election Day will later be sent by courier to a post office or police station. This is most likely where the fraud will occur.

You’re judging them wrong. Many Moldovans plan to return to their own country to build a house and live in retirement, or start a business, with the money made in first rate countries. They have a lot to lose in a war with Russia.
The problem is Moldova doesn’t have a good alternative politically. It’s an extremely corrupt country. They either have to choose between corrupt pro-russian goons, who btw have been caught over the years red handed committing massive voter fraud and blatant vote buying, or pro Brussels liberal pukes like Sandu (they’re not nearly as insane as the US or Canadian liberals though, but still…).
Moldova was part of Romania, until Russians took it by force (an ultimatum) in 1940. It’s not like Moldova decided to separate from their mother country like the US did the British Empire. Moldovans are Romanians by culture and ethnicity – same language, folk songs, traditional clothing, similar food and they even have twin towns by name as the ones in Romania. Moldovans suffered enough under Russian terror (property confiscation, mass murder, population replacement etc.). So can you blame them for voting the way they did? Moldova doesn’t want to return to that cruel master again. And they’re not slavs like Ukrainians either, so they have much less in common with Russia. Moldovan king Stephen the Great fought off the ottoman invasion for decades, only for Moldova to end up now almost electing a Turk in Alexandr Stoianoglo, who barely even speaks the official language, Romanian. Oh and many imported Russians, who have been living for decades in Moldova refuse to assimilate and speak Romanian.
Don’t get me wrong, I hate this Ukraine bull crap. Zelensky should be hanged for crimes against his own people. But Russia will be Russia. History teaches us this fact. And the fact that Putin signed CBDC into his country’s tax code should worry everybody who is against CBDC in the west and not romanticize with the fantasy that Russia is some sort of a born again Christian country. At the very least EU countries, even the big ones, like Germany, France and Spain have real conservative alternatives to the demonic left that is ruling there right now. Those alternatives have a good shot at winning the next elections. And Italy, Netherlands and Austria turned conservative recently. We are talking about true conservatism with western Christian values.
So if you look at the context, it’s easy to see why they made this choice.

My pleasure. I wanted to bring some very needed nuance here, because Eastern European history is pretty obscure and complicated.
A big chunk of Moldovans are working abroad, on account of the country being the poorest in Europe. Working in Russia was convenient, since most Moldovans know Russian, because under Soviet rule Romanian language was not recognized or even banned. So they learned the language of the invader.
Second reason is paperwork. It’s why Russia is a more attractive destination for work, or used to be, until Romania offered citizenship restoration for all Moldovans who want it, so that now they can travel and work freely in the EU with a Romanian passport.
You wouldn’t believe though how many of them are anti-West, anti-Romania and pro-Russian while benefitting from Romanian citizenship. These people are so brainwashed, they dream of the return of communism. And they tell it openly.

Fomenting a war a majority of the actual population does not want on the basis of an expatriate population which may not even exist cements defeat before the conflict even begins. When IDs, issued to non-citizens are accepted at the voting booth, non=citiznes can vote.
When mules collect blank ballots, non-citizens can vote.
When ballots printed by private parties are accepted by election officials, non-citizens can vote.
It is a federal crime, punishable by up to a year in prison, to vote in a federal election if you are not a citizen. State penalties vary.
Everything folks are describing here is facilitating the commission of a federal crime, and mailing out ballots to non-citizens may even subject the people/organizations doing it to RICO prosecutions. I do not understand why ballots from outside any country, whether it be the US or Moldova, should be allowed in any election! The opportunity for fraud is absolutely huge and the entire premise behind the practice is utterly flawed!
IMHO, in our current election, aside from military members who are stationed overseas, and American citizens who have requested a ONE TIME absentee ballot due to a VERIFIED vacation/temporary work assignment on election day, there should be NO ballots coming from outside the US!
The idea that ex-pats, who by their very actions have announced that they prefer to live somewhere OTHER than this country, think that they should be allowed to say what happens in a place they no longer call home is ludicrous.
