The leaders of the European Union are nervous about President Trump: (1) ending the war in Ukraine, and then (2) ending the Marshal Plan, thereby taxing their exports to the U.S as Trump demands tariff reciprocity; and lastly (3) forcing them to pay for their previous NATO commitments.

Brussels has set up a defensive office within the EU bureaucracy called “The Trump Task Force.”

BRUSSELS — Top European Union officials have met with the bloc’s ambassadors to talk through what it would mean if Donald Trump wins the U.S. election, 12 EU diplomats told POLITICO.

“They’re worried about trade but mostly [about] Ukraine,” one of the diplomats said, adding that Brussels foresees “abrupt changes on U.S. policy even before the inauguration.” The diplomat, like others quoted in this piece, was granted anonymity to speak candidly.

The conversations revolved around two areas of uncertainty should the Republican candidate reclaim the White House: Whether Washington would continue to support Ukraine and the prospect of higher U.S. tariffs for all incoming goods.

In 2016 the Cultural Marxists accused candidate Donald Trump of “islamophobia” for announcing a ban on travel without vetting from extremist countries; what they called a “Muslim ban.”  Now, on the eve of the 2024 election, at the epicenter of a region containing the highest population of Arabs and Muslims in America, the religious and civic leadership representing them stand and shout an enthusiastic endorsement for President Trump.

Dear Faithful American Catholics,

I am addressing all of you, a few days before the Presidential Election that will call millions of American citizens to the polls.

Even in conditions of relative normality, the exercise of the vote is your moral duty, through which you cooperate in the first person in choosing the person who will lead the Nation for the next four years. But in this coming electoral round – just as in 2020 and indeed much more so – you are not simply called to choose between two candidates who happen to be on different political sides but who both nevertheless have the common good at heart in compliance with the Constitution and the Law. No; in this election you must choose between two radically opposed ways of conceiving the government of your Nation: you are called to choose between democracy and dictatorship, between freedom and slavery.

On one side we have candidate Donald J. Trump, who, despite serious problems in his positions – especially in the matter of abortion and assisted procreation – has as his objective the common good and the protection of the fundamental freedoms of citizens. In Donald Trump’s America, every Catholic can practice their Faith and educate their children in it without interference from the State.

On the other side we have a candidate and a party that promotes everything that directly opposes the Faith and Morals of the Catholic Church. In Kamala Harris’ America, Catholics – but also Protestants – are considered fundamentalists to be marginalized and eliminated, and their children are considered the property of the State, which arrogates to itself the right to lead them astray from an early age in both body and soul. Trump’s America can become great and prosperous again. Harris’ America is destined for invasion and for moral, social, and economic destruction: the most ferocious dictatorship.

There is a lot of conflicting information about a recent 5th Circuit Court of Appeals (5th CCA) ruling that remands a lower court opinion back to the State of Mississippi.  You can read the 5th CCA RULING HERE.

The appellate judges stated that “Election Day,” as designated by Congress, is the last day ballots can be received by state officials. “Text, precedent, and historical practice confirm this ‘day for the election’ is the day by which ballots must be both cast by voters and received by state officials,” the court wrote, adding that Mississippi’s policy allowing ballots to arrive up to five days later is in conflict with federal law.

While the 5th CCA has jurisdiction over Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas, the decision only impacts Mississippi should the federal district court judge agree to bar the state from counting late-arriving mail-in ballots.  Yes, it is a win for Mississippi election integrity, but -no- it is unlikely to have a major impact on the overall election.

The ruling only applies to Mississippi, and the decision simply reverses the previous ruling and remands the issue back to the judge.  I hope that helps clear up any confusion.

According to the grapevine rumors, Beyonce’ requested millions for her attendance to the Kamala Harris event in Houston, Texas; however, the campaign didn’t want to pay. As a result, all they got was 2 minutes of Beyonce’ on stage endorsing Harris. A typical bait and switch.

The media is spinning the event furiously, trying to ignore the disappointment of those who attended. It was easily the largest audience event for Kamala Harris in the entire campaign series, and Beyonce’s blase’ appearance was typical of what the Kamala camp is known for, over-promising and underdelivering – typical smoke and mirrors.

TEXAS – […] People had lined up outside the Shell Energy Stadium, best known as the city’s soccer stadium, several hours before the show. Um, we mean, rally. At times the stadium did feel more concert than rally with light up bracelets and a DJ.

While some supporters were disappointed that Beyoncé didn’t perform, and instead the only live performance was from 91-year-old Willie Nelson, most said they were there for Harris. Hearing Beyoncé endorse the presidential candidate was just a bonus. They were treated to a Beyoncé playlist as the rally wrapped up and Harris met with supporters and took photos. (read more)

Come for Beyonce’ and get a dose of Kamala with a side of 91-year-old Willie Nelson.  You just can’t make this stuff up.
