Continuing a seemingly ridiculous need to speak about private conversations with President Trump, Robert F Kennedy Jr has created quite a stir by telling his supporters that President Trump has promised him “control over the public health agencies.”
In a video chat with his supporters, obtained by the Wall Street Journal, RFK Jr says he will have control over Health and Human Services (HHS), and the sub agencies of CDC, FDA, NIH and the USDA. While there is no reason to doubt the validity of what RFK Jr is saying, there is no reasonable purpose for him to be talking about specific positions, plans and objectives this close to the election. Why can’t this jack rabbit just keep his mouth closed? WATCH:

RFK hasn’t said anything Trump hasn’t said himself. Trump has said, on more than one occasion, words to the effect that he is going to turn RFK loose on big pharma, the FDA, etc. I’ve read a lot of RFK’s writings and I’m perfectly fine with this. I think he sincerely wants to clean up health care and health policy and I think he knows what needs to be done.
When did Trump ever say Bobby Jr’s name associated with “big pharma” or the “FDA” Link please.

I would think that this will either earn RFK a Come To Jesus talk with Our President or, for strategic reasons unknown, he already has clearance to shoot off his mouth like this. Maybe to be triggering those who would seem to be targets?

People can complain all they like about RFK Jr., but it took courage for him to join Trump who is also renowned for his courage and Trump is better off for it. I, for one, tip my hat to RFK and welcome him with open arms.
The only jackasses here are the ones who are complaining about RFK, Jr. who likely will have made the difference for Trump if the election turns out to be at all close.
Therein lies the potential for generous helpings of irony once we prevail.
That RFKjr’s support for POTUS might significantly and favorably have improved our chances at having our President back in office. I’d like that, as I’m a huge fan of irony.
I absolutely think this is a mistake made by Trump. RFK Jr. is going to back fire on him.

And to root out … the corruption, and the conflicts of interest; and to restore the traditions of gold-standard, empirically-based, evidence-based science and medicine, and to end the chronic disease epidemic. And he’s told me that he wants to see measurable results in the decline of chronic disease within two years. And I’ve promised him that we can to that.
Trump had not indicated whether Kennedy would have a specific Cabinet post, but the details were being worked out, Kennedy said.

Don’t let this guy get under your skin, SD. He’s from a legacy, elite family, and in his mind, not the normal station in life he was destined for.
Trump and the MAGA movement are eclipsing all political movements with historical speed and ease because it dovetails with our nature as humans. That alone is psychologically damaging to them.
You’re correct that he should keep his yap shut but I wouldn’t put too much weight into his claims.
Some people are deeply offended/betrayed by Trump’s Operation Warp Speed and his boasting about the va((ine. Many of those are RFK voters. RFK being vocal about his health plans keeps those voters voting Trump instead of staying home.
