Continuing a seemingly ridiculous need to speak about private conversations with President Trump, Robert F Kennedy Jr has created quite a stir by telling his supporters that President Trump has promised him “control over the public health agencies.”
In a video chat with his supporters, obtained by the Wall Street Journal, RFK Jr says he will have control over Health and Human Services (HHS), and the sub agencies of CDC, FDA, NIH and the USDA. While there is no reason to doubt the validity of what RFK Jr is saying, there is no reasonable purpose for him to be talking about specific positions, plans and objectives this close to the election. Why can’t this jack rabbit just keep his mouth closed? WATCH:

It’s wrong because it’s not his place to tell us. It is President Trump’s decision as to who controls what and his place to make the announcement. RFK Jr is not the president, regardless of what the voices in his head are telling him.
Maybe he has a great need for purpose, we all do.
His need for purpose doesn’t outweigh the need for discipline in communication. This is a high stakes presidential campaign, not a “purpose seeking” journey.
How do we know that it wasn’t coordinated with the campaign to motivate his supporters to vote for Trump. I know a lot of kennedy supporters that were mostly Democrat but anti-vaccine. They are no longer motivated to vote unless he has the opportunity to make the changes he was promising them.

You’re talking about good form, which is there to prevent loose lips from sinking ships. In this case, it would be bad form for RFK to say things out of self-interest and without coordinating them with the Trump campaign. But this has been a very unorthodox campaign, and the charitable take is that Trump has authorized these statements, or has at least sanctioned what he is doing. In this case, it is clearly an effort to pull RFK supporters, especially those who value him for his anti-vaccine stance, over to Trump.
Remember, many people remain suspicious of Trump because of his support of what turned out to be an ineffective and very dangerous drug. He is in the uncomfortable position of having to not undercut what was a managerial achievement and being labeled a science denier if he repudiates the clot shot. This is a way of reassuring people that such disastrous interventions will be less likely in his new administration, but he can avoid the trap of denouncing one of the signature efforts of his first term.

Whether or not PDJT has “promised” RFKJ a role such as head of HHS, this news may sway some “clean-eating”, earth-loving, non-GMO, organic food people that there WILL be a powerful opponent against Big Ag/Bid Pharma in a 2025 Trump term. In a close race, every additional group’s support can make a difference. And, for all we know, RFKJ may well have made a deal with the Dealmaker-in-Chief to exchange political endorsement for upper-level Executive power.

If he really wanted to make an impact he’d say so something like, “I am very excited that we’re finally going to be able to rein in Ag and Pharma. I can’t tell you why I know that, but the people in those agencies and the companies that leech off them better get ready.”

Anything RFK jr says re his roles within POTUS next administration is mitigated by POTUS very public statements re RFK, that he might have to “reign him in”. “Keep him away from oil” etc ( paraphrased poorly ).

One cannot overestimate RFKjr and possible future roles, without underestimating POTUS’ judgement regarding them.

Key words: “President Trump promised me….” That means President Trump is in control/charge of the promise. Why, oh why does there have to be a Boogeyman behind every tree? I live at the edge of the forest, I have to trust God or I’d never leave my house. At some point you have to take chances and trust (not be stupid of course) or you will never have time to “live your best life.”
Listening to RFK Jr. helped me through the dark days of COVID. All the while, my frequent writing emails to politicians was useless. I’ve also listened to him talk about his spirituality (if I recall correctly in a more recent interview with Tucker Carlson). It does a lot for me to know where people stand in relationship to their Creator. I thank God Donald Trump sees the value in RFK Jr. Until we are privileged to additional information, anything else at this point is speculation.

As for Trump: originally a Republican, a Democrat. Later he joined the Reformed Party and campaigned for POTUS as a member of REFORMED platform.
In 2000 DJT official left the Reformed Party and joined the Republican Party after as he put it “a bigot and a problem” joined (David Duke) the party.
