Tonight, Robert F Kennedy Jr delivered a speech at the MAGA rally at Madison Square Garden. After reminiscing about the Democrat party losing their way, RFK Jr explains why he has left the democrat party and decided to endorse President Donald Trump.
During his remarks about how the Democrats are now the party of totalitarian communists, RFK Jr blamed Democrats for the Patriot Act and the subsequent surveillance state they support. WATCH:

Cool!
This dovetails nicely with Sundance’s discussion of the Trump transition team from a bit ago.
RFK, Jr. discussing the transition team, not a single corporate lobbyist on it.
“But I can tell you this, which is unique: there are no corporate lobbyists on that transition team. And, usually, it’s 100% corporate lobbyists. So it’s very, very different, and it gives me lots of hope that this government is gonna be different than any government we’ve ever seen.”
I don’t know who else is using the term “pirate ship” to describe the diversely talented Trump team, but Scott Adams does and it really seems to work. If the establishment hates them, they are welcome on Trump’s pirate ship.
I still worry about JD Vance, the man who was created in the same way Barack Obama was created… and changed his name THREE FLIPPING TIMES.
I agree on Vance, Daniel. We’ve been hoodwinked by far too many for far too long. It’s made me personally a little punch drunk when trying to evaluate candidates. That battered conservatives moniker is quite apt.
We live in such extraordinary times.
DJT is likely a true moderate yet he and his supporters are portrayed as Nazis.
The party that spews hate, divisiveness and angst is portrayed as the party of joy.
It is a world gone mad is so many ways. DJT referring to us as the party of common sense is accurate.
And we’re darned tired of being demonized.
I liked him calling out the CIA more than anything else.
I want to like this guy, bro. But something has my dander up. I cannot pinpoint the ping to my gut mind axis. I Pray he walks the walk.
Applaud the message.
Hold reservations about the messenger.
Wait and see.
.
I am.
I like his message.
However, I also think we need to get the oil flowing in this country. On that point I disagree.
The truth is the truth, regardless of who says it.
RFK2 has been 1,000% walking the walk since he entered the arena with President Trump. You can relax now!
As a life long Bostonian I can tell you your fears about any Kennedy is well warranted.
However, this guy had the covid scam figured from jump street and had the guts to say what needed to be said with no fear of repercussions.
Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
He speaks not only from knowledge, but also from personal experience!
He speaks not only from knowledge, but from personal experience!
That line got some of the loudest cheers, when Bobby went into the “list” portion of his speech.
Taking a long view – taking my mind back to before the Clintons taught me to look for the dagger behind every smile, RFK’s speech tonight was a signal historic moment that – taken at face value, 50 years ago would have been considered a seismic shift in the Pantheon of the ’60s-’70s political ethos.
In today’s media-flattened/saturated/manipulated zeitgeist of rabbit holes, suspicion of ulterior motives has become the gestalt.
But cutting through all that, history is here tonight in 2024, and we’re watching it unfold, live, in color, along with the last ghost of the educated Kennedys having his say. Dealey Plaza still echoes.
Buckle up for the denoument.
RFK jr. “The Democratic party was the party of Martin Luther King,…”
No, it was not. MLK was a registered Republican.
The Dems like to pretend MLK was a democrat. It’s a common myth among them.
I think he was referring to what MLK said and stood for being what the old Democrat party stood for. Not the party per se. He knows I’m sure that MLK was a Republican.
“I think he was referring to what MLK said and stood for being what the old Democrat party stood for”
The old Democrat party stood for Jim Crow laws and slavery. They were the Copperheads and the Confederacy.
MLK marched against what the old Democrats stood for.
U.S. Senator Robert Carlyle Byrd, Democrat Senate majority leader was a KKK Kleagle.(recruiter)
Longest serving member of the U.S. senate in history.
Unfortunately, MLK was convinced by Teddy to become a dem so he could get out of jail.
The “old Democrat party” killed MLKjr. What they moved on to PRETEND to be is a perverted version of what MLKjr wanted. The “old Democrat party” was the KKK and would have lynched him straight away if they knew what MLKjr would do early on.
And to be clear, the Democrat party is STILL the party of identity politics. They haven’t actually changed at all. They have more black people than before it’s true but that doesn’t actually mean anything when you consider there were a LOT of black slave owners when slavery was legal. What matters is whether or not you abuse people to their detriment and to your benefit. And that has NEVER changed under Democrat control.
The Dems have been trying to associate themselves with MLK beginning shortly after they had him killed.
The Democrat party was and is, the party of war, the party of Jim Crow and segregation, and the party attacking the middle class via the Federal Reserve act and Federal income tax.
They are also the party that has and still does, attack free speech and freedom of religion.
Not sure what party RFK Jr. had in mind when he was talking about the old Democrat party, but the Democrat party has NEVER been on the side of freedom.
Last year I watched an interview of RFK2 with Rin Unz and I predicted that RFK2 would partner with President Trump for the 2024 election. In that interview, RFK2 all but flat-out accused the CIA, MIC and Lyndon Johnson of murdering his uncle and his father.
Bobby Kennedy knew who was responsible for his brother’s murder and made it known that he wasn’t going to let it go unpunished when he became President. That’s what led to his murder in Los Angeles after locking up the Democrat nomination!
Just would be nice if he retracted his comment from a few years ago that those who are “climate deniers” should be locked up.
My favorite part was the ending of the surveillance state!!!
I know there’s a lot of “reserved trust” in this Democratic supporter. But I think we should step back and look at Trump from a more objective point of view. If Hilary wasn’t the assigned candidate for 2016 and the DNC not so corrupt, Trump would have run as a Democrat and won EASILY. And because he ran as a Democrat, we wouldn’t trust him at all. That’s all objectively true… if Trump felt safe running as a Democrat. He already had their support in great numbers.
RFKjr talks like someone with a victim complex. He may have the desire to right the wrongs against him and it would be justified in my opinion. But the person with a victim complex is the last person we want to prosecute against those who did him wrong. Trump is no such victim and his temperament excludes him from such criticism. Not sure that would be the case for RFKjr.
BUT, if he applies his enthusiasm to cleaning up the FDA and the drug makers and the food makers? GIVE’m HELL RFKjr!!! GIVE’m HELL!
When I learned about the “ordinary and common aches and pains associated with my age” isn’t?! Its associated with our food? That dementia is actually a form of DIABETES?
I’ve been cutting out all processed oils and any food that uses them. It’s HARD to avoid all of the poisons. But my improvements have been amazing the more I stick to it.
Admittedly, I visited McDonald’s over the weekend. Haven’t been there in a VERY long time because of the pricing. But I felt compelled to visit if only because Trump was there… not the one I went to, of course but you know. Hold smokes are the prices insane. And I observed what people were buying… it’s REALLY sad. They were buying the cheap stuff for the prices which were once “the best stuff.” But since I wasn’t planning to make a habit of it, I did something that surprised people in the back. I ordered two premium burgers and large fries. Stupidly expensive. And I told them “take your time. don’t rush my order. Just get it right.”
Everything came out really good. But I’ll not visit there again probably until Trump is in office and the prices come down.
Anyway, we need much better food in the US. The stuff that is forbidden in Mexico is the stuff that should be forbidden in the USA. The stuff that is forbidden in Japan should be forbidden in the USA. Our food is a poisonous JOKE. HFCS is nothing short of being poison and it’s worse because to get the “same effect level” of sugar, you have to put at least double the volume of HFCS than you would for actual sugar. It’s disgusting when you find that out.
And real sugar is more healthy than any substitute. Your body knows how to process sugar, your liver and other organs get damaged by the other stuff. It’s not just “weight loss” you need to look at.
