I have come to the researched conclusion that “Leftism” is factually a mental disorder, requiring adherents to be part of a tribal mentality. If the tribe does stupid stuff, the individual does stupid stuff; that’s how modern Democrats operate, including their voting patterns. The arc of this modern slope goes from the self-centered, narcissistic “we are the world” stupidity (early 1980’s), all the way to today.

With all due respect, I disagree with the statement mental disorder and demonic influence are one and the same. My severely handicapped son is mentally retarded, autistic and bipolar. My daughter is bipolar. My Christian sister’s death certificate stated she was schizophrenic. My mother suffered from periods of long depression.

I have a learning-disabled close relative (attributed to a malformed heart in utero and that self-healed about a year after birth) and I also have a different close relative (different branch of family) with classic Aspergers (also from birth) which is a form of autism. I am no stranger to developmental issues due to brain injury/malformation.
The mental disorder to which I was referring is neither congenital, nor caused by oxygen deprivation as a young child, nor by toxins such as found in most vaccines since the 1980s. The mental disorder to which I am referring is characterized by otherwise inexplicable / inappropriate aggressive violent behavior that occurs with people whose general historical behavior had been “normal”. It can affect young people or old people.
IMHO (and the opinion of some scholarly researchers who have studied this) the psychiatric profession has deliberately muddied the waters from its beginnings as to what causes behavior and what may cure it or treat it. In my town we have had an uproar over certain material of a sexual nature being in the children’s section of our public libraries.
