As constituted, the whole of US Government and most state governments are terrorist organizations against the great people of this country.
While there is much truth in your statement, I would suggest it is not the “whole of government” that is a terrorist organization. It is “bad actors” who have infiltrated and taken over these institutions and weaponized them against the citizens.
A knife, a saw or a hammer are simply tools. When used properly by a skilled craftsman, they can be very effective to build and create great things. However, when used improperly by bad actors, they can be used as weapons that destroy.
It’s not the tool. It’s how it’s used.
While it may be necessary to clean out the toolbox and update the tools from time to time, we can’t get rid of the entire toolbox. We still need some tools (still need some form of governance).
We should get rid of all the bad actors who have weaponized those tools.
So if 9.8% of it is left in place, we should be good to go.

President Trump mentioned reducing the size of government by 80-90 % if I am quoting him correctly.
I don’t want to give the impression that I am a fan of big government. Quite the opposite.
We need some form of governance. We just don’t need what we have seen our governments evolve into.
We have witnessed the incredible expansion of government that has gone from the mission of simple “oversight” to what has evolved into incredible “overreach” and the outright appearance of “weaponization” against the citizenry. I hear the term “mission creep” used quite often. We need to get back to basics.
In the words of President Reagan, “If the government would just get the hell out of the way.”
The recent “Chevron deference” ruling by the Supreme Court is the start of some great changes that lie ahead.
President Trump’s continued elimination/reduction of regulations during his first term was one of his administration’s greatest achievements. I expect it will continue full steam ahead in his next term.
A good example of regulatory choke hold is all the fees associated with one’s electric bill…
I thought I heard PDJT recently say that for every new regulation, he would eliminate “10”…in his first admin, I think it was 2 or 3….?
Removing 10 would certainly get the boot off of our necks.
President Trump had a policy of removing 3 regulations for every 1 new regulation created. That was his initial policy going into his first term.
At the end of his first term, the actual number ended up being around 7 regulations that were eliminated for every 1 new regulation created. These numbers are from one of his recent interviews.
When President Trump met with manufacturers and business owners during his administration, he thought it would be his tax cuts that benefitted them the most. To his surprise, they all said it was his reduction and elimination of regulations that benefitted them the most.

I don’t know how the EPA survives (at least in its current form). It shouldn’t survive.
President Trump already mentioned eliminating the Dept of Education and returning that role back to the states where it belongs.
Unfortunately, the EPA is tied to the hip with the US Army Corps of Engineers.
The Corps acts as the enforcement arm of the EPA, especially in regards to regulating waters of the US (WOTUS).
Many federal agencies are intertwined with each other.
In addition, agencies like FEMA are regulating and funding state floodplain programs (National Floodplain Insurance Program-NFIP). The states then regulate and audit the counties which have been tasked with Floodplain management.
The same goes with the EPA and state environmental regulatory agencies.
I guess my point is that you can’t simply defund or eliminate the EPA or FEMA without that action adversely impacting state and county regulatory programs.
You could argue that those state and county regulations could be greatly diminished; however, that is not likely to happen.
It’s a complicated web of interconnectedness.
As a civil engineer, I am forced to deal with regulatory over reach on a daily basis.
I have found that doing anything in the “water” has become so complicated and snarled up with regulations, that the cost of complying with those onerous regulations sometimes exceeds the actual construction cost for a project.
My Dad worked for Corp….Head of Emergency Management at one time. Also worked on the Tom Bigbee Waterway..was tasked with finding employment opportunities for the people in Mississippi..(don’t ask me why the corp had it’s nose in that). He was invited to DC to give the details of his jobs recommendations. That was 1970’s, my first visit to DC and I will never forget it.
Would love to take my Granddaughter as I had promised, but sadly that is not an option today.
I never understood why the corp was so involved overseas , in other countries in general. Also, there are many instances of election related fraud that are Identity theft. Federal, local, and state depending on what was on the ballot. And if you stole someone’s identity and usinf electronic or mail to get your registration forms and/or ballots or to mail either back in, for every instance of the use of mail or wire/electronic/internet/fax is Mail/Wire fraud. These are federal charges and there is a set $ amount for each instance plus a set # of years to go to the fed penitentiary for each instance.
Example:
You used the internet to falsely request a ballot not your own.
A ballot was mailed to you at your request, but not your own.
You filled out the ballot not belonging to you and mailed it back to be counted.
That is 3 instances of mail/electronic fraud, plus identity theft.
I think I would tack on one more on that mail/wire fraud and that is using the electronic machine to count the ballot.
