Its back. Wow, that was strange. We need a plan if our key sites go dark. Legal Insurrection was not working either.
The Internet Archive briefly displayed a pop-up on Wednesday claiming the site had been hacked. By 5:30 PM ET, the pop-up disappeared, but the site went fully offline with a message stating, “Internet Archive services are temporarily offline.”
The pop-up warned about a potential security breach, where 31 million users’ data would eventually appear on Have I Been Pwned?, a service checking data leaks, which later confirmed the authenticity of the breach.
Archivist Jason Scott indicated the site was experiencing a DDoS attack, stating it was done “just because they can.” An account named SN_Blackmeta claimed responsibility and hinted at future attacks.

I had trouble pulling up CTH about a week ago. Very slow and page kept buffering. Now this week I’m being redirected to YouTube on other websites and instructed to sign in to prove I’m not a bot? Never happened before.

She was helping during the 2022 election in AZ with Kari Lake, I think it was, and she kind of backed out. Supposed to have a team of lawyers watching that election for any issues of possible cheating and then just seemed to not do anything and left. I may not be remembering it correctly but I was kind of surprised she’s back there again. Not sure if that is bad or good for Trump election.

Guatemalan police raided five regional offices of the British aid agency Save the Children as part of an investigation into alleged child abuse.
Earlier this year, prosecutors also conducted raids related to the organization’s suspected involvement in child trafficking.

Remember that large fire at the chemical plant in Georgia last week?
Kenny Johnson, a Georgia environmental official, tragically collapsed and died shortly after testifying about the BioLab chemical fire near Atlanta.
The 62-year-old had just addressed a public meeting on the toxic blaze, which spread dangerous chlorine gas and forced 17,000 people to evacuate.
Moments before collapsing, Johnson, an outspoken advocate for environmental safety, had complained of shortness of breath.
He was rushed to the hospital but did not survive. Now, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into his sudden death.
Johnson had been actively pushing for BioLab’s closure, warning of its environmental dangers.
He died shortly after speaking at this meeting.

‘Sleeper agent’ bots on X fuel US election misinformation, study says
Hundreds of apparent pro-Russian bot accounts on X are pushing US election misinformation and amplifying false narratives about Democratic contender Kamala Harris, a research group said Thursday, calling them “sleeper agents” for having evaded detection for years.

I really hate to have to report this. But the suic*de rate in Western North Carolina has SKYROCKETED in the ten days since Helene. I’ve spoken with officials from multiple counties who have confirmed this to me.
People who have lost everything, ended up trapped, had no communications with the outside world, no food or water, and nobody came to help them. It’s INFURIATING. These people were the victim of a government coverup and the Harris Biden regime slow walked the response so that the media would ignore the problem.
It COST INNOCENT LIVES. My heart breaks for these folks. Private citizens are the ones restoring hope for victims. The government is doing the opposite. Such a shame. Pray for them.
