It was suppressed, mocked if you wanted it to be done, it never was taken up in the SC and lower courts dismissed any other eligibility suits do to the old ‘no standing’ legal excuse and threatened judges.
The eligibility clause is nothing but words on paper now. It might as well be taken out of the Constitution for all the adherence to it. There are no brave people in power who will risk everything to force this issue into the open for everyone to see. Obama pretty much canceled that out when he was allowed to run and win.

Under President Trump, we have seen that it doesn’t have to be that way. We learned it can be better. It was better. We discovered that we don’t need to accept the managed decline of our nation.
During this “pause” phase between President Trump’s first and second terms, the “-” in the “45-47”, we are witnessing an accelerated “managed decline”. It is “an Awakening” for those who still needed it.
During President Trump’s second term, we will see the return to and the continuation of American Greatness. We will see Americans rising up and reaching their full potential. Those voices of evil will be drowned out by Americans who rise up and let their voices be heard. There is no hiding in the shadows. There is no distraction by bread and circuses. This is not a time to farm out this work to others. We must do this necessary work of restoring our Republic. This is all hands-on deck. This is a time of choosing. NHnative, or RF Burns, StephGray (+MaineCoon and others) if you in the house or, any other recognizable Eastern New England Treeper, I can set aside a few days from my business next week from Monday-Thursday to make a run to Asheville or comparable point in Eastern Tennessee to deliver donations. Am pretty sure I can fill up my pick up with needed items (coats, blankets, hats, boots….etc) over this week-weekend and be ready to depart Monday morning.
In short, I would like one other person to share the drive/travels with me, primarily from a safety standpoint and perhaps sharing gas expense.

Hello Dixie: I actually found a volunteer here locally willing to drive, then I made contact with a Pastor in East Tennessee who told me that the kind of donations I suggested (winter clothing, blankets, etc…) have come in abundance and not needed.
He also suggested that there mountain ready volunteers are there (on horses, mules, etc…) and what is really needed is financial support for people without a car or a home etc…
A group in the area is setting up a formal charity that will be closely directed to most effected. I exchanged my contact information and will pass along once shared with me.
I don’t think you’ll have a hard time getting a group together if you use social media and contact a few local Do-Gooders that are in the know- as far as what non-profit or church is doing what, so you can all join up.
I’ve done this here and I’m waiting for a call back from her.
She’s going to talk to our local crew volunteers this morning to see what we’ve got going on around where I am in SW NH.
I’ve got two large totes filled myself just from my own house that I’m waiting on learning where they’ll get brought to get down there.

I did put out a message on the one local social media I use and actually just called a (liberal) friend who I trust: he has a conference for his business next week and would not be available.

According to the North Carolina elections board website, five county boards of elections were closed as of Thursday morning. That includes Avery, Buncombe, Mitchell, Watauga, and Yancey counties, it shows.
In Avery, Buncombe, and Watauga counties, elections staff are working or taking calls. The status of Mitchell and Yancey counties is not clear as the elections website lists them as “closed” with no other details.
The website also includes a breakdown by party among registered voters in the 25 counties designated as disaster zones. Some 480,000 voters are registered as Republican and 292,000 as Democratic.
Another 490,000 are unaffiliated with either major party, the elections website shows. Around 10,000 people are registered with third parties in the affected areas.
