In 2016 the identified influence agents were from the nation of Russia. In 2024 the identified influence agents, Masoud Jalili, Seyyed Ali Aghamiri and Yasar Balaghi, are from the nation of Iran. All other aspects seemingly remain identical.
According to CBS, “The three defendants — identified in the indictment as Masoud Jalili, Seyyed Ali Aghamiri and Yasar Balaghi — are all members of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This is beyond suspicious. From the Wikileaks Vault 7 release we learned that US intelligence agencies have tools that give them the ability to hack a computer and make it look like someone else did it by way of fake attribution i.e. a false flag. I suspect this is what was done in this instance. How was the DOJ able to identify Iranian hackers by name if they didn’t have cooperation from the Iranian government something that would never have happened?
A couple a days ago a US journalist Ken Klippenstein released hacked material that contained personal information on JD Vance and his family. He was banned from X for violating the doxxing rules and exposing private information that put JD Vance and his family at risk. Elon weighed in and said Klippenstein’s actions were egregious in light of the recent assassination attempts. My question is how did Ken Klippenstein get a hold of this hacked information? Who gave it to him? Should the DOJ be investigating that angle? When it was first reported that Ukraine “hacked the Trump campaign” they said the information was given to the Harris campaign (how convenient!). Did the Harris campaign give the hacked documents to Klippenstein and other journalists? This is like a repeat of the Steele dossier.
If I could be advising the Trump campaign I would tell them not to take these reports at face value. This looks like the deep state is up to its usual dirty tricks and why not? They got away with it before. If as I suspect it was an agency of the US government that hacked Trump’s campaign this is the worst form of election interference I can think of.
