Something needs to be done about property tax. So many people are now realizing property prices are being fixed for government property tax gain
You don’t own your property – you rent it from this corporate mafia government. Property tax is so high now it’s like a second mortgage. We are being taxed and gaslighted to death by the foreign occupied DC regime.
If you don’t mind me asking, what are people paying in taxes on a home on say, 1/2 acre?
So happens that we just bought a house in Georgia on exactly .5 acre, we close in two weeks. Property tax is $1950 per year, which doesn’t sound bad until you factor in that last year it was $1400! Looks like they’ve assessed every year and raised it a little bit each time, until the current year’s jump.
One of the Florida amendments this year will automatically raise the homestead exemption for property tax by the rate of inflation.
Check your paperwork. I have heard that lenders are including a clause that, if the value of the home falls below the amount of the mortgage, they can, in essence, foreclose on that home to regain their outlay. It may be the result of the property bust in 2011 that destroyed so many banking institutions.
Oklahoma’s property tax runs almost 10% of valuation. The county treasurer officers fly over homes, looking for add-ons to your property. Their on-foor officers come by to verify when your improvement (like a pool) went into operation.
Property taxes and insurance increases are running people out of their homes. School tax is the worst. Why does a business have to pay school taxes? Kroger is NOT using the schools. That makes no sense to me. Nor does it make sense to penalize fixed income persons with school tax. That whole arena needs reform. Homeowners are sitting ducks to the vicious cycle of annually increasing property tax evaluations which increases the homeowners’ insurance. It’s all a scam.
It is time to go back to voting the old school way:
1. everybody votes on the same day –
2. a voter must be registered at least 30 days prior to election day
3. voting must be done in person only – no absentee or mail in nonsense
4. all ballots cast are done on paper with pen or pencil
5. all votes counted once pols close
6. No machine voting or counting
7. only citizens of the USA allowed to vote with valid ID
Until this is done we will continue to be ruled by appointed creatures of the deep state

Georgia needs a break. The environs around Savannah have been eaten up with car plants, warehouses and end users all rushing here. Not to mention the subdivisions for new people moving here. Our infrastructure is already groaning with the overload and something has gotta give before it breaks. The Corpse of Engineers did an oopsie when they approved the construction of all this. Not for the first time has those buffoons done harm here. The CoE FORGOT to require a study on the up-draw of water from the aquifer which supplies lower Georgia and Florida. Imagine that. The coastal islands communities are already having salt water incursions into their wells and ground water substrate which will kill trees and plants with deeper roots. The massive draw down of water is also causing the marsh and low lying areas to sink, i.e., the causeway to Tybee. Because we are right across the Savannah River from South Carolina, places like Hilton Head have spent millions $$ to build a salt water treatment plant and devise other means of dealing with future water shortages while the new construction is given a pass. So, how about sending all that construction to the states that can handle the increased requirements for development and give Georgia a break.
