Used to shop on Wayfair frequently for staging furniture/accessories…..came across some area rugs that look quite ordinary , not antique or valuable in any discerning way. Yet the prices being asked were in the tens of thousands….each rug had a female sounding name –realised that they were probably selling actual women –it was real, my spouse saw it too and we were shocked. We did read about a “conspiracy theory” about Wayfair being a marketplace for buying humans. Nothing ever was said or done about it far as I can tell. This was probably 2015-2016. haven’t been back to that site to see if it was still going on.
I remember hearing about that and then seeing that it was happening. I don’t think anyone did anything.

I don’t understand the priority of concentrating on this county. Trump won it by 20% in 2016 and by 14% in 2020. I’m sure there are other areas in PA of far more importance.
Do they realize that the Democrat lead in that county was probably due to tens of thousands of dead Democrats and people who have long since moved while the area already had trended Republican. Had they removed those voters from the rolls, I’m sure the Republicans would have already had the registration lead over the Dems.
I just watched an hour program on CHD-TV in which Catherine Austin Fitts reminded us all to pay attention to more than just the “Presidential Entertainment” as there are many other important things going on.
For example, in Arizona, I just discovered that there is a Proposition on the ballot that is setting the stage for eliminating roads and getting rid of our cars.
The Proposition is #479. A large, thick publicity pamphlet came in the mail over the weekend. It is all about this one Proposition in English and Spanish. It contains 20 pages of arguments by local politicians in favor of the proposition and essentially one page of arguments against the proposition. This would be the largest tax increase in Arizona’s history.
The proposition if passed would extend a half-cent sales tax another twenty years and raise billions for the “roads” but if you read the small print- it is largely about light-rail and is used by less than 1% of the population. It also plans to eliminate roads and lanes of traffic to make space for the light rails.
Nearly 40% of this new tax increase funds more light rail projects. The tax also funds “road diets” which wipe out existing streets in an effort to force Arizonans out of their cars. (Remember Project 2030)
This is not what Arizonans had in mind when they originally funded this. Twenty years ago they were promised more freeways and less congestion.
(Light-rail may work in other cities but Phoenix, Arizona is very spread out. And it is hot, very hot. We are just now coming out of more than four months of over 100 -many days over 110. Light rail failed because people would have to walk too far and the rails failed to cover any decent area as businesses are spread out widely.)

There’s an “amusingly useless” light-rail system in Atlanta, Georgia. But it honestly looks like a “Olympics leftover” that’s about twenty years too late. So far as I know, no one ever rides it. People do ride MARTA, a conventional commuter-rail system that directly serves(!) the airport. And, they do ride the MARTA buses.
So – exactly why was a “light rail system” constructed in a fairly-tiny downtown area already well-served by buses and commuter rail? I $$$ really $$$ don’t $$$ know … 🤡

That aside – at this point in time the lead-up events (most of which have long been documented and discussed) is so far below the priority line as to be indistinguishable from non-existence.

Because: if actual visitors can no longer believe – as they right-now no longer can believe – that “what they once saw from ‘a YouTube video’ is not today exactly(!) what they once saw – then …
