Arizona Supreme Court ignores state laws…opens door to massive fraud. RNC needs to be appealing this post haste! (even though “no standing” is the likely result)

The United States Constitution purposely states that election rules in each State are decided by: “the Legislatures thereof.” Not the Governor, and not the Courts. Whatever “the actual text of the enacted Law” says must be the decider.
Recently, however, “Lawfare™” has championed the idea that “the Courts” are the actual deciders. Instead of “several hundred people” who convene to create law, we might have only one Judge. Or, maybe three to nine. This is effectively a monarchy.
Ah yes, another dot connector! That’s how the Left operates! They get 1 person to decide (Judge) because they can’t get too many pols to change the law! Easier to find one Judge that’s a Lefty than find many pols to vote their way.

In the United States laws cannot be passed solely based on any one group’s religious beliefs. There must be a “rational basis” for a law that is based in facts that are agreed upon. E.g. in the case of abortion, pain and suffering of the fetus, medical need to regulate clinics, etc.
In other words, abortion laws cannot be based upon what this or that faith’s opinion is of what the Bible allows or says, or when it is that God imbues a fetus with a soul, or when (or not) abortion is a justifiable homicide because of rape, mother’s health, fetal deformity, IVF embryo culling, whatever.
I lobbied this issue (among others) for many years, and anti-abortion absolutists helped kill a lot of bills that would have saved many. Just as bad as abortion proponents. Very frustrating.
Here are some faiths that are okay with exceptions to abortion prohibition or else have liberal or no stances: Episcopal Church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Presbyterian Church, Lutheran Women’s Caucus, United Church of Christ, Southern Baptist Convention, Methodist Churches, Quakers, United Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Community of Christ, Reform Judaism, Conservative Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Sikhism, Hinduism…

“Facts that are agreed upon”. Interesting concept to consider.
The pro-life (anti-abortion, if you must) stance has rational argument:
1. A typical, healthy pregnancy, if left undisturbed, will result in a live human.
2. Abortion deliberately stops this from happening.
3. The intentional snuffing out of human life is usually called murder.
We can discuss further, but simply because numerous religions sign up to embrace abortion does not mean there is no rational thought involved in pro-life thinking.

I don’t know what a “typical, healthy pregnancy” is, but if you’re referring to the baby, google: gastrochisis, sirenomelia, craniothoracopagus, acephalus acardius, acardius generally, anencephaly, rachischisis, iniencephaly, rasopharyngeal teratoma… and actually look at the pictures.
#3 is not a rational statement. It’s circular. “Murder” is an ILLEGAL homicide. A LEGAL homicide ipso facto is not “murder”. There are numerous forms of legal homicide: in defense of self and others, war killing, death in connection with organ donation, capital punishment, suicide, and (in some jurisdictions) euthanasia.

It is kind of interesting to hear Democrats define what Make America Great Again means. Watching them like a hawk for when these new MAGA folk begin their re-definition of MAGA. That will be quite interesting to see if it happens. Hope to be wrong, but so far the Democrats do have a natural affinity for re-defining things, such as their definition of democracy.
