Thank you to all readers and members of the Conservative Treehouse fellowship for your continued support. Without your help this little corner of the research and discussion internet just could not exist. I will always work earnestly to be deserving of that support and fellowship.
We are fortunate, blessed and protected by a loving God who has confidence in our stewardship.
As new visitors attest every day, the fellowship in this commenting community is unique, insightful, articulate, intelligent and funny. I love you guys.
As many of you are aware, in April we lost our primary Ad revenue because we refused to enforce Google moderation rules in our comment system.
The ridiculous demand for content control within our proprietary commenting system was actually the culmination of years of effort by Google and tech allies who were looking for ways to demonetize our platform and control information from this site.
As a direct and specific result without your direct support now, CTH cannot exist.
Retaining our ability to research, share and most importantly, discuss ongoing events, has been my #1 priority. Thank you again for your insight, wisdom, humor, friendship and support.
There are currently two methods to support CTH 2.0, our ongoing mission and discussion. However, depending on your browser settings (and ad blocker software) the second option may not be visible. There is a screengrab below showing what I am talking about.
The alternative financial support appears directly below the PayPal link in a yellow box as highlighted. Some have said browser settings can block visibility, and I have also heard it doesn’t show up on some mobile devices. I am not sure what the technical issue might be other than ISP filters (now becoming more problematic) and/or adblocking software.
Due to my personal requirements for Treehouse user privacy, and my firm stance on not retaining user data lists, the alternative system does not provide a subscriber option. If you use the alternative support function, each time you would want to support CTH, you have to click it and reenter your information. No data is saved.
Financial support through PayPal remains the most efficient and stable way to support CTH. I know they have received a lot of criticism, much of it well placed; however, my own experience with PayPal has been solid. When CTH was deplatformed and under attack from Big Tech (Eye of Sauron) to their credit PayPal stood firm and supported CTH in continuing their service.
While my experience with PayPal seems to run counter to the outcome described by others, the unexpected supportive position from PayPal made a strong impression on me. Again, perhaps unique, not sure why, but my experience with them has been very good. If that ever changed, I would immediately let you know. The data security and convenience of their system is also solid and useful.
Regardless, there are two options: (1) PayPal and (2) Proprietary. Due to legal caution and the data privacy construct, the Proprietary alternative has a 30-day access lag built in. Meaning, if you use that option, in approximately 30 days the funds become accessible, whereas support through the preferred PayPal option is immediate.
Thanks to everyone who helps offset all site hosting costs, our voice and information remains in the fight. We are committed to staying strong, fiercely protective of user data privacy, and anti-fragile so that we can withstand big tech (Google) targeting.
~ Support CTH Here ~
Don’t forget to pray, smile and live your best life!
My deepest appreciation to all,
Sundance

You are the first thing I click on every morning. Although I post rarely I do value what you have to say. A couple of times a year I stop getting notifications and not one minute past the time i turn on my computer every day do I fail to notice whether I’ve got mail from the Treehouse or not. Even though I almost always have mail the routine is this, those few times I have no mail from you I check to make sure you posted, I give it a bit of time and if more posts appear without me receiving notifications I sign up to receive them again and lo and behold my notifications begin again. Thank you for all you do. In regards to Paypal no matter their shortcomings I’ve used PayPal over the years for its consumer protection aspect. It has literally gotten my money back from two or three shady businesses I have inadvertantly purchased from over the years. It bolsters my confidence and lowers anxiety when purchasing online so my donation through Paypal is an easy choice for me. God bless you Sundance for your selfless work.
Just sent what I could. God bless you.
I have spent far more…
On far lesser things.
DONE!!
Can buy a visa-ish gift card and use it to enhance anonymity
This is very important.
Don’t forget what happened to all the canadians who donated to the truckers fighting covid tyranny – they got de-banked.
I personally do not trust that PayPal won’t rat me out later, especially if Obama 3.0 comes to pass.
While PayPal has been supportive to date, that may not always be so in the future.
At some point CTH should do some hedging with, (gasp!) MEMBERSHIPS!
This aligns with the evolution occurring in media, and more broadly, information.
No. We like our privacy here.
Why does anyone need to be a ‘member’ to donate and / or review the ‘news’ that Sundance shares with the world freely?
One DOESN’T!!!
But it would be real nice for the IC LEO and DOJ to have access to declare CTH and its ‘members’ DVEs, wouldn’t it???? 👀
And there is no ‘evolution’ on this broadly with paid for information.
😒 🤔 😒 🤔
No one has to do anything. Imagine a community, your community, where everyone decides to do nothing. What happens to that community?
Yes, I do treat this site as a community and I am a paid member of it because I know if I don’t I risk losing it.
I speak for no one but myself and I do not give a damn about anyone on this site as to whether or not they contribute.
As for anyone who believes their “privacy” would be violated by becoming a member, while this site has gone to extremes to protect your “privacy” that effort is not free.
The least you could offer is a Thank You!
Well it looked like to can donate without Paypal, I just enter w/o taking the bottom option and not the top Paypal option. But when I entered, it said Paypal. So anyway. I don’t have Paypal and don’t understand how it paid anyway.
Thanks for all you do!
As a payment processor PayPal transmits funds, there is no need for a sender to have an account to do so.
That’s the way we take care of business too.
Thanks. Didn’t know this.
Oh okay. Thanks! I didn’t know that.
While I don’t like to set up auto payments, I will try to make my donations to CTH more consistent.
Same here. I just now set reminders in my phone to donate if I can on the first of every month, starting in October.
Ok, Sundance. I just set up a monthly recurring donation through my PayPal account. Godspeed in your work. We need this site now more than ever.
Everyone, please do the same!!!
Same here FW! Thank you Sundance for all you do! Hat tip also to Treepers who post such valuable information as well!
This is our Green Dragon Tavern where our modern day ‘Sam Adams’ and ‘John Hancock’ are inspired and informed. You never know whose elbows you might brush up against in here.
It appears that the Brave browser is blocking the alternative option. I just reported.
My Safari browser won’t scroll down far enough to reveal the Donate Now button… it lurks just out of access.
Are you using some kind of a phone? I too have issues in our phones with sites that present graphics the “wrong way” as you can’t reach to move the graphics around.
Use a tablet or a PC.
To be honest, I find Brave and Chrome to work quite well with Paypal. I’m pragmatic in such things.
With brave, when you turn off the ad blocking, the solicitation appears. You can disable ad blocking on a page by page basis.
I run ad blockers… but for CTH I have to turn them off. So I suffer that obnoxious pop up in the bottom of the screen.
Done.
incoming.
Thank you SD, Adrem, Menagerie, WeeWeed, and the rest of the crew at CTH.
I come here everyday for solid information and research and would hate to lose this.
Folks, please be generous.
Sundance thank you for the reminder. So much to read here.
My contribution is on its way.
Thank you for all your work and research but above all your spirit.
Thank you to the whole Last Refuge Team. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️
I have sent $ before and did it again. Thank God for you!
❤️
Set up monthly donation. This site is so important. I’m enormously grateful for Sundance and Menagerie and this whole team. Keep living your best life.
Sent $$ via PayPal
I have a Chrome addon called Ublock Origin. When it is enabled the yellow donation box and the ad overlay at the bottom of the page were hidden. I disabled Ublock Origin and I can see the yellow donation box.
Google IS the Eye of Sauron
A worthy donation! Thanks for all you do!
I prefer actually, require a mail option. I have contributed by mail in the past and would do so again. I will ask one more time for this option and hopefully CTH will honor my request, it would be worth it. I would greatly appreciate understanding any reason for me to overcome my lack of trust in tech and use PayPal, but numerous emails to CTH have gone un-answered.
There is nowhere to physically mail a donation.
Your requirements aren’t on the menu.
Sundance gave you your only two options.
Trying to demand (require) through an ultimatum for financial support.
😃 😀 😄 😁 🤣
And veiled attempt to get a physical address! 👀
Gee, I wonder what for?
Well a PO Box can be opened up a 1,000 miles from a physical home.
.
And proceeds sent to a PO Box can be remotely forward to many different pick-up spots.
.
If de-banking occurs ca$h might be nice to have.
No matter how cleverly it’s done, physical checks incur hazards that needn’t be risked.
postal money orders can be purchased for cash at the post office, and cashed at the post office
Still angling for an address.
He he he he he
Maybe you can convince Sundance. Good luck!
to all who state i am phishing for an address, you have no clue what you are talking about, assuming or otherwise inferring. Like other posters here, I am very protective of my electronic footprint. If a site cannot accommodate those who are principled, then so be it.
I contributed before using a physical form of payment sent to an address.
A simple request that would garner additional contributions on the margins, which CTH claims is necessary.
I am also a person of principle and will reduce or eliminate my use of the site, since I do not have a method to contribute.
Enjoy!
Exactly! While some might think mistakenly think ‘just get a PO box’ it’s not that simple. People would need a name to put on the checks or money orders. Then Sundance would need to open a bank account for the donations with all kinds of fun forms etc.
Sundance can just focus on what he is good with these current options. If some readers only want to donate on their TERMS well I’m sure the rest of us will up the ante to do without their CONDITIONS.
Clearly some folks haven’t opened a business account or handled funds for donations, it’s complicated. There is a reason they say ‘follow the money’.
I’ve done both.
There really are some of us who are doing everything we can to push back on the idea of a cashless society, and see it as a part of the overall effort to throw sand in the gears. Of course it is less convenient – that’s how they sell us on the technology – but I fail to see how it is less anonymous. It’s proverbial that criminals deal only in cash so they can hide transactions better. I know of other conservative causes who have found cash is the best way to handle things right now.
And of course checks are not cash, but I would also be happy to send cash through the mail because I am smarter than the people who print mail-in ballot envelopes. I don’t blatantly identify the contents.
I do realize that every single payment method brings its own complications and I realize Sundance has just a few other things to focus on right now. So I hope those who are fine with electronic transactions will indeed up the ante on behalf of those of us who are fighting for the right to keep transactions uncontrollable.
And if at some point Sundance calls for anyone willing to make a dead drop of cash in the middle of the wilderness – well, it might happen.
Wow I like the way you think! Dead drop of Cash just took my breath away.
Mornin’ A few treepers suggested getting a prepaid credit card. Buy it with cash at, e.g., a grocery store. I completely forgot about that option and just added the CC to my shopping list for this weekend:)
Perhaps you didn’t include your username? Adrem always responds to reasonable requests.
If admin published a box number it would be like doxxing, there are are lots of malicious watchers.
Remember for every comment there are thousands who watch and read CTH.
I am old too but have been using PayPal long before they were well known. I used to be able to call them and ask questions like they were a local business. They’ve never been shady with me and I even keep a balance with them.
Come on in, the water is fine.
Yes. Paypal works fine.
The Friends and Family option works quite well too…. there are no fees. I set up a checking account just for Paypal years ago. I keep just enough money to make it useful but not enough that someone could hack and take me to the bank. There is a tightly controlled savings account and even over draft attached to the checking account so filling it up is easy.
Besides, it gives me a chance to get out of the house. I like to drive the two miles down the street and physically say hello to the tellers and move some money around and make deposits.
It’s nice to see people in these work at home post Wuhan Flu days.
Done. Thank you, sir.
Boom Done! Thank you for all you do.
Just hit that PayPal button for what I could afford today. Love you, MAGA Brother. You are a blessing to all.
Same. I feel like a lurker just now contributing.
This election I am supporting content providers – about 5 is all I can do. But you are at the top of the list. I may not always agree but I always appreciate your work. I, too, have had a positive experience with PP and have been using it for business for a decade. That is not to say others haven’t had issues. Like you, I just take the good as it exists.
There are many ways to fight.
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT
eBay owned PP from 2002-2015. It created a conflict of interest for them and eventually they divorced. I’ve not had a problem since.
I set up a recurring monthly donation some time ago and increased it in April. It would be helpful to see some kind of monthly fundraising goal, even if it’s just a percentage goal capped at 100.
Keep up the good work. Glad to be a long time reader and a new contributor. Benjamin on the way.
Thank you for discussing the ‘proprietary’ method, which is invisible to me. I will see if I can get it to work at some other computer, say at my town’s library.
credit card worked fine for me
My go to source, thank you and may Nov be ours.
Just donated $10. My first but not last. Go get ‘em Sundance and God speed!
I would make more regular donations, but I am quite strapped financially. Thankfully, I can spare some.
I am just scraping by in Maine and replacing my broke-down car is looking to run me more than $7,000-$8,000. Money that I did not have. Then there is the cost of living. *sigh*.
Aggravating does not begin to describe my experiences with this amazing economy.
God Bless SD & Super Staff. Dun did donate…..
Done, Sundance…and thank you and prayers for all you do…
I will try Sundance but the robbers of freedom takes most of my money.
Hadn’t realized The Treehouse had lost advertising revenue due to Google actions. This is my second post in 7 years of reading CTH, but I read scan the site multiple times EVERY DAY. Will donate more consistently now knowing Google is trying to shut you down. I refuse to use PayPal because of their policies, but will take the extra 20 seconds to donate individually each time!
Cheers!
just sent some through paypal, will donate as I can, maybe not much or too often, but will put my money where my mouth is
I view my contributions as an investment yielding abundant returns.
I’m thankful for the research, insights and challenging conversations within.
I continue to keep Sundance, staff and Treepers in prayer. God bless you all!
I’m certainly not arguing the point because I am totally ignorant of how advertising on blogs with Google etc work but the question is who then is placing ads and recieving revenue from the ads i see when I open your email and links?
My first expenditure automatically every month.
you are a scholar and a gentleman, sir, I tip my hat, love your commentary
😎
Quelle belle idée, mon bon ami. Why am I not surprised?
Car tu es sage et genti.
A respectful comment to others who are on a fixed income like me, where I’m wearing shoes until they literally fall apart on my feet:) (Kind of embarrassing if you’re in a grocery store and all of a sudden you realize you left your shoe sole two aisles back in the fruit section…) There’s a $5 button, and an “Other” button. I felt shame going for that five buck button. And then I thought, hell, what if there are a hundred others like me, and what if we all clicked on $5?? Or put in three bucks under “Other?” A hundred of us struggling would still help SD stay in the not-struggling lane. If nothing else, our small contributions would defray the cost of the bank charges on credit card donations. Just my .02. God bless whether you can or not.
P.S. I did retrieve the shoe sole. Gorilla glue is pretty handy stuff.
You could put the gorilla glue right onto your foot sole and skip the need for shoes altogether.
Honestly, that wouldn’t work! I’ve got a weird medical condition where the skin on my feet, most especially the soles, is extremely thick. I can’t feel my feet, hence didn’t know I had lost part of my shoe. And yes, I know that was sarc, but decided not to let it go.
I’ve had a benefactor pay for my shoes more than once… it’s very humbling.
Flex Seal and a patch works wonders on holes in shoes 🙂
I like the way you sketched out the mathematics. Nicely done.
Sundance and Treehouse Team,
In reading through the comments I noticed quite a few people asking to be able to mail in a cash donation with even more replies to the requests saying “Go buy a prepaid Visa gift card”, or something to that affect.
I have a suggestion: just add option 3 to the donation page that says:
“If you are uncomfortable using Paypal or your own credit card you may purchase a pre-paid Visa gift card at your local grocery store and use that instead of a personal credit card.”
It seems like it really doesn’t need to be said but, based on the number of requests for a mailing address in the comments, I guess maybe it does.
I’m not dissing any Treepers for not thinking about a pre-paid card. I just think for those requesting the mailing address and getting multiple responses to buy a pre-paid card is one of those slap your forehead moments when they say to themselves, “Why didn’t I think of that.”
Maybe a reminder on the donation page is all that’s needed.
Thank you Sundance. And thank you for the reminder. I should be giving monthly, but I don’t want to commit on Paypal, just in case there’s a month I don’t have the money to spare. So, I’ve now put the reminder to donate into my phone. If I have it to give, I will. Thank you again and God bless.
My gratitude for discovering with your tutelage what’s occurring from the rot of Obama/Holder has energized me to seek camaraderie and wisdom.
Thank you for providing both.
As soon as I am able, I will contribute. Like many of us in this country we are suffering “Bidenomics” and can barely make our bills.
As soon as I can it would be my great honor to help fund this awesome website.
Been here since we lost Andrew Breitbart. So I’m not a novice been here many years.
Promise will send support as soon as possible.
We must keep CTH up and running.
Sundance is the closest person we have to Andrew Breitbart! His insights and connections are invaluable!
MAGA 24
💁🏻♀️
I use the PayPal option.
Have used the service for more than 20 years when Thiel and Musk first created it.
Yes, Thiel and Musk. Where have you heard those names before. The money Musk made when he sold PayPal to E-Bay was the startup money he invested in Tesla and Space-X. The money from those then helped him buy Twitter …which he soon renamed X.com.
X.com was the original name of the on-line bank created by Musk and others in ’99 that he merged with Thiel to create PayPal. Circles within circles.
I admire the hubris of those here who automatically hate on others asking for alternative payment methods.
Why? Pretending that anyone else is automatically a troll for simply asking is just hubris.
Being solely dependent on a single payment service is dangerous in the current environment. If they can shutter the original CTH and attack Telegram so easily, they can backdoor PayPal as well. Suggesting alternatives to Sundance is not treason. He’s neither infallible nor all-knowing …and I highly doubt he has the resources to examine every alternative as thoroughly as might otherwise be warranted. He’s not going to open CTH to external attacks without doing his due diligence.
But simply suggesting alternatives to PayPal is not attacking him or CTH. In other words, get a life, eh.
Maybe Sundance has explored all the other options and done his due diligence.
And it’s not one option. It’s two, one just takes longer for him to process.
I would bet he has explored his options as he’s been running this site and business for years and has had plenty of time and resources to examine the risks involved. And he’s sure not stupid nor ignorant.
Speaking of hubris.
Sigh …you are soooooooooo easy …and sooooooooo defensive. Now why is that?
Maybe Sundance has thoroughly reviewed every possible payment method …and maybe he hasn’t.
I don’t know that and neither do you.
What makes someone asking a question or suggesting another solution a troll in your limited imagination? Much less some of your responses revealing significant technical ignorance.
But it never stops you from pretending to know what you can’t …or calling other commenters ‘trolls’ based on your own hubris.
I take Sundance’s post for what it appears to be …a sincere thank you for the monetary support as well as encouragement to use the payment system his site is best set to manage easily and securely. I’ve never known him to discourage commenters from making relevant comments, much less suggesting ways to improve his contribution response ratio …and never have I noted any CTH staff calling out such as “trolls.”
Sigh 😕 😞 😌
I never used the term troll!!! And rarely ever have.
So, another lie.
You did and then tried to project it on me.
You’re soooooooo easy and get defensive when challenged. 👀
Sigh 😕 😞 😌
My religion has NOTHING to do with my Paypal.
Honestly, awesome about your religious beliefs, enjoy it, but please don’t proselytize… We all have our reasons why we share the same goals and values…. and we keep religion and politics separate, as they should be.
you must be new here…
Hmm…. are you serious?
This is a very long line of discussion in CTH… the people who keep posting their religion and those of us who keep posting the separation of Church and State.
It’s been going on for years…. many years…. I’ve been on CTH for quite a few years….
IMHO, it’s sad. What we have here is Moral Conservatives and Plain Conservatives/Libertarians.
You know, if not for the latter group, where we fight to support people’s rights to have their own beliefs ( Satanism and human sacrifice not included ) the Moral Majority would not be able to be so free to proselytize.
But, privately, as a raised Catholic… I use professional courtesy towards the Protestants.
😀
Professional courtesy my ass.
Virtue signaling and bullcrap are fair game around here to be called out on.
You opened the door by revealing your ignorance of the difference between proselytizing and a well worded presentation of one’s reasoning and principles, apparently in this case, because that presentation is supported by Scripture.
Such hubris.
In the first place, I think if your allegation were true, you’d have scrolled on by instead of choosing to make such a condescending, broadbrush scold of a comment to The Lord’s Freeman.
In the second place, if your opening allegation were true there wouldn’t be the second, even longer post from you, expounding judgement and self-pronounced denominations wrt the CTH faith community.
In other words, it clearly appears the only proselytizing being done was being done by you.
I think TLF’s comment was thread-relevant and affirmative.
I think yours was disrespectful.
Dudes, I would ask that you all stop with the self righteous posts and think.
The efforts you are all wasting on this could be put to good use by sending 100 bucks to Sundance.
Whatever, you guys have absolutely no sense of humor….
Thanks for stepping into the breech and doing what we cannot.
The CTH is our Green Dragon and sometimes I suspect Sundance is our modern-day Paul Revere who bravely alerts us to the enemies movements. It’s no wonder THEY hate him so and he should be supported as much as we can.
Laugh all you want but what I truly treasure about his Indepth alerts is the footnotes and sources. I can dig in knowing it is not just a theory or an idea, the sources are listed.
Everybody has a nose and an opinion which is why if I don’t see sources listed on some sites I may not even bother to read. This stuff is real and not just a theory and it’s worth a donation to the cause of truth.
I can only give one thumbs up, so I will just turn up the volume a little…

Pure gold.
Done!
