I do not know much about Mark Halprin other than what I have discerned from watching him sporadically discuss politics for years. However, I have noticed in the last few years he is evolving toward a more sensible, pragmatic and non-pretending type of political analysis.
In this video below, Halprin speaks to something that everyone on the left is avoiding, the known problems with Kamala Harris as a candidate.
Brian Fallon is managing and hiding Kamala Harris, because Fallon and the rest of her handlers know there is very solid reasoning for why Kamala Harris was never considered a viable alternative to Biden before. A few short weeks ago, the professional left were riddled with anxiety over Joe Biden’s mental and cognitive status, while simultaneously those same people did not want Harris as a candidate because they knew she had no skills.
You don’t have to argue with them, just ask any Democrat/Leftists to name the greatest accomplishment of Kamala Harris and you will see them melt in front of you. Nothing about that has changed, and that’s why the DNC/Brian Fallon must hide Harris in order to maintain her ¹polling position. If they let Kamala campaign and talk to the media, she will tank just like Ron DeSantis did (for the same reason).
Listen to Halprin first. He’s right about this, and beyond his accuracy, what he says “might happen” – I would say is a virtual certainty.

¹Polling Position – I cannot emphasize this enough. The DNC (Obama/Clyburn) goal with Kamala Harris is polling position. They need her to have the biggest appearance of support possible. It is polling they need – REMEMBER THAT!

Two things are true. It is true that the Democrats’ position in national and state-level presidential polling has improved since Vice President Kamala Harris became the party’s nominee. The reason for the switch out of Joe, was the debate destroyed any illusion that Joe could PLAUSIBLY, CREDIBLY win.
Before the debate, despite a lot of our pointing out his dementia, they were able to maintain the illusion that Joe could PLAUSIBLY be reelected, and after the debate, thevillusion of plausibility was gone, just as surely as if he had dropped trou, and crapped right there on the debate stage.
Either the debate between KH and PDJT, and/or if she is forced to actually get out and campaign, has the potential for a similar melting of that illusion of credibility, like a snowflake in death valley.
We WATCHED it happen, with DeSantis and Haley recall all of us saying their campaigns were beating a dead horse.
I think we have seen a whole series of plans go awry; the indictments/lawfare were SUPPOSED to erode PDJT’s support and campaign finances, coinciding with the advancing of “Americas Gov. of the Free State of Florida” and if successful, I believe they WOULD have stuck with Joe, both to point to his age as reason not to go with ‘Trump’ and later as the cautionary tale, to drive recluctant, hardcore MAGAS to vote for RDS, the “cautionary tale” tactic, just like they used with RDS’s Dem opponent, as well as Mitch and Lindseys, where they ran hard core leftists in a “Red” State, rather than trying to paint the Dem candidate as “moderate” like a Manchin, because the Dems, being Uniparty, WANTED Mitch, Lindsey and most of all RDS to win.
Only once they were convinced the Lawfare/RDS ploy wasn’t going to work, and any machinations at the R Convention, or attempts to keep him off the ballot, or Butler (another failed plan!) and the debate where Joe lost plausability, did they seriously move to out him, and that did not go as planned, either.
And, having SEEN that debate dissolve Kamalas plausability, they and she have to be TERRIFIED of the debate.
So many narratives going by the wayside; many have expressed doubt that any Presidential debate “made a difference”,…well that narratives gone.
Until 2022, it was axiomatic that no candidate could win, if they refused to debate; gone.
The Convention in Chicago was the last chance they had, to credibly, plausably replace Kamala, now they are stuck with her.
IF, as we approach Nov. she has conclusively lost credibility, plausability, will they STILL go all in on the Steal?
We can certainly see them manuevering another “Insurance Plan” for ‘in the unlikely event’; Is there a point when they decide the downsides of pushing KH thru with a totally implausible Steal, are worse for them than backing off so PDJT wins, and then going with the Insurance plan?

Also, is it feasible they can take the House back? Because we all know how bad it went for Trump after the mid-term, even AFTER Hurricane Crossfire, when Pelosi turned the House into her own personal law firm to get Trump. Maybe after Labor Day, we hear more on House & Senate races.
The “Party” can only drag so many people across, and it will be the top tier only. I would think a lot of them are now burning hard drives and papers and trying to save their own skin.

There is now the capability through the use of AI to generate sentences and conversations that sound exactly like someone if you have enough words recorded of them speaking.
The capability has been used to scam people out of money by mimicking family members calling on the phone, saying they are in dire straights (in jail, etc) and need their loved ones to transfer money or “give it to my friend who will drop by.” One should always have secret phrases, queries, and responses worked out with loved ones to preclude scams and to be able to positively identify each other.

I think this confirms that the IOWA poll that is being held back and not published yet is true. In that it shows a +19 Trump lead, which if correct means (and it is done by a pollster known as the gold standard for IOWA). They (Democrats) are going to make up and put through the ‘tabulators’ as many ballots as they need to steal this election, just like in 2020 unless they are stopped in some significant way. There is no such entity as the “Independent Party” on a national level. Independent voters do not declare a party affiliation when they register to vote, that is a negative in states that have closed primary elections. It is also assumed that all or a sizeable majority of Independent voters are middle-of-the-roaders/moderates, that is not true. Example: myself. I became a voter in 1983 and registered as a Republican. In late 1999, I opened my eyes to what was happening to the GOP and left them. Since that time, the party affiliation field on my PA county voter registration card says “NA” = No Affiliation. My politcal views have been planted on the right all of that time.
So how does one combat biased polling?
