I think these are big take aways.
I agree that his statements are a softer take and may bring more supporters into the Trump tent.
I think a big area where RFK, Jr. and Elon can bridge the divide is “global warming”. They both believe in it. Elon is actually doing stuff towards his belief, unlike Al Gore who skims off the top. In the X Spaces conversation with PDJT, Elon stated “global warming” isn’t an emergency and he has long believed that we need cheap oil during the “transition”.
If you eliminate “global warming” as a presser point between the so-called left and right, how many rabid leftist does that leave? Abortion, Immigration and Gun control – I know quite a few dem voters who have large arsenals.
I think it’s a big dent. A lot of people don’t support unfettered illegal immigration and are probably ok with the current abortion status: your state can do what it wants.
We shall see, only time will tell.

Well, it looks like RFK Jr. has decided to endorse Trump regardless of whether Trump publicly denounces Operation Warp Speed. Either that, or Trump plans to do so in the near future.
That said, I do believe Trump denouncing Operation Warp Speed would bring a net benefit to him. Not only would it win him back the DeSantis/RFK supporters who walked away from him over this issue, but it would also win him over undecided voters who would see his admission that he made a mistake to be a breath of fresh air.
I mean, who expects Kamala to be that humble? She wouldn’t dare say mistakes were made under Biden. Instead, she would merely say that things need to be fixed while betting (correctly) that the Democrat base is stupid enough to conclude that the problems aren’t Biden’s fault.
Perhaps the best way for a candidate to prove that he or she is NOT a politician at heart is to admit that they aren’t infallible and that despite their past mistakes they will work to do better. If Trump does that, his star will shine brighter than ever before.

His being on the right side helps us to make sure this never happens again.

I don’t disagree with you or G-Pol….but I am concerned with what few ideas came out of Chicago…the high taxes…etc…so many social issues created that distract from other aspects…such as the economy. He has not ended his campaign, he has suspended it but withdrew his name from the ballot on ten swing state campaigns which would have caused him only to be a spoiler. This way if the electoral count is 269 to 269 he would still be eligible to be elected by the HOR.
I know he’s duncedly far left on social issues, even some constitutional issues (2nd Amendment for example) but I do believe he sees the danger that the US is sitting on the precipice of full scale Marxism. His priorities appear to be free speech, free elections, the open border, the non-stop wars, the ever-worsening health crises, and censorship. (I listened to the whole thing.)

If he is used carefully and appropriately I could see that he could be beneficial to the second Trump administration.
If he were to ever become president, he would nominate lefties for the supreme court and the lower federal courts. The Supreme Court has been our last bulwark in the federal system against a total commie takeover.

Very few of his “supposed views” align with President Trump.
His staff were “borrowed” DNC operatives.

Talk about irony: The FBI, which was willing to use deadly force over Donald Trump allegedly mishandling classified documents, has been systematically mishandling similar information for years, according to bombshell findings released Thursday by Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
According to the DOJ-IG, at least 395 people have access to the FBI’s unsecured facility as of May, including 28 task force officers and 63 contractors from at least 17 companies.
“There is no physical barrier preventing FBI and non-FBI personnel and contractors from other Facility operations from accessing PTI’s work area and the pallets of unsanitized assets in the Facility shelving space,” he said.
And even though there is apparently a door to the Media Destruction Team’s work area, the FBI doesn’t close it to prevent non-Asset Management Unit personnel from accessing the area, the IG found.
If all those security failures weren’t enough, Horowitz also said one of the key surveillance cameras at the facility wasn’t working when his team visited. The FBI apparently told Horowitz last December that it was installing a new camera there, but it still wasn’t in place when the DOJ-IG made a follow-up visit in February.
“We believe that the combination of the FBI’s lack of accountability of the electronic storage media, lack of internal physical access control, and lack of sufficient video surveillance compounds the risk of media, potentially with sensitive and classified information, being lost or stolen without detection,” Horowitz concluded.
