Supreme Court Allows Arizona To Require Proof Of Citizenship For State Votes, But Not For Congressional Or Presidential

Don’t all offices (state and federal) appear on one ballot in a general election? If so, this ruling should prohibit illegals from receiving a ballot in November despite the nuanced decision. I doubt they can show up and ask for a federal ballot only.
The order means Arizona election officials must reject state registration forms if voters don’t provide documentation of citizenship. In other words, Arizonans newly registering to vote for the coming election will have to provide copies of one of several documents, including a birth certificate or a passport, in order to prove their citizenship.
However, the justices kept on hold provisions of the law that could have disqualified voters who register separate federal forms from casting ballots in a presidential contest in person or by mail. In other words, Arizona voters can still register using a federal form, without proof of citizenship, and vote in the presidential contest.
That Federal Only form is printable from the internet on the SOS website – the onus of proof if citizenship falls on the County Recorder— don’t expect Maricopa to investigate at all.
And this only applies to new registrations, does nothing to address those already registered who never supplied any proof of citisenship.

The 15th amendment’s main intention…protect the black vote….but protects all votes no matter their race ….States no votes shall be denied or ABRIDGED. This one word is hard to research and seldom discussed but dictionary meaning (shortened). When applied to votes and the 15th AD. implies… shall not cause a vote to have a shortened (lesser) value. In NC there is just one ballot. I am sure it is the same elsewhere. There is no distinction between Federal vs. state when voter arrives to check-in process at the precinct. I have been a precinct-level election official for a few years.

You can purchase solar lights, small ones, for your garden or pathway and they are inexpensive and work really well. I mean $10.00 at Home Depot. They look nice.
There is also a little solar pump you can buy for a birdbath and make a small fountain in a bowl. It is nice not to have to worry about outlets and wires outside.
I put solar lights inside my shed with a switch to control them. The little panel with the battery is mounted outside and stays fully charged until needed.
I’ve got those. They make the yard quite beautiful at night – it is DARK in the country at nights!!!!
I have no problems at all with ON SITE solar/wind. That’s your responsibility.
Here, electricity bills will go up over 5% a year for the next five years due to CO2 reduction mandates. Will switch to 67% solar and wind meaning when it’s dead cold with snow and no wind, power will be imported via the grid from states which don’t virtue signal.
There is a massive difference between an individual installing solar panels and a country depending on who knows how many solar “farms” to produce the electricity we need to run our country. The other thing about solar “farms” is they destroy the soil under the solar panels. Solar “farms” are a horrible thing and so are the vile Veg-O-Matic wind turbines.

Our area has an electric Corp – we are still connected. In the summer pretty much all our power comes from the panels. In the winter the battery still charges – even when its overcast and power is supplemented. We also have a generator.
Like I said. I simply do not want to be fully reliant on the the “system”. In other words what happens when we can’t get propane, or diesel, or gas or they take out the grid? We are living amongst truly evil people. I put nothing pass them. Therefore, I prepare.
I can speak to that since I live in the forests of Oregon. Expect with clouds or tree shade to see zero output. Anything better than that is bonus. Today it’s cloudy with thunderstorms expected. Panel output zippo. On a good day I see maybe five hours of useable sun. Hence, I over-panel and charge series string at high PV voltage, generally between 200 and 400 volts.
The vagaries of sun are why we have 48VDC rack mount battery banks. If you’ve ever been to a server farm it’s what they use to run their UPS system to keep the farm going in power outages. They’re designed to fit standard rack systems.
I lived and worked rural for about 35 years and had a 500 gallon propane tank on the property. The generators, tractors and trucks ran on diesel. The problem with those fuels is one depends on an infrastructure for supply.
Once installed correctly, a solar power system can be maintained inexpensively and without dependence on any other entity, presuming one has aptitude. That has advantages over fossil fuel options, particularly in SHTF/survival situations.
Solar is also quiet. When I’d fire up the diesel genset in a blackout, every human within hearing distance knew I had a genset if the lights didn’t give it away. That can make one a target. Solar is stealthy.
Even on cloudy days our battery produces enough power to run our home. You are right, the SHTF situations were our main concerns.
Have a whole home natural gas generator …(Hurricane preparedness). But Biden and kamala will make it unaffordable.
Yep, same here, and we have dirt cheap and reliable hydro grid power. I’ve done it for quiet power in SHTF/kinetic situations. Else, I’d pay the fifty bucks or so a month for grid power without complaint for my modest abode.
Rooftop PV solar makes sense on your house. You use it where it is generated and it doesn’t have to be transmitted/distributed on the grid. This has effectively expanded the capacity of our electrical power grid. In a remote area PV solar makes even more sense.
Large scale wind turbine farms are a waste of money. The cost per kwH, compared to other electrical power resources, is ridiculously high. So much so that it wouldn’t exist without all of the government subsidies.

It depends on where they are located. Neither should be placed on good farmland. But there are places in TX, AZ, NM, CA that are desolate, desert land where these could be placed and produce cheap energy. Like most things, these should be used only where it makes sense for them to be used. However, common sense seems to be in very short supply in leaders these days.

I tested that, kinda. I was using the cheap Harbor Freight panels to test location for future array placement and had one just propped up on the pump house roof by the creek since that was a sheltered sunny area.
A big windstorm came through one night and the next morning I found the panel upside down laying on the ground next to the building, a fall of about 9′ or so. I figured it was toast but was surprised to turn it over and see the glass wasn’t broken, nor was my test cable so I plugged it back in and surprise, it charged as normal. It was a heavy cheap 100W panel that weighed over 20lbs.
That wasn’t a hail test but we have had some hailstorms since with pea sized hail which is normal here and no issues. IDK about the big stuff like they see elsewhere, that’s nasty.
Or a hurricane that rips your roof off …LOL.
