Every time I gently send the warning signal about Donald Trump Jr, I get blasted with hate mail that essentially says Trump Jr must not be criticized because he is the heir apparent to the MAGA empire – or something similar. The anger generally comes from the grifting enterprises who make money from Donald Trump’s political gravity.
To those voices, let me be as clear as I can be. If you want me to hide the reality of how insanely naive Donald Trump Jr is about politics, then write him letters telling him to shut up, and don’t waste your typeset energy on me. As long as Donald Trump Jr continues doing and saying stupid stuff because he believes he is politically smart (insert Fredo comparison here), I am going to continue sending warning flares about his naiveté.
I have been gentle and considerate of the ego and familial relationships.
I have avoided direct criticism around his gullibility taking Natalia Vladimirovna Veselnitskaya into Trump Tower in 2016 as part of the Fusion GPS operation to frame the Trump-Russia narrative. I have avoided open criticism of his gullibility with Peter Thiel, Palantir Technologies (who, by the way, just had their CEO endorse Kamala Harris) and the JD Vance promotion.
I was kind and diplomatic in my attempts to point out that Donald “Fredo” Trump Jr, might just not possess the correct assembly of brain matter needed to see through counterintelligence operations. After all, there is a reason why Eric was picked to run the Trump organization. However, if those voices are going to paint me into a corner with stuff like this:…
… Then you are going to discover, I have no more tongue to bite.
Putting RFK Jr in any position inside the IC network is akin to giving Mary McCord and Andrew Weissman control of President Donald Trump’s teleprompter. The Intelligence Community would relish, absolutely relish the opportunity to work with RFK Jr as the CIA director.
Amaryllis Fox is a former CIA undercover officer who transitioned into the political realm as the campaign manager for Robert F. Kennedy Jr after she met his son, Robert F Kennedy III at the ‘Burning Man’ event. Do you remember the guy who leaked the recording of Donald Trump and RFK Jr speaking just before the RNC Convention? Yeah, that was RFK III who leaked it (Amaryllis’s husband).
As the story is being told, Donald “Fredo” Trump Jr, is now negotiating the terms and conditions for the RFK JR endorsement of his father, possibly later this week. If Fredo’s commentary about putting RFK Jr in charge of the CIA is accurate, and given the fact Fredo is part of the official transition team, and given the fact that Fredo was a big impetus for the JD Vance selection, and given the fact that everyone in the close orbit of Donald Trump keeps saying that Fredo wants to make federal politics his life and career after Dad; well, you can see where this is going.
I support Donald Trump because there is no alternative – no other viable option. It’s the same reason I supported him in 2015 and every moment from then through now. I have never regretted my support of Donald Trump, ever, not for a moment.
However, that said, I do not support anything that undermines the likelihood of success.
I do not care if Alex Jones or anyone else is the advocate in support of this stupid idea.
There is no way that Robert F Kennedy Jr should have any significant role in the Trump administration outside of Health and Human Services Director or Food and Drug Commissioner…. and even that is a stretch considering that RFK JR might proclaim firearms as a national health crisis and institute regulations.

Good on you Sundance. In every family there is the naive dumbest one. I support you 100%.
The British Royal family ruthlessly kick theirs out eventually. Edward VIII, Andrew, Harry.
Good idea.
Chuck is on the throne. I do not consider him to be especially bright.
Again, Sundance is correct about RFK, Jr—-this unstable fellow should never be given any ROLE in a new DJT administration. Hence, Donald Trump, Jr needs to calm his over exuberance in trying to get his father rightfully in the Oval Office by getting off the RFK,Jr wandering broken wagon. And as for Don, Jr., he is smarter than most give him credit for, but I believe the speed at which the Nov 5 th election is coming at all of us with the dark cloud of the Democrat Party frauds who continue to lie and cheat, Don Jr has blurred his vision about RFK, Jr. I pray that Dr. Ben Carson can straighten him out.
RFK Jr as CIA director? Dang, did he learn nothing from the previous term?
Agree 💯
Totally understand. Please help me understand: who would you consider viable candidates for CIA Director.
Thank you.
Look at yesterday’s post re DoJ staffing.
I saw it. Excellent post. It was DOJ staffing, not CIA. I think I specifically asked for the CIA Director. Let me check. Yup, I did.
At the bottom of the article. Try reading.
The Treehouse might be a little too intelligent for you. You might be a better fit at a slower website.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2024/08/08/state-dept-and-cia-trump-staffing-2025/
That was the article from the 8th, not YESTERDAYS post. I already replied that I missed the post from the 8th, and agree with your pick of Hageman. But you didn’t let THAT comment through, did you? I’m not slow, I’m honest.
Not trying to pick a fight, but would appreciate you get your facts straight before you judge me.
It’s at the bottom of yesterday’s article, and every single article in the series. Obtuse much? Try again.
Like I said, CTH might just be a little out of your league.
Hmmm… snarky ego over truth, and a bunch of sycophants. You’re right, maybe this isn’t the site for me.
Exactly. lol to your passive aggressive nonsense, but CTH is a like-minded fellowship. It doesn’t work out for everyone.
Devin Nunes
I like him but I don’t think he’s ruthless enough for this position.
Harriet Hageman was Sundance’s pick and a good one. She is strong in her convictions and speaks with power and common sense. I don’t think she would fear the challenge or be easily fooled.
I’d like that too, problem is, try getting him through the Senate. Even if 52-54 R’s in the senate, they will find 3-5 Rhinos to torpedo him. Better suited for the #2 position where Senate approval is not required.
The CIA needs to be disbanded and all responsibilities formally with that organization given back to a ‘reformed’ military devoid of ALL wokeness…..
Couldn’t agree more. But let’s face it, the military leadership is part of the problem. What’s your plan there, then?
.
They can be fired.
.
And replaced by the same corrupt underlings?
It’s called “recalling” loyal generals and staff officers forced out by preceeding Administrations. They serve at the prerogative of the POTUS.
Trump addressed this today cryptically during his national security themed rally.
And it has been discussed on these pages in the past ad nauseum.
As SD said, obtuse.
Lighten up, Francis.
Forgive me but I would send all the spooks into the basement for a secret meeting, then cement the door shut. We can get them out of power, but how do we keep them out?
Then you will have all those trained spooks wandering around causing trouble.
A little hard to disown a son
DJT job is to do the hard things!
People do it all the time. And disown doesn’t have to mean disinherit. Make this kid ambassador to Panama or Mauritius. Just get him out of the way.
No need to disown a son in this case. PDJT simply needs stop taking the advice of family members as “gospel” especially considering none of them are politically savvy or in “the know” regarding DC politics.
There is a difference between saying “I love my son and wish him well in his endeavors, and will encourage and advise him when asked,” and having a blind spot that extends into caretaking a grown son.
Trump’s blind spots overlap and are of the same material. He has a blind spot when it comes to appointments, trusting no judgement except his own instead of vetting appointees. Trump has a personal loyalty blind spot, as evidenced by his criteria for making appointments, including family appointments to positions they should not hold simply because of their genetically galvanized loyalty to DJT. These two overlap and are part and parcel of Trump’s nepotism blind spot, which refuses to see the weakness, unsuitability, or ineptitude of his children when appointed to positions they should not hold, for reasons of incompetence and/or difficulty of dismissal once their shortcomings become evident.
As to RFK Jr., I wrote a comment on another board when news of his potentially folding his tent andoffering support for the Trump campaign was first “leaked,” saying that RFK Jr. is genetically and by temperament a cynical and self-serving political whore first, and an American only insofar as he would use his prestige and public persona to manipulate the system, citing traditional American values and tugging on the heartstring still connected to his family shootings to serve his own ends.
For some reason it was taken down, and supplanted by dialogue conjecturing where he would best fit in Trump’s cabinet.
At the very most, as such deals must be made in the political world, I’d give him an ambassadorship – to a non-critical ally whose wealth he could bilk in return for political favors here and there. Scotland comes to mind. He could reduce the tariffs on whisky for a perpetual kickback from both the distillers and the importers, and cite the great cooperation he had brought about to benefit the economy of both nations. Beats the hell out of blackmailing Burisma, don’t you think?
Evidently my gut mind axis is not to be trifled with.
JR Trump needs a hair follicle drug screen and inpatient rehab.
A crackpot anti-vaxer in the FDA???? That’s a joke, right?
He’s not a “crackpot anti-vaxer”. He has taken up a valid cause against over medicating and vaccinating very young children and I agree with him on those issues. Do you have any autism in your family? Seriously, his work in this area is outstanding. Let’s give him his due.
“ADD/ADHD” and “Autism” are two sides of the same vakks injury coin.( humbly my opinion)
Everyone in all branches of my family has been vaxed with all required and recommended vaxes going back 70 years and no autism or ADHD. Not statistically relevant, and just anecdotal, but must be something more going on than just the vaxes or over multi-vaxing simultaneously. I suspect genetics.
My anecdotal observations are that children are being pegged as “autistic” when they are not. That’s not to say that autism isn’t increasing among children. When you do a crappy job raising your children and you fail to show any interest in them, it is a last minute gift that takes you off the hook and now you are a “hero” because you have medical experts prescribing psychotropic drugs for your kids. That “proves” it wasn’t your fault.
What has changed in your 70 years? Baby Formula, processed food, additives, and chemicals in toiletries. No longer just natural fats and lye in soap/detergent. We are coated with, and consuming, poison.
Bingo!
good for you and your family. I come from a family born in the Ukraine and Russia. None of us were vaccinated! I don’t agree with vaccines but that’s me! There is a lot of ingredients in those vaccines and most of which I can’t even pronounce. Whenever I see that I stay clear. I grew up with all the childhood virus and became stronger imo! I just know that nowadays the amount of vaccines given to a baby is off the charts!! Personally I don’t think suppressing the immune system not to get something does not work! Every body is different with what it reacts to and what it does not react to. It’s an individual decision. I do think that there is way to much autism or adhd never had any of it when I grew up !
Just for the record we all need to be anti-vaxxers. Vaxxines are poisions and if more people wake up to that fact many health maladies would disappear if parents would never get their precious children another biological weapon they call vaxxines. How do you think the medical industrial complex makes so much money from medical care? They vaxxinate children, about 72 times now, up to 18 years old then treat the medical problems they created with the vaxxines with the pharmaceutical products of the very same companies who developed the vaxxines. Double dipping in the revenue department don’t you think.
Smallpox, chickenpox, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, cholera, tuberculosis ….
ANYONE against the so called Covid vaccines, is not a crack pot by any means. These individuals have “survived” the most well funded, heavy handed propaganda campaigns in the history of mankind.
RFKJr (got it right today BK) was a crackpot antivaxer long before covid and has no business on the FDA.
Let’s see, smallpox, chickenpox, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, cholera, tuberculosis ….
Take him fishing
Sundance’s knowledge of what’s really going on in DC swamp so impressive.
Don jr has always rubbed me the wrong way
I do wonder if Trump still has that weakness for high profile names. When I heard Jaimie Dimon for Treasury, flashbacks to his first horrible cabinet of backstabbers.
Jamie wants to sign the money.
That was to put Jamie Dimon out, front and center, to the public. The way he did with Fauchi and Birx. You would have never known who those people were and what they had done otherwise. DJT is craftier than people give him credit for.
Wishful thinking.
Ok so Don Jr. is naïve. Why is DJT listening to his naïve son?
The hard truth is that PDJT still has some insecurity issues. He trusts his offspring blindly simply because they are his offspring and love him. PDJT ruined an awesome relationship with WSteve Bannon, when Bannon called out the inexperience of Javanka.
I completely agree with the warning.
I do not believe Don Jr. has ill intent. I think he is dangerously naive.
He’s not savvy enough considering what he and the family have gone through.
Dangerous times call for an exceptionally diligent vetting and RFK, Jr. doesn’t pass the test.
He needs to be reminded that all that glitters is not gold and he was the one that brought Natalia Veselnitskaya (sp?) to Trump Tower.
Sundance: Why don’t you tell President Trump and his campaign what you think? So, you voted for Trump because he was the only one running? That tells me that you didn’t and still don’t like Trump. I think JD Vance was the right choice.
You haven’t always been right on everything. President Trump makes the decisions NOT Don Jr. I see why you don’t
want RFK, Jr. head of CIA. I don’t either. We will see what happens. You have more pull than all of us. Contact people
within the Trump campaign and voice your opinion. Now, what you need to address is the voter fraud in south Florida
areas. Our own RPOF passed out fake voter guides. The NON-MAGA Republicans wanted to make sure NOT ONE
MAGA candidate won in that area. Go to the: http://www.miamiindependent.com and read about it. Our own Republicans
called the police on Republican voters. This all happened, because of the Globalist Agenda in Florida in those
Counties called: the Globalists: The Chamber of Commerce: UN Agenda 21/2030 DESantis is in on it, too.
Please write an article about it. Thank YOU….
He took a bullet for you. everyone that supports him knows that and likes him.
This is a campaign on countering and lessening the protest to take Democracy versus voting for it. meaning its inclusive this time, not combative For A Reason. To counter the play that Benz (Bannon show) talks about that uses a small percentage of a population to overthrow and reshape its government.
I did not find the majority of your post exciting except for the last part about Gov. Bootsie and the GloboCorp. Agenda here in Florida.
This is not the website for you.
Quite simply, you are not smart enough for this research. Read your first three sentences to understand my point.
I agree with the first sentence of your post. I don’t know if Trump would take his advise, but Trump is the one who needs to be told these truths.
And do not forget Jr’s girlfriend who was once married to newscum.
100%
I would personally love if Trump kept all of his kids away from his administration. The one I like most is Barron and he is too young.
I live in Montana and DJTJR seems heavily involved in the idiotic Sheehy endorsement. Native Montanans (I am not one) really dislike the wealthy Californians who move in and buy everything …driving up real estate prices. Enter Tim Sheehy. Meanwhile Tester is doing his “I’m a hog farmer that lost my fingers on the ranch!” schtick. I’m guessing he’ll win again in a state Trump will win by twenty points. This is a particularly stupid endorsement in a State that should be a slam dunk senate pick up ….
I am sick of carpetbaggers myself!
This is unfortunately another bit of a blind spot for President Trump. I’m sure he gets advice and prompting from many, but HIS judgement does demonstrate common tendencies that bite him from time to time.
We still need to vote for Sheehy.
I will … sigh. My bottomline assessment of Carbon County republicans (Red Lodge) is that things need to get much worse before the majority of them wake up. Despite everything … they are asleep.
There is one reason that I feel President Trump might bring JFK in as a low, distant choice is simply, if he is pulling people from MAGA, its the people who don’t like our president but do like his policies many which are similar to JFKs. Don Jr. is not a bad son but he’s no politician and it surprises me President Trump does/would listen to him as good advice. As for JD Vance, I am in full agreement with Sundance. I wanted a person who proved loyalty and honor to President Trump like Ben Carson. JD has been anything but.
Ezra Cohen comes to mind.
those who seek perfection are doomed to disappointment … stop looking for perfect outcomes …
This has always been the problem in the MAGA movement- letting the perfect get in the way of the good.
Echo of my thoughts since 2015!
So, RFK would not be a perfect choice but a good choice?!?!?
Huh? Are you saying RFK would not be a “perfect” choice but an acceptable choice?
I don’t care for either Jr. This is where I get frustrated w/Trump. I wish he could see what others see, but jeez, his days are jam packed and there are only so much time.
President Trump knows which-son-is-which. At the beginning of his Theo Von appearance this week, Trump spoke of Barron’s intelligence and athleticism, Eric’s love of the real estate business…and Don’s hunting skills. If Donald Trump thought Don Jr. had any place in future politics, he would have said so.
The Old Testament is filled with Father and Son differences where a King would follow the ways of God and Israel would be strong and prosperous. Then when the King died the oldest son would take over, and do the opposite, and Israel would fall into ruin and slavery.
You would think a son who followed a successful Father would do likewise, but Alas!
The moral of this story is that family does not mean much in this case!
Hollywood already wrote the script:
Just like in the movie “The Godfather” young Barron is destined to play the role of Michael Corleone and become the future head of the Trump familia.
Oh…. Paleeeze 😂
“I do not support anything that undermines the likelihood of success.”
At this time, President Trump is focused to win the election (GBI Strategies look-a-likes, voter registration and mail boxes are hurdles). Two more days and we will see and hear how negotiations will have played out.
Trump says he’d consider appointing RFK Jr. to role in administration | CNN Politics
its like saying, I’m not going to cause any drama by dangling the possibility yet still knowing RFK JR has no place, and no room to say he is considering me and then stopping at the last second and saying he couldnt because i’m charlottesville..
Like putting the wolf to administer the sheep.
Given that the CIA has and continues to target DJT, the one position he should appoint to an absolute loyalist is director of the CIA. The CIA director needs to doggedly eliminate all the political operatives in the CIA, ruining the lives of these traitors to the extent possible. Security clearances must be pulled, programs defunded, nonprofits not just defunded but ruined and made useless. There should be scorched earth at Langley. All of the unconstitutional nonsense needs to stop. RFK Jr is not that man.
the VP of RFK Jr married Sergey Brin the Google Communist.
Her company is https://biaecho.org/
if Rfk jr gets in, she gets coattailed and gets some tech benefit.
the giving away (or taking during Covid) of the world’s DNA was the worst thing for humanity ever. targeted death is simplistic now. as they name their companies targeted life extension.
offered a job is nothing … a job Kennedy can get CONFIRMED for is another … calm down, a job offer that is doomed in the confirmation process is a cheap price to pay to get him to drop out and endorse … yeah Don Jr. may be Fredo so what … until something actually happens you are worrying for nothing (mainly because worrying doesn’t CHANGE ANYTHING) … wait til something happens then worry … after all DJT is not going to push out Don Jr. …
everyone keeps acting like anyone DJT picks will get confirmed … which is a stretch …
Kennedy would get shot down by REPUBLICANS for anything important … and the Dems are no fans either …
or he is talking directly to him minus special counsel requesting comms and harrassing. via this method.
Agree…I think Trump is as smart as has boasted he is ..he doesn’t want any distractions at this point that may take away from the goal ..GET ELECTED !!..then watch his actions and make judgements…
🇺🇸💪😀👍
Donald Trump Jr is not the sharpest tool in the box, whether it’s regarding politics, business, real estate, women, etc. He believes he is a ‘celebrity’ solely because of who his father is. He brings nothing to the situation other than bad judgment. Fredo is a good reference, although frankly, I think that the original Fredo was actually more intelligent. Don Jr, in my opinion, is nothing short of cringeworthy.
Don Jr. may be alot of things … but disloyal is not one of them and DJT prizes loyalty …
excues me? He can be disloyal and not even KNOW it.
“the reality of how insanely naive Donald Trump Jr ”
Same. Same. Sundance. It feels like Don has confidence, like his father, but hasn’t had enough negative experiences of being torpedoed or backstabbed yet to develop that lovely outer shell of distrust we all have. Which seems impossible after what that family has been through. I know The Donald trusts his family. I get it. In this world, who can you trust?? I also love that The Donald promotes his family and treats them very, very well. But it “feels like” Jr is making decisions for The Donald that aren’t so good. Just sayin’. Vance???? And I’m nobody.
Personally, I’d like to see Kennedy going after big pharma with a vengeance. He’s doing a bang up job outside of the government. Where I’d rather he stay. COVID was a sham operation and it should NEVER happen again. Can he clean out the likes of Fauci?
I agree completely on this one Sundance!
I like Don Jr , he i do believe has good intentions but never thought he had what his dad has politically.. and really just didn’t see it as something he could learn, it’s an instinct he just not possess. Eric on the other hand has a ton of political savvy like his dad.
While a nut doesn’t fall far from the tree, they can and have on many occasions of their own volition rolled from the tree or been moved by other sources far from the tree. I’ve seen nothing of Jr. suggesting he has the moxy, political savvy as his dad.
PDJT unfortunately has blind faith in his offspring. Totally BLIND faith. Jr has done nothing to indicate he has great political insight and knowledge. He goes on “hunches” and dad just blindly goes along with him.
I wish and pray that somebody close to PDJT would tell him outright that to depend on his offspring WHO HAVE NO REAL POLITICAL EXPERIENCE is folly.
Only now reading. SD is so on-target. No family in the administration, no family advisors (yes, re the Trump business organization), and no family envoys, and never a Kennedy anywhere near the administration. (I must eat a bit of crow here because at the onset of the RFK, Jr. entry into the 2024 election cycle, I thought he was okay. He’s not, he’s poison.)
I agree totally. Send the family back to New York to run the real estate business; let Dad attempt to salvage our country.
I knew when Jr started defending Bud Light because he had lots of friends who were suffering that he was a man up for sale. Putting a Kennedy anywhere near an intelligence agency is stupidity of epic proportions. I hope is father recognizes that.
I was a rabid fan of UFC ever since I convinced Pops to rent the tapes at the independent video store (the only one that carried them, shelved near the over 18 dirty movie section behind saloon doors) in 1992.
I haven’t watched one second since Dana took the tranny monies.
I always wondered who it was that convinced Trump to bring John Bolton to the WH. I always figured it must have been one of the kids, because it was stupidity-squared and only one of his children could have worked the old-man into something that bleeping stupid.
Sounds like we might have our culprit.
Sigh, we finally got rid of Ivanka and Jared and now Fredo is trying to fill that role. When he left his family and showed up with Newsom’s ex it was pretty obvious he has some other ideas for his future.
Have not trusted Don. Jr. since he left his wife and the mother of his five (?) children, and then not too long later, hooked up with Kimberly G, who in my humble opinion is one of the physically ugliest women I have ever seen. I think Don. Jr is a loud mouth and “too big for his britches” as my generation would say. I do not bother myself to look at any videos or posts he makes.
I read that it was Vanessa who left him.
And was very supportive of his new relationship, even slapped down nasty press rumors.
Completely agree Sundance…thank you for putting this out front. I feel like Don Jr envisions himself as the same flamboyant type of puncher his dad is. He’s been bombastic and over the top at times, just like Dad. And while I question some of President Trump’s decisions regularly, especially around personnel, Jr just doesn’t have the right stuff to be making recommendations or having any significant place within PDJT’s team.
Poor judgement, over reliance on internal relationships, misplaced trust, bad strategist, all apply here. The Fredo analogy is spot on. President Trump’s family is precious,to him, as they should be. But Eric is clearly the best to help guide. Laura is apparently keeping the RNC on the right track (hopefully without her husband) which was sorely needed. But I fear Jr has too much of his dad’s ear.
And as for RFK JR in service to Trump, also agree…minor roles in his wheelhouse…but KEEP HIM AWAY FROM THE INTEL ARM. Other good people to take over that if they can get approved.
I was wondering where the idea for Robert kennedy Jr as CIA DIRECTOR came from. Did not realize it was Don Jr. passing along that rumor.
Don Jr. is no way, shape or form of MAGA Presidential material.
What I don’t understand is that if the IC had a hand in his dads’ killing, why would he allow himself to do business with them?
Put RFK JR. in charge of super fund cleanup.
honest question: does the deep state have the goods on Jr.?
Do nothing. Why does President Trump have to do something?
((((((( ❣️ )))))))
YES!!! Why is everyone’s mindset in a stuck frame of thinking we MAGA movement “have” to make room at the TOP for a Kennedy?
He has deep emotional scars, starting with his uncle and then his father, both being shot in the head and the scars keep accumulating from that young age. Read his diary when he speaks as a tortured man over his sex addiction. We do not need to cow tow to him as if he is royalty. Sadly, he has too much emotional baggage to serve at the highest level and needed capacity.
He’s a big talker now, but he’ll just melt and mix right in with the DC Dems.
Is Don jr behind this or just the front man. As far as Second Amendment yes there’s that and everything else except vaccines.
