We continue referencing the key staffing challenges and positions for Trump 2025, in part to frame a proactive outline and in part to highlight the challenges within several positions that have been corrupted by the administrative state. Today we look at Main Justice, the DOJ in DC.
Main Justice works closely with the FBI on what is loosely termed federal “law and order.” We will address the FBI silo in another outline, choosing to focus exclusively on Main Justice first. There are several positions within the DOJ that are familiar as a result of the modern weaponization that took place.
FBI HQ left, Main Justice HQ right
As an institution, Main Justice is now almost exclusively a Lawfare targeting mechanism. The Dept of Justice unilaterally focuses all criminal investigative resources against the political enemies of the Administrative State.
This is not to say Republicans are targets, because often the republicans are beneficiaries of the targeting operation. Think about the example of Main Justice working with the IRS to target the Tea Party groups in 2010 and 2011.
The Republicans were much more opposed to the Tea Party than the Democrats were. The professional republican apparatus was furious about the primary victories of the Tea Party, and subsequently benefitted from the DOJ targeting of the various patriot movements.
Main Justice targets individuals, organizations and systems that government officials and politicians determine are a threat to the power structure. The Intelligence Community use their ability to conduct electronic surveillance to discover evidence against their targets. The IC then feeds the evidence to Main Justice giving them the targeting coordinates. The DOJ takes action based on the information from the IC, often using the FBI as the enforcement mechanism.
The entire structure of Main Justice as an institution is corrupt, top to bottom. Much like the FBI, there is no agency, office, or subsidiary set of personnel within the DOJ that is not compromised by the modern mission of the organization. This is a critical point to accept, because if it is not accepted then we repeat the mistakes of thinking an Attorney General alone can correct the problem. They cannot.
Within the DOJ there are several divisions that must be addressed simultaneously if any effort to take it down to brass tacks is going to succeed. This cannot be a delicate surgical approach, the effort to remove the corrupt lesion will need chainsaws not scalpels. The fine surgical details and cleaning will be for the next administration.
The interior silos each have an important role, and they include: (1) the DOJ-National Security Division (DOJ-NSD), (2) the DOJ Civil Rights Division, (3) the DOJ-Community Relations Service (DOJ-CRS), and (4) the DOJ Inspector General’s Office. These are the four key agencies within the larger Main Justice system that must be addressed from DC.
Of those FOUR AGENCIES, the single most important one is the DOJ-National Security Division (DOJ-NSD). This is the interior silo that was corrupted from its origin and remained intentionally without Inspector General oversight until 2017.
When we think of the common Lawfare targeting the enemies of the Deep State like Donald Trump, that’s the core purpose of the DOJ-NSD.
DOJ-NSD: […] ” The National Security Division (NSD) was created in March 2006 by the USA PATRIOT Reauthorization and Improvement Act (Pub. L. No. 109-177). The creation of the NSD consolidated the Justice Department’s primary national security operations: the former Office of Intelligence Policy and Review and the Counterterrorism and Counterintelligence and Export Control Sections of the Criminal Division. The new Office of Law and Policy and the Executive Office, as well as the Office of Justice for Victims of Overseas Terrorism (which previously operated out of the Criminal Division) complete the NSD. The NSD commenced operations in September 2006 upon the swearing in of the first Assistant Attorney General for National Security.” (link)
The DOJ-NSD hides behind the justification of “national security” to cloud their activity. In many ways the DOJ-NSD and the CIA have the same cover story that allows them virtually omnipotent power.
The President has previously been hamstrung by the claimed importance and power of agencies under the guise of national security. As you can see from the origin, the Legislative Branch created the beast then cowered away from oversight. The worst outcome stemmed from the Judicial Branch who historically deferred to the national security apparatus.
To understand the dynamic with the Judicial Branch it is worth looking at the outcome of the DOJ-NSD targeting President Trump on the issue of classified records. Check the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals framing.
As you can see the DOJ-NSD knows how to use “national security” as a sword and a shield. This is essentially the issue now created by the DOJ-NSD targeting President Trump.
With the Legislative Branch compromised by their own creation, and with the Judicial Branch stuck inside an old paradigm of “national security” you can see how confronting the DOJ-NSD can only come from one place, THE OVAL OFFICE.
The President of the United States, hopefully Donald J Trump, is going to have to do what the other branches have failed to do, take apart the DOJ-NSD and remove all the functions of Main Justice to their pre-Patriot Act status. This is not going to be easy and will take a very specific type of person as U.S. Attorney General who both understands the issue and can, more importantly, articulate the problem to the larger American public.
So, we have some context for the positions that will be important. We need:
♦ An Attorney General (AG);
♦ A Deputy Attorney General (DAG);
♦ An Asst Deputy AG in charge of the NSD;
♦ An Asst Deputy AG in charge of the Civil Rights Division.
♦ And we need a key person in charge of the ultra-secretive DOJ Community Relations Service.
We need more, but these are the most critical positions to cover – AND REMEMBER, not a single person who has ever worked in Main Justice should ever be considered a candidate for any leadership position in 2025. If they worked in the corrupt DOJ system, they are corrupt – I do not care what capacity they worked in it before.
♦ The AG needs to be ultra clean with a spine of steel and a laser focus. The AG needs to totally understand the goals and objectives, without being told what the goals and objectives are. The AG needs to be independent, stable, strategic, brutally honest and keenly confident in his/her communication style with the attack media.
President Trump cannot spend exhaustive time instructing the AG on critical priorities. The AG needs to operate with skill, focus and self-motivated energy. The AG will be the focus of the Lawfare crew for removal/recusal. (Weissmann, McCord, Eisen, etc.)
♦ The Deputy AG needs to be intensely capable to stay on task with minimal supervision. The DAG is the git-r’-done person, no excuses, no apologies, no explanations. Raw, brutal, cold, quiet and determined. The DAG needs eyes of a mouse and ears of an elephant. The DAG needs to be a sponge, with total loyalty to the mission. The DAG also needs to be the bridge to the FBI.
♦ The Asst DAG in charge of the NSD will be walking into the heart of Obama/Holder’s created snake pit. This DOJ-NSD position covers Foreign Agent Registration Act violations (targeting) as well as the weaponized FISA constructs. The person put into this silo needs to completely understand the dynamic of the DOJ-NSD as the source of the most weaponized aspects.
♦ The Asst DAG in charge of the Civil Rights Division will be critical for all elements of election reform. The ADAG-CRD is going to be attacked, called racist and blasted by the Lawfare operatives. The Civil Rights Division DAG will be targeted by Marc Elias and hundreds of activist lawyers inside every aligned non-governmental agency who depends on the DOJ for enforcement and support.
♦ The person in charge of the CRS will need to head-off the FBI constructs and false flag attacks targeting the Trump administration. The CRS leadership will need to protect all of the DOJ team from the Antifa/BLM efforts as they are manufactured by the FBI silo operators.
Potential candidates:
♦ Attorney General – Ken Paxton (TX)
♦ Deputy AG – Jeff Landry (LA)
♦ Deputy AG NSD – Sidney Powell
♦ Deputy AG Civil Rights Division – Byron Donalds
♦ Community Relations Service – Vivek Ramaswamy
~ SUPPORT CTH HERE ~
.

No to Vivek in any US Government position. Not authentic. Not reliable.
Agreed in the biggest way. Untrustworthy.
I really don’t think Ramaswamy would accept such a low tiered position in the administration, mainly for two reasons:
Besides, “Community Relations Service”? Sounds like a make-work project to pad the DOJ’s staffing and payroll–can it completely. A good place to start in Trump’s Deep State firings.
Nobody running for president would ever admit contemplating for a second being VP, the second after that would be the end of his presidential campaign.
So you think he would accept ANY position in a Trump administration? I don’t think so. His ego…remember?
My fear as well….but I kinda think if he had a GOOD measure of autonomy (would HAVE TO)…. along with the likelihood that he’d be his usual persuasive self in any joint “committee ” steering or tactical type meetings…. and he was allowed to swing a broadsword, (think… ¡A fuera! ) once he tasted blood…. he’d be an enthusiastic participant AND he’d likely recognize the incalculable value added to his resume for future political aspirations.
Even as you mention, I dont see him as much of a team player…..
IMO, Vivek would be quite pleased to get his foot in the door; he would accept almost any position in a Trump cabinet.
Knowing what we know about Vivek, it would be dangerous to let him anywhere near our government.
After all, the eyes are on Vance for the same reason.
This whole triad with Thiel is suspicious. IMHO.
Any position? Most of the positions he would be offered, including the one suggested by Sundance (Community Relations Service for the DOJ), would be the very ones he promised to dismantle should he be elected president, them being part of the bureaucracy driven Deep State.
Ya reckon he’d carry through with that promise and put himself out of a job?
Were Pompeo, Pence, Kelly, Mattis, Meadows, Barr, Wray, Sessions, etc, etc, etc reliable?
At least Vivek has defended President Trump. We’ve done an awful lot worse?
Gotta tell ya, I like these picks. Now to get PDJT back in the WH where he belongs. Particularly like Sidney…
I’d be interested in seeing Sidney in an DOJ IG position. As such, she would review, investigate, and charge all the Main Justice stooges at lower/moderate levels to start. Give them the option of hard sentence or possible “probation, loss of law license, etc . Prosecute all for their past seditious actions, with leniency based on how reliable and useful their information and “testimony ” is against the next higher level rats. Work your way up with solid testimony and confirmed undeniable information. Something tells me she would be hard charger with fairly high motivation level!
Not disagreeing with you about Sidney, just that the last I heard of Sidney she was folding up and shutting up as the Deep State threatened her making too-loud noises about the 2020 election. My memory isn’t all that acute about that time, but I do recall her saying she’d “Release the Kraken”. Then the Deep State started to threaten her and she got very quiet. My hope is she’s still a fighting lady and she only recognized at that time she should stay low and keep her powder dry. But to do the job Sundance suggests, she’ll have to do a lot more than quiet down when she’s threatened, because that will likely be often and brutal.
Again, hope she’s a lot tougher than I recall, we need people who won’t fold when the Swamp brings its worst to stop its enemies.
Amen….
Vivek as WHITE HOUSE PRESS SECRETARY …..those bolshevik presstitutes/hyenas would be scared of him…..
We should not have to choose someone because “we could do worse.”
That was my first instinct too. He’d be another Omarosa. Trump gave her so many chances to rise to the potential he saw in her, all she did was stab him in the front and the back.
A guy like him would be great for WH Press Secretary. 🤣
He certainly knows how shmooze and bulsh*t.
“The AG needs to be ultra clean with a spine of steel and a laser focus”
Obviously not for AG, but let’s get Judge Aileen Cannon in there somewhere, for sure she has laser focus on the Constitution.
I’m selfish. I want Donalds to continue mucking up the RINOs and Uniparty down here in SWFL.
I also think we should secede, but that won’t happen (easily)(until they cross the BIG red line with the state).
But, he would turn that Federal Civil Rights Reparations Complex upside down.
Byron Donalds is not a lawyer, so it might be hard to confirm him as a Deputy AG. Raul Labrador, Idaho State Attorney General might be a better pick for the Civil Rights Division.
Not if the Red Wave hits the Senate!
Agree, LTGOP; Donalds is not the best pick for Dep AG.
Where is Ric Grennell in these “hopeful” staffing positions? and where is Gen Michael Flynn???
BTW, Chrissie Wray needs to be fired on DAY #1 .
M. Flynn’s name has shown up a couple of times in Sundance’s fairly recent posts. Surprising in their contexts, but enlightening, too! I trust Sundance’s knowledge and opinions on The topic!
I think secession is a bad idea. Your are stranding the rest of your people across the country. A better approach would be to divide Kalifornia, keep new California and expell the coast from the union.
We would have a lock and drive these clowns from our lives for good.
If you had at least 26 states file for Kalifornia to be expelled for treason against the citizens of the other states, it might not succeed, but just the attempt would suck all other oxygen out of the demmorhoids sails.
Crazy, but entertaining.
Secession is a great idea.
First nullification and Federalism, then if that fails, secession.
Judge Napolitano has a great video on secession on his youtube. Secession is a spectrum, from mild to harsh.
Also, despite what people tell you, secession has never been adjudicated.
I imagine the red states will let blue state secede and visa versa.
MO AG Bailey seems to be the only R besides Paxton who’s willing to take it to the left. IMO he’d make a pretty solid DAG pick.
Mo and La both joined the lawsuit brought by Jim Hoft.
And very importantly the two A.G.’s that were responsible, were rewarded by the voters with promotions.
Such readily apperent rewards encourage others to engage in similar behaviors.
And State A.G.’s and County Prosecutors are incredibly powerful and important positions as $0r0$ figured out and has exploited.
WE, MAGA need to focus more attention on these State and County Positions.
Yes – and weed out the ones Soros installed.
Eric Schmitt from Missouri might be a good a good choice
Bailey is already on the list as ODNI.
👍👍Ken Paxton is my favored choice for AG – by far!👍😊
Not only is Paxton incredibly intelligent (abundant common sense); he is very effective communicator – ability to break down complex systems and explain legalities in terms that benefit broader public understanding.
Paxton has experienced knowledge of how system is rigged.… and who rigged them.
SD posted link to Paxton/Tucker Carlson interview last year – highly recommend watching, if you haven’t already.
https://theconservativetreehouse.com/blog/2023/09/21/tucker-carlson-interviews-texas-ag-ken-paxton/
He also took on Google anti-trust conduct and won. He would be excellent!
I’m in Texas & would be a drag to have Paxton leave (hopefully TX won’t turn blue as a result), but he’s been great heading off Dems, etc at the pass, especially after he survived their attempt at impeachment. But, as I kept reading I kept thinking of Paxton. Then, when I read his name, I said out loud (nobody in my room but me) YES!
Donalds is a great choice too!
Donalds is great, but don’t we need every MAGA rep in the House we can get?
True, it’s a double-edged sword, but it seems like the need for good choices for staffing (due to fewer good choices) “trumps” our desire for MAGA reps for the House. Repeat of 2016 or 2020 not good at all nor is kackle face in 2025.
My opinion only, but the House/Senate are bought and paid for, and what few patriots we have there are really hamstrung. More important as a start (IMO )is to get DOJ and Fed Courts tuned up to address criminal prosecutions that need to come from all the seditious actions of lobbyists, influencers, legislators, and administrative personnel. Such prosecutions should put a big dampener on poor legislative performance and corrupt influencers.
I agree. And, thank you for posting that, I wasn’t able to put that into words in my comment.
Paxton great at the RINO eradication too
LOL!
Paxton has felt the sting of the UniParty. He knows they are ruthless and lawless.
Great choice in my opinion. Been through the fire and stood up and fought.
I believe God is with him too.
Paxton is a true Patriot Warrior. He definitely deserves to be the USAG. I just hope and pray that TX has somebody ready, willing, and most importantly, able to fill his position.
No longer available.
I got in with the password again, finally. Computer problems. It was so worth it.
Excellent write-up supported by focused research, as usual. And YES to all personnel recommendations EXCEPT Vivek. (Reasoning: never throw a snake-oil salesman into a viper pit).
Again, thanks for all your work!
A “snake oil salesman” (I don’t call him that) is exactly the person to send into a viper pit.
Tony Buzbee, the guy who represented Paxton during his impeachment would be a great choice for any of the above.
He’s a Democrat but I wouldn’t rule him out!!!
Honest and democrat don’t really go hand in hand. I haven’t met a democrat that I consider trustworthy.
Agree. I was very impressed with Buzbee.
That man was a chainsaw, it was fun watching him work. He reminded me of Joe Pesci in “MY Cousin Vinny.”
He was great!
I notice by his omission Rudy Guiliani. Why is he not a player? Certainly he was a victim of the filth that needs be cleaned out.
It is likely that Rudy does not have the energy to carry this out now. He HAS been ‘battered’.
I totally agree, Sturmudgeon. The Party of Lawfare wreaked havoc on this awesome former Governor of NYC.
He has fought against rot and corruption for decades and fought for PDJT, as well. He has been put through the wringer and bankrupted by this Commmie Fascist Regime.
Giuliani is too old, too drunk, too battered, not as strong as he once was, etc etc…?
Then why was he recently fired from his radio talk show at WABC. It wasn’t because he was too old, too drunk or too battered.
Why does LawFare still fear him so much that they continue his political crucifixion?
Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom?
Reverse that for Giuliani. They fear his wisdom. He has knowledge of the system and would serve well in the role as trusted Onorevole Consigliere to the President.
Rudy Guilliani is best used on the White House senior staff as an advisor/consultant to PDJT working as an independent observer to assess just how well the twin tasks of reforming the DOJ and the FBI are progressing.
Too old, not enough energy.
These are not Emeritus positions, he could be more useful in an advisory position.
Rudy is not as strong as he once were.
Think about the attack vectors that Rudy has.
Rudy believes to much in the system
He’s too old and drinks too much. Didn’t have his shite together when they came after him.
Didn’t Giuliani have his license to practice law removed? Remember we already have a lot of victims of this frighteningly politically weaponized “justice” system.
Speaking of this Sundance, what about the Bar Association?
He is a drunk.
Look at the hell the Democrats put him through!
President Bill Clinton fired 93 U.S. attorneys soon after taking office in 1993. See how that works?
That makes sense since there had been 12 years of Reagan and Bush Sr. and only a brief interlude of Carter in the 70’s and he didn’t appear as savvy about such matters.
Unless any fireable humans have demonstrated beyond reproach their commitment to MAGA, they should all be gone the first day. Every remaining one should be vetted in the extreme.
Further, to the extent possible, non-fireable humans not clearly on board should be relegated to nothing jobs with very long completion times. They might still be able to coordinate with the Communists but effective management can work on limiting that.
Yes! Fire them ALL. Make any good folks reapply for their jobs.
That way, you take out all those that illegally targeted not only President Trump but MAGA patriots as well!
Yep ….go all scorched earth, and cut off the oxygen to the survivors…..
fired with notice of their being investigated for their roles in conspiracy to commit sedition or something reasonable related to any action they took in furtherance of the DOJ’s lawfare actions against MAGA operations/operators, including elections, etc. Bet there are a lot of incriminating emails and coffee circuit conversations that will start coming out as the rats scramble to accuse ” the other guy “. Would make for great substack analysis and commentaries.
Certainly, in addition to installing proper people in positions of power, it would make sense to fire en-masse as many of the deep state people as possible as soon as possible. Before he was able to use it, PDJT had an executive order that would have permitted any ‘public service employee’ who makes policy, to be possibly subject to being fired. (It is generally nearly impossible to fire a govco employee)
It also makes sense to move the headquarters of various agencies, outside of the DC cesspool.
Also, o’bummer ‘retired’ many in the Military who, when called upon (necessity) would have been on the side of a Justice System, as needed. Am I off base with this thought?
He urgently needed to completely quash several investigation, with whitewater at the top of the list. Also he did it right after he did something else super controversial at the time — enable recruitment and enlistment of homosexuals into the armed services(?) — so that the kerfuffle masked the mass DOJ firings.
Given the job descriptions, these picks seem pretty spot on. I have trust issues with a few names, but nobody is going to perfect. We have to take the best options available and pray for them and their success!
SD, are you planning on doing a wrap up article listing all of your picks? 🙂
At the end of this post Sundance has links to all previous posts and picks in this series,
I think a wrap-up article is still needed, once SD’s full list is complete.
Yes, I agree and I think it should be about we get these nominees past the Senate confirmation. PDJT was able to use a six month appointment provision with some appointees, Rick Grenell, comes to mind. We don’t have time to drag this process out.
I second the question concerning a wrap up article listing all of SD’s picks.
What about Matt Whitaker he has already been there so he knows
the game and the players and he has seemed to remain loyal to Trump
for I have seen of him speaking on Fox.
Vivek??
No no no no no no, bro, no.
At Civil Rights, I would put in whoever has been the top litigator for the Thomas More Society.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_More_Society
Yes, yes, yes.
Regarding Donalds, someone has to be Speaker of the House and I like him for that role. Large and in charge.
Stephen Miller from America First Legal for the Community Relations role – he would be forced to recuse from way too much in the other roles.
My sense is that SD thinks a JD is a requisite for that role….
I feel strongly that the ” best candidates available ” be placed into WH, DOJ, and Fed Court positions ASAP. The legislature is bought/paid for. Youve seen what happens when a supposed ” strong R ” gets put in position. Go along or suffer! Prosecution of all those responsible for or having participated in past ( and present ) seditious actions needs to occur immediately. Put the fear of prosecution/incarceration into their mindset. That fear will cause them to start eating each other, and will quickly make the turncoats think before continuing their actions. The hardcore will dig in, but the lights have been turned on and they will need to flee!
To get the full win, if malfeasance is determined, strip their security clearances too.
Strip security clearances anyway and make them useless at MSNBC.
All of our learned commentors opposed to Vivek Ramaswamy must have knowledge of fact beyond that of Sundance. Please, instead of a flat-footed “NO”, please share your knowledge so we can all benefit.
Especially on this password-protected site your input of knowledge (not opinion) is essential.
In the interim, topical commentary can be found, in part, in these two recent discussions…

Aside from all of his unsavory connections and questionable background that Treepers have laid out over a number of months, his only apparent qualification is that he has a law degree.
That is completely insufficient. He has never litigated a case in his life. He is completely unfamiliar with navigating the six ways to Sunday hell the DOJ bureaucracy would have in store for him.
Hell, he has probably never been through an “onboarding ” in any similar place, much less survived 4 years.
He has never withstood a test of fire, and folks want to throw him into one of the hottest furnaces out there?
They’ll eat him alive.
^^^^^^^^^^^^
You had me at unsavory background and connections.
Two points; all of these positions work “at the pleasure of the POTUS”, and can be fired at any time, so its not like PDJT is ‘stuck’ with them.
And as we engage in this mental excercise of staffing his second term, its nice to see how many STRONG choices we have, to choose from.
No comparison to 2016, when PDJT rightfully smelled a fat greasy rat, and booted Christy as transition, only to take just as bad Priebus.
One final note; while murky on the specifics, so far this Campaign, this election SEASON has gone just about the way I had expected it would,…hows about you?
lol, maybe not exactly the way I thought.
But crazy the way I thought.
I like all your choices. Paxton is a chainsaw type worker and Sydney Powell a passionate patriot who will be highly motivated after being abused by current Justine system. God bless you Sundance
Is Sundance choosing Ramaswamy because it would please people like Vance, Thiel and maybe Musk?
Or does he think he’ll do a good job because he’s a good talker and man of action?
Sounds logical. But I digress to see if SD addresses the Rama pick. Honestly with Paxton running the show I don’t think Ramaswamy would take the position.
The latter.
Quite the lineup; very impressive!
Well done, Sundance, and thank. You for your insight.
I echo those who suggest Matthew Whitaker, his experiences as DoJ Chief of Staff and Acting AG give him a wide level of knowledge about the complexities of the DOJ systems, an essential for major reconstruction.
As an aside, Sundance, spend some time in the books to really get a handle on the Security Clearance Process and Billet Management systems. It is a critical tool in both ensuring nominee’s can rapidly and comprehensively gain access to the materials concealed behind the CodeWord Access programs at the TS-SCI-SBI (CodeWord) level. Programs at that level are invisible, by design, to compartmentalize critical secrets from widespread compromise. A great, long standing technique to prevent wholesale exposure of programs to our enemies, but also a powerful camouflage technique for the Deep State.
Remember, it can be an offensive tool as well as defensive, since every deep state actor is neutered if their access is suspended pending a review, a lifestyle or criminal inquiry polygraph, or a periodic update since most are overdue or pending. Early selections for the Trump Administration in agencies with areas of classified holdings and programs MUST be conversant in how the game is played and how to recognize that it is underway, and how to leverage the power of classified access to open doors and change minds!
Agree on all of the above. Some know what it is like to be targeted by Lawfare.
As for community relations… few are better than Vivek to take on outrech and the media than Vivek. Perfect spot for him.
I love TX AG Paxton! He might very well be the only one standing in the breech of a blue state of TX.
If we lose TX to Bushy-Communist Demoncraps, we lose the country.
Agreed. Which might be a good reason not to take him out of his present position, he may be the sole finger in the dike in keeping Texas from being swamped by the illegal voting, the left, and the RINOs.
Is his job to train a replacement-s (any Supervisor’s job).
Rick: “I notice by his omission Rudy Guiliani. Why is he not a player? Certainly he was a victim of the filth that needs be cleaned out.”
Battleship Wisconsin: “Rudy Guilliani is best used on the White House senior staff as an advisor/consultant to PDJT working as an independent observer to assess just how well the twin tasks of reforming the DOJ and the FBI are progressing.”
Upon further thought, let’s note that Dr. Ben Carson is SD’s choice for the very crucial role of The Emissary, a position which reports directly to President Trump.
The Emissary will need a council of loyal and very knowledgeable advisors who can handle the detail work of independently monitoring and assessing progress in reforming the corrupt institutions of the Executive Branch.
For one example, Rudy Guilliani would report to Dr. Ben Carson and be that member of The Emissary Council whose assignment would be to independently monitor and assess just how well the related tasks of reforming the DOJ and the FBI are coming along.
Serious question – from a historical / revenge perspective, how about RFK Jr. as AG? He has at least 2 very good reasons to dismantle the Deep State.
All that sundance has said in the last few weeks about RFK Jr makes me leery of trusting him any further than we could throw a face mask at him.
However, things do change, and sundance’s hunch that Junior might be considering dropping out and endorsing PDJT could do something to change them.
But never never never for AG. Perhaps something cleaning out the stables of the corrupt FDA…
I agree with steph_gray, and would only add there’d be a big conflict of interest, owing to those two very good reasons to which you refer.
Great choices for all
WWYWTLWO
pronounced: Waw-wuh-you-watel-woah?
an acronym for the phrase, “Where Were You When The Lights Went Out?”
I am not talking about the big power outage in New York City in the last century (they even made a movie about it).
I am referring to the years of President Trump’s first administration when Senator Mitch McConnell schemed to keep President Trump from making any recess appointments. When our paid servants were back home on their lardbutt vacations, McConnell, then Senate Majority Leader, made sure of it that no one enabled the President during that time. The lights in the Senate were turned out. A dark house.
So, I do not want to see any of those Senators anywhere IN the second Trump administration.
I think this will help in the selection process!
Try it – like this –
WWYWTLWO, Senator Rand Paul?
Very interesting suggestions, indeed.
I don’t think Powell is an option anymore based on her “Kraken” situation and ties to the Overstock guy. I know she was great prior to all that in her vocal confrontations with Weissman, etc. But it will be hard to get over her legal troubles and the gullability she showed IMHO. Perhaps Eastman instead?
Paxton, Landry, no doubts. But would the Senate ever approve Paxton?
Donalds, shrewd choice, but is he even a lawyer? Is that even a requirement?
Vivek, interesting. Same – not a lawyer, but does that matter? It’ll make the Silicon Valley guys feel good.
Don’t forget Eastman, one of the top lawyers in the country, certainly the top on election law, has lost his license to practice law – at least in the State of California.
I would love to see Sydney Powell as Deputy AG NSA
She is a loyal patriot and I like to watch liberals cry.
I think Paxton for AG because he has walked through the fire
aaah, Suspicious Cat remains, well … suspicious
Jeff Clark over Donald.
Thought about John Eastman but he would be my Chief of Staff pick.
Recommend Lee Zeldin for Deputy A.G.
Or head of the SS, Lee was no slouch when a nutcase tried to stab him in the neck with cat ears. He fought the would be assassin off with the help of his pick for Lt Gov NYPD retiree Alison Esposito. She could be second in command with SS.
Lee was always a Trump supporter, and there’s no way he lost the election, but it is NY.
The attacker got three years probation.
The only important thing happening in D.C. FEDGOV these days is how much harm anything they do causes. EVERYTHING happening in D.C. is against the U.S.Constitutional American way of life. Nothing good about any of it. Not. One. Thing.
Potential candidates:
♦ Attorney General – Ken Paxton (TX) 👍🏻
♦ Deputy AG – Jeff Landry (LA) 👍🏻
♦ Deputy AG NSD – Sidney Powell 👍🏻
♦ Deputy AG Civil Rights Division – Byron Donalds 👍🏻
♦ Community Relations Service – Vivek Ramaswamy 🤔 (Have reservations about him.)
Vivek will step up to the plate to get the job done….. he’s not stupid.
Just concerned about his establishment connections, which SD has pointed out on a few occasions.
Chris Farrell, 25 years at Judicial Watch suggests creating an investigation division within the US Marshall’s Office and collapsing the FBI in six months time.
End Holmsteading at the DOJ. US attorneys must be moved around every 3 to 4 years, and if they won’t—leave. Interview with Joe Hoft starts about 23:00. Some great ideas and know how.

Your post brought a suggestion to mind – IIRC Tom Fitton isn’t a lawyer but there are some experienced lawyers who work at or with Judicial Watch who could be useful inside the machine. What’s the consensus on JW? Are they theater, controlled opposition or MAGA?
Judicial Watch does great work, they’ve spent the last decade or so pulling teeth to get things exposed that otherwise never would have seen the light of day.
A Big YES to Ken Paxton as Attorney General. In hindsight the left may have seen his future potential when they went after him on bogus charges.
Paxton is a Texan through and through.
Any of the above in any combination. I’ll trust Sundance on Vivek.
No to Vivek being in ANY position in the next administration until his BFF J.D Vance proves himself to not be a stealth neocon. That has yet to happen.
And since the guy has been brought up a lot even when Sundance doesn’t do it himself, no to Ric Grenell either. Trump still hasn’t purged his inner circle of stealth neocons, and out of those who remain Grenell is one of if not THE most dangerous.
Don’t forget the initial recusal gambit against the new attorney general under Trump in 2017.
Please don’t overlook Mike Benz, Josh Hammer or Theo Wold.
These 3 have been impressive on The Warroom.
Said it again and again during 45–transfer all alphabet top management to the worst, most far-flung locations. Bring up people with good records actually doing law enforcement work as acting heads. PDJT will need to fill positions at least 3 deep in this way, so even if he has to remove someone, there’s another MAGA ready to sub in. Only way I see to avoid the Comedy-McCriminal-Wrat and Sessions-Ratsenstein-situations, given how hard it is to get anyone decent confirmed.
Spot on! Good people and motivated by experience to clean up the Department. I would love to see Sidney Powell in this position since she fought so hard for Michael Flynn and was so injured by the Justice Department in the Georgia case..
We have to clean up Justice.
AGs in UT and MO have great records in support of the Constitution, Rule of Law, gun rights, free speech & religious liberty, and enforcing immigration laws…
Not that my opinion matters much but I like everyone of these recommendations. I see some treeper’s points about being leery of Vivek but he is a great communicator, has confronted a hostile press, is able to easily explain false narratives/flags, which seems to be a requirement for the role, and would be a good fit for the position.
I wish there was General ready to retire who wants to burn it down
on the way out without a care
excellent. well done!
I like the whole lot especially Powell and Rama.
Sundance should be on the vetting team.
I think he is…hhmmm
The US Senate will only confirm Uniparty nominees. I love the thinking here, but only a handful of senators, if that, would vote for anything other. They are paid to do so, and they are all blackmailable. The NJ criminal senator only did what Biden and the rest have been doing for decades. They are taking him down to send a message to the rest.
But, you gotta have stretch goals, as our host does here. Trump would have to go to war against individual senators. Threaten them with a primary challenge. Expose them directly to their state’s residents. Attack them for their paymasters. Liquidate one, stand over their political corpse, and ask “Who’s next?”
McConnell won’t care and won’t budge, at first. In a couple years? Maybe. It will take 20-30 years to clean up this mess, if ever. But you gotta start somewhere.
If Trump pulls way ahead of Harris, and he might, he will have to consider directly challenging the Uniparty during the campaign, and attacking a few incumbents by name. Might as well get the party started. I’m expecting conflict, and the Uniparty will want to hang losses on him immediately. We’ll see.
Reminder, we need 1 strong senator to get us a 10 minute recess on day 1. That gets us the good guys for 2 years. Then do it again in 2027 at the next congress.
Good thought, but the ethics investigations of your strong senator would begin immediately. He’d be stripped of his committee assignments. All campaign funding from McConnell’s campaign fund would be halted. And ultimately, criminal charges would be brought against him… like the NJ criminal right now.
The recess chimera has always been false hope. I’d be glad to see it, and patriots have to sacrifice if we’re ever to dig out. Maybe Trump can help trigger this. He’s paid a heavy price, and risked his life. Others will have to as well.
Not disparaging here in any way. I’m curious if this bait brings the roaches out in the open and if so, how do they show themselves?
👍
Love the analysis.
Love the recommendations.
This is going to need to be done in each Federal District. For all the 3 letter clubs. No one in place or a position of authority at the districts I know, is not upholding the law selectively. It is cover the cronies, nail some low hanging fruit to keep up appearances, hell even let indictments die in the back of the courthouse vault. Along with nailing idiots, you put in place, because they are that Fing stupid. The list goes on and on and on.
Sad not everyone knows what they are looking at.
